I'm a first time bride, my sister and I chose this shop to try on dresses for the first time. We went yesterday, they had one hour and half until closing. I went in excited. Nat greeted us when we walked in and I told her I was having two weddings and needed two wedding dresses. She immediately let me know that the stylist wasnt there. I told her I didn't mind looking on my own and seeing which ones I wanted to try one. I told her what I liked which was a little ruffle on the side, and she told me they didn't have that there if that's what I'm looking for that I need to go somewhere else, she repeated this about five times, while I was looking at dresses for like 10 mins. We did not once talk about budget, after trying to send me away she pointed at the 50% Clearance section telling me more than once to look there because I won't find anything I like in the normal priced ones. She repeatedly mention how she's going to have to stay late since we were there. She then told me I had a limit of four dresses to try on which I understood. I gave her two and she started rushing me into the dressing room telling me that's enough. I managed to grab a third one, while I was grabbing that one she was yelling across the store telling me to follow her. She had a lot of attitude in her tone. There was a total of four people in the shop and two including myself trying on dresses. She was yelling at them as well being impatient and rude. I could hear them in the dressing room next to me asking what her problem was. She ruined the experience for both of us. My sister told her softly and respectfully that she knows she's probably stressed but it was my first time trying on dresses and she was upsetting us and the other people if she can calm down a little, she responded with raising her voice and told my sister she wasn't talking to her and repeated that about three times before running off and grabbing the lady in the back and telling her to help us because she wasn't going to anymore. Raven helped us and was respectful and helpful. As I tried on dresses that I fell in love with she came up to me and said " oh you're trying those one? That's not what you said you wanted". My wife called prior to arrival, to verify that the store would be able to accommodate them before they closed and they agreed that they could. Once they arrived, no greetings from the store associates and while they wanted to try on dresses, the story about helping them changed. It seems as if the store hours of operation should change. My daughter, I and a few family members went dress shopping on November 15. We visited several bridal boutiques in the Dallas-Fort Worth area Including David's bridal and Terry Costa. She finally decided on her gown at David's bridal and we were told we had to pay full price at checkout. In the past family members paid half upfront and half when picked up, but I thought OK and went ahead and paid in full $1425.00. We were told the dress would be in December 13. We received a text saying that the dress was in and we had two weeks to pick it up. After a week went by, we received another text and said we had seven days or it would be returned. We live an hour away and I work Monday through Friday so I only have the weekends to go and it is a busy time right now on top of that. Today, Sunday, December 8 we went in to pick it up and we were handed a $1400 wedding dress in a clear thin plastic wrap!!! Seriously??? I'm glad I didn't send my husband down to pick it up!!! I asked If I could get a wrap to cover it up and they Offered me a $25 wrap or a $5 dollar wrap. Are you kidding me? I spent $1400 in your store and you can't afford a five dollar Cover up for your wedding dresses??? The associate told me I should've been offered one when I checked out and I wasn't. We also asked the policy on picking dresses up as we receive the two text that we had Two weeks to pick it up or it would be returned. She said no as long as it was paid for you had up to three months to pick it up. Why do we keep getting text saying that we had to pick it up? I am very disappointed in your sales associates. We had a more personal one on one with Terry Costa And they package all of their dresses in a professional dress bag. I want to leave a review, even though I didn't buy a dress from here. My son is getting married and I was shopping for a dress for his wedding. Shopping online was very frustrating. I am 5 ft tall and so many formal dresses online do not come in petite sizes. A friend told me about another Dallas Bridal and Formal Wear store, which is very close to this David Bridal. I went to the other store and service was almost nonexistent. And, although it seemed like there were lots of dresses, there really were not! So, I moved on to David's Bridal. Immediately the vibe was different; I felt welcomed and there were so many dresses and styles. Most Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses seem like something my grandmother would wear, and without me saying anything the sales girl who helped me, Amah, knew I wouldn't like those. She was so warm and friendly and helpful. She gathered many dresses for me to try and helped me with trying them on. If it was totally my decision, I would have bought a dress from her that day, but I have my future daughter in law to consider. She liked the dresses I liked at David's, but she loved one that I had tried on at Nordstrom. So, that is why I did not purchase a dress here. I had to buy the Nordstrom dress that the bride wanted. But, I really loved my experience with Amah. This is my second son getting married and I can tell you that shopping for a mother of the groom dress is not fun, but if Amah is the person that helps you, it will be easier. read more

