I visited yesterday with my mom, sister and future mother in law. We arrived at my appointment a little bit early, and took some time to browse the selection. At this time, I had purchased a non refundable evening gown last weekend, for $200 at a different store, and immediately felt a little but of buyer's remorse as it just wasn't THE dress. First, I will say the assortment of gowns blew me away here. Everything is arranged by price point as well. Each rack was super organized & made browsing a piece of cake. I was already feeling some relief by this point - considering this was my final appointment at a boutique to meet with, just from walking in the door. Kristin came around the corner shortly after we arrived, also earlier than my schedule 3:30 appointment, and called out for me in such a delightful tone. This is SO important to me as I've found it's all about the first impressions at these bridal appointments - they're attitude will really make or break the duration of the experience. I've been to at least 6 other store and boutiques and felt more like I was inconveniencing them or was being rushed. Not here, and definitely not with Kristin. She is so kind & patient, very helpful and incredibly detail oriented - she payed attention to me and my party 100% of the time, so she was able to remember what likes/dislikes I had about each gown as I narrowed it down to 1. Seems like a lot of the ladies who work here are truly there to offer amazing input & customer service! My sister ran next door to get some bubbly, per the suggestion and OK by the manager (they even offered us champagne flutes!). She opened it - it overflowed a bit out of the bottle onto the floor. But, they were so nice to immediately help her clean it up, didn't make us feel bad about it, and continued to offer excellent service! I bought my dress here and am anxiously awaiting for it to be delivered. It's a bit of a ways out, but, it's worth it. I can't wait! I would recommend this little gem to anyone in the DFW area. It's worth the drive if you're not located in North Dallas or Addison area! They offered a fabulous assortment of great quality dresses, an educated, attentive staff and just a wonderful experience all together. Bonus: they have plenty of seating available, so you're party isn't squished into a small section of chairs or having to run for chairs as soon as they free up - real talk. I never thought that I works have the "Say Yes to the Dress" experience like you are on TV, mostly due to pricing. I was there picking up my bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding and casually mentioned this to the gal helping me try on the dress. She said there's a off the rack room of $500 and under dresses. And they were beautiful! There's mostly fluffy, mermaid, and sleek dresses. In the rest of the boutique, there is a wide selection of bridesmaid and wedding dresses. There are cute little stages for the bride to stand on. And the ladies who help you put on the dress are super sweet and supportive. They offered my entourage bubbly to drink and we had our own private room in the back, which they loved. When I found my gown, they let us do a cute little mini photo shoot of me saying yes. It was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this shop. It's important to note that the girls never made me feel like I was a budget bride. I've had poor experiences here as both a bride and bridesmaid. Upon having a bridal appointment, the staff was extremely unprepared and less than accommodating. I was handed a 3 dresses and left alone to put them on. I had to ask for clips and assistance frequently. I went to 4 bridal stores before finding my dress, this was by far the worst experience. More recently, I came in for a bridesmaid fitting appointment. The staff again ill prepared and aloof. My visit to Last Bridal was my first experience trying on dresses and it went so well!! The store was so well organized and I wasn't overwhelmed by my choices. My consultant Heather was so patient and was really helpful at finding dresses in my style. I went here specifically to look at the Maggie Sottero dresses. I was looking for one of her dresses in her modest collection. While they didn't have any of the specific modest dresses in store they had the same dress in the "regular" style so I was able to see how they would look on. I had the BEST experience at Lasting Bridal. I went with my sister-in-law two years ago to get her dress here, and I knew this was a place I wanted to look when I got engaged. I only made two appointments for wedding dress shopping, here and a bigger, more commercial dress shop in Lewisville. Lasting Bridal was my first appointment and Kristen assisted me and I could not have asked for anyone better to help me find my dream dress. The salon was quiet, my "entourage" (mom, cousin, and grandma) were able to sit comfortably while Kristen did ALL of the work. She was