I said yes to the dress!!! It was a little difficult to schedule an initial appointment since it was during their October sample sale. I submitted the bridal appointment inquiry form, and didn't hear from them. The phone line was also very busy during business hours. After multiple attempts, I was able to secure an appointment slot. The rest was smooth sailing. Miranda was an awesome bridal consultant. She attentively listened to me describe my dream dress, then helped me shop around. It was easy to pick my first favorite dress to try on, which happened to be the final dress I said yes to. I managed to try on a total of six different dresses. Miranda was fantastic at clipping the dresses to get all the right body shape/angle. I didn't realize that it's best to shop for your dress early. By early, I mean at least six months out. Once I selected my dress, the designer receives the order to make my dress, and subsequently ship it. My dress was supposed to arrive six weeks before the wedding day, but it didn't arrive till four weeks till the special day. Luckily, the dress fitted perfectly, and it only took one alteration session to get the bust, bustle, and hemming just right. There is a wide variety and we were given time to look at everything. The stylist that helped us had great ideas and was so helpful. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Langs bridal . They didn't have the dress style I wanted on the rack when I met with them, but I was able to try it on elsewhere and still brought my business back here . I had them order the gown for me because their customer service and excitement with me was unlike any of the other boutiques I shopped at. The last few weeks leading up to my wedding I had a lot of big life things happening, and not in a good way. The women here truly embraced me and helped keep the positive energy for me through every alterations visit . They TRULY made my gown my own. It's not some communal, stale, white room with a box to stand on and a bunch of mirrors in front of strangers. It has charm and personality, it's private and you feel special! My stylist was sweet and MOST importantly she listened to what I WANTED in MY PERFECT WEDDING DRESS. She made me feel comfortable along with my family and friends. My sister-in-law, cousin-in-law, and 3 friends accompanied me at my dress appointment. There were glasses for the mimosas in a pitcher. Which made it more fun for us and there was good energy in the room. Honestly I came in with zero expectations, and to simply enjoy the experience. Since most individuals say they have to go to more than one boutique to find "the one". I tried on seven different gowns, and the first 3 were my favorite. Loved that they had options other than the traditional gowns. I LOVED the wedding dresses. Most of the dresses I tried on fit with your curves and your body shape, the stylist will find the right silhouette for you . I'm 5'3" and she was able find a dress that helped extend my short torso. She hit everything I asked for in a dress! The sheer sexiness of the mesh and the plunging neckline that was still tasteful,the flower beading which matches my wedding theme. The light breathable fabric for the tropical weather. The perfect ivory color and train length for the destination wedding. I was shocked. I found my wedding dress with one appointment, one designer, and in one day. It was between the first 3 dresses I initially tried on too. I was at ease, they never made me feel rushed during the entire purchasing process, and let me take my time. But I am a decisive person and I knew this was it - so I took the plunge! I came here as a recommendation from my best friend since she also purchased her gown here. I pulled a bunch of different dresses because I wasn't sure what I wanted since I had a beach wedding. One of the girls there asked me not to, but only because she knew I would get more confused. I tried on a few, but quickly fell in love with the one. Teresa insisted I get the extra 3'' hem because I'm 5'1 and we thought the dress would be too long. I received the dress about 3 weeks earlier than expected. Came in to try it on and found out her recommendation was on point! The dress fit perfectly (except the boobs, but that's my own imperfection). Teresa did the minor alterations herself and had it ready within a week. I felt like she was really helping me pick my dress, not only sell a dress. Ladies if you are hunting a wedding dress you have to go to Lang's. I know everyone has there own experiences and let me say my first time going to look was an awful experience At 2 other places and I was so discouraged and honestly worried. So I did more research and found LANGS also shocked it was close to home. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH!! I didn't make appointment just because I didn't want the pressure I just wanted to look as I was so scared it would be like my appointments at other places, So when I went in it was just my mom and me not even my bridal party. From the first hello to my quick story of what and why these ladies scooped me up and made me so welcome and calm and they even told me they where going to help appointment or not even when I said I didn't mind coming back. They felt awful for my experience and even when I almost started to cry they where so patient, kind, and they made this a wonderful time. I so wish my girls would have been with me but Marisa was SO SUPER good to me and took time no rushing pushy or worried she was gonna sell me anything. So for me it's worth a trip and they have some ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL well priced dresses. And all the way to the purchasing and honest approach to alterations they didn't make me worried I was not gonna be able to get it all done or ordered in time just calm and simple no pushy sales or treatment as I was just another dress. thought i found my dress and made a comeback appt. when i called to tell them i was in a wreck and my car was totaled they charged me $100 fee. I work as a bridal stylist at another shop and we would NEVER charge a fee for something like that. This business is shady and a lot of the dresses are overpriced. I was able to find my dress at another salon for $1,000 less. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone. keep looking. The customer service here is excellent! The young lady who helped me was willing to listen and was able to find the dress that I was looking for. I didn't know exactly what I was wanting; however, she was patient and helped me through the tough decisions. She also knew Spanish, which helped when talking to family members! The quality of the dresses is great in comparison to other places I went to before. My experience here was amazing! Definitely recommend! They are a bit pricy but worth it!! Another thing I really enjoyed was the set up. Although the store layout is very open, it was very private and personal as well! WOW, I don't even know where to begin !! As soon as my bridal party and I walked in we were greeted and felt so welcomed . I didn't even know where to look because this place is so BEAUTIFUL . It's a girls dream come true when shopping for her wedding dress. I had arrived about 30 mins early to my appointment and they went ahead and took us to our suite . We were even asked if we wanted Mimosas which we so happy about ( we had just came from a different bridal store and not even water was offered to us). Yuli, my bridal consultant was an angel . She listened to what I wanted and showed me around so that I could see what types of dresses they had . Not once did I feel pressured or rushed . I went in to this appointment with the mindset that I was just going to see what liked (I had already really liked a dress from the other store) . Let me tell you I was really wrong !! I tried on the first one and I was in LOVE !!!!! Yuli was so kind to explain to me all the details and even let me walk around the store in it when I said YES to the dress. What I really appreciate the most about Yuli was her true compassion , patience and the ability to translate everything she said to me to my family who didn't speak English . I loved how dainty and soft some of the styles were and it's even better that this place is so close to home! Lang's Bridal was my fourth and final bridal shop to visit in my search for the perfect wedding dress. The consultants let me pick out an unlimited number of dresses to try on, which I did not find was always the case at the other places. The dresses were organized by style, which made my OCD personality so happy. The stylist was not pushy at all. She made sure she knew my vision up front and reminded me of it with each dress I tried on to make sure my favorites aligned with what I said I wanted. She was patient with me and pinned each of the dresses like a pro. Something else that Lang's Bridal had that no other place did was a light dimmer. I never thought to try on my dress in the low lighting of the reception, but they did! It was a perspective other places did not provide. Overall, the fact that Lang's had a TON more dress options than the other places just for me to browse and not stored in the back on top of their stellar customer service made this the perfect place to say yes!! Highly recommend this place to any new brides out there! Service here was great! The staffs here are very helpful and honest when you ask about their opinion on the dresses. Also, it was kind of hard working with me since I came in so many times and tried on so many of their dresses, but the girl who helped me was so kind and patient with me. My sister (who is also getting married soon) came in with me to try on wedding dresses as well, and the same girl helped us out so much. We asked to try on a lot of dresses, and each time our helper was so patient. She also helped pick out some of my sister's dresses for her. Beautiful wedding gowns for you Arlington brides :D I didn't feel like driving far to search for wedding dresses so I decided to stop by a local favorite among Vietnamese brides. I wasn't disappointed. I was a little nervous at first but once I slipped into the right dress (yay for dress #3) and all my fears melted away. Lang's shop isn't the largest or the most glamorous shop but they definitely have a nice selection of dresses for a reasonable price. You can easily find a freaking gorgeous dress for under 2k. I would encourage you to call ahead for an appointment because they can get quite busy and to order your dress at least 8 months in advance so you have time for alterations. read more

I found a great dress here that I ordered in February. When I called in June to ask when I could pick it up, I was told that it would in by July. It needed to be altered, but I was told to wait until about a month before the wedding. I called all day yesterday to make an appointment for alterations, but no one answered the phone....all day long. I left a message and no one returned my call. That was more than 24 hours ago. I went to this shop and just was not impressed. First of all, I got the impression that the lady that was helping me was either ready to get off or just was not really wanting to be bothered..idk what the issue was but I did not make a big deal about her enthusiasm. So, I found some dresses I wanted to try..she tells me that I cannot fit into any of those dresses bc of my bust size and brings back sz 20 and 22..I am a 12-14 so they were huge. When I tried them on they of course looked huge and were not flattering in the least bit. The lady helping me tells me to imagine what they look like once they were my size, however, considering how big they were-that was not possible. I walked out feeling a tad discouraged and no longer enthusiastic about trying anymore dresses anywhere else. I forgot to mention that I was hot and incredibly sweaty and it was halfway through my appt. before the lady helping me offered me some cold water.
