Eventually, I concluded that I truly did not want the dress. I called the boutique again and was told that it was almost closing time and no one was available to speak with me at that moment. I was assured that someone would get back to me the following day. However, I never received a call back, so I reached out to them again to ask for an update. I was informed that they had been busy with other customers and would call me by the end of the day. I felt like I wasn't treated as a priority. Then, I was told that the designer would not be back until Monday, and they would have to contact me after that. Three days went by without any communication, so I called again. This time, I was told they had called me and left a voicemail, but I did not have any missed calls or voicemails. I was informed that it was too late to cancel the dress due to it being in production. Now, I find myself without a dress and $1,400 out of pocket. The owner mentioned that I had signed the receipt, which stated that there were no refunds or exchanges. I was told by other bridal shops that the production of the dress could be stopped since my wedding is so far out and I would need to pay a restocking fee.
