My sister and I came here for an appointment to get bridesmaids dresses. The owner fit us in and gave us all the attention she would a bride. She had great suggestions for how to make a dress work for us and was able to come up with creative ways to alter the dress to make it more flattering. For example, the dress I chose didn't have straps but she suggested we alter it so that the flowy lace off the shoulder part became straps to hide the top of my arms. The only reason they're not getting four stars is because of my follow up visits and alterations. I felt dismissed and disregarded at the follow up visits, and made me completely doubt the way it looked and fit. Ultimately, I went through with it and had a great time at my sisters wedding which was aided by the fact that I felt good in the dress. read more

There is a lot to unpack here so bear with me! First, the first time I went to Dianes shop she showed up 15 minutes late. Okay no big deal. Next, I ordered my dress in March. Paid the full amount $1700 upfront. I called in JUNE and my dress had not been ordered yet because it got stuck in a "Hold file" Once my dress finally came in I called and scheduled a time to come pick it up. Got there and tried it on and right before leaving Diane informed me that I had a $64 balance for a "special length" charge. She never mentioned the fee or anything until I was getting ready to leave. Why was this $64 fee not added when I paid for the dress in the beginning. ~My suspicions is that this is a rush fee since she didn't order my dress when I paid for it and she's disguising it as a length fee~ Over all, I'm grateful that I was able to find my dress there BUT I would not recommend this shop to anyone. My first review of this place was high praise for Sarah, the lovely sales woman that said all the right things and asked all the right questions. She deserves a five star rating, but every experience since then has been a weight shaming nightmare. When I went back to purchase my dress the woman that zipped me in made a nasty comment about how the dress that was currently fitting perfectly wouldn't fit if I ate a few cheeseburgers. What she didn't do was take my measurements, show me a size chart, or explain to me that the sample I had on was likely a bit stretched out from so many others trying it on. When my dress came in for the first time it wouldn't zip up, the seamstress proceeded to tell me that I needed to lose weight and come back in. She compared me to a prior customer that "lost twenty pounds and looks like a different person now. A wedding is a great motivation to lose weight." She told me she needed an inch and 3/4 to make the dress fit, that she would do the inch and I "need to do the 3/4". Turns out the dress didn't fit because of my undergarments. I was able to zip the dress up no problem three days later without them on. I took the dress over to Boulder Bridal instead and she only took out 1/4 inch on each side of the upper ribs to get the dress to fit perfectly. She was also kind and professional and never once suggested I alter my body for the dress and not the other way around. Be prepared to hear a lot of toxic body talk in this shop from multiple employees. Maci Marie Bridal, women are regularly told to lose weight and change their bodies to fit into things and to look a certain way for society. The last place they want to hear it is when they are trying on their wedding dress for the first time. read more

She didn't rush me and I never felt like I was putting on too many, or taking too long. The dress selection is wonderful. Wide selection without being overwhelming. I ended up purchasing a gown I honestly wouldn't think would have looked good on me but it is incredible! The prices are very reasonable which made me feel more confident going in and pulling dresses knowing I wouldn't fall in love with one above my budget. Before coming to Maci Marie Bridal, I visited 8 other Bridal shops in the area and tried on 32 different dresses. I called the shop and they were able to squeeze me in that day. I tried on a couple dresses, but didn't love anything. I worked with Tracy who sat down with me and asked me questions and looked at dresses online with me. I found a dress online that I absolutely LOVED... but it was nowhere near the state of Colorado. Tracy went above and beyond by contacting the designer, tracking the dress down and then getting a loaner dress shipped to the store for me to try on. She was able to accommodate having the dress shipped in while my mom was in town visiting. The dress is "the one" and it was so special to be able to try it on with my mom there. Dianna (the owner) was also beyond helpful by suggesting a built in corset into my dress that will take the place of the alterations. I am beyond happy with the exceptional service that was provided to me for my special day. read more

