Got a four inch lift here a couple of months back and wish I had done it sooner. I never understood why RAM would make a full size truck so low that a medium sized fat a$$ couldn't even change the oil without jacking it up. Now I can slide my beer belly right under the front and carry my beer with me while I do man $hit. I went to the shop because I noticed uneven wear on my tires and the company I bought my car through recommended these guys. They were helpful in the beginning by identifying a problem with my lower control arm. They said they saw where getting bad but nothing that needed to be replaced right away. I then proceeded to pay them for an alignment. They said they did the alignment and everything good on all four tires. The first problem happened when I came to pick up my car. I had saw that the leather was eaten through on the top of my steering wheel. The shop said that that's how it came in but that's not true. It almost looks like acetone was dropped on the top of the steering wheel and it let it burn in. After trying to solve t the shop the only thing I got out of it was paying for a new steering wheel and installing it myself. The shop then proceeded to block my number. Anytime I try to call to resolve the steering wheel problem with them. It would go straight to voicemail. I would use my business line to get through to them because they that and they didn't block that. Now comes to my problem months later. I bought a brand new set of tires and brought it to the shop to get it aligned and they said everything. Now 7000 miles later my tires are completely destroyed. The inside wear is unbelievable. I go to a better shop and they take a look and they find out that my caber and tow on the rear tires are off. when they try to bring it back into spec, they find that they can't because there is damage to the rear control arm. So if this shop truly did an alignment, they should've found that the tires could never come into spec and that there would've been a problem. They said nothing, they found nothing and now I'm out another set of tires because on top of my steering wheel. If you love burning through money, then go here. You'll just burn through tires and time and money and they'll damage your interior. I would never recommend the shop ever read more

Had my 2017 F-250 shocks upgraded here last week on a Thur and they tell me to pick up my truck Friday morning. I head there to pick it up and ask if I can leave my car there because my wife is out of town. Jeff tells me yes I can leave it there so I do that with intentions of picking it up Monday. When I go to pick it up Monday the car had been towed by the owner. When I asked them why they had it towed they said not our problem and hung up on me, actually Jeff hung up on me. Worse Experience at a shop ever in my life. Update: Found out my car was towed to the street next to their business. Why would they do that!? This is the damage the tow truck company that handles their parking lot did. My car is not drivable and has to be towed straight to the body shop to repair the radiator, front bumper, back bumper, side panel. read more

I hate writing bad reviews - but when I have a bad experience it's fair. Going to be very objective here: - lift kit took 3 months to come in, was told it would take 2 weeks originally - met with attitude most the time I called to check in - when I got the truck with the lift back, it was really out of alignment and there was a very loud and obvious clunking noise - took it back in to get corrected, told noise was fixed - they never fixed the noise, so I came back again and had them inspect it. They blamed it on my truck and said all their work was "100% installed correctly". I argued with John (I think that's his name, guy with deep voice) and said that it never made that noise before the install. He refused to be helpful and all his tech did was wiggle around the installed parts with his hands - legit pointless. He blamed it on me and the truck instead of fixing the problem. He said it's probably my steering rack or something else that has nothing to do with them. - I thought maybe it is my fault somehow (although I never took it off-roading yet) or it was my trucks so I went to a mechanic. My mechanic who I have seen for years said Prestige did not properly retorque anything. Mechanic had to redo it and re-do an alignment. - I called to inform them of this and was met with more arguing "did they tell you what they had to tighten? Why wouldn't they? You should call me back and tell me what it is". Instead of saying I am sorry, that is not the work we do I'm glad you got it fixed and sorry for blaming you. I never got an apology or anything. They missed it, I missed hours out of my day, had several appointments with them and arguments and ultimately had to pay someone else to do their job correctly. If they want to refund me for the $159 I paid for a re torque and alignment that I had to double pay, I am happy to take down these reviews. If you pay $1600 for something it should be done right the first 3 times. Had they taken ownership and tried to fix the problem instead of placing blame on me and my truck, I would not have written this. If not, I want others to know that you risk this by going here. I was told to go to desert rat and I should have. I wanted prestige to do good work and I even was planning on sending my buddies to them. Not confident in doing so at the moment. read more

