First, very unhappy lady - not very customer friendly. On Saturday, 4/16/22, I brought her two dresses for minor alterations that I need for a May 7th wedding. It was as approx 15 minutes in the store for her to pin the hem (very quick which I was grateful for). Her charge was going to be over $180.00 and I agreed to pay at time of pickup. I was concerned that the earliest she could complete the alterations was 3 weeks away, but I accepted. Over night, I decided on something different so my daughter went back to N Tailor today, Monday, 4/18/22, to pickup my two dresses. Went in today to get a boy's wedding outfit tailored. All we needed was the pants and sleeves hemmed by May 1. Was greeted with immediate attitude from the lady working there. Was told that she could do the pants, but that she would "try" to get the sleeves done as well because it was prom season. We asked several times if the sleeves would get done or not, but could not get a straight answer from her. After discussing we decided to go somewhere else that would be able to do both items in time for the wedding and give us an actual realistic answer. My fiance went back inside to get the clothing and she told him we wasted her time and literally ACCOSTED him to grab the clothes out of his hands just to get the two little pins out. I was shocked at her behavior. How are you going to tell someone that you "might get to it"? I get being busy, but that's when you should just say "no I'm not able to complete this in time" to avoid confusion. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I had a baby 3 months ago. I came in knowing my bridesmaids dress is too tight on my body. All I needed her to do was make it shorter for me. I put the dress on and walked out. And she said I really think you should get a different dress. This dress is too tight. She didn't say it once. Came here for the first time to get a zipper replaced on a skirt. They did a great job and put in a nice quality zipper. I was afraid the skirt might fit tighter after the new zipper was installed but that was not the case and I was happy with the finished product. I don't recall how much I paid but it didn't seem unreasonable. The person who helped me was very nice as well. Nice little place in Rockwall to get tailoring done. It's a bit busy for such a small shop. Three people came in while I was in there for 2 minutes. I got a pair of dress pants hemmed. She pinned them in a few seconds and I was out! In and out in about 120 seconds. It's a good idea to call ahead and make sure they are open. For the first few weeks in Nov of 2017 they were closed (Yelp said they were open). Anyway, it seemed quick and easy. I only need my suits and pants tailored, but she also does bridal and dresses whatever that means (I'm a dude, I know nothing about women's clothes) The reason I didn't give 5/5 is because there was no same day service offered. The last Tailor did my pants in 15 mins (2 pair) for $36. I would recommend giving her a try! read more

Nancy was a life saver yesterday when I brought her a last second, same day alteration request just a few hours before close! Even though she was very busy with homecoming alterations, she saw the desperation in my eyes and took my order! She told me to pick up at 7... I got so caught up in other tasks, that I totally forgot... and then saw 3 missed calls from her at 7:20pm.. Feeling so bad and rude for asking, I pleaded with her to wait just 10 more minutes for me to come by. She did!!! She kindly stayed open 30 minutes late just for me. My husband needed the piece, a Naval dress uniform, for a board he has this morning, so without Nancy, he would have been in total trouble. She told me she usually doesn't call on late pick ups, but since it was a uniform, she went the extra mile to contact me. Bless her! Apart from her kindness, the uniform looks beautiful.
