Most of these unique furnitures are made of real wood, and the quality shows. If the wood is reclaimed, it'll be hard to tell - but they do have a wood shop in the back. Maybe some don't have easy rollers for the drawers, but the wood is really the priciest part of any furniture. And that's the other thing - many of the things I saw here, I felt like I could buy, and also afford. The prices of the things here are superb, considering how overpriced some other antique shops tend to be that they normally collect dust. Not here. So if you're looking for pieces of furniture to add character to your room, be sure to stop here in downtown Plano. It's quite a find.

I think 15 years ago it was a tearoom and dead on arrival. Not anymore. I peaked around the corner to see what's the deal Lucille and see about 50 people having lunch. Obviously, someone has engineered a successful restaurant in here I came here trying to find someone interested in buying things I have for sale. It is exactly the type place I needed to be. A nicely currated group of " booths" with ,No Junk! That's right, this place is not a waste of time but a legit source of vintage/ antique collectables. It's hard to sell things these days as interest has wained in with the younger generation. High Street Antiques is perfectly positioned to capture the target audience for those remaining appreciative and desirus of " Old, Lovingly Used, Sentimental" stuff. My wife and I are always looking for new antique shops around the Metroplex. The Frisco location…read morehas some interesting vendors and great finds--we even purchased a 1950s table top lamp. Unfortunately, the customer service left us disappointed. At other antique stores, we're used to employees offering to take items to the front while we continue shopping. Here, they provide small shopping carts, but many booths and aisles were difficult to navigate with them. We ended up cutting our shopping short and spending less than we otherwise might have. The biggest disappointment came at checkout. On October 25, 2026, around 12:45 p.m., we approached the counter and saw approximately six employees standing behind it, talking among themselves. I made eye contact with one young lady, but we waited about a minute without a greeting or anyone asking whether we needed help. Finally, my wife said, "Excuse me, we're ready to check out. Can someone please help us?" The woman who eventually checked us out came across as irritated that we had asked for assistance. Instead of leaving excited about our purchase, we left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously. The vendors have wonderful merchandise, but inattentive service can cost both the store and its vendors sales. Buying antiques is a discretionary expense, and customers should feel welcome and appreciated when they choose to spend their money here. We enjoyed the merchandise, but because of this experience, we won't be returning. Signed , Disappointing Customer
