Over the past few weeks I have been looking for a new suit for my upcoming Vow Renewal Ceremony. To say the least, it has been difficult finding something I like that was reasonably priced and good quality. I went to numerous stores and looked on line and was frustrated with low quality and high prices. Then I found ISW. I walked in with my wife and Mark walked up and asked if he could help. We discussed what I was looking for and why. He walked to the racks, found exactly what I wanted and in my size without taking a single measurement. Best experience ever! My experience in detail 1. I'd gone to purchase the whole tuxedo outfit - jacket, pants, shirt, shoes, bowtie. 2. The sales advisor was professional. He provided options and I was pleased with the suit. They don't allow you to try on a shirt, so he provided one to me to try at home. The pants needed adjustment so he measured for the changes. There were four weeks to the event and he requested three weeks. 3. We came back after three weeks and the pants didn't fit. They were too loose, and too short. He asked for two days to adjust again. 4. We went back two days later, and the pants had not been adjusted. They asked for another day. 5. We went back the next day, and the pants had not been adjusted. By then we were three days from the wedding. The manager or owner then told the Sales agent to return our adjustment money and we needed to solve the issue on our own. 6. We, desperately, went to "The Best Tailor House" in Stonebriar Mall." Within 15 minutes, they'd measured and made the changes. It was flawless. We also found out that "The Best Tailor House" sold Tuxedo's ans shoes and were even cheaper. 7. What I learned is that having a tailor matters, and customer commitment matters. On both of these ISW Meanswear falls short. In terms of choice they're quite good, but I question that value of they can't get the product in time, and when they run out of time, they essentially ask you to solev the issue on your own. Next time I'll go directly to "The Best Tailor House" and skip the unecessary trips and frustration. read more

This place must have new ownership, and the employees were not dressed well at all. The employees there were not providing good advise, and didn't even measure me properly before assuming they knew what would look good on me. Also, this place used to do minor alterations for free once your bought your suit and paid the alterations. Not anymore, and they charge more than a professional tailor. Buh-Bye read more

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the ISW Menswear in Plano thanks to Terry. I was in the market a suit, and Terry was an absolute lifesaver. He greeted me immediately, listened carefully to what I needed, and expertly guided me to the perfect suit. He didn't just point me in a direction; he took the time to measure me properly and brought out several options, explaining the difference in fit and quality for each. His knowledge of the inventory was impressive, and he genuinely seemed to enjoy helping. as a result of Terry's expertise, I bought two suits, two shirts and two ties.The service was fast, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Fitst time shopping at ISW store ever. Went to the Plano location just for a tuxedo shirt. Decent selection and the shirt was competitively priced. Scanned the store and looked to have a variety of clothes to offer customers. Salesman was nice and store not busy at all. Upon driving up store employee was right by the entry door smoking. Not the place an employee should be doing that. Their return policy is 7 days which is ridiculous. Found that out after reading the receipt. Employee did not mention nor was a notice at the register posted of this policy. cash or debit refunds are done by mailing a check. Also rediculous. Considering the return policies are ridiculous , I won't be shopping here again. That's unfortunate because I thought I might go back for work clothes. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so to warn others of the sheer incompetency I have experienced here and with the company in general. My saga with them began two months ago, and I all I needed was a suit in a particular size that they didn't have in stock. They promised me that when it came in, they would call me to pick it up. This was not the case. After multiple visits and measurements, all of which I had to remind them who I was. I was given the same promise, and still, they could not manage to order the suit or give me a callback. They don't care. I contacted someone from corporate (accounting of all departments), and they were able to track down a suit in my size, and I was finally able to get a suit in my size. Just don't come here. They don't care. They sell you a suit, and once that suit is paid for they can't be bothered. read more

