I came to meet Tommy and Suzanne and we talked about colors, flowers, and theme that I liked. I showed some pictures of some inspiration and I wanted it to mostly be white, with a hint of blue and some gold for our theme. Very classy, timeless, not too crazy. Everything came out beautifully! When we came for a peak and to set up some stuff for our dessert table I was already surprised and my bridesmaids loved everything as well. If you know me, you know I'm a perfectionist. When it comes to a service I am paying for, I have very high expectations. Well, let me tell you about Dream Weddings.. They are worth every penny, and some! I can't begin to explain how amazing Tommy and Suzanne are, but I will try. I'm sure many brides have heard of their company by now (but may not know all the wonderful details of why they are worth booking) and if you haven't, you must be living under a rock. I am a very simple bride, I did not want anything glamorous. I wanted something unique, still beautiful and an outdoor theme but indoors. When I first met them I could already tell we would be great friends. They are so approachable and accommodating. They make you feel like you are their only bride, we all know that is not true, but you would never know because they are so prompt with returning phone calls and texts. They also go out of their way to text you with ideas and suggestions. We meet several times prior to the final meeting before the wedding. We even began our relationship before the wedding. They provided the usual rental items for the traditional Vietnamese engagement ceremony. They are so easy to work with and try their hardest to make things easy for you. Being a bride is supposed to be a fun, relaxing joyous time, but in reality we all know it can be quite stressful especially when you are planning a 500 guest wedding like I was. Having dream weddings cut that stress down more than half. Traditionally, brides have several different vendors that will take care of linens, chair rentals, drapes, lighting, etc.. Dream weddings are so good at what they do they are practically a one stop shop without losing any quality all the while saving you the hassle. The vision in my mind was so detailed and not to knock on anything they had done because it was all so beautiful (that is why I chose to go with them) but what I wanted was something they had never done before, something I had never even seen before. It was many different things from here and there. But with the genius of Tommy and his Vision, I knew If I told him what I wanted and trusted him, I would be happy. At first I was a little sticker shocked but Suzanne did all in their power to work with my budget and even threw in a few extra things to make my day prefect. Something Dream Weddings didn't have to do but it meant so much to my husband and I. We felt the love and love them both back so much. Tommy and Suzanne do all in their power to make your day perfect and truly want your day stress free. They really want you to have a beautiful day. I can't explain how I felt upon seeing the reception decor for the first time. When I had my first look at the reception hall I was almost in tears. It was the most beautiful wedding I had ever seen. I couldn't believe it was my wedding! The vision I had in my mind of outdoor brought indoor was not only executed it was exceeded. Dream Weddings is truly amazing in so many ways! My vision for the wedding (colors and theme) changed so much from the beginning of the process to the wedding day, but they were so patient and worked with me every step of the way to make sure they understood what I wanted while staying within budget. We looked at all of my wedding Pinterest boards together, and they helped me develop a theme that incorporated many of the design elements that I loved and worked hard to bring those ideas to life: I even made two major design changes the week before the wedding, and they went out of their way to make it work (and did so fabulously!) Suzanne kept me informed and made sure I was comfortable with any changes to the budget, while Tommy is very creative and detail oriented when it comes to design - they took the time to source the perfect color and fabric for my custom backdrop, bought beautiful geometric decor that matched my theme, and even incorporated my custom wedding crest on their complimentary guest menus. They were always accessible through text/phone calls, and were also very accommodating of our limited availability for in person meetings since my groom and I were constantly traveling and out of town during the planning process. I was totally blown away when Tommy led me into our reception room for the grand reveal - it was totally unrecognizable (in a good way!) because they had so completely transformed it into the Pinterest-worthy wedding venue of my dreams. We had a gorgeous floral arch as well as a floral chandelier, and our guests couldn't stop taking pictures of all of it and quite a few were even fighting over who got to take flowers home at the end of the night. I couldn't believe how amazing all of their designs were and was super eager to have them design my wedding. My husband and I actually live in Chicago and were