able to understand my style and pulled the best dresses. We were never rushed and were able to take our time and even had my cousin try on bridesmaid dresses. Never once did I feel rushed. All the dresses were reasonably priced and I did find my dream dress while I was there. I went back about six weeks later to buy bridesmaid dresses. You get 15% off if you buy your wedding dress there. I went with my three bridesmaids and my mom and we were treated the same way. My three bridesmaids tried on so many different styles and no one acted annoyed with us and once again, no one rushed us. All three girls found their dresses and it was so easy. Very unimpressed with this place. We had an appointment, yet they just asked the bride what she liked and then told her to walk around and pick some dresses. What? Aren't you supposed to help choose and make recommendations? The girl didn't even describe how the store was set up, so it's literally like walking into Walmart and saying, find something you want. They were no help at all. Thankfully this was our 3rd stop, so we had some great experiences at the previous stops and knew enough to realize this was NOT how the experience was supposed to go. And they completely ignored the bride's budget requests too and kept pushing her toward dresses that were way over budget. read more

Worst experience I've had so far at a bridal boutique. The old sales lady was so thoroughly condescending that I became too discouraged to even finish zipping up the first dress I wanted to try on. I did NOT appreciate being told "your mother can alter it" every time I pointed out a feature of a dress that I didn't particularly like. I did NOT appreciate that woman hovering just behind the curtain of the fitting room saying "let me tie it, I'll MAKE it fit". I wasn't measured for my dress...the size was guessed based on the sample dress. The dress that was ordered did not fit me when I came in to pick it up. I ended up having to go with another choice since there was not enough time to get my first pick. It was one of their sample dresses. Alterations were done in house free of charge and it was supposed to be cleaned. The alternations were so poor that I could hardly speak when I tried it on. I just got the dress and left. (I only had 6 weeks until my wedding and was ready to move on). I ended up having someone else do my alternations. (I called a very expensive wedding dress shop and got a referral). The person that redid my alternations pointed out that the dress was dirty...I was so upset about the way it was lying on my hips and did not fit around my chest that I didn't noticed. She hand washed it for free as she felt so sorry for me. Nice customer service and a good selection for people on the budget but it did not make up for the all trouble. I wouldn't tell someone not to go here, I would just tell them to make sure they are properly measured and find someone good to do your alternations. read more

I found the dress I wanted online but I struggled to find a store that carried it. I came across Lasting Bridal and they carried other Maggie Destination dresses. I noticed on their website they had a Maggie trunk show coming up and when I asked the owner, he was kind enough to honor the 10% discount, so I placed my order. When the girls measured me they told me I was between a size 6 and 8. I asked for their recommendation and their answer was it's up to you?!? I expected more help in the decision making process as they should know if Maggie dresses tend to run smaller but they were the least bit helpful. The dress arrived 5 months later as they said and I went in for my first fitting. I was happy that the dress was exactly how I imagined. HOWEVER, I would strongly recommend taking your dress elsewhere for alterations. I was very dissatisfied with the alterations considering the overall cost and quality. Wendy, their seamstress, quoted me $400 for taking out the hip area, shortening the dress, adding a classic bustle and shortening the detachable strap. $400 was half the price of the dress!!! I certainly had sticker shock, but I wanted to keep everything in the same shop, so I approved the work. My dress came with a detachable strap but no one could figure out how to put it on in my first fitting. I had forgotten to bring a picture, so the seamstress worked with another girl and they assumed the strap had to go on a certain way and she was going to need to shorten it. I reviewed pictures later that evening and realized they made the wrong assumptions. I was in such as panic that night... I was afraid by the time I caught them it would be too late and I had waited 5 months for the dress to come in! Lasting Bridal does not allow you to record voice mails and it's often hard to get through to speak to someone. I finally got a hold of someone the next day, and she confirmed she would pass the message on to Wendy. I called in a few days later to