Absolutely enjoyed my experience here today! It was my first time trying on wedding dresses and I was a little nervous. The staff welcomed me and told me although I did not have an appointment that I could try on three dresses. I was assisted by Jo-nathan and Cindy, who were both so kind and fun. They made me feel so comfortable. I loved that they helped just enough and checked on me as well. Even though I didn't have an appointment they still took care of me. The three dresses I tried on really helped me see that the mermaid style is better for my shape and comfort. The ballgown I tried on was super heavy and the a-line was not flattering at all. However, the mermaid was beautiful and such a great fit and the price was amazing as well! I set a day and time for an appointment and I will be back! We purchased my flower girls dress here. It was during COVID and the team was extremely helpful! There were so many things the David's Bridal team couldn't control in terms of dress lead times and what was in stock, but they were super patient and helpful as we proceeded to try on 20 dresses. We had to find something in store in her size to purchase that day due to the quickly approaching wedding date. The Davids Bridal team fit us in for an alterations appointment later that day. When we arrived for alterations they noticed the dress had a snag at the bottom (which we hadn't noticed trying it on). The dress is basically a sample dress so it wasn't anyone's fault. They offered to include a slit in the dress in the alterations for free to eliminate the snag! We worked with several people on their team and everyone was a joy! As a bridesmaid I would not recommend David's bridal especially if you have to order a dress online and will take time to get to you. I ordered a dress and it was recommended to me by the stylist to order a size up (I should not have listened). The dress was ordered from the store as it was not available right away and I waited about a month for the dress to come in. Never got a call that my dress arrived so I called to see when it would be here and that's when they told me oh it's here. Went in to try it on and it was way too big! Ended up purchasing another dress online in the correct size and went to return the original dress that I had to wait over a month for only to find out that the dress was not eligible for a return because it was ordered through the store a month ago and they only allow 7 business days from the time of the order!!! I was not told this when I ordered and went with the stylist recommended size up! Had I known this from the beginning I would have ordered my correct size or even a dress online that shipped in 24hours then I would have been eligible for a full refund. Customer service was HORRIBLE! I called to talk with higher ups to get this issue resolved and absolutely nothing got resolved! So now I'm stuck with a store credit of 180.00 that I am NEVeR going to use! If you're looking for a wedding dress then this is the place for you ( also would you want to buy my store credit from me?? Lol). If you're a bride and asking your bridesmaids to get dresses from here please make sure they are all sized correctly before ordering dresses that can not be refunded, better yet try azazie they are cheaper dresses and you can order multiple dresses to try on and return what doesn't fit! I came in here on a Friday morning with my mom and sister to look at bridal dresses for my wedding next year. I'm from out of town but my family lives in the Dallas area; there were no issues making an appointment, they sent a reminder, and confirmed via text. We arrived right on time and were greeted immediately. The store wasn't crowded at all as we went on a weekday when they opened. We pretty much had a fitting room section all to ourselves, which was awesome. It was a comfortable temperature in the store and there was plenty of seating for my family. As for the trial itself, my associate was Sierra and she was a GEM. She was friendly, patient, helped me get in and out of the dresses, made suggestions, and was just all around pleasant to work with. I never felt rushed or pressured. If I book a follow-up appointment (which is 60 mins instead of 90 according to their website) I would 100% ask for Sierra. read more