planning to get married in Texas, so we were looking for someone to design and decorate everything for us. We knew that we had a limited amount of time and resources to plan our wedding and wanted to minimize the amount of help from our family (especially since we lived afar), so we looked towards Dream Weddings to help us. Getting in touch with them was super simple and fast. I just submitted my wedding info on their website and Suzanne reached out to me to meet in person within a few days. They actually met me when I was on random trip to visit my family after one of their events. Tommy and Suzanne are the dynamic duo of this team. As you have probably already read from other reviews, Suzanne is the main business manager and Tommy is the designer. Suzanne is very organized. I remember she would always take tons of notes during each of our meetings, ask super detailed questions and was very thorough with everything she did. Suzanne is a sweetheart; she's really kind and patient. Tommy is the creative mind behind Dream Weddings. If you ever watch Tommy, he's constantly thinking about something. He has a surplus amount of ideas and designs to create your dream wedding. When I first met with him, I wasn't really sure how I wanted to design my wedding, but Tommy was able to create my dream wedding design based upon a few simple questions. He elevated my ideal wedding to a different level that I could have never possibly imagined. He truly is creative genius. Please don't be afraid of contacting Dream Weddings for you wedding! They are very willing to work with any budget! Also keep in mind of what they will do for you. They completely transformed the first room of Thanh Thanh Restaurant for my wedding. They created a small entrance way into the room (where the hostess stand originally was), completely draped the entire wall of the restaurant and created a sweetheart table for the bride and the groom. They created our bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnières and all the flower designs we had for our wedding. They also delivered and picked up centerpieces that we used for the church ceremony to the restaurant. They were our lighting, florist, designers and drapery - all in one. At the very end of the day, they also cleaned up everything for us too, which is one less thing to worry about after your full wedding day. I can't express how much Tommy and Suzanne made our wedding day amazing! They did so much for us! They were constantly checking in on me since the day that we met - asking me if I needed anything and updating me on the decoration process. They kept my wedding stress level to an ultimate low because I was able to let go and completely trust them with my wedding. They took care of everything for us and also provided small things for us that we didn't have last minute. Everyone loved our wedding design. This team was such a pleasure to work with as they went above and beyond to make one of the most important days of my life feel MAGICAL and BREATHTAKING. They transformed a blank room of white walls into what became the most romantic and breathtaking place to hold a wedding ceremony. When I first met up with one of the creative designers, I had so many ideas that it became difficult for me to convey what I had envisioned for my day. After a few hours of brainstorming, I was told to entrust that they would be able to conceptualize my vision and that it would become a reality and they certainly did not disappoint. The draping and up lights that were hung completely transformed the room. My ceremony aisle was lined with nearly 100 floating candles in multi sized vases with scattered rose petals. I felt like a princess as my father walked me down the aisle. Dream Weddings did an amazing job with our reception decorations. They arranged tables, setup our table settings, set the lighting, decorated our sweetheart table and cake table, and hung massive white curtains on the wall to frame everything. The space looked beautiful! It was elegant with nice amount of color and touches of decorations. The lighting and curtains enhanced the space and it wasn't too dark either. Walking into our reception space was truly dreamy. They figured out how to maximize space for our guests and dance floor, which was quite a feat considering we had 200 guests in one ballroom at The Pearl. They were also able to coordinate several boutonnieres for our bridal party and match them with the other floral arrangements they and our florist provided. We also had an idea for a backdrop featuring our color palette, which they fleshed out with us. When our painted canvas backdrop arrived, they set it up for us and matched a floral arrangement to it. Things changed several times during the course of our engagement, but Suzanne and Tommy were able to accommodate us. On the day of our reception, Suzanne and Tommy worked quickly to set things up and break things down for us. They were easy to coordinate with, and were always pleasant. Dream Wedding made my wedding the most romantic and magical night of my life! From my beautiful breath taking entrance to my eye catching head table and gorgeous extravagant cake table! It was definitely jaw droppingly gorgeous...