confirm the message was passed on which it was so my strap was saved. Nonetheless, I found this quite unprofessional as they made assumptions which could have ruined the strap and the look of the dress. After the strap fiasco, I went in for my second fitting. The hem was shortened and the hip area taken out. The hem was done so poorly, I could see the raw edges and some portions of the chiffon beginning to snag! When I showed Wendy she said "I will trim the raw edges off." Mind you, it's chiffon so I was terrified the fabric would snag more so I asked her to redo the hem properly and not to 'trim' it. The hip area was still a little tight so Wendy was going to take it out a bit more. Not once did she measure me which I found odd. On my third trip back, again I noticed the hem was still not done properly. Wendy was simply hemming the front half of the dress not the entire dress bottom, so I felt there was no excuse to have hem that was busting out and showing raw edges. There were thread clippings and needle pin pricks in the fabric where she had redone the hip area multiple times, but Wendy promised this would come out when the dress was ironed. It took 6 trips before my alterations were completed, which were primarily shortening the front of the dress and expanding the hip area. For $400 I expected much higher quality in alterations. Instead it was sloppy and required too much supervision and revisions. Note: Wendy only takes appointments on Tuesday and Thursdays, so it's not convenient if you are not close to Addison. In the end, I had to overlook the snags in the hip area as there is nothing that can be done to fix that. At my final fitting, I had to ask the girl helping me to show me how to do the bustle because NO ONE offered to show me before. Irene was very pleasant to deal with, but that was the only positive experience out of the 6 trips I made to Addison. read more

The process of finding a wedding dress is exciting, filled with nerves, and sometimes a bit stressful. I flew in from out of town because my wedding is in Dallas, so I booked several different appointments around the metroplex to make sure I could find my dress in one weekend. I started with a shop in Lewisville, and had a good experience but found that a lot of the dresses were just a little out of my price range. It's very easy to get carried away and not stick to budget, but I was determined. My next appointment was at Lasting Bridal, which was recommended to me by a friend. We had the first appointment of the day, and my bridal consultant, Rachel, was ready to go when my mom and I arrived. Lasting Bridal is different from the other shop I tried in that the dresses were arranged by budget, so there it was very clear which racks I should be looking at to make sure I was watching the dollars. They also have a room filled with tons of sale dresses and off the rack options that were extremely affordable and in great shape. The selection of dresses was great, and they had a lot of different options in terms of style and price. They have several dressing rooms, then brides all share the same stage and each bride has their own platform to stand on and show their guests. I can see where this might be a little less intimate than other shops, but I really enjoyed seeing other girls trying on dresses, it was fun to see other girls' styles and I got to see way more dresses on actual girls instead of just on hangars. Rachel told me to start with about 7 dresses, but of course I got over excited and my mom and I picked out double that. Rachel was great with getting me in and out of the dresses quickly, and she gave her opinion when we asked, and didn't get annoyed when I wanted to try on a couple of dresses twice just for comparison. She also seemed very in tune with my mom and I, and what we were looking for. I really appreciated that after only a few minutes, I felt like we were friends and could talk honestly about each dress. I never felt like she was trying to convince me of any dress. And toward the end, we found "the one". I still went back and tried a few more dresses on, and then she didn't mind when I wanted to try "the one" on again and take several minutes to walk around the store, take pictures, etc. She also made the measuring process very easy, and she was just a pleasure to work with. I'd highly recommend Lasting Bridal. All the consultants were very well versed in the types of dresses, designers, and seemed to be able to help each bride individually and successfully. I also really appreciated how budget conscious they all were, no one tried to push a dress or sell me anything that was more than I had planned on spending. My dress should be here in July, and I plan on using their in house tailor for any alterations I may need. I'm very much looking forward to it, and Rachel said she'd be able to help for that part of the process as well, so I'm grateful to have the same consultant