I am a procrastinator and waited until the last week to buy a suit for my cousins upcoming wedding. My mother in law suggested this store and when I got there I was immediately greeted by Terry Beckham. I told Terry of my urgent timeline and he told me if I paid a $50 fee I could get my suit tomorrow. Well not even 24hrs later, the store calls me and tells me my suit was ready and when I tried it on it met my expectations and more. For a last second option, ISW came in super clutch. My first time in here was great! Priscilla helped me to find some suits as well as with the fitting / tailoring process and was such an excellent help to me while in the store. She made the shopping process as easy as possible and I will be coming back and requesting her help in the future when I am in need of more clothing. Walked in for our scheduled wedding consult appointment and was rudely told "this is why we don't take appointments because we need to attend to our walk in's so we don't have time for the appointments. Bait and Switch. The sign in the window says "Tuxedo Rental". I went in and asked to see the tuxedos they have available for rent and I was told that they don't rent tuxedos, but they would be happy to show me what they had for sale. I told them their sign says they rent tuxedos. Two gentlemen said I could go to a third party site and rent a tux. I asked why the sign said Tuxedo Rental if they would not help me rent one. So here we are, me and my wife brand new to the DFW area from Los Angeles county. I found out on the second day of our arrival that our movers from Compton were not going to be delivering our stuff in a quick enough manner for me to get ready for my new job on the Tuesday after Memorial Day.I needed two suits fast and ISW menswear did not disappoint at all. Nima is a menswear wizard. Went to this location with my friend who was in dire need of a full outfit for a wedding the next day. We had just come from an unhelpful experience at men's wear house where the prices were also just too steep. Nima took one look at my friend and knew what we needed and got to work zipping around the store to help us find what we needed. We were out in an hour with a full outfit carefully picked out by Nima's knowledgeable eye and for half the price of what just the jacket would have cost at men's wear house. Finding this place so close by was such a blessing. I'll definitely be returning to this place for any further menswear need. read more

Being in a wheelchair always makes things difficult but Kyran took the time to make sure he was taken care of. Super accommodating and they had great conversations. So my future brother in law and nephew went here to get some outfits for the wedding. When I walked in everyone was like oh can I help you? I told them I was waiting for them. They seemed so eager to help except when they got there they were too busy arranging hangers to help. When we did ask for help it was like oh that is over there or this is over there. They didn't bother taking us to help us or offer any help whatsoever. They were out of a size of vest we needed so we asked if they could get it. Ali assured me he would have it Tuesday so I showed up for it and he had no clue who I was. He hadn't written a name or number or anything down. He was like I will be right back to which he walked to the floor where the vest was. He said he guessed someone had put it back on the floor since he didn't work yesterday. Good to know he was concerned about it....smh. I would NEVER spend my money in this store again and I will share my experience with others I know as well. Extremely dissatisfied. A week ago, we bought two suits for my husband, but he was only able to try on one at the store, which we had altered. The manager made the decision on the size of the second suit that needed to be ordered and tried to have us pay for alterations right then. Wow, I'm glad we didn't. When my husband went in today to pick up his altered suit, he discovered that the second suit was ordered in a size too small. The gentleman helping him was extraordinarily rude about the difference between European and American sizes (which didn't matter since the most experienced person in the store picked the size, not us) and forced my husband to take a larger size that's so big alterations will be outrageous. The suit he picked up, however, fit well. Unfortunately, the suspender buttons that we were promised were not added and my husband left without complaint because he was tired of being treated so poorly. When I called to discuss his experience, a pleasant and helpful woman whose name I wish I'd gotten apologized profusely for his experience and assured me we could bring the second suit back for a full refund within 7 days. We'll be taking it back within two and I'll downgrade this rating if that promise isn't kept. As for the missing suspender buttons, I'll go to someone I can actually trust to do that and we will NEVER return to this store after returning the problem suit. It's a pity since my husband needs to rebuild his entire wardrobe and was happy with the suit quality during our first visit. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere if you expect to be treated with courtesy and get what you pay for. read more