The most pathetic and atrocious customer service I have ever heard of. Fiancé orders a dress, pays to have it expedited for delivery. Is there today 6/8/23 at 2:45pm and the supposed brand new dress is broken. The sales manager is pathetic and is only offering to refund money. Not remedy the situation by getting another dress in asap. This sales manager also stated it is against policy to give out the store manager's name and contact and also the district manager's name and contact information. What is against David's Bridal is customer service. My fiancé is literally crying in your store and your heartless sales manager is standing there offering only one alternative - our money back (but can't give our money back today). Just pathetic. I didn't have anyone with me so her insight was helpful and I never felt pressured into anything. Though I won't be getting my dress here, I really would recommend the experience and having a look. I was truly surprised with what I found and hovered over a few dresses for a couple days, but I sinply found another dress I wanted at another place. Set up an appointment and was totally ignored by the lady fitting dresses she was working on someone else during my appointment time and ended up telling me you can go grab other dresses and try them on. My daughter is getting married. I took the time to find a bridal store that could accommodate me when we flew in. I flew in from Chicago, which I have proof of my round-trip ticket to get a call on Saturday to confirm my appointment. I confirm my appointment 20 minutes later they call me back saying they need to cancel because they have no water, and they have find me a different location I've been totally inconvenienced. Had to drive an hour from where we were located at to go to a bridal salon to where the management had no idea that they were sending people over. They had no idea about an emergency water issue. I've called customer service starting at 4 PM to be responded to by 9 PM. They advised me to contact the manager. I called the store several times contacted the manager. She advised me basically there's nothing that she can do. I don't understand how you run an establishment the has been off and my status since 3/2824 with plumbing issues and I understand why would you just cancel someone's appointment saying the water is off when you already experienced this issue? I asked the manager Liz can I please have the district managers number or else to have the district manager call me and she basically said there's nothing that she can do. I would like a callback from the district manager. I don't wanna talk to a texting system and I would like to be compensated for my inconvenience and wonder why you filed bankruptcy because the love of Customer Service has went down into the dumps previous I got several dresses for this level of service is unacceptable and unethical. Your company should be shamed of how you have managers treating customers , not a good experience . thank you for ruining my daughters experience to get a dress we go out of our way. On Saturday, my mom and sister and I came into the store to try on Bridesmaids dresses. While I understand we could have made an appointment, but it was a spur of the moment decision because my family was in town from Kansas. I told the woman that we just wanted to look around at the dresses and try a few on. She was so rude and made it seem like we were inconveniencing her to have walked in without an appointment. The dress itself didn't fit and had some imperfections on the lace. I took the dress back in where Rosa the manager didn't hesitate to order me a new one in the correct size. My baby-- I mean, best friend-- is getting married! /UGLY CRIES. Us bridesmaids went here with her to purchase our bridesmaid dresses! Staff was so welcoming. I was first to arrive and they let me browse around on my own while waiting. Basically the store was split to where the wedding dresses were on the right side from the front entrance and everything else was on the left. I'm not getting married yet, but I did take a small peek at the bridal gowns, which looked elegant and had protective plastic coverings. Appreciated that. A small selection of heels/shoes were displayed front and center, accessories to the left, and we also came across shawls, bridal robes, flower crowns, etc. There were a lot of dress options overall, in an intimate setting, so I can see why David's Bridal is the go-to favorite for wedding needs. And if they didn't have what you wanted, an employee could easily order it in for you, if it's available. Our helper was Holly! The first dress I tried on was my winner: stretch velvet high neck gown with sheer details by City Triangles. It's a long, navy gown with a sexy leg slit. The draping of the fabric was beautiful. Not to mention, it was so comfortable and showed off all the curves of my body. I could also see myself re-wearing it for future formal events. The other gowns I tried on were wonderful as well. Price tag of my item showed $99.95, which I could've lived with because it's for the bestie's wedding day, so why wouldn't I splurge, right? But when I checked out, it was only $43 after tax! Apparently I was lucky enough to snag one on sale. *** I encourage you all to check their website first if you're on a budget! (or simply like to prepare) There are a handful of sale dresses that are cute! If I had known the Vera Wang dresses