Had an oil/filter change performed on my HDWG at the local HARLEY DEALER. Up to that point, my garage floor was drip-free. I gave the dealer a chance to fix there mistake, but returned my bike with same issue..drip, drip, drip. Bloody Knuckles had done some upgrades to my bike in the past, so I returned to them. The guys here were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I quickly felt like my bike was in good hands. Not even a week later (despite being busy) I had an estimate and timeframe for repairs. 3 weeks later and I'm riding around again and my bike is running better than ever. If you're looking for a shop to take care of you then I can't recommend these guys highly enough. They'll take care of your bike like it was their own. I called this place and let them know I'm looking to get a rear tire replaced and wanted to get some quotes on tires. I gave my bike year make and model. I listed 3 out of 4 tires I wanted quoted and the guy who answered says "man that's a lot of tires you want me to look up you've named like 5 already. You don't know which tire you want?" To which I replied "yes there's 4 different tires I want to see what the price would be". All 4 of my tire choices are very similar and good high end tires. But due to the condescending nature of the guys phone I just told him to have a good day and hung up. Giving quotes and options to different tires is something that's extremely normal in this industry. If you don't want to do the job, get a different job. This place definitely lost 350-400$ of business all over not wanting to do a 4 minute search that Nash, Ridenow, and other motorcycle shops were willing to do. If you're this upset about doing a 3 minute search on your computer, how will your attitude be when working on my bike. No thank you. read more

I stopped in to this place based on recommendations from FB members. I was looking to have my HD looked at/listened to in order to determine the source of, what I thought was, an engine noise and then get it scheduled for repair. I was told by the guy behind the counter that I needed to leave it for a couple days and that they don't do appointments. He said, if it needed repairs, I'd have to wait for the 30 or so projects he had lined up to get it in. Somewhere in the conversation he also mentioned he only had one mechanic working that day. Anyway, that all seemed a little odd and so I just left and went elsewhere (turned out the noise was only a broken heat shield bracket). This place came highly recommended, but I have no idea if they're worthy since I wasn't able to even get it looked at, let alone get it in for repairs. It's good for them to be so busy, I guess, but not so good for people on this side of the counter. read more

Where do I begin... I had an unpainted front fairing for my XSR700 and wanted a very specific paint job. After much research, I discovered BK. From the moment I walked in, the guys were super cool, totally professional and down to earth. They do work for imports and domestics, which is great because I also have a Harley. The turnaround was incredibly quick. From the time they called with a quote, to the time I picked up the fairing was about 4 days. I was floored. The workmanship on the paint was astonishing! Put the wrong throttle cables on my bike when I questioned it before I left he said that's the way they come just don't twist it backwards which is nonsense. Took it to a different shop they said it was they wrong cables for the make of my bike. So now I am paying to have it done again by another shop. read more

This shop worked on my bike 3 times to fix a leak, charged me $450 in total and never fixed the leak. When I tried to bring it in for the 4th time he stated that they were busy so I asked if I could make an appointment he stated they don't take appointments. I then tried to get a partial refund so I could get it fixed elsewhere and the owner never responded to my request. No sense of urgency at all to get my leak fixed! read more

This is a great shop to have work done.. They cater to your needs and have plenty of experience to help you with upgrading your scoot. I had them replace a twin cam motor on my 1999 Roadking, (original mileage was 170K miles)...it was a Harley reman and all went awesome..2 years later and 20K miles later no troubles.. They have great prices on tires and other maintainence jobs and use top grade parts and fluids.. The second Big job they did for me was to repair my broken motor on my 2011 Roadglide Ultra..67K miles.. Sammy and Jeff took the engine apart and have replaced numerous parts that became defective over the years causing clunking and other noises which resulted in great loss of power! Shawn the owner told me they were going to send the flywheel assy out for balancing. he frequently gave me updates on progress..Balancing has made this engine run smoother and stronger than when new. When they are done with a job for my bikes ,no matter the size of the job, I leave Bloody Knuckles feeling confident the job was completed correctly. I was quoted $24.00 to change out the o rings in my gas tank check valves when I picked up my tank the bill was $122.97!!. I said That I was quoted $24.00 AND THEY WERE EXTREMELY NICE ABOUT TAKING MY MONEY.The Harley dealership said they would do it for $55.00 . I wish I just went to the dealer. Be aware. Shaune and the crew installed T-Man 555TQ cams in my bike last week. After getting the canned map from Vance and Hines with the new cams and a little auto running the the bike is running awesome. I definitely feel the power bump and I love the sound. Very pleased with Shaune and his crew. The bike was spotless when I picked her up. Had to replace the balding tires that came stock on the bike. Had them put on michelins and have not had issues since. Replaced my brakes, awesome job, adjusted my softtail shocks free of charge and then cleaned my bike when they were done. I felt I just gotten a newer version of my bike. I will use these guys again. I had broke a exhaust stud on my Harley Davidson. i had Bloody Knuckles come pick the bike up from my job being that it was not able to ride. I got the bike back 3 days later and was told it was all fixed and good to go. a week later the pipe fell of while riding and i had found that they had broken a big chunk out of the side of the head and tried to cover it up and did not tell me. i have pictures to show and prove what they have done as well as many many witnesses to prove i have not tampered with it in anyway. the bike now needs hundreds of dollars in repairs because of what they did and they did and they are denying responsibility 100% when they are absolutely the ones who broke it. read more

I have been taking my motorcycle to Bloody Knuckles for years. I think they have the best motorcycle mechanics in Az. They are very friendly and Shaune and Jeff explain everything to you so you know what to expect when you get the bill and pick up your bike. Every time I have picked up my bike it was always cleaner then when I dropped it off. I'm not sure what the guy's do when they wash it but it works for me! Also I have found that Bloody Knuckles has the best prices on tires. I would never take my bike anywhere else bottom line. read more

Example...got a reasonable quote of $500 went to pick up bike and it was more without a phone call telling me.Drive belt was WAY too tight. This guy is a crook..had my bike for 6 weeks without knowing what was wrong so finally I decided to come get it so someone competent could work on it and he tells me I have a 160 dollar bill for him looking at it for 2 hours! Now if that's not bad enough once I get there to try to maybe negotiate it down to 80 or a hundred dollars this fool had the nerve to show me a bill for 250 and said you can pay it or get the fuck out of my shop! I went to this shop to have a second opinion about my bike leaking oil because something didn't feel right. I was told by the dealership I had blown head gaskets and was looking at over 500 dollars to repair it. When Bloody knuckles looked at it they said it was just my front rocker box leaking, and would only be about half that. I could not believe that I almost paid for nothing. Not only did Bloody Knuckles repair it but they also did my my rear rocker box to make sure it was also ok, at no extra cost. This shop will have my business for now on. I rated this shop 5 stars and they deserve all 5. I would have rated them 6 if possible. My V Star 650 was running way too lean, and I couldn't fix it on my own. I took it to Bloody Knuckles because a co-worker and fellow motorcycle enthusiast highly recommended the shop. They found the problem with the carburetor very quickly, drilled out a frozen mixture screw and ordered up another for me. They put up with my whining, and moaning about the wait for the part to come in with flying colors. I'm a basket case without my bike. I picked it up and Jeff brought her out for me already running like a Swiss watch. They took great care of my bike, and I picked it up cleaner than it was when I dropped it off. The cost of the repairs was very reasonable, and they did a spot on perfect job. My bike never ran this well! They've earned my trust and I'll be back for all my bike's maintenance needs.
