I was walking along the shops, just curious about what I would find one cold evening in February and stumbled across Another Time and Place. The bright lights beckoned me, and I went inside. I was immediately hit with the warmth of the lights and entranced by all the colors and shiny things. Here you'll find unique light fixtures, ornate rugs and colorful jewelry. I love the variety and the beauty of the items; not the run-of-the mill stuff you find in the big box stores. Prices seemed to be on par with what I'd expect for products such as these. If you're looking for something unique to decorate your home or your body, this would be a good place to start.

I had a wonderful experience visiting this Turkish antique shop. The space is truly beautiful and filled with an incredible variety of unique pieces. There are so many antiques throughout the store that it almost feels like a treasure hunt--you really have to see it in person to appreciate everything they have. The customer service was excellent. The owner was very attentive, answered all of my questions, and took the time to educate me about Turkish antiques and their history. I really appreciated the knowledge he shared, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I found several pieces that I absolutely love and plan to purchase in the future. All I know is, when it was freezing cold outside and I was waiting for a customer for a business dinner, these guys invited me into their shop just that I would be warm. For that reason alone I think this place is awesome and you should buy stuff from it. read more

HUGE selection of jewelry making supplies, including stone, jewels, metal findings, etc. and so many beautifully polished rocks and stone pieces and crystals. The prices seemed very reasonable. After we took the grandkids to the Perot museum last summer and they loved the huge rock displays, my oldest granddaughter wanted a rock tumbler for her birthday. We did fulfill that wish and even helped her tumble a couple of sets of rocks over the month long process. I brought our results with us to the store. I asked the young lady at the counter about what might have happened. The kind older man behind the counter walked by and asked so nicely if he might step in to help. He explained that rocks have different levels of hardness and we could probably get best results by tumbling all like rocks at a time. Makes perfect sense! I was just so impressed at how kind (to us and to each other) and helpful everyone was. I think it was a father (owner perhaps?) and daughter working together and the working relationship was beautiful to experience. Everyone had a great experience at Rock Barrell and can't wait to return!

Etsy would print fabric on demand but not get here til mid month. The store is beautifully arranged with nice fabrics and quilting accessories and the prices seemed very reasonable.