throughout my entire dress process! One trip, and done! Just what I wanted! I found Lasting Bridal Couture through the Maggie Sottero website - I just LOVE her gowns!!! LBC is an authorized retailer for Maggie so I just HAD to come here. It's funny actually, I emailed Pure Luxe Bridal in Allen several times with questions and NEVER got a response from anyone (they are much closer to me than Lasting Bridal Couture). But I reached out to LBC several times and ALWAYS got such great responses from Lauren. She was so incredibly helpful before I even came in the shop! Yesterday, I had my appointment with Lauren. I tried on about 8 or 9 dresses, and really liked elements from each one - Lauren is so good at what she does, she was able to find me several dresses that captured what I was looking for, and eventually found me the dress that encompassed everything I've been looking for! It was such a fantastic experience, I can't speak her praises enough. Now, just have to wait until January for my dress to get in - I am so excited! read more

So let me first off say that I am not the bride. I brought my friend in from out of state for her first dress shopping experience because their website said they had a particular dress that she wanted to try on. We get there and they do not have the dress nor do they know when it would be coming in. Okay that's fine. So the young lady who was helping pointed us to the roughly 20 plus size dresses they had. Also not that big of a deal. My friend and I pick out a few dresses and she is take back to the fitting rooms which were like small cubby holes with curtains that closed them off. The lady did not offer a strapless bra or a slip/whatever the bottom price is called. I was horrified when they brought my friend out and they didn't even clip the sides of the dress to keep her breasts from falling out. All I kept thinking is you have got to be freaking kidding me. I know that when you are wanting to sell a wedding dress you want to bride to feel like a million dollars and you are going to let her walk out of your tiny ass small closet sized dressing room with her boobs about to fall out and the dress not clipped properly?!?! WTF! I literally had to ask for clips so I could do the ladies job! I was mortified that I took my best friend here. My first time dress shopping for my wedding was a million times better than this. We left and will not be coming back. I won't send any one I know here. We got better service and friendlier people at David's Bridal. To the manager/owner/anyone in charge TRAIN YOUR FREAKING EMPLOYEES! Brides are coming to your store and spending a lot of money. I live in San Diego, CA, but all my family is in the Dallas area. I went to visit a few months after getting engaged and, because my mom would not be able to be in San Diego with me for dress shopping, we decided to go to a bridal salon so I could try on dresses just for fun. I had not tried on dresses before, and I thought I had an idea of what I liked. As a side note: I ended up not even liking what I thought I wanted once I saw the style on me. Lauren helped me out and she was great to work with: super helpful and patient. I did not fee rushed or pushed for a dress at any point during the appointment. My family and Lauren both picked out dresses for me to try. A few dresses in, I tried on the San Patrick Calais dress (which Lauren had actually added to the fitting room). That was it. I knew as soon as I put it on that I loved that dress and felt like that would be the dress I'd be walking down the aisle in. As a note, I tried on dresses ranging from $600-$1500. I decided to visit a few bridal salons in San Diego before committing to THE dress. I went to a few larger wedding stores, as well as a nice designer wedding boutique in Del Mar. I thought I may just order the dress from a nearby salon because it seemed more convenient. However, I did not get the same warm, happy, OMG I'M GETTING MARRIED feeling at any other boutique I visited. So, I decided to just order the dress through the Dallas boutique and have it shipped out to San Diego. I ordered my dress in September. It arrived in Dallas in December, and a week later I received in San Diego. I could not be more excited and I would definitely recommend visiting Lasting Bridal Couture if you are in teh market for a wedding dress and a great experience. I came in on Friday to order my Bridesmaid gown for a wedding in March. Lauren was my consultant, and she was so sweet and helpful. I was pretty stressed because the dress was still going to take a while to come in. But she worked with me on it and got everything taken care of so the dress will be in on time. Also, since they didn't have that exact dress to try on, she measured me and then helped me find other similar dresses to try on just to verify the sizing. The thing I like best about this shop is that the people there are easy going, lovely ladies. Some