Absolutely horrible experience at HomeGoods. The cashier at register No. 2 was beyond rude and acted like she did not even want me there. The moment she saw my Asian face, her attitude completely changed -- no greeting, no smile, no "thank you," nothing. Just a cold, rude expression and silence the entire transaction. I have never felt so unwelcome at a store before. Customer service employees are supposed to treat customers with basic respect, but this cashier clearly failed at that. Her behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. If you hate dealing with customers that much, you should not be working as a cashier. Management needs to seriously investigate this employee and retrain or replace her because she completely ruined my shopping experience. We love HomeGoods. This locations is large and has plenty of fun selections. It is clean and neat. The staff are fine. They are orderly in the checkout process. Shout out for inclusive Halloween decor. We had to purchase the lesbian skeleton pillow for our in-community child who loved it. Worse location ever. I have HomeGoods E gift cards from my firm's rewards program. I screenshot the barcode and PIN number to make it easier for the cashier to enter in and scan. I used to work at a HomeGoods in Houston a few months ago before I graduated and moved back home. You literally just scan the barcode and then type in the pin. The cashier was giving me a hard time and wanted to know the exact amount on the gift card because you supposedly need to know the exact amount in order for the e gift card to work. I had $2.20 remaining on my e gift card and the cashier said it was ringing up as $25 only to say there's not enough funds. She then scans my other e gift card and says it doesn't work because it doesn't have any funds in it. I went outside to call the rewards company and they confirmed that my Marshalls/TJMaxx/Homegoods gift card was still working and had the funds on it. So I got back in line and got another cashier. This cashier wanted to see me log back into the rewards website I redeemed the e gift cards from so she can scan the barcode from there and enter in the PIN number shown there. They didn't even bother trying the screenshot I had of the exact same thing. Lo and behold logging into the rewards website and pulling up the exact same thing that was shown in the screenshot magically works now and they can see that there's money in the gift card. If this store doesn't accept screenshots of e HomeGoods gift cards, just be honest with me and say that straight up. Don't waste both our time and make me have to go call the rewards company to ensure that there are funds in them. Pulling up the exact same e HomeGoods gift card from a website doesn't magically make it work while a screen shot of the exact same thing gives you an error. Just tell me you want me to pull up the e gift card from the website because you don't accept screenshots of e gift cards here and the transaction could have gone by so much smoother and quicker. read more

I am in love with this store!! I can't believe I have never been here before. They have sooooo many cute Christmas decorations. I love the kitchen area. They have a ton of serving bowls and bakeware. I honestly don't know what to expect when I come to a Home Goods, but this one didn't match my expectations after shopping for years at the store on Coit and Campbell. I'll grant that it may have been the day/time I went, but shelves were fairly empty and the selections that were available weren't as appealing as the other store. What I do like about Home Goods is that you can spot good surprise finds and sometimes get an idea of something you like that you then can chase down on the internet (like the curtains I found there that were the wrong size, but the perfect look). All in all, I would shop here again. I just need to remember part of the appeal of the store is that it's a treasure hunt with no guarantee of success. read more

I purchased a defective product from another home goods & they refused to give me a return even though I had my receipt & had purchased it the day before. Nowhere on the receipt did it state this. When I asked Rosereo to please write the corporate phone number on my receipt so I could call them, she said "look it up"...talk about customer service!?! I did call corporate & they apologized & said Rosereo would take the item back- which they did, however the cashier ignored me when I returned & complained about having to take item back. My addiction to Home Goods is no joke. I make weekly visits, sometimes twice in a week. My favorite one is the Allen (includes a TJ Max) location but if I'm in the area I will stop by at this location is Frisco. They often have a great variety of things but I sometimes find that the shelves are a bit bare, it's kind of hit and miss. The aisles are very crowded during a busy hour which makes it hard to maneuver. For the first time tonight I stopped by half an hour before closing time and it was heaven. Only saw three other shoppers, maybe I'll start doing this more often. The staff is usually friendly, but during the busy hours there's no room for chatting which is understandable. Plenty of parking up front, plenty of outdoor lighting, good area of town. read more

This is by far the trashiest both inside and out home goods I have ever been to and I've been to a lot of them. The outside had trash everywhere and furniture for sale just sitting the rain. The trash was overflowing and on the sidewalks. The inside of the store was a holy hell mess. No pride in this store whatsoever. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is for the cashier who was great. There's nothing more frustrating than pushing a cart and hitting a dead end of furniture in the middle of the aisle. And this is all that I experienced when trying to look at their rug selection. You can't get to it! I had to ditch my cart and squeeze past random crap just to see what they had on display. What they had wasn't worth the effort -- the price tag was okay, but the available styles weren't my cup of tea. Also, this place is overwhelmingly cluttered. I knew walking into a HomeGoods that shit was gonna be everywhere, but hot dang. Walk in with a game plan or you're going to suffer from "too much in your field of view" epilepsy. Wow this HomeGoods was a hot mess. It's so hard to find things here with it being scattered all over the shelves and the furniture taking up too much of the space in the narrow walkways. I was able to find a cute notebook though after looking through every single one and trying to place them back on top of each other without toppling the stack. I found other notebooks on my journey throughout the store that were almost intentionally yet haphazardly placed down if they matched whatever inventory was in that area. read more

