I can't believe I have never written a review on this place as I've been here tons of times. I guess looking at motorcycles just caused my mind to short circuit on everything else. Kelly's is a wondrous place, full of that new motorcycle smell that enters the blood stream as soon as you walk in and take a breath, bathing you in happiness. Their sales staff are low key which is nice as nobody likes to be dogged around a showroom floor. They have an amazing selection of motorcycles too, everything from Kawa's to Triumphs and Ducatis. Royal Enfield's are in abundance as well. I've never used their service department so I can't speak to that, but they have a pretty solid parts department. I'm a big fan of Japanese bikes. So having a place that doesn't start with Ride Now or Harley is my own private paradise. read more

Bought a new zx6r here. Worked with Charlie. A couple of texts back and forth and we had a deal. I was concerned about the bearing recall but him and his mechanic team had everything resolve ready to go with paperwork. I sent him my CC and put the deposit down That is the day we got that crazy rain storm. I live down the street and our side of town was having internet/power issues so we couldn't finalize the order. Charlie kept me up to date throughout the whole day up until they were closing. I wasn't in a hurry so we just pushed it to the next day (plus I didn't wanna ride home in the rain). Got there the next day and Charlie had the bike all prepped and ready to roll. Introduced me to the mechanic and it was just an amazing experience. Showed me a couple new things with the bike since I mentioned my last bike was an 08. If you are buying a Kawasaki this is the only choice. No rush, no pushing, no hassle and just great service. Came by to get a feel for the dealership. Will be buying a Ninja 650 from a private sale soon and needed to get some gear (first time rider) and had some questions about getting the bike serviced. The vibe is awesome and welcoming. Was greeted upon entering and there were zero pressure as I looked around. Niko from Service was great, answered my questions and explained the process. Brandon from Parts got me measured and kitted with a helmet, gloves and pants. Got to shoot the wind with Jim from Parts as well, who helped me a month back over email. And Derek from Sales made time to chitchat with how it's like to ride in AZ traffic. All I can say is my anxiety as a first time rider became excitement thanks to these guys. They're enthusiastic, patient, attentive, and really just great guys to talk to. I have no doubt my bike will be in good hands at Kelly's, the culture and people here backs that up. read more

