The stylists were super nice, and the place was decently clean. The dresses were just cheap materials and a little dirty for a place that only sells off the rack. They put you and your guests in a sectioned off area (sectioned off by racks of dresses), and there's a very small curtained off section to get dressed in. A lot of the dresses are under $1000, but it wasn't worth the lower quality to me. Most of the dresses felt like a very stiff and heavy chiffon. Not a bad place at all, just not for me. read more

I can't even begin to tell you how much I recommend Baley's Bridal. My experience from start to finish was so memorable. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses. Normally, just trying to find a dress is an ordeal, so I was certain I was not going to find 'the one' at the first location, but I was so wrong. STEPHANIE was my stylist and she called me in advance, got to know me and what my vision was. I never felt rushed or like she was just trying to sell me a dress. I wanted to share our experience and I say this by saying I hate leaving bad reviews to small businesses: My mom , sister and I went to our appointment with Keeley. Wonderful experience at that time. My mom tried on dresses, she doesn't speak great English and even then she felt very happy with her dress. We set a deposit for it to be set aside and we left and decided to pay the rest the day my mom received her alterations. When receiving her alterations, things were a bit different. When we arrived the dress was not in the condition we had seen it. It is dirty. A very used and mishandled dress. There are stains. My mom told the lady taking the sizes about the condition, and she was told to clean it with oxyclean??. We were buying a dress that was supposed to be in good condition.She was told many women have worn it, but we had already set it apart, and it wasn't in that condition when we set it aside. I understand that my mom didn't buy an expensive dress but she was so upset in the condition of the dress. And alterations were going to be more expensive than the dress, which honestly would've been fine if the dress would've been in good condition. Now, I would say it was just me or my mom who don't know anything. But we've taken this same dress to other places and they all say the same thing. Professional seamstress have been saying the same thing; The dress is MISHANDLED and DIRTY. It's been so overused and in such bad condition, we get questioned on how they were allowed to sell something in that condition. This is the very first wedding in our family, we were very excited for my mother. She felt so overlooked and as if her dress was mishandled to the fullest extent. My mom is not a young lady, she understands English but doesn't speak great, and her dress wasn't expensive but she was so excited until she came back and saw the mishandled dress. I don't usually leave reviews or like to comment negatively on any business, but if I could help anyone out before going here that would be good to hear. I wish I could give this place 0 stars -- do NOT recommend. My stylist, EJ, was incredibly pushy and completely disregarded the clear timeline I gave her multiple times. What should have been a fun and memorable appointment turned into a stressful experience. Even my group commented on how uncomfortable her attitude was and how aggressive her sales pitch felt. She ended the appointment by saying -- in front of me -- that another bride wanted to try on the dress I was still deciding on, clearly trying to pressure me into making a rushed decision. It felt less like a supportive stylist and more like a hard-sell situation. Even after I left, the pressure didn't stop. EJ sent me multiple texts that day and afterward, using overly familiar phrases like "Hey girl" and "Hey babe," insisting she had "saved" the dress I was unsure about -- despite me clearly saying I wasn't ready to commit. I've included a screenshot of those messages for context. Instead of giving me space, it felt like I was being sold to even after walking out the door. This experience caused more stress than excitement, and I wouldn't wish that on another bride. If you're looking for a boutique that respects your boundaries and your timeline, this is not the place. It has taken me some time to write this review as my experience was so awful that I no longer wanted to relive it. I live in Houston and drove to this shop once every Saturday from March of 2024 to September 2024 for alterations. Every session, I would agree to alterations to be completed by my next visit by Rushana, the seamstress, and they wouldn't be done. Rushana would claim that it wasn't in the system so she didn't make them. During each session, a different girl would allegedly make the notes in the system (on something similar to an iPad). She interjected so much with unnecessary comments that it wasn't surprising everything wasn't taken down. I made several complaints, and the store manager, Cindy, reached out saying "I'm currently out of the country taking care of my mom for her medical situation. I'll be back in the USA on Sep. 3 and will be in touch with you after Sep. 4." I never heard from her even after reaching out again. On my last visit, I arrived and met with only the seamstress Rushana, who had sewn straps onto my dress that I had not agreed to and charged me $150. At this point, it was September 9th and my alterations weren't complete after months of driving up from Houston. I had Rushana remove the straps and we discussed the accounting needed for a refund and I took my dress. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY REFUND!! I still had to have alterations done by another shop at the last minute which cost even more money for a rushed job. This entire experience was awful and left a bad memory of my engagement experience. Although I had a beautiful wedding, I DIDN'T get to have a bridal shoot and my dress wasn't fitted as it should be due to all the wasted time and money dealing with Rushana and Bailey's Bridal. **DO NOT GO HERE**Where do I begin with this place.. I first must say I very much enjoyed my appointment. I visited first weekend of March 2025. It was fun and my stylist Serena (who no longer works there) was great and made me feel so comfortable. Something other bridal shops just didn't do. I said yes to my beautiful dress and love it very much. During my appointment I made it very clear that I do not live in Dallas and I do not plan on coming back to pick up my dress or get alterations. I was very clear that if I purchased it would need to be shipped to me in my home town. This was something that I was told was no issue and they do it often. Upon paying (IN FULL) I was presented with an invoice that gave the price of the dress and price of shipping and handling. Again prior to paying I confirmed. This is the shipping to me correct? They said yes. Boom done paid and got outta there. During my appointment we also discussed adding glitter to the dress. About a week later Serena text me with samples that the designer could add during production for a cost. I asked for a price and didn't hear back for a few weeks. The next time I talked to the bridal shop I spoke to someone else to told me that designers don't do that and I was given false info. I was also informed the Serena no longer worked for the shop... weird. Then began the 5 week long back and forth of options. I was then referred to the owner Cindy who did in fact inform me that the designer CAN add glitter in production. It took weeks for her to get back to me with samples and prices. When she finally came to me with a price ($250 not bad) she also informed me that THEY HAVENT EVEN ORDERED MY DRESS FROM 6 weeks ago AND that she would be charging me the Tariffs since those were being raised and she expected an additional $150-200 for that. I was fed up. Scratch the glitter I can't believe you haven't ordered my dress. It's now pushed the timeline back further. Dress finally ordered middle of April. Fast forward to end of May I get a text from the shop saying my dress has been delivered to the store and to contact them to schedule pick up and alterations. Queue the 30 minute phone call with the owner Cindy on my confusion of first, Why was it not shipped to my house? Why is everyone clueless about me not coming back to Dallas when I made it clear I wasn't going to. And she tells me that in order for them to send it I have to pay my balance. WHAT BALANCE!? I paid in full. As she tells me that I didn't pay for shipping. When I told her it's on my invoice and her employee advised me that was what I was paying for she simply said "that's the shipping from the manufacturer to our shop, not to your house" and "I can't verify what an employee said to you in person. She doesn't even work here anymore" Cindy would not take responsibility for what her employees advised whether wrong or right she does not care for the customer and will do anything to make the extra buck. I don't recommend this shop it was such a headache. Once they have your money they could care less. read more

The dress selection was fantastic, plenty of plus sizes to choose from and Maureen even brought out a seamstress to help me visualize what the dress would look like with a better fit. They're really good at listening to you, and if you are like me (not great with fashion), they're really good at helping you find what you like. The fittings and alteration appointment went amazing! Veronica was great to work with for alterations, and is willing to work with you on whatever you need. I requested a modesty piece to hide cleavage during the ceremony, and wanted pearls from my mom's dress sewn onto mine, and she did both! We got there and was told no outside beverages unless we paid another $50. UPDATE: I just wanted to follow up on this review and address some miscommunications regarding my dress alterations. When I initially purchased the dress, I informed my stylist I was an out of town bride and asked about the alteration process since I'd have to consider the investment/time it'll take to fly back for this. This was one of the biggest factors I considered when shopping my dress. I was told that I'd have to come in for an alteration appointment 3 months out before my wedding date, which I agreed to considering I had some advance notice to plan and book a flight. It made sense to book an appointment near/during the holiday week since I was planning on visiting then anyways. A few weeks before my appointment, I was told I'd have to come in for 3 separate appointments on different days. This was something I wasn't informed about when I initially purchased the dress. However, if I tried to squeeze 3 appointments 3 days in a row, I'd be charged $100 rush order... but this wasn't even possible because the week I was in town they didn't have enough availability for 3 appointments. Which meant I needed to fly back again for additional appointments, costing more time and money on my part. I wish this had been communicated to me when I bought the dress as I would've had more advance notice to book a longer trip or how to work the appts into my schedule. When I came in for my alteration appointment, they were going to charge me $760 (before tax) to open up the sides of the dress to add more lace, hem the bottom, and lift my shoulder straps. I didn't end up making an upfront payment that day since their internet was down so I was told I could make payment the next day. I was unaware I could go elsewhere, but it made me a bit uneasy because I wasn't expecting this process not only be an additional stressor but also cost me way more $$$ than expected. And after talking with my aunt (she was a seamstress for many years) and a few family members who recently were married, the rate was above average. Honestly this wouldn't have bothered me as much if I hadn't already been told I needed to fly back again for another fitting. Which would add more cost to the dress, and at that rate I would've been able to buy another dress. I ended up going to another tailor who charged me only a quarter of what they quoted me. I can respect that getting it done in-house means "quality" takes priority over anything else, but I think the lack of communication from the shop on this when I purchased the dress is what really frustrated me the most. They went above and beyond to sell me the perfect dress but disregarded details that have made this process more stressful than expected. TLDR; if you're an out of town bride, make sure you have the time and $$$ to travel for multiple alteration appointments. And be sure to keep your options open for alterations. read more

