Time after time, I have brought items to this business for assistance. And I'm always reminded why I don't return. For a simple zipper repair; that did not necessarily need replacing. The owner stated it will take weeks. What ? I know, I know...I could have done it myself, but I support local businesses. I am also loyal to businesses that work with you to resolve issue. Do not make the trip to this tailor, it is not worth the frustration. read more

I've had many suits and slacks tailored, always a very good experience and the quality is first rate.

She is amazing at tailoring clothes. She seems to specialize in formal dresses and works wonders with them. I've taken all kinds of work suits here and other things and I'm always very happy with the results. She is very popular and busy so be sure you leave enough time between needing your item for her to complete the work. read more

Nancy is fantastic! I'm a first time customer and because of her politeness and great customer service...I'll be back. I needed a suit altered and she did a wonderful job at a very fair price. If you need alterations done, go see Nancy. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. came in to get a dress tailored and immediately was met with no welcome, no questions or anything. lady stared at us with no customer appreciation whatsoever, the lady told me that she had to check her calendar which was blank btw. i asked her how much for a small shortening on a single layer dress and she charged me 120$. walked out immediately. not coming back thanks to her. read more

First, very unhappy lady - not very customer friendly. On Saturday, 4/16/22, I brought her two dresses for minor alterations that I need for a May 7th wedding. It was as approx 15 minutes in the store for her to pin the hem (very quick which I was grateful for). Her charge was going to be over $180.00 and I agreed to pay at time of pickup. I was concerned that the earliest she could complete the alterations was 3 weeks away, but I accepted. Over night, I decided on something different so my daughter went back to N Tailor today, Monday, 4/18/22, to pickup my two dresses. The lady was angry and asked, "So my time was free, huh?" so my daughter paid her $10.00. That's fair. I would have used her for future alterations but I think I'll look for a happy tailor read more

N Tailor - Pic of N-Tailor Shop, Rockwall, Tx - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Rockwall, Texas

Went in today to get a boy's wedding outfit tailored. All we needed was the pants and sleeves hemmed by May 1. Was greeted with immediate attitude from the lady working there. Was told that she could do the pants, but that she would "try" to get the sleeves done as well because it was prom season. We asked several times if the sleeves would get done or not, but could not get a straight answer from her. After discussing we decided to go somewhere else that would be able to do both items in time for the wedding and give us an actual realistic answer. My fiance went back inside to get the clothing and she told him we wasted her time and literally ACCOSTED him to grab the clothes out of his hands just to get the two little pins out. I was shocked at her behavior. How are you going to tell someone that you "might get to it"? I get being busy, but that's when you should just say "no I'm not able to complete this in time" to avoid confusion. read more

Very friendly! I got my dress late for a wedding I'm in and she was able to agree to get it done for me rushed during homecoming week! ( a busy time for her) I was in and out in 15 minutes. Highly recommend! read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I had a baby 3 months ago. I came in knowing my bridesmaids dress is too tight on my body. All I needed her to do was make it shorter for me. I put the dress on and walked out. And she said I really think you should get a different dress. This dress is too tight. She didn't say it once. She said it about 3 different times that it was too tight. So I put my clothes on and we walked out. Cried the whole way home. read more

Did an excellent job on tailoring a blazer of mine. Solid work all around. The work was done in a very timely manner, and was top notch

Absolutely amazing job!! Nancy was kind enough to take on wedding dress to alter that would have needed 8 weeks of work minimum and did it in 5 weeks so I could have my dress looking perfect for my big day. Her attention to detail is incredible! I will never use another tailor! She took my already stunning dress and transformed it into something magical! read more

Don't go here. They charged $32 to remove a pocket from the inside of a jacket. Probably took 5 minutes to do. Will never come to this place again. read more

I recently moved to the Rockwall area and needed to find somewhere to have alterations done to my dress since I was maid of honor for one of my best friends weddings. I went to the closest place I could find, N Tailor, and she did a PERFECT job. My dress fit amazing and I looked gorgeous in the wedding (not as gorgeous as the bride of course ). Thank you! read more

Very friendly and reliable. Still can't believe that waist and hens for 2 pair of slacks costs way over $100. But it is what it is and the work was done right. read more

Nancy is the best tailor not only in Rockwall, but in most of the places I've been in DFW. I sell luxury menswear, and in that light, I occasionally need to have things altered to make sure the fit is perfect. Nancy is the only one I trust with my client's (and my own) garments. She's replaced shirt collars with pristine accuracy, altered jacket sleeves with such detail that there's no record of her ever being there. I recently picked up a suit and it is amazing how perfect her seams and stitches are. If you're looking for a tailor that you can trust, gets the job done quickly, and is affordable, you need not look any further than Nancy and N Tailor. I know I don't. She's simply the best. read more

Came here for the first time to get a zipper replaced on a skirt. They did a great job and put in a nice quality zipper. I was afraid the skirt might fit tighter after the new zipper was installed but that was not the case and I was happy with the finished product. I don't recall how much I paid but it didn't seem unreasonable. The person who helped me was very nice as well. I'll definitely go back there for any future alterations - and especially after just now reading all the glowing reviews. Seems like a no-brainer. read more

