RUN! (away!) Like another reviewer here (see below), if I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. These guys wasted about 3 months of my time. They kept telling me that they could do my project. They told me that they ordered the parts (see another reviewer below who was told the same thing). Turns out, they never ordered the parts. After a visit down there, 4 emails, 3 phones calls (never returned), I finally get an email saying that 'maybe' they could do the work in May. (after I was told I was 'booked' in January). The truth usually works. If you didn't want to do the job or couldn't, say so. Instead, you wasted my time, a 30 mile trip to come see you guys (by the way, crap all over the shop) and lied to me. If there is that much work in Motorcycles, I'm going to open a shop. Compared to these guys, I'd make a mint! read more

I dropped my bike off because I was having some clutch issues and had some parts I had been too lazy to install myself. They were super knowledgeable knew the problem before they even looked at the bike got it fixed in a couple days. Drastically cheaper than what Harley Davidson quoted me and not to mention the were extremely friendly. I'm new to the bike world like 3 months new. My Son bought a customized 1996 Harley Sportster from a private owner. The bike had a few issues and I was concerned about his safety. We noticed Evolution on a drive one day. We stopped in and right away, I felt comfortable with Tim and Bruce. I explained to Tim some issues we were having on an exhaust part where we had lost some bolts and Tim instructed me on a better exhaust design for some work I needed to do on the Bike and I purchased the parts and installed them. This turned out great. A few days later we stopped by and Tim fixed the rear tire. He also fixed the wiring as a nail caused some damage and some hokey custom wiring he discovered in the process. Tim changed the grips and adjusted the controls. He adjusted the suspension. Tightened the speedometer. Changed the gearing back to normal. Adjusted the front wheel and fender that had been causing an issue. He also did a bolt and safety check of the bike. My dealings with Evolution have been beyond positive. They were fair, honest, helpful, professional, and most important approachable without an attitude. Evolution earned my respect and trust. read more

If i could give negative stars i would. I used to think tim was a good guy but since he did insurance work on my bike and i have it back in my possession i know different. While he is easy to get along with and he worked with me on changing up some parts to get my bike "how i wanted it" that is about the extent of any positive thing i have to say. Where to begin? So when i finally got my bike back 4.5 months after he received payment, any bolt that he touched was at best finger tight. The thing could have fallen apart going down the road. The "custom" 16 inch ape hanger bars were 1/4 inch taller on one side. I originally asked him to simply purchase a set. He said he couldn't find a set of 16 inch apes. What? He did "make it right" by "fixing" the bars. But what he did was cut up the old ones and made a set of 15 inch apes. thats not what was to be replaced. So next the nut that holds the clutch adjuster screw in place was put in backwards with the spring side towards the clutch, and thus the clutch lost tension. That was an easy fix but I would assume a "master mechanic/fabricator" would know the correct way to install something as simple as that. Then the new 2-1 exhaust was not seated properly in the heads, bolts were not tightened properly and one of my o2 sensors from my thundermax tuner was bent to a 30 degree angle. I would assume that happened when he tried to install the pipes with the sensors already in the pipes. Those are 100$ replacements... next the primary oil level was not filled to the appropriate level after he replace the primary cover. There are a few other minor things that were not done correctly but whatever. I fixed and tightened everything to spec after receiving the bike. I think the thing that irritated me the most was that he didn't order any parts for a month and a half after receiving the first half of the payment. He did do a few things with acceptional quality and craftsmanship but if i were you i would be very wary of having any work done by him. I will never return, that much is certain. read more

Tim is by far the best metal fabrication person I have ever seen, in my 30 years of being around valley shops. His discipline to perfection is superior and the honesty, integrity and ethics of him and his dad are incompatible to anyone else. read more