Great dress options and pricing, but you sacrifice service. Service is horrible here. The ladies are all friendly. Cindy is the manager and whom I struggled with the most. I wish they were more up front with all their conditions. They are not fully clear on "the rules". I was told during pick up time for my dress. I can do a fitting to make sure I like it on. So that's what I did...I didn't know I had to check for errors then. I was told I didn't need to make an appointment for pick up. It turns out I did. I also called a day after since I realized a dirt mark was on my dress. I was told by Cindy it was my responsibility after I left the shop. She said just try to clean it at home. She was nice enough to tell me how when I asked. But I was really upset she said do not bring it back to the shop when I asked if I can come in to show her. She said I should have checked when I did the fitting. I told her I was upset that no one mentioned it. The mark was on my back of dress. I didn't notice it until next day since I decided to try it in front of a friend visiting my place. Very poor service here. Where do I begin?! From the moment I walked in they were so accommodating and very helpful. Unlike other bridal stores I went to, I'm glad they gave me my space and their focus was on me. Hailey helped during my entire process, she is AMAZING! I've never been into the whole wedding idea and hardly ever had that "image" of what I wanted my wedding dress to look like. I went in with the idea of wanting sleeves, back covered, slightly loose fitting because of insecurities, but nothing I tried made me fall in love. Then Hailey suggested I try on a dress, I thought it wasn't for me because it didn't cover what I needed to cover, yet, it ended up being the perfect dress. She said if I wasn't comfortable I didn't need to step out and get out of it, but it felt perfect. She made my experience amazing and truly knows how to help her brides out. I simply asked if they cleaned the dresses for free (the train was dingy from the floor) and she was beyond rude. I then go to a different boutique to see THE SAME DRESS for $300 cheaper. She had it marked for $300 over MSRP and still got nasty with me because I didn't want to pay $150 to clean a brand new dress. They acted annoyed with me when I came in for fittings. Thaina was my consultant and she is the sweetest person ever. I went in 3 different times before I decided on my 2 dresses. She let me pull as many dresses as I want. Never felt rushed or pushed into buying anything. She is wonderful and the main reason why I bought my dresses here. So, this would be a 5 star review, EXCEPT that I got my bridesmade dress shipped to me today and it was the WRONG dress. 3 Months ago I went into the store with my Sister-in-law (the bride) and tried on dresses, I chose one that would be comfortable for me at her wedding in July because I will have a newborn baby and was going to need a dress I could nurse in. The employee wrote down the information on her clipboard and then we got dressed, and checked out. Fast forward to today, I get my dress in the mail three weeks before the wedding and it's a different style. I ordered style 21657, they Ordered me 21567. ( Clearly the sales lady could have just transposed the two numbers or the tag was wrong or mislabeled since the numbers are so similar.) When I called to let them know that the dress was wrong I ended up on the phone with Cindy the manager and she blamed me, as a customer, for making the error. She kept saying that because I signed a sales contract that there is nothing they can do, or would do. I kindly asked, Why would I know to check the contract to make sure the style number was correct? I just assumed the employee would have written the number correct since I was in the store with the dress on my body. She then accused me of possibly changing my mind, and that I just want a different dress. She not once owned up to their mistake, asked how that they could make it better or offer me a refund. I have photos of the dresses I tried on, and a photo of the dress I ordered, and the dress I ended up with is none of those dresses. My sister-in-law's wedding is in 3 weeks, and I am stuck with the wrong style dress that I did not order. This dress does not work for me and my needs as a new mom who will be nursing my newborn. After the bride called, they finally offered me a very pitiful $20 dollar refund off my 164.97 dollar purchase as a "courtesy" for me, but refused to offer me a full refund or even half off my purchase. Overall I am just disappointed that they refused to even acknowledge the mistake, and would not just make an effort to make it right. read more

