This store is not ran well at all. If you go on your lunch hour, there are not enough clerks running registers. One person working return/customer service lane and one register open. One manager and 2 employees standing around the registers visiting, laughing, and ignoring the long lines of customers standing in line. To add insult to injury when you finally check out, they will all turn around in unison saying "Have a nice day". I would have a much better day, if they were checking people out, so we could get back to work on time. read more

What a bad experience returning items today. The cashier Janita provide the worse customer service acknowledging "I don't remember this item". First the purchase wasn't at this store and second you don't provide that answer to customer. I used to work at the same environment (customer service) and I would never provide the type of answer. And what was worse that the "front manager" (which I couldn't got her name) didn't say anything just mumbling "no no" and than Janita said "the boss said no". I went on on Friday, just looking around, little to nothing on sale. This store is poorly managed. There were shopping carts almost in every Isle I went down, couldn't get to the items. When I went to look for something in the floral department, there was a giant ladder right smack dab in front of what i wanted to look at. I quickly left and said never again. Management or is someone is reading this that works there: find another way to have your stockers place their shopping carts when stocking instead of the isles. Ladders should be removed from Isles after use to prevent injury with shoppers. read more

The store opens at 9:00 AM. I went in to Have Framing done. No one in the Framing department. I asked a lady to call someone to Framing. No one in the department. The employee asked Amber "The store manager" if she could help me. She said no. The framers come in at 10:00. Amber the pathetic store manager did not talk to me at all. She refused to help me. She should NOT be a manager of any store. She is rude and unprofessional. I have shopped here for years. Love Hobby Lobby. They need to fire Amber and get a real and decent manager. I love Hobby lobby. I shop there all the time. Sometimes two or three times a week. Several days ago I had a bunch of large items fall down on me. Fortunately I was not hurt and I restacked the items three times before I got them to stay up. . I alerted the people in the front at the registers. when I could see nothing was going to be done I called and alerted the manager. Today I returned and I noticed the items had not been moved but this time they were all over the floor. I'm assuming the same thing happened to someone else. Hope they were not hurt. Shout out to Nathan in the framing department! His customer service went above and beyond! I purchased a decorative piece I wanted to hang on my wall and wanted some ideas of how to do so. I went to the framing department and Nathan gave me many options and even took my item and demonstrated how it could be done; by the time we were done I felt confident I could hang it with no problems. I'd been to Hobby Lobby maybe one other time years ago and this trip I was really impressed. They have so many things there that I wanted to buy for my place and they had a great sale as well. Buyer beware! I purchased an item and was told the coupon would not apply because it was clearance. Fine, I understand. When I got home I peeled back the clearance price to see how much I saved. Low and behold, the original price was the same as the clearance price! I checked online and the item was not clearanced and was the same price as the clearance sticker. At this point it was a matter of principle. When I returned the item I was asked why. I explained the pricing issue and was told, very angrily, that I am not allowed to peel back the clearance sticker. When I said the same item was online with this store's clearance price the same as the online full price, I was told that they probably put the clearance sticker on it because the store was having a hard time selling it. What the heck??? Definitely reporting this to the FTC. Not honest or honorable, and not my first time have less than professional experience with Hobby Lobby managers at this location. read more

Personally, I prefer Michael's over Hobby Lobby. I think Michael's has a sightly better range of items and more crafting supplies compared to Hobby Lobby. While both stores carry home decor items, Hobby Lobby seems to carry a better variety. The prices at Hobby Lobby are comparable to Michael's. The folks here are always nice and helpful. They have great printed fabric that goes on sale often. Plenty of religious decor or inspirational items can be found here. Don't forget to pull up the online coupon for 40% off of one full priced item before you towards the cash register. TIP: Because Hobby Lobby is a faith-based company, all their stores are closed on Sundays. No worries, though. Michael's is further down the road past 121 in the same shopping center as World Market. read more

