There was plenty of natural light so I could really see the dress. They don't use pedestals, which I prefer because a dress looks totally different without the extra 6-8 inches of height! It's truly unbelievable. You can't even walk into a store to see what they have. I've spent hours at multiple bridal shop appointments, only to leave disappointed. As a busy mother, it's frustrating to make an appointment, only to find they don't have anything I'm interested in trying on. It's super discouraging for those of us with limited time. If you're busy like me, this is not the place for you. I'd also like to mention that the lady with purple hair who addressed me said, "You can't be in here," without any greeting or courtesy. The correct way to handle the situation would have have been "Hello, ma'am, we're happy you came into our store, but this is a closed showroom. Could we schedule an appointment for you?" It seems that Lovely Bride sells enough dresses that they don't feel the need to treat potential clients with respect. They should really focus on training their employees on how to properly interact with customers. read more

I'm getting married in 2022 and we weren't even going to try on dresses in Dallas until my mom and I thought it would be fun. I had a couple other appointments and had been to some places in CA so dress shopping wasn't new to me. I hadn't found the one or even really one that I even considered for our Maui wedding. I booked an appointment with Lovely in Dallas and I cannot tell you how wonderful this experience was for me. Claire was my stylist and I just felt like she really listened to me. You know? I'd seen a few other stylist and I just felt like they didn't really care about the styles I had tried on and didn't like and kept bringing me things that didn't make me feel confident even though I communicated my dislikes. She didn't care about the clock and was an absolute saint bringing me every style that I threw her way. She brought me me champagne as soon as we sat down and didn't awkwardly force questions like some stylist do. I felt like she genuinely cared about the experience for me AND they were playing music that I liked in the dressing room which made it so much more relaxing and fun. She was the one that brought me the dress of my dreams. I put it on and literally started crying. That specific dress I got isn't even on the website so I never would've know it existed. I had such an amazing dress-shopping experience with my stylist, Sarah, at Lovely Bride! I had a packed house with my mom, sister, future MIL and future sister-in-law, but we were accommodated so well and given refreshments the second we entered the store. Sarah did a great job of letting me try on dresses I put on my wish list, but also pulled a few she thought I would look good in, one of which ended up being my dress. I got to put on different veils, take all the pictures I wanted, and play with accessories or bouquets in front of the mirror. My family wanted to go to lunch after my appointment, but Sarah texted me that I could come back and try it on once more since she had an appointment cancellation, so we came back and bought the dress right then! I had an appointment with Brooke at Lovely Bride. I went to 6 shops and this was by far my favorite experience and was everything I thought that wedding dress shopping would be (at least from what I've seen in the movies and on TV). With COVID, all of the other shops either weren't with me in the room to help me into the dress or wouldn't even touch me to tighten the dress, but Brooke did all of those things. We also got some champagne during our visit which none of the other shops provided, and it even had glitter in it! Dreamy! While I didn't end up getting my dress from Lovely due to my budget constraints, I would've definitely purchased from here if I had more time before my wedding and was able to attend a trunk show and avoid rush fees. Brooke also provided a 10% military discount which NONE of the other shops provided. I would recommend this place for sure. It was super clean and chic and I loved the privacy. The shop was so clean and beautiful inside. I was very indecisive on the dress. I had emailed the shop on a day that they were closed and didn't expect to hear back until the next day. Going into Lovely Bride I was a bit nervous, since I am a curvier women (size 14). I came with my mom and we were immediately greeted and the whole team was so sweet! I spoke to the sales associate about where I was getting married, my budget and what I wanted. I will say that when you start looking at the dresses it can get overwhelming, there are so many styles and designers, but the sales associate definitely helps and she never picked anything out of my budget. I believe I tried on six dresses and I found the dress there - which surprised my mom because I am the most indecisive person ever! I was hesitant at first but only because I had made other appointments that charge if you cancel, the sales associates are kind enough to take that fee for you if you find the one at their boutique. I recently picked my dress up and it looks SO amazing on me and I know I made the right choice. :) The Lovely Bride team was so sweet to me and mom and I'm so happy with my purchase. I visited this place back in August. This spot was my last spot of an all day wedding dress search. I tried a lot of dresses on and none of them had a wow factor that I was looking for. By the time I got to Lovely Bride I have to admit I was over it and wasn't expecting to find anything. Brooke was the one helping me and she was awesome and very helpful and extremely patient. The option of wedding gowns they had were really on trend and gorgeous. I happened to choose the very last dress I tried on that day. The whole process went smoothly and I was able to get a percentage off of the whole total because I paid in full. They even gave me a complimentary bottle of champagne when I left to celebrate with my sister and friend who was there with me. I GOT A RASH FROM THIS STORE!! DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS FROM HERE. A few months ago I purchased a dress off the rack from here. After leaving the shop I noticed a raised rash on my back that was really itchy and very uncomfortable. I didn't immediately suspect it was the dress until I tried it on a few days later and I got it AGAIN. When I contacted the shop the owner, Tory, was extremely rude about the situation and was dodging our phone calls forcing me to leave work and go in. When I got there, she didn't even bother to come out and talk to me, she sent over a salesperson who said there was nothing that could be done. When I said that wasn't gonna work (distraught and crying) she offered me store credit...that may work if I knew what the rash was from, but I didn't. So why would I wanna chance getting it again? Who knows if it's the fabric or something in the store itself? My mom purchased this dress on her credit card so we then tried to dispute it and they even denied that. What a way to start off the "happiest day of my life", right? Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else. Now I have to buy another dress thanks to The Lovely Bride and it's terrible management. They are clearly just in it for the money and do not care about the customer themselves. What I've learned about them is they have no problem taking your money and selling you on how it's the "most important purchase of your wedding", but if something goes wrong they have a "mean girl" response. They even had their friends go under my review on Facebook and call me "catty" for leaving them a bad review. If you don't want bad feedback, don't give bad customer service. Look for yourselves how the owner, Tory replied to this review that the dress didn't give me the rash, when it most certainly did. See how much she cares about you? Yeah, not at all.