I just want to start off by saying that I couldn't be ANY happier with my dress shopping experience! Diane is the absolute sweetest and most informed person about bridal dresses! From the second that I walked in to the second I walked out, I felt very comfortable and that I was in very good hands! The second dress that I tried on ended up being THE ONE (I didn't voice this until the end because I wanted to be sure), but I also tried on several other ones. For every dress that I tried on, Diane would ask me what I liked or did not like about it and then she would explain/show ways that I could make a certain change to the dress or what I could add to the dress to make it more of what I was looking for! I live in Boulder and always dread any trip to Denver due to the insane traffic, so finding a local bridal shop that offers a wide variety of styles was a great experience for me. This was the first shop I went to when trying on wedding dresses, and the owner made me feel comfortable. First of I would like to say the shop person was very rude and unprofessional . She was pushy and demanding about dresses and kept insisting that she didn't have the dress for me with the sleeves I wanted, yet kept pushing me towards other dresses with out sleeves and saying she could sown on nice straps. The dress I tried on and liked was nice but I wanted straps. The lady said she would get them sown on and turns out she only did the snap on and we have to get it sown on properly. Then she proceeds to say we have to get the bottom altered because something about the length. At this point we had already fully paid for the dress and She wasn't really clear about what she meant, she was to busy trying to rush my mother out of the shop with my dress to actually care. She also overly priced her dresses. I went to her because I saw all the good reviews but I guess the experience I got was horrible. I had initially booked 3 different bridal salon appointments, but after my wonderful experience at Maci Marie Bridal, I knew I didn't have to look elsewhere. Anna Hahn is an absolute treasure, and I would recommend her to any bride-to-be on her search for a beautiful gown. I visited the shop with my dad and sister in tow, and Anna made us feel welcome right away. The nice thing about Maci Marie is that it's a small boutique shop, so it's just one appointment at a time. Anna told my sister and me to pull dresses for me to try on, and that she would pull a few when she saw what my preference was. I've never been great at shopping, so I always appreciate the help, and lo and behold, Anna pulled the perfect dress for me. Because I live out of state, I was a little nervous about getting the dress ordered and altered, but Anna was very helpful throughout the process. After leaving that day I decided to call and talk with the manager, Lisa. I felt as a business owner, she should know how my experience went that day. Amazing! Highly recommend! Diane was so welcoming and nice! Our family was all together and so we randomly called around to see if anyone had day-of-openings. Most people made me feel crazy for calling at the last minute. From the minute Diane answered the phone she was great! She had a last minute cancellation and welcomed us in! When we pulled up to the shop, we were a bit hesitant because it seemed small and didn't have a big typical "boutique" look. However once we were inside and met Diane, everything changed! She was amazing! My sister in law tried on multiple dresses and Diane never once made her or us feel rushed. We didn't even realize she stayed open an hour late for us! She did a great job of truly listening to the bride and reading her reactions vs imposing her own opinions or ours. She also spent time showing her various options for taking the dress in, adding jewelry, veils, belts, etc. She told the bride to go home and sleep on it, and come in the next day with a fresh start. She also gave the rest of us great advice to not impose our opinions on the bride overnight, so that she would come back and feel fresh and choose the dress that she loved best. She opened on Sunday, and was great again! My sister in law chose the dress of her dreams and we all left talking nonstop about the dress and the experience! Diane gave us all a hug when we left, and was absolutely and genuinely excited for the bride! She made us feel like family! My sister in law had been hesitant to go look at dresses since it was last minute. In the end, my sister in law was the happiest bride you've ever met, and so much of it had to do with the wonderful experience provided by Diane! read more