I love this HomeGoods!! They always have a HUGE selection of items for every category...and they also carry huge crystal lamps that are worth over $100 for $50!! The staff is super nice and very helpful, and not in a generic way, all the employees seem so genuine and care, I've never ever had a bad experience with the people who work there. Tonight a girl who was working, named Ashley, was INCREDIBLE...I was the last customer before they closed and not only did they not make me feel rushed or like they wanted me out at all which I really appreciated because soooo many retail stores do that. On top of the absolutely amazing customer service from everyone, Ashley went above and beyond to help me find my vape (yes my vape, i always have it in my hand or pocket lol) I had either left it on the counter or back in the bedding aisle with the mattress pads and comforters. Even though it was 10 minutes past closing time, I asked one of the people gathering the carts if they could see if it was on the counter, and they were very nice and got the attention of Ashley. She was so sweet and literally went ALL THE WAY to the back of the store to try and find my vape. She found it and I was so thankful that she went way above and beyond just for me. If she will do that for one customer, I can't imagine how amazing she does during the day! Definitely my favorite HomeGoods...I really liked it before but this experience solidified that this will be my go to HomeGoods from now on. Way to go for hiring such awesome employees! Seriously they were all so amazing and so nice, i wish I could give more than 5 stars read more

I went in in my way to work on the off chance they might have a stand up coat rack. And they did! I got it for 39.99. It's metal so not easily breakable and its perfect. Such a great find. This location makes me so sad. I recently moved to Frisco from the Toronto, Canada area where HomeSense is all the rage and HomeGoods isn't a thing. Given that they are owned by the same company, I expected the same fantastic experience that I have always had every time I visited HomeSense. I was disappointed immediately upon walking into the store. It is so small and so cramped. There is furniture in the aisles and the rest of the store is a disaster. The selection of almost everything is terrible. While it has a similar layout and brands as HomeSense, the two are nothing alike in terms of selection, cleanliness and customer service. This HomeGoods location is where left over, unwanted home decor items go to sit on dusty shelves. I'm really hoping this isn't the case for all HomeGoods locations :( read more

I use to love this location, not anymore. I was talking with an employee about the store and they explained to me that a Manager left due to poor treatment from other Managers, now they don't have anyone to help them clean up the store. It shows that they don't have the help. When I was standing in line to check out I saw a short blond talking to the employee I was speaking with and then she walked away from the employee rolling her eyes. The employee then saw me watching and seemed embarrassed as she was starting to cry. I asked my cashier who that blond was and they told me she was a Manager named Tiffany. I hope someone does something about this behavior, it is not professional and not a behavior that should be present in management. read more

Unfortunately, it is the only location in a very highly populated area (North Plano/South Frisco) and the store is a WRECK! This store is sooo horrible!! We attempted to return item with a receipt and they would not take it back. The item was still brand new in the original packaging. We had a copy of the receipt. Pulled up the stores policy on my iPhone. The store manager Tiffany Duron is a big fat liar!! She looked at the webpage read the policy with us but was adamant about not taking the item back talking about integrity. What?!? Had nothing to do with the transaction. To prove she is a big fat liar, we shop at home goods all the time. Before there was a home goods TJ Max. The HomeGoods we mostly shops is the one in Irving on MacArthur road. Never had this problem before. Same thing, returned item over 30days old received store credit which was fine. The MacArthur manager said the item was not showing up anymore, but clearly read receipt. The manager took old tag off, and printed new bar code to sell the item. Same thing, the item was brand new. Yes, it can be resold. Now this ignorant store manager Tiffany Duron made a big deal out of not taking the item back. Sit in the store for over 30mins at registers trying to return item after she walked about around the store looking to talk to each manager about my return. She said she called her manager. Huh?!? Your badge says store manager. Anyway. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!! Long as you have ignorant, less than intelligent manager working who do not follow the policies of their own store. Oh yeah, she was quick to pull out her district manager card Tim Herr, but would not give the name of her manager who she supposedly called about return. Gave us regional manager name Marti. Since relocating I've been here a couple times. It's not my favorite. I feel that they don't have a very large selection of unique pieces like all the other HGs I've visited in the last. This store gets a bit crowded after 11am on any day. I'll keep supporting simply because this is the only HG in my area but I hope they get some more unique pieces in soon.
