I needed an extreme altercation done on a wedding suit outfit as a groomsmen. Although it was kind of pricey, the owner was fair and explained to me how to save money but not doing the unnecessary altercations such as lowering the suit size. The outcome of the outfit was pretty good. Although I wish it was a bit smaller, I saved about 50 or 70 bucks by taking his recommendation to just lower the arms. I have used them for 10 years from sewing on high school jacket patches, to wedding dress alterations, to hemming curtains. My husband took his suits and a few pants to get hemmed. They were very personable and quick; he needed about 4 suits hemmed and the turn around was about a week! Very impressed! They also added something to the waist part of his suits so he could adjust as needed; I love touches like that. They didn't try to up sell him to get more work done and even told him which jackets he shouldn't bother hemming for xyz reasons. We appreciated the honesty as jackets aren't cheap to hem! I brought in a few dresses I wanted hemmed to my knees and it was so reasonable and of course, done quickly! Quality and service was everything I wanted and a bag of chips. I was looking for a place to alter my wedding dress, as I was having a smaller wedding in a shorter amount of time. My mom had mentioned Classic Tailor and had told me she brought her and my dad's stuff here often. Obviously, I was a little nervous because I wanted some specific things (I wanted the floor length dress tailored to a hi-lo and straps added), and it's my WEDDING dress. I went in with my mom - Al was very professional and asked all the right questions. I explained to him that I would be wearing my cowboy boots with my dress, and I wanted the hi-lo to display them. He provided a couple of great options and suggestions. He also confirmed he could use the extra fabric off the bottom for the straps, so it could match my dress. I went in Feb2020, and he had the alterations completed by end of Mar2020 (very timely)! The results were high quality and simply gorgeous! The price was also much cheaper for wedding gown alterations which can be $250+. I would highly recommend! read more
