They had my daughter's wedding dress for 5 weeks. The alterations done were not correct. I had to take it to another tailor to be fixed.

They were absolutely awful!! I took my wedding dress there and I never should have! They had my dress for 4 weeks and did nothing by the pick up date 18 days before my wedding. They said they would have it ready 8 days before my wedding. I go to pick it up and it doesn't fit! They did not fix it correctly. The lady that does the tailoring did not care and was helping 10 other customers how did not need wedding dresses fixed and told me that it was fine. The lady did not try to fix it at all! She was not apologetic at all. I am so sad, I get married in 8 days and don't know what to do. read more

I took a nice suit dress and a pair of suit pants that both needed to be taken in which is usually a pretty straight forward fix. The way the dress was taken in only at the chest left this big puckered area that jutted out right after where it was tailored. I pointed that out and she said she would do it again. I went back several days later and it's the same issue just lower. I pointed it out again and she argued with me about what I asked for. I will just take it elsewhere to fix. The suit pants were just ok but have a similar issue where it juts out a bit after where it was taken in, the extra fabric was left in which creates bulk, and she didn't reattach the tag. read more

This place is absolutely the best not only are they extremely nice but they also price really well. I have been quite a few times now and will continue to be a loyal customer. One instance in particular, that absolutely blew me away, was when I dropped off a pair of pants I needed hemmed. I dropped them off and they told me they'd be ready in a week. Coincidentally I accidentally dropped my card in the parking lot on the way out. They called me to let me know someone had brought it in and they'd hold it for me. I was just happy someone brought it and they were nice enough to call me to tell me they had it. I went back to pick it up about an hour after I'd dropped the pants off; they handed me my card AND my finished pants. They were already finished hemming my pants in ONE HOUR. I mean if that isn't wonderful customer service I'm not sure what is. I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could! read more

I brought an outfit here to get hemmed. I found this place on Yelp and it had really good reviews and was close to where I live. I was greeted immediately and the gentleman helped get the exact length that I wanted. There wasn't anyone else in the store at the time so it took about 10 minutes to complete. I did notice the back was packed full of completed and pending alterations. They had quite a few people working. I was expecting to have to wait over a week to the outfit completed but they were able to get it done in four days (including the weekend). The cost was only $12. I tried it on at the store and they had done a really great job. For the time and price it was worth it! I have a couple other items that I need done so I will be bringing them back to this location!! read more

Read the reviews and rushed my wedding dress over to get hemmed after David's Bridal had it for a month. A week before my wedding and I need alterations and they saved the day! I just knew they were going to charge me an arm and a leg but to my surprise they were shockingly reasonable. They only reason I won't give 5 stars is because they were very short and condescending when I asked questions. I asked the lady if the hook and eye closure would hold up and she made a comment about my "size". Needed patches sewn onto a leather vest, they did it while I waited! Took no time at all. Second time, brought in 2 vests for friends left on Friday out by Tuesday. Dropped off my wedding dress a month ago. Came to pick it up and they had not even started on it. They told me to come back later today... which made me nervous. I told them not to rush and I'll pick it up in 2 days. Will update review once I receive my dress. Edit- when I went to pick up my dress it was still not tight enough around my waist. Went back a total of about 5 times to fix numerous things just to be unsatisfied. When they took in my dress on the sides they just folded the fabric over so it bulged out.. they also told me that my dress has too many layers to bring it up a couple inches. I still need a few things fixed but I will be taking it somewhere else. read more

He asked me specific questions about each pair of pants to make sure I'd be statsified with the finished product. I tend to tailor many of my clothes to fit well and always in search of a really good, well priced tailor. After seeing a positive review of Diamond's Alterations, I tried them and was really impressed with the quality of work they did. I was shocked that the price was so LOW on the work they did as well! My second alteration was a repair on a Black Saga mink coat, which was in need of EIGHT different repairs where the pelt needed restitching. $25 later, (an amazingly low price) I will ALWAYS take my clothing to Diamond's. Diamond's Alterations far exceeded my expectations. I needed a swimsuit to be altered so that it doesn't expose so much of my behind. They suggested a solution and I was happy with it. I also brought in a dress that needed the arm holes closed up a little so it wouldn't show my body through the arm holes (they are not really sleeves... hard to describe). While I was dressing to put on the dress to be measured, the button on my shirt, which I wore into the shop, broke. I had a number of other errands to do, so I asked them if they would replace the button. I waited with the dress on for them to replace the button. I thought they would have to replace all the buttons so that the buttons would match. The buttons were quite thin and had the appearance of mother of pearl. I would have had to look long and hard for an exact match. Amazingly enough, they had the exact button in their shop!! I couldn't believe it! The button was replaced while I waited and they all match! When paying for their service, they asked me when I wanted to pick up the swimsuit and dress. I was leaving town on Wednesday so I suggested the following week because I didn't expect they could do all the work in 1 day. They told me to come back the following day! I was VERY happy about that! When I went back, everything was done! And done beautifully! They met my expectations once by fixing my shirt while I waited and exceeded my expectations three times with one transaction: matching button, next day pick up and they only charged me $12 for everything!