Nancy is AMAZING! -- She absolutely saved my wedding dress! I had taken my dress to be hemmed at another tailor and got back a completely butchered MESS. I was convinced it was beyond repair when I found reviews for Nancy and N Tailor online and decided to see if she could help me. She WAS able to fix my dress in just enough time and it looks beautiful!!!!! She is an amazing tailor and I have since brought all of my alterations to her (Groom's jacket, Mother-of-the-Bride & Bridesmaids dresses). I HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing adjustments bring them to Nancy. She does a professional job and is very friendly! read more

This was our first time using N Tailor. Nancy was very personable and did a great job on the dress trousers for my husband. Adjusted waist band and created cuffs. Perfect! Prices are competitive. Highly recommend. She is our tailor from now on. read more

Nancy is the only person I go to! She's always on time, really knowledgeable about the nuances of how to work with various fabrics, and very professional. I've taken her dresses, suits, and everything in between - never received anything but great, on time work product. I'll be back! read more

Nice little place in Rockwall to get tailoring done. It's a bit busy for such a small shop. Three people came in while I was in there for 2 minutes. I got a pair of dress pants hemmed. She pinned them in a few seconds and I was out! In and out in about 120 seconds. It's a good idea to call ahead and make sure they are open. For the first few weeks in Nov of 2017 they were closed (Yelp said they were open). Anyway, it seemed quick and easy. I only need my suits and pants tailored, but she also does bridal and dresses whatever that means (I'm a dude, I know nothing about women's clothes) The reason I didn't give 5/5 is because there was no same day service offered. The last Tailor did my pants in 15 mins (2 pair) for $36. I would recommend giving her a try! read more

Nancy was a life saver yesterday when I brought her a last second, same day alteration request just a few hours before close! Even though she was very busy with homecoming alterations, she saw the desperation in my eyes and took my order! She told me to pick up at 7... I got so caught up in other tasks, that I totally forgot... and then saw 3 missed calls from her at 7:20pm.. Feeling so bad and rude for asking, I pleaded with her to wait just 10 more minutes for me to come by. She did!!! She kindly stayed open 30 minutes late just for me. My husband needed the piece, a Naval dress uniform, for a board he has this morning, so without Nancy, he would have been in total trouble. She told me she usually doesn't call on late pick ups, but since it was a uniform, she went the extra mile to contact me. Bless her! Apart from her kindness, the uniform looks beautiful. The patch is perfectly sewn on, and my husband will look like a million bucks! Need a tailor? Go to N Tailor every time, she will help you! read more

I've been here a couple of times, and the first time I was in desperate need of a tailor. I had gotten a last minute interview for a school, and needed to alter my skirt and blazer. Nancy was sweet and quick to help despite the last minute alterations needed. Not only did she finish it in a few days notice, she did a great job! My skirt and blazer fit perfectly :) ~ read more

She is good at what she does, but I brought her 2 polos to get tailored in and it cost me $60. I could have ordered new shirts for $20 a piece. read more

Nancy is probably the most talented tailor I have ever met in DFW. I needed a suit jacket/pants fitted urgently for an interview. Not only did she do amazing work but also went out of her way to make sure mine was done on time. I also got the position and have no doubt her skills played a role. She's very personable/courteous/professional and I would definitely highly recommended her to anyone!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place - Nancy is absolutely amazing! I brought in a size 12 wedding dress and she completely exceeded my expectations by bringing it down to a size 4. I asked for several alterations and changes to the dress and she flawlessly executed EVERY single one of them. Her attention to detail and intricate workmanship really showed through. This dress alteration was truly a work of art and I am beyond excited to wear it on my wedding day. 12/10 would recommend this place to anyone with alterations big or small! read more

Nancy is AMAZING!! I had a wedding to go to and another place had agreed to alter my dress within a week. We'll they called me two days before the wedding and canceled on me because it was prom season. I was freaking out and found Nancy on yelp and she had the best reviews by FAR so I went to her praying she could help me. She was so nice and professional, I was in and out within five minutes and she assured me she would have it done in two days. I wasn't even worried about trying it on when I picked my dress up because I could tell she was going to do an amazing job. It was so perfectly stitched I couldn't find a single flaw in her work! I've always been afraid of getting clothes altered but I will be coming here from now on. Very reasonably priced and dependable, I would suggest her over anyone in the Rockwall or Dallas area! read more

Great service, turn around time, and cost! We will be going back and recommending to our friends.

Nancy at N Tailor is an outstanding seamstress. Not only are her prices very affordable but the quality of work is amazing. I brought her two pairs of pants to be hemmed the day before I needed them for an interview. Because it was prom season, she initially told me she would only be able to finish one by the next day. You can imagine my surprise when I went to the store the next day and both pairs of pants were finished. She goes out of her way to make her customers happy. I have since brought her multiple bridesmaids dresses and have been so impressed each time. She is the best tailor is Rockwall, hands down! read more
