I want to make one thing perfectly Clear don't buy the VIP service that they try to sell you. I listened to their high-pressure sales speech and bought it because it is supposed to save you money on your service over the next 3 years. I owned my 2020 Road Glide Special which I added a stage 3 ( with Tax, license, Stage 3 I spent about $38,000.00) and owned for about 9 months. At that time it was involved in an accident and the bike was totaled. I went in today to talk about getting some kind of refund off the $3800. I spent on it. First of all, I waited for about 20 minutes to see the sales manager, at that point I realized that I would be there for a long time, so when I talked to the person helping me I was told that I would receive a phone call which never happened. Ray. What more is there to say! From the first phone call and my text messages, he was really helpful. So much so that my wife and I flew out to Phoenix on Wednesday AM from San Diego. Ray Picked us up from the airport, drove us around, and then to the Dealership. He and the team were GREAT from start to finish. Ray was able to put me in a BEAUTIFUL Road glide at a UNBEATABLE PRICE, answered all my questions, was really helpful, and got us a free T. Really nice guy and not pushy, just like a solid Dude. The finance guy was great. He went over all the paperwork and then showed me the options for warranty, but he was NOT pushy at all and I loved that he made us feel like we could trust him. I did not buy any warranty and it was no big deal, the finance guy was happy for our new Bike! I walked out into the showroom and all the horns honkin and engines revin, I rang that purchase bell and it felt great that the entire dealership took part in the celebration! Wife and I got out of there about 1:45 and we were off. We road 400 miles back to San Diego in 113 degrees. WHEW, that was NOT a fun ride, but Great at the same time. We ended up getting in at about 11:00 pm. Guess who checked on our progress multiple times during our trip? You guessed it, Ray. I sent him a picture of the bike in the Garage when I got home so he knew we made it home alive. Just really grateful and blessed by Desert Wind Harley. I would recommend Ray and the crew to ANY of my California OR AZ friends. To be honest, glad I got an AZ bike that doesn't have any of the BS CA emission crap on it. Ok took 2021 Roadglide Limited in with engine light on dash the code shows a throttle error. The bike had idle issues. The service manager said it was the air cleaner and slip on mufflers causing the error. I have never mapped a bike with mufflers and screaming eagle exhaust. I was told by Lou the service manager told me that they would not offer warranty service without the $253.00 dollar download. So they had me pay for unneeded download and if I donot pay for this no Warranty work will be performed on the 2021 Roadglide. So no warranty work on bike unless I pay for download. When you buy a $35,00 dollar bike and I question there service direction I was told to leave if I didnot like there service. So Lou you need to lighten up and show some concern instead of telling the customer to shut up and go else where. LOU I have used this dealer for over 23 years. This is the last time I bring my bike in for service or purchase on in the future. I thought customers were correct but not at Desert Wind. Guys you lost a long time loyal customer for life. In the future you need to treat your customers like customers not a person you can scream at and tell them to go else were. You guys need to help your customers not alienate. Do not do business with these people, They Lye and do not follow through with promises. While the floor staff are friendly they have no authority to make the deal! You will deal with at least 2 other people besides the sales person. The Story: After doing a pre-qualification I called on Friday to ask for a quote on the bike I wanted with accessories. Person never returned call with a quote. Should have been a clue but I tried anyway and went in on Saturday. Told the sales person I wanted a quote on the bike I pointed out with accessories. He refused to give me one saying everything changes when we add in financing. Sorry, but I don't understand how the base price of a bike changes based on financing! Interest rates and terms yes, but not the price of the bike. Again, should have walked away but they said take a test drive and I will have a quote when you come back. I did and they didn't! Instead they came back saying I needed to put $10K down and have $800 per month payments but no price quote. As I have very good credit and my wife has excellent credit (700 and 780 scores) I said no and went to leave again telling them I wanted the deal they had sent out or I wasn't buying a bike. Then they say "Ok give me a few minutes and I will see what we can do". This time he comes back with $3900 down and $700 per month payments. I again said no! I want the 0 down 0% and no payments for 280 days as advertised or no deal and went to leave. Then the third guy comes in because the one offering the deal couldn't even tell us the interest rate or why the payments were so high. This guy comes back with 0 down but back up to $800 per month payments and no deferments. When I pulled up what the loan should cost based on the interest rate he was quoting he couldn't explain why His payment was so high. So I left the show room to leave. He came outside and said "OK, I can do 0 down, no payment until 2021 but this is your interest rate" It was reasonable so I said OK and signed the deal. Now I wanted my parts that I had ordered on the bike. Did they put them on Nope! I left the bike and asked for a call to tell me when they would put them on. In the interim they came to my house and took my trade in. When I had not received a call back and they were getting ready to close I called to again inquire as to when the parts would be put on. Spoke to 3 people and no one would tell me when I could expect the parts. Finally someone called me to say they could put on the parts they had in stock tomorrow and the rest would have to be ordered. That wasn't so difficult! But all the parts are still not on the bike and who knows when I will see them. Oh, by the way the financing is not as agreed as I just found out! read more