of the other bridal salons I have been to have some consultants who are a bit snobby, but not here. I cannot say enough amazing things about Bridal Couture. I purchased my wedding dress last year around Christmas at 260 lbs. I told them at the time of purchase I was hoping to lose a significant amount of weight. They told me they could take the dress in. I don't think anyone expected me to lose 94 lbs. I bought the dress final sale. I went today for a dress fitting and the dress would need to be taken in 8 inches. The seamstress said it is not realistic. They could have left me sad and stuck with a beautiful dress that doesn't fit that I would have to resell myself. However they were amazing and let me trade the dress in for one that fit. I could not be more grateful for their kindness. As brides we already have so much to worry about its so nice to at least know you don't have to worry about your dress; that no matter what happens you will be taken care of! read more

Lasting Bridal Couture was by FAR the most welcoming and accommodating salon with a seriously great selection of dresses. I needed a plus size dress and had major reservations about being able to find anything. Sarah was my attendant, and she was incredibly sweet and listened to my input about each dress. I live in Wichita Falls. We don't have much of a wedding dress selection up here, so my friend suggested a few places that she went to in the metroplex. One Saturday in November 2013, I made appointments at a couple bridal shops to try on dresses. My first stop was Last Bridal Couture. My appointment was with Rebekah. I was a little frustrated with the dresses because their try-on sizes are 8s and 10s and I'm a healthy 14. Rebekah could tell I was starting to get ready to nix the store and head on to my next destination. She told me to wait and she'd go find another to try on. The dress she brought in was beautiful, so I tried it on. When I walked out I felt like all eyes were on me. I felt comfortable and stunning in the size 10 so I knew a 14 would be even more fabulous. I chose this to be my wedding dress!!! Rebekah was so excited with me. Even though I had just met her I felt like I have known her my whole life. I have had 2 dress fittings since then and each time I go in Rebekah remembers me and comes to the alterations room to hang with me. She and the rest of the staff are so personable and attentive to my wants and needs. This last dress fitting visit one of my bridesmaids came with me. If I could give a zero, I would have. I'm writing today because I am mid-process with purchasing from Lasting Bridal. After originally trying on a dress that was larger than me by several sizes, I was lead to believe that this store knew what they were doing. I trusted the saleswoman to tell me which was the best option for me, even after asking more than once if it made sense to go up one more size--however, I was told that the size WOULD work. I'm not a dress expert here, so it's pretty amazing that I'm being held accountable for their poor execution. I was told it would be in by January, however, two weeks later I got the call that my dress was in! Awesome! --or so I thought-- I took my friend in to do my first trial, the dress was lovely- however at the end of my fitting I did notice the saleswoman took re-measurement of my size but didn't say anything- it wasn't until a week later that I got a call letting me know that there was something wrong with the sizing, thus they knew when I tried on the dress that something was wrong but they didn't tell me there. So, we figured it out- they sent the wrong size back, and now I'll have to wait until February to get the new dress--not the best news--but SUPPOSEDLY their alterations lady would be able to do a two week turn around, ok, fine. Two more weeks go by, and I get a voicemail that I need to call them-- they informed me that the dress was actually always that size, the measurements they had SHOULD have prompted them to tell me to consider a size up, but they WON'T be taking responsibility due to the fact that I sized a contract. Therefore, if I want to dress any sooner than March 6th- my wedding is March 18th, that I will need to pay for the overnight shipping (for their mistake) costs an EXTRA $100 dollars. The saleswoman spoke to the owner, and his response was, "well, you signed the contract." Really classy! Additionally, because of their mistake, MORE alterations will need to be made, and I am "responsible" for these costs as well. We budgeted for the original estimate of the dress, and now because of THEIR mistake, we are on the hook for any "additional" fees they see as necessary. I made a deposit of half of the cost of the dress, and now unless I want to lose my money, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Thus, my response is that this is EXTREMELY poor customer service, and considering these dresses are certainly not cheap, I