I hate to do this. I really love all the people at Kelly's. But I'm throughly disappointed in their service department. Took my bike in for the 4000 mile check up (2023 Ninja 650), it was returned to me missing my jam nuts that stabilize my rear axle. When I called they said "the vibrations can make that wiggle off" but that's bullsh*t. I've removed and replaced those before and they don't just shake off. I had to haul the bike in to get that replaced because they stated it was not safe to ride I have also had a consistent oil leak since they had my bike, turns out my drain plug was barely even finger tight. Much less tightened to spec. Do not go here if you want your bike to be safe after it's serviced. Any issues you have they will blame on vibrations and refuse to take accountability for their negligence. So I got to pay $300 for a service that was done improperly if at all, and now have not been able to ride my bike for 2 weeks because I need to have it inspected by another technician to ensure it's even safe. I was able to get a refund but the service manager argued with me the whole time. Stating I wasn't seeing and oil leak, it's just a lot of chain lube, things just vibrate off, stuff like that. I was also told I was overreacting about my jam nuts and that they wouldn't have caused me any issues, however, they told me it was not safe to ride. My bike is my daily driver, I'm now losing money paying for gas in my other vehicle to get around because they failed. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. Initially went to Ridenow and I'm glad I left and never came back. Never bought a Kawasaki before (or let alone a new bike for that matter) but from the Sales guy John, to the finance department Kerstin, to the service and parts guys, everyone was super nice, transparent and straightforward. No BS or high pressure sales model, and I was told the salesmen make a flat 2 digit number for his or her "commission" if you could really even call it that. I rarely leave any reviews in Yelp, but my husband and I's recent experience at Kelly's Kawasaki warrants one. I can't say enough good things about Kelly's! My husband and I ended up looking at motorcycles here after we had an absolutely terrible experience at RideNow Chandler. We worked with Joey and he was nothing short of a pleasure to work with. Everyone there was nothing but genuine and you could tell they really valued you as a customer and their goal was not to make the most money on each deal, but make you a customer for life. Zero headaches. Zero pressure to get something we didn't really want or need. Zero feeling like we were even trying to even be sold on anything. All the employee's had incredible knowledge of the bikes there, whether it be sales, service, or parts. And the friendliness extended to all the employees we encountered at Kelly's. There's a reason the mom and pop motorcycle shop has been around for over 40 years, they just know the value of true customer service. Unlike other folks, I hate the process of buying a vehicle of any kind. I dislike dealing with salesman and dealerships. After a terrible experience with Ridenow PowerSports in Phoenix, I contacted Kelly's Kawasaki in Mesa via email. Enrique Mauleon was honest with a genuine interest in customer satisfaction. We got our Mule Pro-FXT Ranch delivered to our home 140 miles from the dealership, at a good price, less than others wanted even without delivery. It was so refreshing to transact business with a dealership that cares about their customers, not just trying to squeeze the last penny out of them. Another person that needs mention is Kerstin, who handled the paperwork and made it easy as well. We bought our Mule Pro-FXT Ranch without ever stepping foot into the dealership and it was delivered to our home by a courteous young man! Kelly's Kawasaki and their employees made the process, not only bearable, but painless! Enrique followed up with us after the side by side was delivered, to make sure everything was right and we were satisfied! The ONLY thing is either Kelly's Kawasaki ownership/management or Kawasaki Motors that wouldn't allow the side by side being registered street legal. Worst Buying experience ever. Purchased a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500. Was given the incorrect Vin for vehicle. Had to go back to sign new paperwork. I was told the updated info was sent to my Credit union. It was not. I had to call the credit union and Kellys Kawasaki multiple times to resolve this issue. Additionally gave them my current address verbally and on paper. still got the wrong adress. I didnt Recieve my title or registration and I was forced to pay to get a new plate and registration. I've been buying parts and getting service from Kelly's for over a year now for my Vulcan S, including navigating a major insurance claim. I've had nothing short of the best experience with them in every situation. Their people have always been helpful and knowledgeable, including on the technical details of some very specific questions I've had that I couldn't find clear answers to online. Andrew in the service department has been indispensable in helping me navigate a very complex and unusual insurance claim, where a renter from an online platform damaged the bike on both sides. It involved multiple parties and a very small, unresponsive insurance company. Andrew easily knew what to knew, how to handle it, and how to get things rolling along smoothly in an otherwise murky situation. He was in close contact throughout the process, while also being informative on complex what-if scenarios, and responsive to phone calls and questions. His multiple decades of experience dealing with insurance really made the difference vs a newer tech or shop that might have improvised. When the claim first came around, at that point I was only familiar with Kelly's for parts and accessories. I only had good experiences and that's why I called Kelly's first when I was considering them, RideNow, or Nash for my claim. The service from Andrew and his team matched and exceeded the high expectations I had from my prior experiences. Couldn't have done it without them! read more

Upsetting time at kelly's, was working with a salesman for 3 days on purchasing a used zx10rr. Had an appointment in which i made it known to the salesmen that we intended to pay for the bike in full after we had finished our negotiations. After pulling out Cash to pay for the bike we made our way there. About 15 minutes before we got there we were notified the bike had been sold from under us. we were offered a deposit about 20 minutes before the upsetting phone call and we declined as we were given no indication that we would not be able to fulfill the transaction as we had made an appointment with kelly's to do so. Upset and frankly disgusted by the ethics practiced at kelly's toward a potential customer. I would not recommend you do business here. read more