By far the worst wedding dress shopping experience I could ever imagine. To start, this location is a "hole in the wall" shop, like a dive bar for wedding gowns. Beautiful gowns ranging from $1200-$3000 go to die in cheap plastic hangers stuffed on top of each other. The location is far from dreamy. To top it off, you'll encounter the finest pushy sales tactics. Don't like anything? Don't worry, they'll force you to. But the creme de la creme, you'll definitely leave feeling body-conscious. After all, the pushy sales tactics don't end at the price tag, it goes on to focussing on how to slenderize or find a designer that makes "bigger" dresses. Don't feel comfortable in the dress, don't worry, they'll make you! Save yourself the agony, go somewhere else so that you can be treated with respect with such an important purchase. Well where do I start?! So the dresses are located in a residence (not a problem) but kind of made it awkward. Myself and my bridesmaids all sat down on the couch where Diane started to set the "rules" as we felt. She stated that there was to be no comments or opinions when I walked out with each dress I tried on. She mentioned that she has been doing this for 20+ years and that it makes it hard for a bride to choose when others are giving their own opinion (not true in my opinion). And that everyone can keep their thoughts to themselves after I am done. Not only that, but I had a certain price range I wanted to stay within. She immediately said " I will not find what I am looking for, for that price" ( also not true, because I found beautiful dresses for the range, just wasn't "THE one".) This was my very first time getting married and trying on dresses with all of my bridesmaids present. My expectation was for all of us girls having fun, laughing and them helping me on what dress would give that WOW factor. Instead here I am trying on dresses quietly and feeling as if this woman would shoot me down with negativity because she acted as if I was a cheap person that didn't want to spend a dime. With every dress I walked out in it was complete silence from the girls. Because Diana set that expectation in place. It was horrible :( My excitement went from OMG today is the day to find my dress to OMG please get me out of here. She made it an awful experience for myself and my bridesmaids unfortunately. We then left there and went to David's Bridal where the experience was out of this world. The representative made it such an enjoyable experience for us all. Not only that, but I ended up tripling my budget because of it. I am the type of person to be respectful and to give others the benefit of the doubt, but this made me want to cry. I had an appointment here when I was looking for a wedding dress, and although I didn't end up getting my dress from this store, I had an extremely wonderful experience. The store is beautiful and clean. Diane and the other girl (whose name I unfortunately can't remember.. I believe it was her first day working there) were both wonderful, and we had both of their full attention for basically the entire appointment, which was amazing. It's a small space, but plenty of options. I tried on a ton of dresses and both women were very good at finding dresses that were both within the style that I was requesting, as well as different styles that looked great on me but I hadn't thought of trying. I felt that they both genuinely wanted me to find a dress that I loved. I liked that the selection was not overwhelming yet there were plenty to choose from in different styles. I could not say enough good things about this boutique! I'll start out with saying I went to a couple of other bridal shops and was not pleased with any of the dresses they carried but at least got the idea of which dress style I loved the most. My mother then did some online research and found a dress that we both LOVED and I needed to try on. There are 9 dress shops in the state of Colorado that carried this line, Mori Lee, and I called every one of them with the style numbers I desired to try on and with zero luck was unable to find my dresses; It wasn't until Niki at Maci Marie called me back and said she had one of the styles I was looking for and it happened to be my favorite one. She answered ALL of my questions about the Mori Lee line (some questions I didn't even ask) and so I quickly setup an appointment to come in. It was when my mother and I came in that Arielle & Diane (the owner) were absolutely wonderful to work with. I tried on the one I came in to look at AND they had picked several others for me to try on as well. It was that day that I said "Yes to the dress!" However, I didn't have any of my bridesmaids with me or my future mother-in-law who I hoped I'd have the opportunity to experience dress shopping with. Diane listened to my concern and setup a second appointment for me to come in and celebrate with them! Arielle & Niki were both there for this appointment and put on their acting hats as if had never been in before. We chose dresses and I did the whole experience all over again showing off different styles of dresses, letting my bridesmaids pick out dresses for me to try, drinking mimosas and eating little pastries (courtesy of my mom). Then, I put on the sample dress of the one I had purchased and surprised my bridesmaids and future mother in law that I had already said yes!!! It was incredible and I am on Cloud 9 with how fun it was. Not to mention my dress is ALREADY here and I was able to try it on in front of them AND surprise my mom (who thought she was in on the only surprise). It was perfect.
