If you want poor service and poor communication, this is the place for you! I recently purchase a used Honda scooter that needed new tires. After I purchased the tires, they agreed to install them for me. Since I was getting that done and the scooter was new to me I decided to have them do a tune up on it at the same time. They replaced some spark plugs, checked things, changed the oil, etc. The scooter needed a new air filter, but they did not have any in stock and they told me that it would take 7-10 days to come in. I asked them if I needed to leave it there until it came in and was told that it only takes 10 minutes to install so I could pick it up and they would call me to bring it back when in to bring it back. I paid for everything, including the air filter that was not in yet. When the part came in, they proceeded to tell me that there was a new labor charge to install it . . . even though that was part of the tune up that I already paid for . . . because I did not leave the scooter with them until the part came in. Now, if they had communicated that to me when I asked if I needed to leave it with them until the part came in that would have been fine, but they did not. Unfortunately, regardless of the fact that they did not communicate it to me, they decided that the $40 of labor they wanted to charge for what they called a "10 minute install", that I already paid for was worth fighting over. At this point instead of having a raving fan, I will never go there again and will vocally recommend that no one else should either. read more

I'd give one star but the lady in the show room was knowledgeable and helpful one of the times I went in. Otherwise my experience with them has repeatedly been poor. Bikes are extremely over priced and options are limited. Biggest problem is the guys who run there online system. I've messaged about a bike several times and either get ignored or he catches an attitude about how amazing they are and that I don't know what I'm talking about. Most of my experience was good. The bike was present as the website stated, and as soon as I walked in, I pointed to the bike and asked to test ride it. Shortly after that I was riding down side roads, just to check that everything worked well. It did. I found the bike on Craigslist, and it made no mention of the mods on the bike. This was about 11:00 in the morning, and I put $100 down for them to hold it, informing them that I was going to be back after work to fill out the paperwork and pick it up. I returned just under 6 hours later, and, as the counter-workers said, the paperwork was ready and I made my purchase in a jiff. The issue I had was the over 30 minutes I waited for them to tidy up the bike before I took off on it. They even put it back in the showroom after I left. I have no idea how that couldn't have been done in the 5+ hours I was gone. I stood there waiting for something that should have been done way earlier. To top it off, the only place I had enough fuel to get to was the gas station! I've owned over half a dozen cars and several motorcycles, both new and used. I have NEVER driven or ridden off of a lot with less than a full tank of gas. Seriously. I was shocked they lacked the pride in service to say "hold on, we'll get this topped off real quick. The employee even pointed out the tank was low and that I needed to fill up before any long hauls. Later, as I was getting used to the bike and starting to open the throttle, I noticed a massive lack of traction. I've never ridden Shinko tires, so I assumed this was it... for a second. Just to make sure though, I checked the chain. It had less than 1/2 an inch of play. It is concerning to me that a shop can let a bike out the door with that going on. Everyone there is nice, and I might go back, but the problems I came across could be mistaken for a shop that lacks thoroughness and experience. read more

Called Chandler Powersports after I had called the place that sold me my scooter (last time I will call the place that sold me the scooter). Robert was very open about what he thought was wrong and in the end he was correct. They picked up the scooter (yes expensive but worth it to me) about 2pm on a Friday and had it fixed by 2pm on the following Tuesday (closed Sunday and Monday). Cost was above what I was expecting but I didn't figure in labor...my bad. Robert and his crew were professional, and fast, and fixed it. These are my go to guys from now on. read more

Saw a special for a motorcycle tire service for $39.99 and asked if they could pickup my bike up from my house around the corner literally 2 miles... they told me it would be $49.99 roundtrip I specifically asked if it would be dropped off AND picked UP. They said YES. When the bike was complete I came to find out that they wanted to double charge me to have it dropped off!! The manager quickly got the owner on the phone, he sounded like a young kid....Spoke to the owner Robert and he was extremely rude absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. Told me Flat out that I am not a customer he wants to work with. He is obviously not a people person and should leave the customer relations to a third party. I am talking directly to you Robert you need help if you are going to make it in this business. You may want to hire a sales professional or someone who knows how to work with customers because you obviously have no clue. I won't be coming back or sending any referrals here. I won't be surprised if this place goes out of business soon with amazing shops like Ride Now and Bob Parsons taking over the AZ motorcycle nation. He is a class act Robert. When I went in they told me it was $310 and after talking with them they took off approximately $35 and it was still over budget. Do not buy anything from this place unless you are okay with something unsafe, unreliable, and no help when problems occur. I bought a 2009 kawasaki ninja zx6r with approx 11,000 miles on it for roughly $6,000. I was told the down payment would be around $750. After my credit was ran I was told I needed $1,000 down but Kegan (owners son) said since he was wrong about the down payment that he would add in the 1 year warranty for me. I paid the $1,000 and got a invoice with my receipt attached and it clearly states 1 year warranty. After that payment kegan was still having issues and said I needed more bank statements. I went home and grabbed more paperwork but when I went back he needed another $600 on top of the $1,000 I had already paid. I paid the additional $600 but Kegan removed the 1 year warranty after I paid the $1,000 and left for more paperwork. Finally I got on the bike and left. On my way home I noticed I had a rear turn signal out so I went back a few days later to have that put in. The first actual ride I went on I was going down the freeway in rush hour traffic when I downshifted and my whole shifter fell off the bike leaving me and my passenger in very heavy dangerous traffic. I pulled a bolt from another spot on the bike and made it home. I took the bike back and had that fixed. The next ride i went on i returned home and noticed oil leaking from the left side of the bike. When i looked close there was a bolt totally missing. I took the bike back again and had a bolt put in. I'll add that when I went back to the shop the owner said find kegan....which i thought was completely unprofessional. Why am I supposed to go looking around the shop for kegan. So I went to the back of the shop and kegan started saying I needed to call ahead, which I did. I lost my temper and basically said fuck it which got kegan to stop what he was doing and tend to me. They fixed it and I thought to myself this has to be it, I just want to ride and not worry about this bike falling apart going down the road. I got my girlfriend her own bike and on our very first actual ride together on the highway I downshifted and the motor totally died and once again left me stranded on the highway in a dangerous spot. I pushed the bike off the highway and called the shop and they sent someone to get the bike and take it back to look at it. A few days later kegan called to tell me he doesnt know what's wrong and that he would need to have a kawasaki dealer look at it. I said okay and they took the bike there. A few days after that kegan called back saying these dealerships are funny...they still dont know what's wrong with the bike. So I called Kelley's kawasaki to find out what was wrong and they immediately told me the motor is toast and it's pointless to go any further. He said I was better off just finding a new motor. I called kegan and he said that's why I should have got the warranty. I took the paperwork i have in to show kegan and he told me i couldn't afford the down payment so he removed the warranty.....After I paid the initial $1,000. He told me there was nothing he could do but I could turn it into insurance. The insurance company told me to let kegan know he shouldn't tell anyone that because its false. So basically I have a junk bike, no help from chandler powersports, a warranty removed, a loan on the bike, rode less than 600 miles, and of the 4 rides I went on I got stranded 2 of those. Completely disappointed and will be doing everything I can to make sure i let everyone know not to deal with this shady place.....as well as having a lawyer look into everything. I have given it plenty of time and they have done absolutely nothing...... this place is terrible and the owner puts everything on kegan and doesnt take responsibility. read more
