Friendly/accommodating staff - they were very understanding when I ran late to my appointment because my previous one ran over. Not pushy sales - I liked my stylist. They let me try on lots of dresses. 2. Browseable racks with a big selection. Racks are extremely well organized and you can pick your first dresses to try. 3. Dressing room - an actual room with a door, felt private. 4. They accept walk-ins 5. Plenty of room if you're bringing a big entourage :) Be aware: 1. Dress cleanliness - Some dresses had visibly dirty hems. Something to look out for since what you try is what you buy. 2. Sticking to budget - If your budget isn't flexible, you might want to emphasize that. A few dresses my stylist pulled exceeded my budget, and my favorite dress was almost double my budget (an honest mistake, I think). To their credit, the manager lowered the price as much as she could. 3. Prices - The pricing seemed higher compared to other off-the-rack stores I visited BUT they also seemed more able to offer below the tag price. My top two dresses had a significant amount knocked off at the end of the appointment. The lighting is very bright/fluorescent and seating is simple plastic chairs. Not what I would call a cozy atmosphere - more minimalistic - but spacious and you could easily see the details on the dresses. I recommend checking them out for the friendly stylists and big selection of affordable dresses!

When I showed up today every staff member was upbeat and so so friendly, taking a personal interest in my style preferences and overall vision for my special day. Their selection was spectacular, and with the time crunch for my wedding date and my limited budget (at or below $1,600 pre-alteration) I did NOT. ONCE. feel like I was wanting for options. Being a plus size bride, I had been told, would come with a need to "adjust my expectations" when it came time to find a dress. Not here. Not with these women. Today was such a beautiful experience, surrounded by my friends and family, and finding my DREAM dress. But even with finding my dress (huuuuge sigh of relief y'all) I know that even if I hadn't, I wouldn't have left the shop feeling any different than I do now about the experience shopping with them. The stylists were super nice, and the place was decently clean. The dresses were just cheap…read morematerials and a little dirty for a place that only sells off the rack. They put you and your guests in a sectioned off area (sectioned off by racks of dresses), and there's a very small curtained off section to get dressed in. A lot of the dresses are under $1000, but it wasn't worth the lower quality to me. Most of the dresses felt like a very stiff and heavy chiffon. Not a bad place at all, just not for me.

My wife and I started planning our wedding with the Stardust team in 2019 with our wedding originally scheduled for 2020. COVID happened and so it got pushed out to 2021. This meant that we worked closely with the Stardust team for 2 whole years, and they kept us organized (but most importantly calm) throughout the entire process. Laura was our Lead planner, and she is highly efficient, communicative, organized, basically everything you'd want in a wedding planner. She answered all of our questions throughout all kinds of odd hours and helped us bring the wedding vision we had in our mind to reality. So seeing everything they had to offer was quite a surprise to me! The event ran from 12-5pm and consisted of a bunch of different wedding vendors that come and advertise their services. There was also a wedding dress fashion show that showcased different styles of wedding dresses made by a certain wedding dress store (I don't remember the name, it was run by a mother-daughter-duo). The wedding vendors consisted of cake catering services (sign up for complimentary cake tastings! And free cake samples!).. different venues like Hilton and Marriott.. Dress companies... wedding photographers with beautifully bound albums and portraits that display their work.. makeup and hair artists.. Rent-a-lounge companies... fitness camp trainers advertising a 6 week get-into-shape-for-your-dress-program for only $69.. Photo booth companies (my favorite part!) that let you try out their different photobooths (extra useful since some photobooths had more pros/cons than others, such as picture quality, or photo countdown was way too fast, etc)... Those companies that let you host makeup-beauty product- sex toy demonstrations at your home for bachelorette parties... So many different types of wedding vendors that you'd find useful for your wedding! Also, free stuff!!!!! Free stuff at every booth, and also there was a giveaway at the end of the fashion show! Gave away $50, $200, $500, $2000 gift cards/certificates to different venues... So if you're getting married, definitely come check out this bridal show for your different bridal needs!
