Both the owner Renee, and the bridal assistant Erika were absolutely the sweetest to work with while my best friend shopped for her wedding gown today. Renee was off and on helping us, and clearly had a very intimate knowledge of her stock - and Erika was so sweet and so patient. They both answered every question we had (and we had a lot) with grace and sincerity. The negative reviews of this place are just people being too self absorbed to follow very obviously posted rules of a private business. This was the first place we went to and we found her "yes" dress. The selection is so varied you are sure to find any style you want, and at a great price , too! I wasn't sure what I was walking into visiting a consignment boutique rather than a normal dress shop and I was very pleased! I bought a beautiful Madeline Gardner by Morilee dress here. It was $500 and I am so glad I was able to find it here - I think it's one of a kind, a sample that was never released. Photos below! They have certain rules in place where they do not allow you to take photos in their dresses as some are one of a kind samples, and the employees are kind of required (?) to help you into the dress to make sure the dresses don't break or anything. I was stuck between two and couldn't find a pic of the second one, so I had to go back a second time the same day and try them both back on. A little inconvenient, but worth it in the end. They WILL let you hold a dress but it's like $100 so I just made a quick decision, which honestly helped with my indecisiveness! If you're reading this, ignore all the childish 1-star reviews! They have their rules listed on the door before you even walk in and even remind you once you are greeted at the door. If you get upset for not being able to take pictures, you should really be upset at yourself for being immature. You cannot expect the royal treatment AND getting a good deal on a wedding dress, and if you do, please be more realistic. Bargain shopping and being "bougie" is just unrealistic. Right when I walked in, Esmerelda greeted me. She was able to judge my size by just looking at me and I was surprised. I was able to try on as many as I wanted and in the beginning I was a bit shy to undress in front of a stranger but by the 3rd dress, I was already comfortable with sweet Esmerelda! She gave me suggestions on how to alter the dress and held it in places to help accentuate my curves and yes, she was honest about my boob and butt! For being young, she knew her dresses and what she was talking about. I went on a Saturday and luckily was the first one in because they got busy quickly. The lady working here is awesome, she will give you the sincere advice and will helped you out as much as she can, based on your budget. I got my wedding dress and the veil with less than $400. I'm giving this place 5 stars because I am so thankful it exists! I was able to get my gorgeous Sophia Tolli wedding dress for $650 which felt like a steal after going to wedding boutiques that were charging more than double that price. I was able to get a dress that was not worn before, but was just sold directly to AY from another wedding dress boutique. But they do have dresses that have been worn before as well. Fair warning, going from wedding boutiques to this place is night and day. You won't get that special treatment, nor a spacious private area to really look at yourself in the dress. There are 3 small/standard fitting rooms and one of the employees at the store will help get you into your dress once you've picked some out. I'd go early or not on weekends if possible, but I went on a Saturday morning and it did not feel too crowded. I went by myself on a whim, but I'd definitely try and go with a friend or two since they do not let you take pictures of the dresses in the store. Once you buy, they give you the dress in a garment bag and you walk out the door with it. I didn't have to get crazy alterations, just a hem and bustle and I was good to go! Seriously check this place out you can save a lot in your wedding costs and be so happy with the dress you find. It definitely won't feel as glamorous when you're looking for your dress (seriously you'll be digging through tightly packed dresses for awhile) or trying it on but it's worth it! read more