At the store I looked for an attendant for help, and she said she would be right back, and she never did. Then I saw her helping another person. Never I got any help after waiting for at least 15 minutes. Then I am usually patience at the hobby lobby stores, because I know the check out is slow, but I had the most unpleasant person today who not only ignored me, answer me back, and (gross) liked her finger to open my bag and check my products. Love hobby lobby! One of my favorite places on earth! The sales are awesome! Today I went in and got a few things for my classroom, almost all of it was on sale! I asked Irene if she could double check all the prices to make sure they were 50% off. She told me about several of the items that were not on sale, and never come on sale. She was adamant that they were not 50% off. I excepted it and moved on with my life! Now that I'm driving home, I realized I could've used my 40% off coupon on one of the full price items. I'm disappointed in myself and also Irene, she could've reminded me that there is a coupon online. I love the Saturday sales: 40-50% off on average on all kinds of decor. Great place to get things for your home, especially great pieces for the walls. My husband and I got a lot of great things here for our new home this year. My favorite item was a large iron clock for $35 (originally over $100). The staff is helpful. It's always very busy in there on Saturdays (they are closed Sundays) but they seem to handle the crowds well. They have great selection for craft supplies as well. read more

Went to the location in Frisco. Was so desperate to get a custom mat cut for a photo I needed to send THAT DAY for Christmas. Encountered Lacey at the framing desk. What a find! Not only did she accomodate my request, she had flawless taste in the color selection. I was in and out and on my way in less than 15 minutes with a mat for my stupidly odd shaped photo. She even helped me photo the finished product so I could send it to the Giant before I shipped it to the recipient. Love Lacey at the Frisco Hobby Lobby! I would give this place a negative star if I could. My daughter had picked and item she wanted and when we got to the other side of the store she saw something else she had wanted instead so she put that item down and picked up the other item. A store associate asked if she was my daughter and I said yes why. She just gave my daughter a nasty look and walked away. You work here not me, it's your job to put stuff away. Lazy!! Then to top it off I had two coupons. Asked if I could use both. Cashier said, no one per transaction. I said ok ring me up twice. Other stores do this all the time. She said no. I went to the cashier to return a defective wall clock which I bought two days ago. The lady cashier called the the lady manager and asked if this defective wall clock can be returned with two holes in the back. The manager said no. I told these two uninformed ladies that the two holes were already there and that I did not put those holes but they insisted I cannot return. Now who would not get mad under these circumstances. On top of that this so called manager threatened to call Frisco police and also summoned their own goones where I felt threatened because one was in the back of me real close. I thought I was going to get chokehold. After quite a bit of scenario, one guy employee on his own without any direction from this lady manager , who was too busy arguing that she's trying to protect this misguided, uninformed and not very knowledgeable cashier, got another wall clock and showed to everyone that those two holes are originally there. Finally with the help of another manager which was actually his first day at that store, that I got my refund. So in conclusion, all of the scenarios could have been avoided where had it not been because of the overzealousness of these ladies, which they were very wrong at the very beginning. Also I complained by phone to their customer service what my experience was. She was sympathetic and said that she will forward this complaint to the district manager. As of this day, I have not heard anything from anyone at hobby lobby. Boy was I wrong when I thought this company was good. Never will I shop there again because of their arrogance. read more

Just left this store and realized I dropped a $20 bill. Called the store and received a call back from Nancy informing me that her manager watched the video and that a guy picked up my money and handed it back to me and I left the store with the money I reported I lost in the store. I spoke with manager David and told he I was offended by him thinking I had dishonestly reported I had lost money in his store just to have him tell his employees that I was handed my money by another customer. Luckily I was next door and walked into the store and asked if I could see the video and did. The video clearly showed me dropping the money but the two caucasian male customers behind me dishonestly kicking the $20 and picking it up as I walked out the store. They did not report it as lost or inform me that I had dropped it. To make matters more disturbing I asked the cashier/Janita if she remembered me coming through her line and she also told me that a guy handed me the money I dropped and I left the store with the money I reported as lost. Go figure, huh. So much for a Christian store empowering Christian values. But then again in this trying time in the USA one should expect low morality. read more

Got a great pair of mirrors that came in a hourglass , distressed green/blue finish. The discount I had on my phone took 40% off! So got both for under 40$. I love to make jewelry and they have a great diverse choices. It means you can give personal gifts but still stay in your budget. They routinely beat Michaels prices.My daughter likes to knit and she could afford every one with custom scarves this past xmas.
