I recently relocated to Frisco, TX and was thrilled to find several Kirkland's nearby. I truly enjoy perusing the selection at the Centre at Preston Ridge. I find the space has been used to effectively & attractively display the merchandise. I have been shopping this company for almost 20 years and they continue to offer unique, reasonably priced items for which there is almost always a coupon, not to mention frequent sales. The service I have received at this store is beyond my expectations as the sales people went the extra mile when I went to the wrong store to pick up an order and they called to cancel so that I did not have to drive to pick it up. Although I might not "need" anything, I go back often when I am nearby to check out the selection. read more

This place is awesome! Debbie, the manager, and Allison are super helpful and I LOVE all the decorations and furniture they have! Great quality and the prices are more than reasonable. They've got everything from picture frames and wall art to small tables and accent chairs. The style is sort of farmhouse-chic I'd say. As I mentioned, really great quality and very fashion forward. We love to burn candles at our house, typically Yankee candles, but the ones they have here smell much better and cost literally $15 a piece less! There's also some pretty bad ass coupons online if you look around hard enough!!! We will definitely be back!!! read more

Just tried to order 4 curtain valances on the Kirkland website. I had a 30% off coupon code, but they wanted to charge $29 for shipping for an order over $100. Or, I could use a free shipping code--but not both. I saved $44 for the exact same item on Target.com--no b.s. with the shipping. Today I stopped in just to browse around and ended up finding several Halloween things I just couldn't live without. I had my cart next to me as two employees decided to push their self in front of what I was looking at, I politely asked if they needed me to move or move my basket as the proceeded to continue to push me out of the way. I backed up so they could continue doing what they considered to be so important. After being irritated I decided to just get what I had in my basket and check out. No one was at the register and when they finally realized I was there the lady acted like it was an inconvenience to check me out. She rang up my items and I asked if one item was on sale as stated on the sign, she said no just the Halloween signs...... guess what I bought???? Halloween signs. Mind blowing. But this still isn't the worst is yet to come. Another lady had came over in the mean time to be just as rude as the older lady. The card reader wasn't working and they were acting like my card was being declined (worked just fine at Best Buy after I left) so paid cash. Once I got my purchased items I asked my 8 year old son if he would push the cart back, the younger lady turned and said "yeah, that would be nice". As we walked out of the store I heard them loudly talking about my son and myself. I politely said we can hear you and exited the store. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN TREATED THIS WAY. I WILL NEVER I REPEAT NEVER WALK INTO THAT STORE AGAIN. read more

I would never recommend online ordering from Kirklands. I ordered a piece of artwork on 10/25 it be shipped to the Frisco store because their online shipping rates are ridiculous. 2 phone calls later, they're saying it should be to the store by Thursday, 11/9. 15 days to ship to your store is BEYOND ridiculous. That is the last online order I ever make with this store! EVER! read more

I've found so many cute little decorations here lately for both Fall/Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas! They seem to always have stuff on sale, so I'm not sure I would ever really buy anything at full price here. They have always been very well organized with a friendly staff. Right up front you'll find great seasonal finds and in the far back you will always find some odds and ends on clearance. One thing that they do well throughout many items in the store is monogrammed / initialed items, which I just love! My friend and myself were looking at the Halloween stuff this Kirkland's still have in stock and I noticed the Halloween merchandise was 75% off. I was not sure if this 75% applied to the regular price or the sale price marked. There were TWO Kirkland's employees right next to me having a conversation about whatever and I politely said "excuse me" to get their attention. Neither one of these employees turned to help. I thought maybe they didn't hear me, so I spoke a little louder and said "excuse me" again. One lady turned and looked at me but continued her conversation. I walked up to them and brought the piece of merchandise I was asking about and said excuse me again. The lady turned to me and said, "what can I help you with?" I was taken back by her attitude. I asked her if the sale price was off the original price or the markdown price. She replied VERY RUDELY "I don't know." I then asked her if she could ask someone else to find out because I wanted to buy some stuff. She turned to the lady she was talking to and asked her. The lady interrupted her and said "it's obvious it would be off the original price. No one ever gives a sale on marked down prices." I turned to my friend and gave her a look of shock because I could not believe how rude this lady was being. The two ladies started to go through boxes of dogs with pumpkins, which is what I was looking at. I asked them if they had a weenie dog one but was yet again ignored. They found the one I was looking for and when I said I would like to purchase it, they both ignored me and said she was going to put it up on the counter for herself. I asked them if they had another one and the lady replied, "no that's the only one" and then she said to my friend and myself "we're so bad, aren't we?" and walked away with the dog. read more

I highly recommend this location, and actually all Kirkland's stores. The managers truly care about all customers, even if you have placed an online order that has gone awry! Recently, I had a disappointing experience where one of my online ship-to-store orders was sent to the wrong location, and the manager and employees here personally called me on a regular basis to keep me updated. Plus, they let me know the manager of the store it accidentally went to personally drove my order to Frisco! I appreciate that kind of attention to detail in customer service to all local people!
