Banh mi tacos! Amazing, they are so well constructed and the slaw on the side is perfect. Carne asada tacos, really quality meat and nice crispy chunks. Salsa with chips is nice and smokey. Their habenero salsa has a great taste, not too hot to enjoy the flavor. Margarita was fresh made. So we got a churo for kicks, even though I usually don't like they, wow they are great! read more

The ordering process is super easy and each selection had substitution options along with any additional charges clearly noted. Our order came out on time, hot and labeled properly. And the chips that day were soooo good!!! They were light and perfectly fried. We love ordering from Dilla Libre because their menu has something for everyone. A favorite amongst Phoenix vegans, Dilla Libre has been on my list for quite some time. Nestled in a random strip mall, you don't expect much at the door. The space itself is very charming and themed decor. I enjoyed the overall feel of the restaurant and our server was friendly. We ordered vegan Elote and the vegan california dilla. Talk about strong flavors! The elote was delicious, but know that it is jam packed with flavors and spice. The dilla was also good, and really enjoyed the fries combo. It was, however, too sodium filled for my palate. The cheese was melted to perfection and almost made me question whether or not it was vegan. They do have a happy hour which definitely caught my attention. Really appreciate that they have so many vegan options and are conscious of that fact. This place is the bomb!!! (Do people still say that??) I have found my go/to Mexican food spot. I love that it has so many options for vegetarians/vegans where they have a whole menu of options, some which include the beyond meat substitutes which are delicious. My first bite of beyond carne asada fries confirmed what I already expected: we would have to come back to try more of the menu. We tried the beyond carne asada fries, Buffalo cauliflower bites and I had the chickpea chorizo Dilla and my hubby had a California Dilla with beyond carne asada. Everything was SO FREAKING GOOD. Like makes you do the happy dance because your taste buds are singing good. It is refreshing to have food that's full of flavor and delivers exactly what it promises. This is a no frills restaurant with an easy going vibe. Our server was really nice and our service was great, even though she had the whole place to her self. Perfectly seasoned and cooked potatoes with chili's. Another must is their bahn mi tacos! So much flavor! Their margarita mason jars are huge and delicious. Before it was a restaurant the food truck always had great food. This was my first time in the restaurant after all this time. Food was still great! I was a little shocked that there was only one front of house staff person doing EVERYTHING. The place was busy for Friday night dinner time & he handled it well but it wasn't necessarily efficient & most folks were waiting in various stages of their meal experience. The food is very good. Both the Bahn Migo and California quesadillas were tasty and would be ordered again. I did ask for the California burrito, but got the quesadilla. Still good, but would have been nice to try the burrito. It's the cost that got me. It is not a huge portion and $34 for two quesadillas is expensive. They have an entire vegan menu and there were tons of options for gluten free (both in the regular and vegan menus). I've gone with omnivores and vegans. Both will be happy. I've had bahn mi tacos, guac, chips and queso, fries, tots, the Napoleon bowl and a few other things. Horchata is on point. The bathroom is trippy. There are little prints as wallpaper. Had lunch with a friend who lives near this location and we had it delivered. WOW. My California burrito with plant based asada and vegan cheese and fries was crazy good. This place is amazing! We were here on an overnight stay in Phoenix and dropped in for quite the surprise. The service was amazing and we were treated like royalty. The menu is several pages with starters, gourmet quesadillas, tacos, burritos, and a few pages for strictly vegan items. Since the quesadillas seem to be the star of the show, I focused on those pages. They have a good variety that can cater to anyone's taste. It looked like there was a pretty extensive tequila list too. Service was chill and friendly. I decided to go with the Napoleon dynamite dilla (carne asada, cheese, tater tots, pico de Gallo, and tapatio crema sauce). My girlfriend got chicken tacos. They bring chips and a mild salsa out for the table upon arrival. I was a fan of the food. The quesadillas are huge and jam packed with the fillings you order. I was stuffed and could a barely finish mine. I thought the flavor was great. I would definitely come back to try their other options. The vegan Napoleon dynamite is SOO good Like one of my new favorite dishes ever. Also tried one of each vegan taco, their Mac and cheese, rice & beans, and the Thai quesadilla. (All vegan). We didn't care for the Mac & cheese, and the rice and beans didn't have much flavor. The quesadillas and the tacos though are just so good that the other items don't matter :P The few times I've been in there, customer service was always very welcoming. The ambiance is great as well. This location is in a little strip mall on Northern and you might zip right by it, but I encourage you to turn around and come back. Such a great setting inside with candles, awesome music play list, amazing service. This isn't just a standard restaurant. Probably some of the best Mexican food I've had in my life. It's the combo of flavors together, presentation, perfect quantity. Also, great amazing meat dishes, but a decent vegetarian and vegan selection as well.