would expect something more than "sorry, but we are not sorry." I understand this is a business, but when your business doesn't provide the right kind of professional service to begin with, the right thing to do is work with your customers. I'm giving it four stars for the selection. I had to look off the rack as my wedding was coming up in a few weeks. I really liked their selection. My attendant was very nice as well. I took off a star because halfway through my session, while I was in the dressing room, my attendant started paying more attention to another bride. Just making small talk and hearing her story of her engagement which is fine. The other bride already had an attendant and was being taken care of. Later in my session, my attendant started to watch the aforementioned bride and suggest stuff for her, eventhough I was standing in the mirror with a dress on. She kept turning around and chatting and admiring the other customers' dress, though she was supposed to be adjusting the fit and helping me with my dress. I didn't appreciate that and felt a little ignored. I did not end up buying my dress here as the experience didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. This was just my experience, it's definitely worth a look especially if you're going off the rack. Really good prices. Happy dress hunting! read more

I had such an amazing experience here. I worked with Jillian and she was very patient and helpful in finding my perfect dress! They have a very extensive dress collection (and they have a small sale room!) with lots of different designers. I ended up falling in LOVE with a Maggie Sottero dress but the color didn't stand out enough against my skin. I went online and saw that the brand had an ivory version and Lasting Bridal Couture quickly called the rep to see if the ivory one was available and IT WAS!! I also bought a beautiful veil from the boutique too. The environment is welcoming and they don't put any pressure on you to purchase. I would highly recommend this place when looking to find your dress! read more

Lasting Bridal was the last boutique I went to out of many. The staff was super helpful and so nice! We were able to bring our own champagne, but they also provide some as well. More than any other boutique I visited, Lasting Bridal had the best selection of beautiful and affordable dresses-- I really think I loved every single one! Whoever does the shopping for this boutique does and AMAZING job. The woman who was helping me (I wish I could remember her name) was so patient with me and my WHOLE family and let me try the dresses on over and over and was just so sweet! I really felt special, not rushed, and that nothing was pushed on me. Best experience here for sure! read more

We went to purchase a wedding dress for our daughter on sat Oct 23 and had a wonderful experience! Our family picked out several dresses and the consultant ( a lovely young lady Sorry cant remember her name) picked out the winner. She had a great eye and knowledge of what would look great on our daughter. the store had so many dresses in every price range! we could not have been happier with the service we received! I'll start by saying I didn't buy my dress from here, but I had such a great experience I felt the need to write a review anyway. The salon itself is very cute - open, full of light, and clean. They have a great selection of dresses and the atmosphere is very comfortable for both the bride to be and whatever entourage she brings along. Kristin was my consultant and she was sweet, professional and easy to get along with. I tried on probably 7-10 dresses during my appointment and the only reason I did not purchase my dress here was because I found a dress I liked more at a later appointment/salon. Definitely add this place to your list of shops to visit. read more

I have nothing but effusive praise for this shop! I cannot tell you how many times I had driven past it, not realizing what a gem was tucked away inside of that little strip mall! You truly can't tell what is hiding inside: the cutest bridal shop brimming with taffeta, tulle, satin, and chiffon, some of the prettiest bridal jewelry and accessories I have seen, a rainbow explosion of bridesmaid's dresses, and the friendliest and most helpful staff I have yet to meet. I admit a fair amount of apprehension before going here. I was on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress in a flattering plus-size AND wanted to be able to try the gown on before plunking down a ton of money for it, and having been to both David's Bridal (twice- once in Florida and once in Arlington) and Alfred Angelo (Arlington), I knew what I definitely WASN'T looking for. I had a great experience at AA (see seperate review!), but the Arlington David's Bridal was simply abysmal. I had emailed Lasting Bridal Couture prior to visiting and asked if they had plus-sizes I could try on. They estimated