Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. After reading all the press releases about the store opening, I booked a VIP session for my daughter, hoping to kick off her wedding attire shopping with a truly great experience. This is not at all what we experienced. A lengthy questionnaire had been completed prior to our visit, which detailed my daughters preferences, size, her fiancé name, and the fact that she was marrying another woman. She has stated that she was hoping to try on not only dresses but bridal suits as well. When I paid the $200 fee (which is nonrefundable) for the VIP treatment, I was told that we would have a private area to view the bride trying on items, along with champagne and light hors d'oeuvres. What we got was a stage with some folding chairs, some champagne, and some cookies out of a box. Unfortunately, the area for the bride to try on outfits was not even a room. It was a half moon curtain off to the side, similar to what you would use in a park if you were wanting to change your clothes after running. I had called the store on two separate occasions to make sure that they would have some suits available for her to try on, but unfortunately they did not. They did not even seem to know that she wanted to try on suits. They asked her what the grooms name was, indicating to me that no one really even read the questionnaire. The dresses that they did bring her (a total of three) were all the same style. When we asked to see different styles they said that this was the style that would look best on her. We also were not welcome to look around the store and make any suggestions ourselves. We were the only customers in the store, so I'm not sure of that reason. At the end, they wanted to customize a suit for her, sight unseen, and without any drawings available, and wanted her to pay for it then. When I inquired about whether they could do this and keep it in her budget, they asked well what is her budget? I have never had an experience like this before, and we will not be returning to this store. I would not recommend it for anyone in the LGBTQ community, which is surprising, given Randy's association with the store. read more