had some on sale too, I would've browsed through that section longer instead of backing away after seeing their price tags lol. Imagine owning a Vera Wang dress. I would die. She lives up to her reputation. The designs were top-tier. I must go back here one day just to pick up some more formal gowns for my closet. The only thing about David's Bridal is that there are no mirrors in the dressing rooms. I'm very indecisive, so I had to go in and out more times than I would have liked just to have access to a full-length mirror. That was the only downfall. I hope they will consider adding mirrors inside, pretty please. For the selfies too, ofc haha. It's awkward and seems conceited to take pictures of yourself out in the open for others to see. Very happy with my experience at this location; I came in with a whole crew of supporters and everyone was picking out dresses FOR me, but my consultant Diamond made sure I picked out one for myself as well. I ended up finding a dress that looks as though it's worth twice what we paid - seriously so beautiful I cried. Couldn't have been happier with the inventory or service. Now as a petite bride, I was pretty nervous the dress would be wearing me instead of vice versa... but I was lucky enough to be booked with Luz in alterations who absolutely killed it! The dress honestly looks like it was made just for me, and she was so patient and kind throughout the entire process. My wife worked with David's Bridal to get her veil steamed before our wedding and it caused her undue stress. Someone on the phone told her it was a 30-minute process that could be done while she waited. When she arrived with the veil, they acted shocked that someone would have told her that. In fact, not only could they not do it while she waited, but they could not even give her a conclusive time as to when it would be ready. They told her to leave it with them and call the next day for a status update. They didn't give her any sort of drop-off slip, so of course when she called the next day, nobody knew where the veil was or had any record of it getting dropped off. She was transferred around to 3 different people before finally being connected with a manager, who assured us she would personally make sure it was located. Ultimately they found the veil, steamed it, and had it ready for her to pick up in a reasonable amount of time. But for the frustration of dealing with some of their staff, she would have been better off taking it elsewhere. read more

My family and I left this place in tears! -Happy tears! We are all from Louisiana and had unfortunately had a bad experience at a David's Bridal over there. So when they got here, my sister (the bride) was not willing to go to any David's bridals. We had tried many stores and found pretty dresses, but not the "I say yes to the dress" kinda dress. Finally, my mom insisted she gives a David's bridal here a chance. After all, one bad experience at one store in a different state cannot speak for all of the stores. So my sister agreed and we decided to go to the David's bridal on Preston. We showed up without a reservation! (Sorry to be those people) but they added us to their list and after about a 30 minute wait we had someone helping us pick out dresses. So, we were unaware that that also meant we wouldn't get someone to help put on the dresses and such, but we didn't really mind. That is, until we found a dress that we all REALLY loved. It was just a little too small! We were all standing around saying "it just wasn't meant to be" when an employee named Eric found us. "That also comes in..." (starts listing other pretty colors the dress comes in.) We tell him it doesn't fit and he immediately runs off to find us a bigger size! He comes back with the dress and we're all so excited! My sister puts it on and for some reason it still just feels like it's missing something. Eric notices us again and asks what she thinks and she tells him "it fits perfectly" and "it's very pretty", but we're all secretly thinking "it just isn't the one" and we were probably going to leave after she took it off. Without another word Eric walks behind her and grabs this pretty sleeve that goes over the chest and arms like a jacket. We're all like "ehhhh what's he gonna do with that..." and as soon as he slips it on her it transforms the dress. My sisters eyes brightened up and a big smile came on her face. Everyone gasped! Then he picked up a belt, wrapped it around her waist and tied it in a pretty bow in the back. She said that covered the one spot she didn't like! We all clapped and I started crying. Then he grabbed a veil and set it on her head. My mom started crying, my dad was choking up -we were all a mess! We ended up buying the dress that same day and are having all the accessories Eric suggested shipped. Not only did Eric make all of us cry happy tears, but he also changed a lot of people's minds on the David's bridal stores! He really has an eye for this stuff. And he didn't have to do all of that. It was a good enough experience for me to return this year, as my husband and I are preparing to have our marriage blessed in the Catholic Church.