Requested a service quote through their website and was surprised at how quickly I got a response. Even better is was the service manager Dave. Saved answered all of my questions, even providing detailed estimates/quotes and even took pictures of some parts for description. All of this should be the norm in customer service but sadly it isn't. Dave and these guys made me feel like I was a regular customer even though I had never been there or even talked to them, this was all through email! I ended up scheduling for the service a few weeks out so some parts could be ordered. Dave even emailed me the morning of the appointment to confirm. I showed up, had my work down, and was on my way in around an hour. Overall this was a great experience and I was impressed. No frills, just efficient and did what they said they were going to do. Well I did have my review at 4 stars until I recieved a Kawasaki credit card in the mail which I didn't authorize. I called to ask when that was approved and apparently it's burried deep in the fine print for your CREDIT CHECK! That's right... if they run your credit score expect a credit card to come with it! To make things more sketchy, they make sure not to give you a copy of this application so you have no proof of your own. To put icing on the cake their solution was "If you don't want it just call and cancel the card"... sounds like shoving unwanted credit cards at people is a normal thing for them. Aside from the sketchy credit card, they didn't bother cleaning up their absurd overspray of chain lube all over my tire, wheel, and cat. Also,the brake lights on my bike were stuck on when I got home... must have some real bright service techs back there that don't have a care in the world for other peoples property. Lastly, the lender they go through for finnancing your bike is a JOKE!... first off they have insanely high interest rates. Secondly, THEY REQUIRE YOU TO MAIL IN YOUR PAYMENTS. They don't have a freakin website to pay through?!?! Is it 1950?!?!... but don't worry you can set up auto payments but you have to send in your account and routing number for your bank account THROUGH THE MAIL SYSTEM! Good luck to everyone out there that looks for a bike here... theres about a 99.9% chance you get shafted one way or another. Previous review: Awesome staff and service... they were running pretty slow for me however they seemed to be very busy so I overlooked the speed.... only reason it isn't a 5 star is because it felt a little disorganized and they prepped the wrong bike at first so I had to wait extra. read more

Great place only 1 minor complaint. I did my own financing and even knew what I wanted before even going in. I called by phone asked for a sales guy and asked if they had the unit in stock. They did so I called my bank and had them get the info from Kelly's finance dept. they both worked together and I picked up my ski a few days later. Easy Peasy for everyone. Sales guy probably got his easiest commissions ever. Super happy with my ski and how easy it was. Great friendly people. Only sort of complaint is I just spent $10,000 dollars and asked hey could I maybe get a Kellys t-shirt and hat and they wouldn't throw one in. . read more

I'm not about to give these guys a 1 star, because I have had some good experiences there. My last visit not so much. One of the reasons I'm told a simple oil change is so expensive is because they also detail your bike. I figured detailing is nice and all, I may as well pay the extra money to get my bike detailed on top of getting my oil change. Upon my last visit, not only did they refrain from cleaning the bike at all like I supposedly pay for them to do. They also told me a couple more things were wrong with my bike. Due to a past experience where I caught them in a lie saying something was wrong and I needed to pay extra to fix it. When I mentioned my warranty they came back "Oh sorry, I guess it doesn't need to be fixed, its working correctly". On this visit they told me my Hydraulics were "dark" and need to be replaced and one more thing. I took the bike to my friends motorcycle shop where he informed me there was nothing wrong with my hydraulics or the other things that Kelly's Kawasaki mentioned and they were just trying to get more money out of me again. I'll not be returning here next time. Update: Manager called me and asked what they could do to keep my business. Offered me a free cleaning to make up for not having gotten my bike cleaned when I was last in there. I appreciate that. read more

I honestly can't say I've been to a worse cycle store. I've dealt with this place in both parts and service and they get nothing right. I've ordered parts that, after explaining in detail what I need, had the wrong part ordered. "I know exactly what you're talking about." Famous last words. Common parts that they don't even stock. I took my bike there to have a service done. The guy told me there would be a wait because they have so much work ahead of my bike. I'm patient, but after almost 2 weeks, right when I'm about to call, I get a LETTER IN THE MAIL saying they DON'T HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER to contact me. I called them and they not only had a number, but the RIGHT NUMBER. I had to wait for something in the mail when these guys had my number. The service guy said it was some woman's number. I called my number from work. It was the generic computer voice. Yes, a female computer voice. When I called back a couple of days later, he said he'd been trying to call that number, but it still didn't work. Every phone I used reached my phone. Two days later, the one person in a motorcycle store who knows how to use a phone called me (same number) to tell me the bike is ready. This is THREE WEEKS LATER. To make up for it, they took a couple bucks off the bill. Now I have a motorcycle that I'm going to have to piece together after having to take it apart and learn how to FIX WHAT THEY BROKE. Loose hoses, incomplete work, garage full of pulled apart motorcycle pieces. It was an expensive lesson to learn, but I will NEVER set foot in this place again and will steer any friend I have away from this DUMP. read more