they had about 20 gowns I could check out and actually try on, plus a ton of others that I could look at in smaller sizes. They responded quickly and were friendly and welcoming. I went with another bride, without an appointment, during the early afternoon on a weekday. We were the only brides in the store for nearly our entire visit, and after filling out a questionnaire regarding what we were looking for, off we went with our separate attendants, each with armloads of frocks that sparkled and glittered. Sarah was my attendant and she was an absolute doll! She made me feel so pretty and comfortable, just standing there in my hideous 'bridal' shapewear, and she listened to every complaint I had about my body and really paid attention to what I was saying. I found my dress, my beautiful Maggie Sottero dress, and fell in love with the detail, quality, and fit. If you are a plus-sized bride and are deliberating whether or not it's worth the drive (I drove an hour!), let me say that it is TOTALLY worth a visit before you buy anywhere else. The gowns are not wrapped in plastic, so you can see and feel everything before you even pull them off of the rack. HUGE difference between this and the 'discount' or 'warehouse' bridal stores. I was nearly sold on an Alfred Angelo design, which was over $900, until I walked in here and saw a similarly priced Maggie Sottero (less than $25 difference between the two) that just BLEW that Alfred Angelo to smithereens. Once you see the intricate details of these better gowns, it's nearly impossible to go back to the others. I will gladly never walk into David's again as long as I live. Thanks to Sarah and Lasting Bridal Couture for making my princess dreams a reality. I will soundly recommend them to anyone. ***Edited 09/26/13 to add: I have ONE single issue with my experience here that I wanted to add that has ABSOLUTELY NO REFLECTION on the experience of finding my dress or purchasing it, because those interactions were AWESOME. However, I subsequently needed some alterations made to the dress. These alterations- all of which were very minor, with the exception of the sleeve construction- basically doubled the price of my dress. VERY EXPENSIVE. Also, by the second fitting, it was obvious that some changes needed to be made with the sleeves but the shop made it plain that they thought it was beautiful as-is and I felt their behavior was somewhat dismissive on that last visit. I left feeling VERY confused, with my dress still in need of some work. My biggest complaint here is that the cost of alterations was REALLY HIGH, but I assumed they were the best people to alter the dress since they had a busy shop and likely did this kind of thing all of the time. I was nervous about bringing my expensive dress to just any tailor and wanted to trust that the shop knew best. While the sleeve construction really was beautiful, I do not feel that the cost was reasonable. I did pay it, but I felt as if I had no other good alternative. I did find an AWESOME and capable seamstress ultimately, outside of the shop, that put Lasting's alteration costs TO SHAME. I would absolutely buy a dress here again, but I'm afraid I would alter it elsewhere in a heartbeat. If you can afford it, they do good work but it did feel rushed towards the end of the process, the cost was intimidating, and I needed work done elsewhere to complete it at an affordable price. read more

While this shop came with pretty good reviews, however that isn't the case for me. I visited the boutique with my sister who is getting married next year, and I wanted to see about getting an appointment to come back at a later time so that my sister could sample dresses. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by friendly staff, And the prices appeared to be reasonable. What was the turning point for me was that this was my sisters first time ever looking for a dress for her wedding and was a bit overwhelmed, and since I was in town from the east coast for the weekend, I wanted her to have an idea about what style of dress she might like. I asked the sales person if it were possible that she could try on one dress.. Which didn't require any special instructions to out it on, however the salesperson stated that because they were closing in 20 minutes, she could not accommodate her. No my opinion, I think that my sister would have gone back to make an appointment if she felt like her business was warranted. Im sure others will go to the boutique, but we probably will not go back in the coming weeks. read more

Great selection of dresses! Four stars because my first time in was very crowded and my consultant was a bit preoccupied with other clients (she knew of one the customers personally, so she made her first priority). However, she still did a good job with me. I came back in the second time when the store was empty and got great service and said yes to the dress! :) read more
