I loved my dress, They met my expectations and helped me with whatever I needed, They were also very kind and adjusted to my budget

It took me a while to decide to write this review because I hoped I would eventually move past my experience, but every time I think about my Dina Hawidi wedding dress, it brings up negative feelings. I'm sharing this so other brides can make an informed decision and avoid a similar experience. I flew across the country with family for a 90-minute appointment, which required a significant investment of time and money. 90 minutes was the only appointment time offered, and extending it required booking and paying for a second appointment. Since they do not take appointments on Sundays and mine was scheduled for a Saturday, that was not an option. The staff selected a few dresses for me to try, none of which I liked. There was one specific dress I traveled there to see, and when I tried it on, I wasn't completely sold. One of the employees (not Dina) said, "Well what is it that you want then?" in a way that felt dismissive. I had only tried on five dresses total, yet I felt pressured to make a decision due to the limited time and the staff appearing visibly frustrated. The shop advertises itself as a customizable dress studio, but based on my experience, the only customization offered was the shape of the neckline. During try-ons, I was asked to stand on a platform, which made the dress appear to be the correct length. In reality, the final dress was much too long, requiring an additional $1,000 in alterations. The sample dresses I tried on had a more modest neckline, which is what I wanted. However, when I picked up my finished dress, the neckline was significantly lower and could not be corrected. This affected many of my wedding photos, and throughout my wedding day I felt uncomfortable and was constantly adjusting a very heavy dress. During checkout, the next appointment arrived and the employee completing my purchase rushed through the process and provided minimal explanation. Only one measurement was taken (shoulder to waist), which I later realized should have raised concerns. At the time, everything felt very rushed, and I did not recognize this until after paying the deposit. In total, I spent approximately $10,000 on the dress and subsequent alterations, and I was extremely unhappy with both the final result and the overall experience. Based on the way this business is presented on Instagram and TikTok, my expectations were very different. I recommend other brides carefully consider their options and choose a place where they feel fully supported and valued throughout the process. read more

BREATHTAKING GOWNS!!! And honestly the prices are very reasonable for couture dresses that are made-to-order!! Neda and Luciana were super kind, friendly, and welcoming. My sister traveled across states to get a gown here and hers came out so beautiful that she recommended I come as well -- and I'm very happy I did! Barely any stores have the same high-quality of dresses and the ones that do are double the price. You know that saying, always the Bridesmaid never the Bride. Well, that applies to me. Lol! My friend is getting married so, she chose this place. I didn't know this place existed! I didn't know it was Couture either! So, when we walked in I expected them to be a snob and a half. Lol. That's the last thing she was. She was a friendly, helpful and had pretty makeup on. The studio is fairly large. There was pretty bride to be in the studio when she came out from behind the curtain it was like a scene from a movie. As a hijabi, finding a wedding dress was a struggle until finding Dina's! The entire place is gorgeous & filled with an extensive variety of beautiful dresses. You will be SURE to find at least one dress (if not all of the dresses you try on) perfectly designed for you! The two staff members Nada and Lusiana were so hospitable and kind-- they truly went above and beyond to find the best dresses for my sister and I. They also offered refreshments, amazing cookies, and bewilderingly were able to lug those heavy dresses in and out of the dressing room both swiftly and with ease. This was by far the best wedding dress experience I could've asked for-- everything was like a dream! Definitely worth the stop in your shopping trip! I rarely ever write negative reviews, but my experience here was so unacceptable that I feel the need to warn others. After countless trips and over a year of waiting, I was left devastated. I spent more than $20,000 between travel and the dress itself, only to receive something that was nothing like what I ordered. The lace, fabric, cut, color, beading, and even the seams were completely off. The gown that was promised as couture looked cheap, poorly made, and unrecognizable from the original design we agreed upon. To make matters worse, when I sought answers, the staff were dismissive, rude, and unbothered. At one point, I was even told, "I don't know what happened" and asked to just wait. That kind of response is unacceptable, especially after the investment of time, money, and trust I put into this process. This was supposed to be one of the most meaningful purchases of my life, and instead it turned into a complete disaster. The lack of accountability and professionalism made the experience even more painful. I am sharing this so others don't go through what I went through. Please think twice before trusting this business -- what I experienced felt deceptive, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing. read more