This review is about the type of people that work at Kelly's Kawasaki. I have no knowledge of who owns the business and have never had any personal relationship with anyone working there at any time. What I can tell you is how they treated me, a total stranger, when I came to them for a favor. If you're like me, you want to work with GOOD people that deserve your money and your time. I can vouch for Kelly's Kawasaki - since even though they knew they weren't going to make a dime off me, they truly treated me with genuine kindness. My husband and I were planning a graduation party for his son that just graduated from MMI (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute). We were also planning to have our first child together, and money was beyond tight. Graduation decorations were an expense we couldn't afford, so I had the bright idea to ask motorcycle dealerships from nearby to give us old posters they didn't need anymore, which we could put all over the house and yard. My thought was that with new models coming out all the time, they'd have to get rid of old model advertising often, so we should be able to get some great donations. I was dead wrong. My husband and I went to every Harley Davidson, Yamaha and Kawasaki dealership and not a single one tried to help us out - except Kelly's. We walked into Kelly's Kawasaki and told them a quick version of what was going on, and the kid at the desk got a manager immediately, who listened to us and then rounded up about 50 different posters for us and put them in a big box for us to take home. They were so kind and considerate to us I started crying I was so grateful (granted I am pregnant). They didn't have to act this way, they could've acted like every single other dealership and not wanted to give us their time or be kind. Instead they were respectful and truly generous with their time and resources. From this act alone, I will never buy from any other dealership, I will always recommend them, and I ask that you consider this local business as your first stop, because they're good people. read more

I have a lot of experience with the parts division, they are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are seriously great- yes even at the dealership. I always check online before making a purchase there and the prices are right on point. The Kawasaki brand items cost around as much as a premium aftermarket but that is a debate about quality some will argue until the cows come home. I took my 2006 Mean streak into the service department today 10/11/2013 due to a small leak I was having. I was told by the service rep that I would need to leave the bike with them so they could track down the leak. Problem being I had no ride home and my roadside service would not cover the trip between my garage and Kellys. Thankfully I was able to talk with one of the Service managers (Josh) and they were able/willing to move a few things around. And within about 90 minutes the bike was fixed and I was on my way. I would highly recommend Kellys Kawasaki to anyone who needs work/service done on their ride ;-) read more

Unfortunately I am forced to give 1 star in order to write a review. Otherwise it be none. Very disappointed in the service I received. Scheduled an appointment with Dave for a valve adjustment on my 2007 zx10r. Very easy to do online so that was a plus. Brought my bike in 3 days early and left it there for 7 days total and told them no rush. Never received a message stating it was done but no big deal, I could have called. Showed up to pick up my bike and saw it sitting in the parking lot. I decided to check it out before going inside to pay and boy was I surprised. My right side lower fairing was broken around the mounting hole. Not a huge deal, but disappointing. I went inside and spoke to Dave about the damage. The bike was in an accident 2 years prior so these were aftermarket fairings that are not the greatest but do the job and were completely intact when the bike was brought in. Dave brought the "technician" out to talk with us and that's were the s**t hit the fan. Dave was completely understanding as he and I had looked the bike over when dropped off and we noted the existing scratches etc. We spoke for a few minutes and Dave was willing to replace the damaged part until the "technician" stated first that "it was brought in like that" then eventually changed his story to" it broke when I took it off and showed Dave" and that "they were cheap Chinese parts anyway." Then proceeded to show me where he broke the other side lower fairing retainer. Said that it came in like that also. I also noted the scuff marks on the rear seat cowl caused by his boots. I ride this bike daily and there is absolutely no possible way this bike was ridden in that condition. We argued back and forth until Dave stated he would waive the $800.00 repair bill and I could take care of the fairings myself. He also stated that I should not return for service! Really? Like I would let one of your hacks touch my ride again. That "technician" shouldn't be allowed to put air in tires much less perform services on people's machines. In the pictures it's clear what happened but since the "technician" denied and passed blame for his poor work, cussed at his customer, called me a f***ing liar, I write this review. I asked for my old water pump that I had requested be replaced with my supplied part and they couldn't find it stating "it must have gotten tossed out." After further examination of the service performed I noticed the valve cover gasket either leaking or they made a huge mess and didn't clean up after themselves. Not sure if they even replaced the spark plugs they were supposed to. Be forewarned to take pictures/video and document any and everything on your machine if you choose to give this hack shop your business. I will not. read more