Took my GMC 2500 in for a leveling kit, which included alignment. Truck drove terrible drifting to the right. Took it back for second time to fix alignment, and it still was wrong! Had to pay another shop $89 to align it properly. Went back and complained, and is was ignored. All I wanted was the cost for my third alignment back. Never heard from them again. POOR QUALITY WORK. THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK EITHER!!! Would not recommend them to anyone! read more

Ridiculously bad customer service. I set up my appointment 1 week in advance. The guy told me 1/2 day to be complete, "Was told Defiantly done by noon". Drove all the way to Mesa from I-17 and Carefree Hwy. Called at noon to see how it was going and was told "The tires haven't showed up yet, should be here any minute" (Like it was my fault they weren't there, even though was scheduled a week ahead of time).Went over there at 4pm. the truck hadn't even been moved from where I dropped it off at 7am. The guy at the front (barely spoke English) said "The tires are here now"..Told him "Give me my fucking keys"..Total clowns, wasted a whole day waiting on them....Stay away. If there was a Zero star. DO NOT GO!!! I do not write reviews on companies at all. I did not even have a Yelp app downloaded. Until today, I want everybody to know that John at prestige customs is a liar. He is not a distributor of rough country he is not in rough countries database. he does not know what he is talking about. He just sells jobs and gets on with the next customer. He does not honor his warranties. They've had my truck five times for the same issue and still cannot fix it. Now my UC AAs are completely shot and they are only four months old. He now has blocked my number and won't respond. Told me to go somewhere else and hung up on me. I am reporting him to the BBB and I'm going to be asking them about lawsuit for having another company actually fix my vehicle. I will be posting on every social media site. I would HIGHLY CAUTION anyone using these guys. Friendly, but do not have a clue on how to work on cars. They had my car for months and welded exhaust hangers to my powder coated frame; charged me for wiring repair only to find that they jumped a switch and didn't tell me or install the new switch I gave them; got oil and grease all over my new carpet because they didn't put paper down; ruined a new Holley; beat on my car to cause a rod knock; and charged me for a front end alignment and DIDN'T do an alignment. Be careful what you have them do and look it over before you go. read more

These people called me to let me know that they would charge me $85 more an hour to fix a simple part. They cut parts of my inner fender with out letting me know. When i tried talking to the manager they hid and avoided me. They took longer than they had originally said. Did not mind paying more for good service, but service is not good. read more