Hmmm so torn. The buying process for my bridesmaid dresses were great. They were very attentive and brought out similar types of dresses and fabrics. Very nice people. The picking up process however was HORRIBLE. We were told the dresses were ready to be picked up and made an appointment. We showed up and was told the dresses were not steamed and no one really helped our group to tell us whether we were suppose to take it out or leave it and have it steamed and inspected. We left after 30-45 min waiting around to see what they wanted us to do with dresses that were not ready for us. I talked to the owner and she made us another appointment to come back in to pick them up. 2nd visit was terrible as well. They did not have us on the schedule. The owner said she would be there the morning our group showed up. Nothing. We were so fed up with the entire process we could not go with them for our alterations. We had 6 bridesmaid dresses and 2 wedding dresses that I'll take elsewhere. Cindy the manager did call to apologize for the experience, but it did not matter at that point. We felt like once they got you to buy their dresses, they really did not care. This business has potential to succeed (they do have beautiful dresses). I went to Baley's Bridal on 3/11/17 alone to try on wedding dresses with a budget in mind of $1000- $1200. To my surprise I found two dress I loved. One around $800 and another that I could buy off the rack at around $600. I came back on 3/12/17 with my future mother-n-law and sister to help make the final decision. We choose the $800 dress. With having a budget of $1000 I could then add a belt and veil. I did so not knowing that I also need alterations, but it was brought to my attention at the time of purchase by Cindy(the manager). I understood that it was something that needed to be done but she assured me based on my measurements and the size I was ordering I wouldn't need much altering and said I could pay for that cost up front. She calculated in front of me on a calculator the cost of the dress plus the cost of the alterations. It's came to $1069. And she billed me showing the dress cost and alterations fee as one line item listed as my dress. Added with the accessories it came to $1511.17. I paid 60% of my cost then: $756.70 with a remaining invoice cost showing $604.47. On 9/29/17 I paid the balance over the phone while driving and was charged $704.47. I did not realize this until I came in for my fitting and was told I never paid a alterations fee which prompted me to then review my receipt. And in reading the "fine print" on my invoice realized it said all cost being paid prior to ordering the dress DID NOT include alterations. When I asked them to tell me how much the dress was marked for on their sales floor because that was the only way to resolve the issue they told me they had sold the sample. I asked if someone had bought my dress around the same time and if they could tell me how much it was sold for. They said yes and that person was charged $800, but that was the sample. While I do understand the $100 misprinted on my original invoice I feel deceived that they did not discuss the error prior to charging me. On top of having me sign the payment I have make over the phone with the $100 difference when I came to try on my dress once it came in and still not discussing it or pointing it out. I obviously feel very slighted about the price being altered and not honored for the alterations that were promised. If I pay for alterations at this point I would be spending $400. I know it should be common sense to read the fine print but I was very naïve in assuming because they were nice they would have good business practices. read more

Maybe I have high expectations, but Baley's wasn't great. I went twice (once to purchase my dress and once to pick it up). The staff was responsive over the phone, but in person they seemed young, inexperienced and lacking in some knowledge. I believe I was urged to purchase a size too large after my measurements. My dress had to be altered so much that a lot of features changed. When I went to pick-up my dress and tried it on, it was SO wrinkly. Again, maybe my expectations are too high, but from an experience perspective I assumed they would have taken the time to steam my unembellished, simple silk gown. The consultant didn't know anything about their veils (which were dirty and damaged - I understand that they're samples but this was almost gross). I asked to consult with someone in alterations who told me that some alterations I had in mind wouldn't be possible. They also wanted to charge me for a nice zippered vinyl/polyester garment bag (not a big deal but just the cherry on top of a bad experience I guess), so I walked out of the store with my dress in a cheap plastic bag. I took my dress elsewhere to be altered (and all of my alterations were possible) and ordered my own garment bag from Amazon! read more

I was planning an elopement so I had to count on the help of the sales person for opinions on purchasing the perfect wedding dress. I don't hate my dress but I don't love it! They were sweet girls but I feel they saw it fit me & took the opp to get rid of it. I feel they were trying to sell it off since it was a floor sample instead of helping to be happy & feel great. The biggest problem & the reason for this review is the alterations & fitting appt's. The alterations were a complete JOKE! It fit worse when I pick it up than when I bought it. There was an embroidered "sample" logo on the outside tulle & no one pointed it out to me. That would've been himiliating had I not seen it for myself. Instead of cutting & resewing the seam the alterations lady folded it over & tacked it with a few stitiches?? It was horrible. The only thing that needed to be brought in was the bodice. It gapped open. She said it was an easy fix. I got the dress back for my fitting appt. Not only did no one help me get into my dress, when I bent over to fix my shoe the eye hook popped open. The alterations lady took a needle & thread & stitiched it while I had it on? I left there & took to another alterations lady. She was horrified with the tackiness of the alterations. Thank God she will be able to redo what was done & have it back to me in time for the wedding! My suggestion would be to take your dress somewhere else for alterations!!! They're great at selling you on a dress, making you feel you look great even if you don't. The follow up appts are a joke & the alterations will leave you disgusted & scratching your head! read more