I went into Desert Wind just to browse bikes (that I had inquired through the internet on) and had no intention on purchasing that day. I was greeted at the door by a few of the guys that worked there, and one took me back to where I needed to go. I ended up having Cole show me around and when I found out the bike I was interested in was sold, he showed me a couple other options. I fell in love with a Street Bob. We spoke with Bryan to see what the numbers would be. We spoke about it and I decided if they could make my deal I would buy the bike....Bryan delivered! From walking into the shop browsing bikes to walking out a proud new owner of a new to me Harley Davidson I could not be more happy. Everyone there was awesome, and not once did I ever feel pressured. Everyone was friendly, professional and made me feel so comfortable. ZERO STARS ZERO STARS BEWARE I walked into this place to look at the new live wire bike just to look and maybe buy 1 they didn't have 1 so i gave ray my number which i hate giving my number to dealerships cause they normally will call and harass you until you buy something and he said ill keep you in the loop ray has not been a problem but his co workers are i have got 6 calls from girls asking why i have not bought a bike or what they have to do to sell me a bike they dont care about me or the bike i want they only care about the sale and your money last night i got a call at 830pm asking what i have not bought a bike or what they have to do to sell me a bike so i will never go to this dealer again i recommend triumph across the street ray was nice he put notes on my account to not call me at all that he is the only person to communicate with me but his money hungry sale crazy coworkers kept calling and harassing me to buy or why im not buying you dont have the bike i want to look at so im waiting but they cant they just want me to buy something anything so much for riding a live wire bike read more

Made an appointment with Marcin to come and look at and test ride a specific bike. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appt time and Marcin was not to be found. The very friendly receptionist directed me to a salesperson. I informed the salesperson what I was there for. He took me outside and walked to an area of bikes and he half heartedly looked around in a circle and then told me it sold. I said are you sure.....oh yea, it sold.....The way he responded left me suspect of his answer.....he never attempted to ask anyone else about the bike......I didn't want to call him a liar, but I strongly suspected he wasn't being forthcoming to me. Then he started super high pressure sales with bikes out of my price range, which I told him that several times. I did get to test ride two Road Glides. After getting home, I emailed Marcin and told him the deal, and I asked if the bike had sold, like I had been told. Dustin Rider, Asst sales manager responded to me......He advised it was in service being washed........he did say he was sorry.......Probably won't be back for two reasons.......I was intentionally mislead and my sales person was super high pressure and didn't listen to a word I said............ read more

As a returning customer one would think that the service would be good. The service in your parts department was less than satisfactory. The gentleman working the counter on 3/12 was less than helpful with a lousy attitude. We purchased our Harley from Desert Winds but could not get them to help with a key fob. The parts department only wanted to sell us a security when they could have told us we could get the system reset for a much cheaper price. Thank you for nothing. We went to another dealer, that we had never been to and they went above and beyond for us. We will take our business to Road Runner Harley!!!! We will make sure that we tell everyone we know not to go to Desert Winds. Our sales person TJ did not help either. She said there was a PIN number written on our paperwork when in fact there was no Pin anywhere on our paperwork. You dealership is all about the sale and not about the customer. read more

