The lovesac is great until it isn't. We were 2 months out of warranty and the store manager told us she would take care of our 2 cushions. After 3 weeks I called just for her to tell me I need to call customer service. We had already spent 8k on the couch 3 years ago. 1 cushion is over 200 and to change the color its at least 2k. Some of the other cushions are starting to wear down aswell. So we might aswell just go back to buying a new couch every few years. Its cheaper. Very disappointed because I love the concept. read more

Arrived at the store with a friend looking very generally for furniture. When one of the staff asked if we were searching for a specific couch, we told her no. From then it did not seem like we were taken very seriously. There were not many other people in the store, but she made it quite clear she wanted us to leave from the way we were treated. Lovesacs and Sactionals are those things that you really have to try for yourself to believe. If someone simply described it to you, it'll probably just sound stupid. Giant foam bags that cost as much as a couch? Why would I get that? But once you sit on one, you'll understand. And this is where a local store comes into play. This store (and all other Lovesac stores) is simply a show room. It's tiny compared to the other traditional furniture stores, but all it takes is one Sac to forever change your perception of a comfort. I gave this store a 5-star due to the customer service I received from Jennifer. It was simply exceptional. I came in casually to browse around for some accessories and to look at the Sactionals. Being super detailed oriented, I started asking a ton of questions. Jennifer stayed patient with me. She even helped me order an item that was sold out online. 3 weeks later, I had more questions and she remained patient and informative through multiple phone calls and emails. Most people can't keep up with my level of attentiveness to details. But hey, if I'm spending $700 on a giant sac or $2000 on a couch, I want to know everything about it. Normally, I would never advocate buying something in store when you can buy it online, especially when there's free shipping. However, Lovesac is a little different b/c there really is no difference. In store, you get to sit on the furniture and actually touch the fabrics, including many that are not listed on their websites. You might even get some cool in-store discounts if you're lucky. Lastly, just a general advice with the Sacs. Don't underestimate their sizes. They are HUGE. They might not look that big in the stores but they will once you open them up in your apartment. If you live in an apartment, I won't recommend getting anything bigger than a MovieSac. We have the Eskimo Phur cover and it's amazing! read more

I've been wanting a Lovesac Sactional for a very long time now. I live in San Antonio, but have family in Dallas, so on one of our trips to Dallas, we bought the Lovesac. I wish there was a store in San Antonio. Ordering was super easy and the sales lady was very helpful in choosing a cover. Since we have dogs and a baby on the way, she recommended the black padded velvet so if anything spills it won't get absorbed into the actual couch. The couch shipped and arrived right on time. It did come at 10am which was earlier than we were expecting, so we were not ready for it. There was no instructions on how to put together because there are several different arrangements. There is a video online, but it didn't help us for the couch we bought. It took us all day to put this couch together. I searched YouTube videos and I couldn't find anything. Eventually, I ended up calling customer service, but I couldn't get through. So I called the store I bought it from and talked to the manager. She said she would email me a diagram, but I never received the email. The covers of the couch can come off and are washable, however it seems like it would be a chore to do that. The covers fit so snug I'm afraid washing them will shrink them. The sales lady said to hang them up to dry which means we won't have a couch to sit on while drying out the covers. I am going to be going back to the store to purchase another side and cover for the new arrangement we want to do and possibly a couple cup holders that fit on the ends. The one thing I don't really like is how the cushions are just Velcro on and they easily slide off. We have to re-position them and really make sure they are on. Also, the configuration we got (the 4X4) is not very comfy lying horizontally on it since there is a little gap between them. I do love the couch, but wish it came with actual instructions for the different configurations because what could've taken just a couple hours took all day long and several arguments later. We're moving soon, so we'll see how easy it'll be to take apart and rearrange. read more

Located in Stoenbriar Mall, Lovesac sells (for lack of a better explanation) preimum bean bag chairs. However, they're not actually bean bags but furniture grade foam filled bags. Simply choose a size and cover and you're ready to take your Lovesac home. The foam is compressed in a bag you'll start by ripping the foam into chunks and the sac will expand. Once the peaces are broken up into chunks, simply cover the bag, and you are ready to enjoy. These bags can be heavy (over 50 lbs) so you may need help to periodically fluff the sac as it has a tendency over time to flatten out. I have the MovieSac (2 person) and was lucky enough to buy it and a cover during a 50% off sale, otherwise these sacs are expensive. Even still, I think I spent over $300. It is also my understanding that they carry a lifetime warranty so you can get replacement foam if needed. read more