I went to purchase suite, sports jacket and shirt, I found something I like but felt pressure by sales people. After purchasing all those items I took it for alteration and found out fixing the pants was almost $100.00 which was little steep so i decided to return the suit. I went back to return suit and there were hurdle after hurdle and questions after questions. Once they found no choice but return , Sales person starting to make faces and finally i got my money back. BTW I still kept sports jacket and shirt. In this online world and amazon competition this business is bound be to be close unless they make No Question Ask Return and customer service has to be perfect. Honestly this place is awful. It reeks of smoke and the people working in there very obviously do not like their jobs or helping people. My husband has had to go twice to pick up clothes for a wedding and the people had no idea what he was talking about. They asked us who the sales person was who was working with the groom- like we had a clue?? Absolutely love going here for all my suit needs! I wear a suit five days a week and Lu who takes care of all my suit needs is the best! They never price gouge me like direct competitors and they're constantly getting new suits in to show me. Lu knows all my sizing and always has me in and out! Their reward program is awesome also! This location is horrible. The only reason in the past why ISW has gotten my business and my money is because for the most part they are the only solution with a wide selection for menswear suits. Every time I go to purchase a suit/suits for an event it is a fiasco! As a women who dresses more masculine at center I barely get a hello. Let alone anyone truly trying to help me find what I am looking for. No help to the fitting room, no one checking on fit, No changing out sizes, No suggestions. This last time, my wife kept having to toggle back and forth to the other side of the store to even ask the salesman questions for different sizes. Finally after letting the salesperson know I need the Tuxedo in a larger size and that I didn't see one available , I asked if they could call another store and or order one so that I can get the larger size; The salesperson said it was discontinued. He walked away without any other options telling us to try on what we want and come and get him if we needed something. He wasn't walking to any other customers he just didn't want to be bothered! Terrible customer service! Further more I went online to their website and was able to order the "discontinued" Tux in the size I needed. I'm pretty sure I get the cold shoulder because I'm a women. I don't get how clothing has a gender. I hope in the future ISW can be more accommodating to anyone that wants to wear there suits. Until then I won't be back! read more

We came in this past weekend to get a tux for my husband to wear for formal events. He can never buy anything off the rack, so unfortunately for him it was a process. Amir provided excellent service and spent about 45 minutes with us finding the right fit and marking him for the tailor. We ended up purchasing a vest, tie, and tuxedo shirt as well. I can't say enough great things about this store and Ali!! My fiancé and i are getting married in May and we went to men's wear house for the first stop and they were NO HELP. We came here and Ali helped us. From the start he was so helpful. We were overwhelmed with the options, didn't know if we wanted a tux or a suit and didn't know the colors we wanted. First we came in to get a suit for my daughter wedding. We were told that only person that could help us was guy name Amir he did wedding . First thing Amir did put my husband in a Reg size which was way to big. Jacket went down to his knees and pants 2 feet to long etc. I ask if they had a short size, no . Jacket way to long he said that how it fix, no way whole suit is to big. Plus it wasn't the style that the groom pick out. Amir just so rude and mad said to me I know what i,m doing not you. Couldn't believe he said that to me. My son that was also in there for a suit Amir try to put him in a large size, my husband and said we want to see someone else , Amir I'm only one that can help you. We left, 2 days later husband call see when Amir working go in see someone else. We did this talk to a lady ask her to get the two suits, which she did, son tried on his and ask her for smaller size. She said no problem, that size fix right excepts pants needed taken up. Then ask for a short for husband went got right style a short. He tried on the one Amir said was right one even wrong style he just transfer the marking. Not only did the lady say way to big , but also a another saleman said the same jacket way to long, he take short. My husband tried on short it fit jacket by should need taken in anf pants taken up. But the fixed his legs not like other you could put two legs in one.Also short jacket sleeves only need inch taken up not like reg. four inches. We did get two suits, thank the two people that help us. Then Amir came in was he mad and rude, said the other suits were right, we walked out. Thought we were finish with him, no wrong, went to pick up the suits and try them on, he wasn't there so another saleman got suits and help us with trying on. He was real nice,wish got his name. He check everything seen thread pulled, said take back get fixed, also said that the shoulder back by arms little to big and wasn,taken alway down should of been, get it fix. Then Amir with young man came up call saleman and told us that Amir had to help his great first show him thread and pulled it and material was being pulled out. Said stop your going pulled more threads out, please take it back ash the tailor to fix it right, plus fix the shoulders. Amir rude voice nothing wrong with shoulders, look little to big by arms. That,s how it fixes because he has uneven shoulders, what that ruded. Please go get thread fix right. Watch him alway walking back he was pulling the thread, got to back lady was there, but Amir took something to thread then return. Never had so bad service. If it wasn't for my daughter wedding only to weeks away. Walked out and got refund. Material was pulled shoulder arm to big. End going down street to tailor, walked in my husband put suit on first thing tailor said shoulder by arms to big and I show him pull. He said I can fix that now no cost, but he couldn't fix shoulders in time, sorry . We were going to have ISW short white dress shirt not how job did on jacket etc. My husband ask him if he could take up sleeves on shirt, I will get it done before the wedding for you, so sorry jacket takes more work. We understand, but he said bring jacket , pick up shirt I can temporary fix the shoulders look nice for daughters wedding, then after it bring it in I will fix it. His cost so little that was for shirt. Not like ISW cost me 89.00. We will never go back to ISW for anything. By the way my husband and son not only ones in wedding party that Amir was ruded too. So if you want a lousy fixed suit, rude Amir service and lousy tailoring then go here ISW. Something nice looking go someone else. We went into ISW Frisco TX on Saturday 18th to buy a suit or sports jacket for an 8th grader for his school dance. The store was very busy but we were greeted as soon as we walked in. We shopped around for a few minutes and the kiddo found something he liked just as John walked up. John helped us from that point on pick out a suit, help with sizes, trying on different outfits, and we even buying some Italian shoes, lol yes for an 8th grader! John was so fun and helpful and even gave the teen some "lady tips". We have shopped in there several times prior for him but we really enjoyed dealing with John and his fun attitude. You have a great selection for smaller sized teenagers with your slim styles that most places don't carry. Please take care of your great associates like John so we get this amazing service every time! read more