Parts department had just what i was looking for. A quick talk to the service department and had some other questions answered and then on to motor clothes where the wife and kid were happily shopping, great stuff. *Review is for rental department*- It's a long read but the worst part was after I was involved in a crash the employee told me I need to "learn how to ride" -- On Friday May 22nd I picked up a bike at the Mesa location in Phoenix, AZ and immediately after leaving the location I realized that the right hand mirror was loose and just spinning around, so I made it one block down the road and turned around. After getting back to the building I notified the employee (General Manager, Stone) that the bike was broken and asked for help. Stone pointed to a tool box and said "We have tools" and insinuated that I get to work. So I did.. After about 20 minutes of trying to tighten the stripped mirror mount I quickly realized that this was broken and was not fixable with a socket wrench and a 17 mm to hold the mirror. (after owning and working on many bikes and riding for 25 years) After Stone tried to fix it with a rag and a set of channel locks to no avail I then asked if we could have the service department take a look, mind you I am close to an hour into my rental now. The service department could not fix the mirror and we were then back to square one. Stone was not very quick to offer me another bike and did not mention that he was the General Manager until I told him I was going inside to speak with someone because this customer service was ridiculous and I am not paying to fix a rental bike. Shortly after they offered me another bike, the BMW GS, which I was happy to take at first. It wasn't until I got home that I realized this bike had not been used since the week of 02/28 due to the papers in the panniers. I was aware the bike wasn't washed but I didn't think that meant the bike was neglected for the last 6 weeks. The tire pressure was low, the rear tire was cupping and bald, the front suspension would wobble, even on the highway, if you let your hands off the bars even the slightest. The point I am making is this bike should not have even left the garage in the first place. On day two of my rental I was involved in a crash that resulted in me fracturing my clavicle. This was a slow speed wash out around a corner where I must have hit a patch of loose material on the road and went down. I am not blaming the condition of the bike as the direct result of me crashing but I know it certainly did not help. (I have pictures comparing the rear tire of this bike to rears of the ofthe GS's in the garage) Now, why I am most upset with this program and I'm asking for my membership to be canceled and my unused credits/funds to be returned to me is because how to staff treated me after the crash. After I was treated in the ER I called the Eagle Rider location and spoke with the GM Stone. I asked what the protocol is for someone after a crash and what the best course of action would be. The first thing Stone said to me was "since I didn't pay the extra 9 bucks for the roadside it was all on me" which left me very confused. - I am a paying monthly member, I pay for the "full-coverage" insurance that Eagle Rider offers, I can't use my credit card insurance because I have to use yours or you'll put a $5,000 hold on my card, and yet I still am responsible for returning your bike after a crash with no assistance from the insurance I paid for or being part of "the club". I either had to pay roughly $400 to leave it at the nearest Eagle Rider location in Flagstaff, AZ or pay nearly $500 to tow it back to Phoenix. After several calls and emails to corporate I was able to cancel my membership but it wasn't easy. This company is a complete joke. Please refund me for my remaining credits! read more

Rentals from Pam is a no-go. Because they are closed on Monday(Labor Day) she would not rent a 3 day rental. Saturday Sunday Monday(they are closed Monday)is all I wanted. Told her I would have bike back first thing Tuesday. She said that would be 4 days. Told I have to work Tuesday, could not ride bike. She did not care at all. I didn't go there to argue with anybody. WTF! Went to to Harley Davidson Scottsdale (480) 905-1903 where the rental went perfect. Dan at Scottsdale rented me a brand new 2017 street glide "107". 3 days return Tuesday morning. Saved over $150. Scottsdale Harley has an awesome display floor many bikes on display. Customer service is outstanding. It's a 40 minute drive for me but it's worth it. Hope things get better in Mesa! read more

Great service when You're there buying a bike. Terrible service in service. My battery died and no one can come pick it up. Yet when I'm purchasing the bike they have roadside assistance that will "help me whenever." Now they can't get someone over here for 2 days. So I tried to take in the battery that clearly says it will be replaced if fails before 24 months. It's been 14 max. Just gonna go buy a battery somewhere else. read more

The worse attitude belongs to Sara in service. She constantly talks shit and spreads rumors about customers.