Christmas ruined. Location: Stonebriar store Product: The big one and cover Total cost: $1200 Bought the Big One to be delivered as a xmas present for my son in Austin. Somehow in all the details they gathered they managed to: 1. delivery it early (didn't call me to let me know) 2. delivery it to the wrong location (delivered to the Austin store instead of his home) 3. incomplete order (sac showed up but not the $400 cover) 4. overcharged me $200, then in the mix of fixing this delivery nightmare, realized it and got it refunded 5. had a backorder on the cover (never communicated) Look, these are nice items, don't get me wrong, but for $1200 you expect way more than you get as far as service goes. All of the snags we hit I had to find out about on my own. I shouldn't of had to chase my tail and waste my team trying to find where the thing had been delivered or when the cover was coming in. In addition to my efforts in getting it resolved, my son braved the austin traffic twice to pickup what should have been there on 12/28. Bad experience. Don't have a lot of love for the lovesac right now. read more

I have been to this store multiple times. On first glance it isn't much. There are bean bags all over the place and a few couches. But, when you sit down it makes the trip in worth it. The staff are friendly. They always greet you when you walk in. They are not too pushy but are able to answer your questions when you have one. I was a little bothered by the young "shoppers" hanging out in the store, but they were eventually asked to leave. The last thing I want to deal with when looking at furniture are pre-teens. I work with children and love them, but I get enough at work! The "sacs", which most including myself at first would call bean bags, are comfortable. However, I was more interested in the Sactionals (Lovesac couches). The staff on duty gave me a little intro on how they work. I loooooovvveee the line of covers they have right now! They are a mid-century style tweed cover with buttons! It reminds me of a couch I once owned, but newer and more manageable. I did not make a purchase, as my current financial situation did not allow for a new couch. But, once I do have the money, I would definitely consider coming back here for a second look! read more

Great concept, poor execution and delivery. First and last purchase with Lovesac. Our sales person said the couch would arrive in 4 weeks, but it took 12. I brought in my measurements and dimensions of the room and were sold too many pieces for the space. We were told delivery and set up was all to be included, and the Delivery men had no idea how to set up the couch and told me their YouTube video didnt work that they were sent. Took us four hours to set up on our own. Several pieces were broken and had to be glued. I explained all of this to our customer care rep, and they only offered to take back the additional pieces they sold us. For the amount of money we put into these, and the lack of service and care that was returned, we are highly dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

Recently ordered a sactional for my home. The staff at this store was knowledgeable and very friendly. Based off of my experience these couches are more comfortable and much sturdier than those offered by competitors. Additionally the customer service was by far above and beyond what I would expect. Two of the smaller accessories that I ordered were on back order at the time of purchase. When I called the store for more information the manager on duty found that they had the two pieces I was missing in store. She held them for me without hesitation and was happy help me get my complete order asap. read more

Greetings neighbor, Value is everything. In business, there is something called a value proposition. It's a simple way of saying "this is why the cost of our goods and services is worth it." LoveSac has the best value proposition of ANY furniture. I'll explain, because some people get caught up in the Kool-Aid and don't even know the flavor. (My dad is the reason why I would make an Aerosmith reference). I say this with respect because I understand that some people disagree, but I think negative reviews are simply rooted in a genuine negative experience that doesn't reflect the reality. I want to start by saying I went into the store for years before purchasing, and I now have 6 bases, 5 sides, 1 super sac (and cover), 2 deep cup holders, 2 throw pillows. I am a satisfied consumer and my LoveSac assets will only grow as my family grows. So what adds value to furniture? Would you agree it's elements like being washable, changeable, configurable, durable, expandable and comfortable? ME TOO! I'm glad we are on the same page. LoveSac is ALL of those things. So would you rather pay half the price for something that is not even half as good and lacks the warranty and longevity of LoveSac or would you rather get what you pay for and 10, 20, 50 years from now be happy with a decision to commit to superior furniture? As for customer service, I was very pleased. My primary point of contact was Barbara. The positive rapport Barbara developed with my whole family keeps us coming back. Whenever we go to the Stonebriar Mall for non-furniture reasons, my wife always tells me, "we need to say hi to our LoveSac friends." Barbara consistently keeps us in the loop and serves us whenever we need help. For example, one time we had a cover that needed some sewing and she handled it with expediency. Is there room for improvement? YES! The delivery wasn't executed like I expected, but it had as much to do with the 3rd party used for fulfillment. Yes, it's on LoveSac management to fix the logistics and performance, but it doesn't merit a negative review. It's like someone going to the Denver Broncos last pre-season game of 2015 and being upset about the result when 3rd stringers played the majority of the game. Guess what: some of those guys missed the cut and THE BRONCOS WENT ON TO WIN THE SUPER BOWL! Which my family and I watched from our AMAZING LoveSac furniture.