I had my appointment this past Saturday. I was incredibly nervous since I had never tried on any kind of dresses. My two stylists were Lucy and Nada; they were super welcoming since the start! They understood that I wanted to see different options that might suit me and they offered me a lot of recommendations. One thing I really appreciated was their consideration with my budget. We recently traveled to Dallas all the way from San Diego just so my fiancée could try on her custom wedding dress by Dina Hawidi, and I couldn't be happier with this decision. I haven't gotten to see the dress yet myself, but her face as well as her mother and sister's faces said it all. My fiancée is not usually a big crier, but she was overrun with emotion, even well after the appointment. I'll see her starring at her phone, crying as if something is wrong, and she's just looking at pictures of her wedding dress. Dina and her team are worth every penny, and although I'm never planning on getting married again, I will always suggest Bridal Concepts as an option to anyone who asks. They were professional, but still personal and comforting. They were forthright, and understanding. And despite having a custom dress made from scratch, from a different state, they were still reasonably priced! I flew from San Diego to Texas for the greatest bridal gown appointment EVER! There are not enough words to express how amazing this bridal boutique truly is and Dina is an absolute angel. From the beginning of the process, every person that assisted me was awesome, so nice and helpful. My consultation with Dina was very professional. She took her time making sure she knew all of the specifications that I wanted for my custom gown and she was very patient with me giving her the rundown of my dress journey til that point and also my lack of knowledge for bridal lingo. By the end of the call, I felt like I was hanging up with a friend. All of my anxieties about not ending up with a gown that gives me butterflies melted away. The excitement that she had about the dress was something I hadn't experienced in my dress search so far and I had a great feeling about my decision. Upon finishing up our consultation and choosing to move forward, I was told to wait for the 3D illustration of my dream dress. The day that I received my illustration my heart skipped a beat and I knew I was in the best hands I could have found. Every detail that I had asked for was incorporated, it was perfection! I received fabric samples, all of which were absolutely beautiful, and chose my hearts desire. All of the yes's were in and from there it was all a waiting game. Dina and her crew kept in contact during the process and were quick to respond to me any time that I reached out. That was extremely appreciated for a bride to be that was full of anticipation. I got the green light that my dress was ready and eagerly booked my flight to Texas. The day of my dress reveal finally came and when I got to the shop they were setting my dress up. My fiancé flew my grandma, mom and sisters out for the reveal and they got a flat tire on the way to the shop! Dina and her assistant were so understanding and patient as they allowed me to hold of on the special moment. They made sure we bad drinks and were comfortable out of the heat. The shop is stunning! Never I'm my life have a seen such gorgeous dresses, my heart was fluttering 10 fold, all over again! Once my family finally arrived safely, Dina gave them a minute to settle in and it was time to see her masterpiece! And the dress was that and so much more. A true dream dress! I was immediately brought to tears. My hands were shaking. In the famous words of Eminem, it had my knees weak, arms were heavy! But I was not nervous! I was ecstatic! I couldn't believe what stood before me, the prettiest dress I have ever seen. It fit like a glove, I felt like a queen and didn't want to take it off. I want to be buried in it! I should mention that I had a custom black ballgown made and it exceeded my expectations. It's not easy to find a black dress especially of such a grand nature but Dina made it happen for me. She told me that she can do any color as well as the typical white/ivory/cream/blush colors that you usually find. But again, even the more standard colored dresses are so much more spectacular then what you find at other bridal boutiques. I couldn't be happier with my decision to order from Bridal Concept, and I will forever recommend Dina and her crew to anyone looking for a wedding dress. I am going to start reviewing my vendors as I go and update each one as time goes on.One upsetting thing to me so far as a bride in Los Angeles is the lack of price transparency so in each review I will put the prices along with if the vendor was willing to be upfront with prices. I am a long distance customer. At first the process was going very smoothly but then through the bridal app there were a few snags but then Dina, the owner herself took over and got everything squared away and I really appreciate that. She is open to all brides, LGBTQIA+ friendly and welcoming. She's super professional and works really hard. My fiancé and I both got dresses from her, one very sleek silky one and a big, modest ballgown one for myself which I opted for being fully customized as I want a lot of neck and sleeve detailing. They were very upfront with pricing. My dress total with tax for a custom was $10,852.06. That includes a cathedral veil for $890 and headpiece for $485. My fiancés dress was $6,983.12. I did look into going overseas for similar style dresses and Dina's are either comparable or less and without the hassle of traveling out of country. When you have many brides buying from her that live here in LA- a city that should have everything- that really tells you all you need to know about how unique and difficult to find- her style dresses are. The lowest price dress was was shown was $3,895 but again, I'm doing like extravagant ballgown so I was only being shown, what I assume to be, moderately priced to above average price based on this particular store. Dina is working on my custom dress drawings right now, it's a very exciting process and I'll keep you updated. But end goal of my reviews- price transparency for this company- 10 out of 10. I will update with photos in the VERY far future as my wedding isn't until the end of 2023. read more