Waited to see how john the owner was going to handle the situation with my truck before posting this review. I purchased a lift from jonn and they installed it. They did a horrible job out of the gate. When i picked up the truck first thing i realized was they did not grease any of the new steering components only parts that were greased were the easily visible upper control arms. The alighnment on the truck was out of wack, pulling and heavy outside wear on the front right tire. I brought the truck back to the shop several times to get fixed. Johns attitude toward the situation was clear that he did not care at all and on my last visit he even told me " i did everything i can take it to 4wp" John doesnt care about his smaller customer base. Unfortunately for him he doesnt realize all the people one cutomer knows in the community and the affect that has on business. Im letting EVERYONE i know steer clear of this shop! Waste of time and money! Learn from mine and others mistakes on here. The only customer base john cares about are the mainstream dealers that he puts his crap RC lifts on. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CROOKS! I purchased a lift kit for $399 and installed for $250. What should have been an easy install has turned into a nightmare. The do NOT stand behind there products are there work!! This is the place that horror stories come from. I am now in in for about 2k. In retrospect I see how they trick you into purchasing part and service you just do not need. They installed a simple 3 1/4 lift on my jeep. They could not correct the famous "death wobble" They said it was my aftermarket wheels, and gave me an invoice stating that my "issue must be tire and wheel package" They recommended I buy the correct wheels. Once I purchased the wheels they refused to put them on because I had used tires. They tried to pressure me into dishing out another $1000 on top of the $2000 I had already spent. I took the wheel and had them installed at another tire shop, they gave me a warranty on the tires/installation . The issue persisted, my jeep still shook violently. I called them, they said they would mail me a part that was missing from the wheels. Come to find out these are the same type of wheels I had before. ""ALL I NEEDED WAS TO PURCHASE 4 SMALL RINGS THAT TOOK UP THE SPACE AROUND THE WHEEL". These are parts that they gave me yet sold me $1000 wheels saying it would correct the wobbling. It took 6 days for me to receive these rings. They are incredibly stupid people because I live a few miles from 2135 S 11th ave. I have not had use of my vehicle since 05/23/14, it is now 06/10/14 (18 DAYS) Today I spoke the front desk guy, he said they would have to charge me an hourly rate if I wanted them to look at my jeep. I told them my jeep was not safe to drive my kids around. He didn't care, he said the problem was because I didn't have new tires. He could not explain how the used stock wheels they used to diagnose the problem had corrected the wobbling. I see the only way to resolve this is to sue these crooks. I went into the office the guy was really polite and laid back, helped me out with what I needed to get done told me how much it would be then came in the next to do the work. Buyer Beware!!! These guys are rip-off!!! They wasted my time and money big time. Here was what happened. I did an online search and found them on craigslist ad. Here I copied and pasted it on the photobucket: http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w504/kenchantheman/PCR-1.png On their craigslist ad, it clearly states that $39.95 for 2 Wheel Alignment with FREE vehicle inspection. I took my truck to do an alignment over there. Over the phone, I asked them how long it takes to do the alignment. I was told 45 mins. I planned my day accordingly. I got there and waited. I confirmed with the guy the time to wait. Again, 45 mins. Okay, I waited. Guess what, I waited for over an hour!!! I couldn't wait any longer and I was about to tell the guy I had to take off for another appointment that I set up. The guy name John or Chris came out and told me they couldn't do the alignment because there were two things need to be fixed first. One was the control arm bushings. Second the strut mountings need to be replaced. He took another 15 mins making calls to get a quote for the parts & labor. It was over an hour already. Another 15 mins? I was very upset already. I called my other appointment and made the arrangement. At the end, I was charged $42 for nothing!!! Their ad clearly stated that $39.95 for 2 wheel drive alignment with FREE INSPECTION. I was told that it was for the mechanic inspection time. Com'n. They were wasting my time waiting more than an hour. And now I was charged for $42 for them NOT doing alignment and just inspection? I understand that if they did the alignment without fixing other things, it won't work. My biggest upset was why I was being charged for $42 for inspection? Nowhere else would do this!!! Not for alignment inspection. Okay, I paid and took off. I took my truck for a 2nd opinion at Sears. Guess what. Found out that Prestige Custom Rides was lying in my face!!! I asked Sears whether they would charge me for the alignment inspection. They said no. (Actually all other auto shop I had my cars done alignment in the past and I never got charge for alignment inspection). Sear's mechanic came out and told me that the control arm brushing need to be fixed. However, there was nothing wrong with the Strut mountings quoted by Prestige Custom Rides. This alone made me sick because of the unethical way the Prestige Customer Rides was conducting business based on a lie. Would people make mistake? Sure. Okay. I took my car to a 3rd party for one final inspection. (Sears quoted me over $600 and I walked away because I had another car which I had my control arm done by a mechanic for only $250 in the past). Guest what. My 3rd car shop also pointed out the only thing need to be done before doing the alignment was the control arm bushings. I was quoted $240 labor and parts. There was nothing wrong with the strut mounting which was quoted by Prestige Custom Rides!!! There is nothing to argue about - I had done 3 inspections on my truck to find out what need to be done. And when you read all the reviews about Prestige Custom Rides, they were all done between Jan 7 - Jan 19, 2011 over insiderpage.com. What does it tell you? Why can't these people be straight with their customers like myself and do ethical business? Their facility looks nice and all. But at the end of the day, it is about customer service and running an ethical business with integrity. I am sorry. I don't see it at Prestige Customer Rides. People at Prestige Customer Rides, you can argue here with me all day long if you want to. Fact is a fact. Please take responsibility for damaging your own reputation.