My daughter and I ordered a custom wedding gown for her after trying on numerous dresses. The seamstress's husband had an aortic dissection and she was unable to finish the dress and this was 3 weeks before the wedding. On a panic shopping trip, we went to T**** C**** first. Big mistake. Saleslady was rude and the dresses were cheap looking. My daughter mentioned a resale store she wanted to try so we mapped it and took off. We felt so welcomed when we walked in the door. Went to try on wedding dresses and as someone who isn't necessarily big but isn't small either (12-16) the lady said that a mermaid/trumpet dress wouldn't work on me because I was bigger. Today, my mom, cousin and I went in to find my wedding dress. I went in without any idea of style/size/etc. The two girls behind the counter immediately made us feel like old friends and showed us the rack of dresses to choose from. They did a great job coordinating which dresses to try on and were INCREDIBLY PATIENT with me (I tried and retried so many dresses on with their help). We ended up finding the dress in about an hour and at a great price!! It was actually a brand new dress from another bridal store that had closed. My coworker recommended AY when I asked her where her daughter found her gorgeous dress. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I took one reviewer's advice and got there when the place opened, which was great because there are A LOT of dresses to look through and only two ladies to help you get in and out of the dresses. Here's what to expect: find 3+ dresses at a time to try on and then one of the ladies will help you get in and out of it--trust me, it's necessary. There's no way I would have been able to get those gowns on by myself. I found three dresses and picked out one that I loved and got an amazing deal on. Yes it's been worn and the dress will have some very minor imperfections, but you can't beat $199 plus tax for a dress that originally retailed for $1,950. The dress is so much more than I expected it would be, in excellent condition, and it does need to be altered (it's a size too big), but AY has a recommended seamstress that they have been working with for over 30 years and I'll be checking in with her in the next few months. If you are in the 8-10 size range, there are a ton of dresses to look through--I'm pretty sure I flipped through well over 100 of them in my search. Many of the dresses are upscale designers and, when I inquired about how often they obtain new gowns, one of the ladies told me that they receive new stock all of the time. Prices range from $99 to $2,000 so there is something for everyone here. If you don't mind spending the time to look through the gowns and getting an upper body workout (the dresses are packed together kind of tightly), then I would recommend this place over and over. I found a gown that I never would have been able to afford brand new, it's beautiful, and I look forward to wearing it on my special day. Please keep in mind that this is a consignment shop and while the majority of their merchandise is bridal gowns, this is not a bridal shop. If you're looking for that experience, find a bridal boutique resaler instead. read more

I will now recommend this store to every bride I know. The staff and owner were very friendly and the dress selection was huge. The prices range from $99 (they have a whole $99 dress section) to over $1500 depending on your style and what is available. I had a budget of $500, tried on over 10 dresses and loved every single one of them. I did end up narrowing it down just based on alterations needed for each one and the styles. My dress still had the original tag on it for $1600 and I got it for $499! They do have to help you in and out of each dress but person helping me was awesome, and was totally ok with me trying on a dress more than once. ***Please note, they do not allow you to take pictures of the dresses or of yourself in the dresses due to legal reasons, which is totally understandable. Thanks Yelp reviewers once again for finding me a great place! I came with some friends to look for a wedding dress and we saw this place on Yelp. We showed up right when they opened at 10am one Saturday. The store is small but packed with lots of beautiful wedding gowns, all organized by size and some lower budget ones by price. Make sure to bring some friends with you so they can help you grab the best of the selections. Once you have your choices, one of the nice shop ladies helps you try on each and every one of them to ensure you don't damage their dresses but it also helps you figure out how to get in and out of each gown efficiently. They don't allow photos to be taken in the store since they consign the dresses from a couple local bridal boutiques or something but at prices this low when most of their dresses were also NEW, I wasn't complaining over this policy at all. I ended up with a beautiful dress, within my price range, new, never worn, original price was about $1k and I got it for $199! :) They also had lots of accessories to go with the dress on the wedding day but we only came in to find the dress. And a few months later, I just uploaded pics of my wedding dress, isn't it beautiful!? :) read more

I went in to look at the wedding dresses, not really planning to buy anything. I didn't know what styles I liked or even know my size. Let me tell you, Tami is incredible. She knew my size just by looking at me and after I browsed for a bit and not sure what I liked she pulled 3 dresses that she thought would look good. I fell absolutely head over heels with the second one I put on- I didn't even want to try on more, it was so gorgeous. With the veil it looked even more stunning. I said yes to the dress (and the veil) :) Originally the dress was supposed to be over 1700 and I got it for $599. This place is interesting. They have a great selection of wedding dresses, good service, and VERY reasonable prices on name brands that retail $2,500+ (some dresses have never been worn!), but there are a few things that you should know before you come here. 1. You're not allowed to take photos of the dress or even have your phone out at all, so if you're shopping alone and want to share your favorite dresses with your mom or close friends, you won't be able to which sucks if you don't have friends/family nearby. 2. They won't let you try on dresses alone so if you're uncomfortable stripping down in front of a stranger, be warned. It's not bad though, they'll ask you to take off as much as you feel comfortable with. 3. It's very narrow and cluttered. There are so many dresses on the racks which is great, but you can barely even slide them to see the next dress. Also, no room for seating which is important if you may be bringing older family members to watch you try on your dresses. I'd recommend going on a weekday. They're not open on Sundays, so as you can imagine, Saturdays can get pretty packed. Definitely stop by this place to check out their selection, but this is the kind of place for brides to browse alone or with 1 or 2 people, not with an entire bridal party. You won't have that "say yes to the dress" experience here, but for dresses that inexpensive, you have nothing to lose by stopping by. -- Advice to owners: It may be a good idea to downsize and get rid of the non-bridal clothing taking up half of the store to make more space for the gowns. I can't imagine used dalmatian jackets and faux snakeskin skirts are in high demand, so it really makes the place seem cluttered. read more