My first visit to ISW was to purchase a suit or two for my young adult son. This visit was uneventful and pleasant. Lu was very helpful. He matched great styles and colors and offered us great deals and options to get us what we wanted and needed. We had an event in 2 weeks, found two suits he liked and they marked for alterations and we were told to come back in a week. When we came back, they were very short-staffed due to a staffing emergency, so getting appropriate attention was not an option. Max did his best! I really felt that we were treated as an afterthought because I had already spent my money and those new shopping customers were given more attention than we were given. We were given the suits and expected to leave, I had to ask to be placed in a fitting room to try them on before just leaving the store with them. So glad I did because one of the suits was wrong! Getting some help to address my concerns was exhausting and my patience quickly wore thin. There wasn't much to be done at this point, we needed a second suit and they could not accommodate our needs/schedule. Max made many offers that just logistically didn't work for our schedule. As I said, Max was amazing and did all he could amidst the store's chaos to have this error corrected. In the end, we left happy customers and the event went without a snag and my son looked great, he just had to wear the same suite multiple times and rotated his shirts and ties for the duration of his events. Overall, I want to recognize the Lu for his amazing style skills and advice and his sales expertise but I also want to recognize Max for his customer service skills in the craziness that occurred that night. Max was overworked that night but he did his best to ensure that we left the store happy customers and we did just that! read more

Terrible service! I submitted a Visa gift card for payment and was told it did not go through. They printed out a small receipt which clearly stated the card was approved for its full balance, although I only found this out once I got home. So I took them for their word and simply paid with a different card. I thought perhaps the Visa gift card just needed to be activated so that was what I tried to do when I got home, only to find the card was actually charged, meaning I had been charged twice for my purchase (on my Visa gift card AND my other card). When I returned to the store the next day to have them fix this, they were dismissive and acted as if it all had nothing to do with them. I called Visa and was told the transaction was showing as pending and to check back after 10 days if the amount had been credited back to my gift card. The card clearly had the stated balance so why was I told it had no balance on it in the first place? When I pulled up the evidence on my phone showing clearly the Visa gift card was charged by them, they said 'No, that is for you' - they were simply not interested. They had clearly caused this problem, and obviously a bunch of inconvenience for me and I was frankly appalled by the treatment I got for daring to go back and ask for help.