You could find your wedding dress here if you're a size 10-12. I'm petite and on a budget so they didn't have many options. It's a very small cramped store, you can't take pictures and you have no one to help you try on dresses. Personally they aren't discounted enough for that kind of experience. I found plenty more dresses for $500-700 at nice boutiques with a stylist to help you and a comfortable amount of room. read more

Tami looked at all of the possibilities on hand in the shop and could see which ones of a larger size could be easily altered to work for us. I live in Austin, and after going to a handful of places where people were cold, impersonal, and slightly rude, I decided to come to Dallas and look at places with my MOH. We made appointments at boutiques all over Dallas and before we went, I saw that Anonymously Yours was an off the rack bridal store. So I thought "What the heck, why not check it out!" As soon as we came in, a nice lady by the name of Miss Joyce came over to help us and took us straight to the back where their much-larger-than-expected selection of bridal gowns were hanging. She asked me what size I was and what style I was looking for. She was SUPER knowledgeable about which designers/brands fit certain ways, and what kind of materials would be best. I found a Vera Wang dress in my size, so of course that was my first pick to try on, even though it wasn't the style/fit I had been looking for. Who finds a brand new Vera Wang wedding dress at an off-the-rack store? Miss Joyce walked me through the entire process of trying on dresses, and assisted me in putting each one on. The entire time she was giving me little pieces of advice and pointers for the best time for me to get my dress altered, what to expect on "the big day" etc. Although I had been to other places, no one had filled me with as much information as Miss Joyce, and she did it without coming off as a know-it-all. She was the best. Even though the VW was the first dressI tried on, I was pretty certain it was the ONE. But Miss Joyce suggested that I try on at least a couple more, just in case I found one I liked better. She helped me put each and every one of those on too. :) After I made my decision, she assisted me in putting the VW back on, for one more look. While I had it on, she asked me what kind of veil I had in mind and I told her I wanted to find a birdcage veil. "Hmmm, hold on I think I have something...." she said. While I stood there in that gorgeous dress, she came around the corner with 3-4 birdcage veils for me to choose from. I must mention, she didn't do any of this with a pushy-salesperson vibe, she just told me she wanted me to get an idea of my options so I could try it all on and picture how I'd look for my groom. I put on the perfect one, stared in the mirror feeling like a princess.... .and Miss Joyce just kept telling me how perfect the dress fit me and how beautiful I looked. Just like that, I had my dress and veil after the first place I went. :) In case you didn't notice, this is basically just a review for that sweet lady, Miss Joyce. She paid ALL of her attention to me from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. But I forgot to mention my dress was HALF the price (about $700) and I felt like a million bucks in it. I went to Anonymously Yours in search of my wedding gown. The storefront isn't very inviting, but don't let that stop you from going in! They have a surprisingly large selection of "off the rack" bridal gowns stuffed into such a small area. The dressing rooms are tiny so they have to wait for you to undress, then open the door to slip the gown over your head. So if privacy is a big thing for you, don't go here haha. It is a great place to go for a bride on a budget who isn't particularly picky. Although I didn't find "the one" I would still recommend checking it out. read more

I would never recommend this place to anyone!!! They are beyond RUDE!!! Our first stop of the day looking for wedding dresses, which is supposed to be a happy time and they totally ruined it!!! From the first encounter being told that we CANNOT use their bathroom, to the second encounter being told they HAVE to be the ones to assist you in trying on the dress, that you CANNOT try it on yourself, to the third encounter of being told you CANNOT take pictures. Seriously, who does not allow you to take photos of the family & bride to be trying on dresses??? This store should NOT be open for business!!! Anyone who takes their belongings to this store for consignment should be made aware of how they treat potential buyers and they should take their belongings elsewhere where it will be a good experience for potential buyers because the experience here was very disappointing!!! Nancy (who is very helpful!) was the one that actually found my dress after what I told her I wanted and I loved it so much! The great thing about this place is that they have something for everyone. I wanted something simple with lace but they had so many big and beautiful dresses too. Another thing was that I didn't feel rushed. We decided to check out David's bridal just in case and I just felt like I was swallowed in a sea of people (even with an appointment!) so we immediately went back.
