I used to come here when I lived in Tempe, and I still would if I didn't live too far. I came in a few times over the course of a few years and every single time was a super relaxed and easy experience thanks to Chris. He was always so kind and patient, and got work done super quickly. Anytime I needed any sort of help he was on it. It was also the best pricing out of everyone I could find in the area. Chris and I'm sure everyone else there are professionals and they deserve the best!!!! Thanks to everyone at Genie! read more

I rear ended someone on a Sunday evening and wanted to find somewhere early Monday morning before work to make sure my car was okay. I just moved to the area and dont know anyone, but was referred to this place and the reviews are 1000% accurate. Not only did Chris calm my anxiety, but looked over my car and the worst damage was a nail in my rear tire I am so blessed and thankful for the minimal damage, but also for Chris taking the time to look over my car first thing this morning while being short staffed. I am forever grateful read more

Chris at Genie Auto is the best! He helped me when i had an ignition switch issue in my car and even offered to drive my dad (who drove the car there) home while waiting on the repair to be done at his shop. He's very friendly, reliable, knows what he's doing, great price & fast service. I'd highly recommend him. read more

Chris will not take advantage of you for 1. Being a woman 2. Not know anything about cars . I had a quote for some repairs from another chain and something didn't sit right with me with the quote, a friend recommended Chris to me said he is a stand up kinda guy and that he is! He is laid back and honest without up-charging and price gouging, he is efficient, knowledgeable, and doesn't waste your time and money . I can now say "I know a guy" when it comes to a mechanic who is honest and reliable. read more

Chris worked tirelessly to troubleshoot our car's AC issues. He had great communication and kept us up to date on the progress. In my experience, he is very knowledgeable and resourceful and sets a high standard for the quality of work that they deliver. I would highly recommend Genie Auto Repair and will continue to bring my vehicles here for future service. read more

Chris hits another home run for me and my family. It's so cool to work with a mechanic that's completely transparent and honest. You leave his place feeling like you get your moneys worth and not being taken for a ride. Thanks Chris! read more

Chris was recommended by a friend of mine. Unfortunately my friend said simply "he is on the corner of C.Club and guad next to the gas station". I foolishly had my truck picked up and delivered to THE WRONG SHOP. There. Is a shop next to Chris come to find out. Well wt the moment my truck is back in my garage and im out about 1000 so far. However i have since talkes to chris at the REAL shop i was suppose to go to in the first place. I could tell right off the bat the kid knows what he is doing. Its also clear as day that he understands the value of honesty and how the business side of car repair works. Once my truck is up and running my next vision to be tackled is making sure nobody else goes through what i went through with the shop next door to chris. Dont make the mistake I did and go to Chris, you'll thank your lucky stars you did. read more

Genuine, honest and transparent. Chris does great work and is always keeping you updated on the status of your vehicle and whatever is going on. There's a reason I chose his shop and there's a reason it will be the only place I use as long as I'm in Phoenix. He's extremely reasonable with prices and very helpful with ways to pay. Couldn't be happier with all the work he did on my truck! read more

I recently took my vehicle in for maintenance, Chris is extremely knowledgeable, true honest work. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else, Genie automotive is awesome. I spent 1200$ and it was worth it every cent. Thank you guys!!!! read more

Local garage for me. Saw the ratings on yelp, needed a fuel pump on my truck so I figured I should give him a try. Talked to Chris, we agreed to have it towed to him the next morning. Truck arrived on time, Chris texted me an hour later and confirmed the issue. Quoted me two prices, one factory parts and one aftermarket. Confirm the lower price and picked it up 6 hours later. Very nice guy, great prices and great shop. My new mechanic! Thanks Chris! read more

I don't know much about cars, but was referred to Chris at Genie auto by a friend. He was way more affordable than my dealership quoted me and got me in the next day. I'm going to be coming here for any auto needs or repairs. read more

My car had a problem with the axel was not drivable, Chris came out at the scheduled time and got me back on the road. He could have charged me anything he wanted with me in a pinch but his price was more than fair. I asked him about some other problems with the car and was impressed with his knowledge and no nonsense attitude. I will definitely use him again. read more

Great service. Fair pricing. Honest and show great integrity. I wouldn't want to take my car any place else.

Chris is amazing! He works quickly, does an expert job and leaves no trace when he's done! This was our first experience using mobile auto repair, and frankly, would never go back to the shop. His prices are fair and he warranties his work. read more

Chris addressed an unique issue with my Mazda CX-5. Few other repair shops couldn't even diagnose the issue before. Chris was timely, accommodating and provided an excellent service at a fair price. He also provided helpful advice with other repair needs. Awesome! read more

I came out from work to find my battery light on. I had it towed to the dealership. The dealership was way too expensive so my husband said to price check other places. My first place to check is always Yelp. That's where I found Chris at Genie Mobile Auto Repair. I messaged him for a quote and the next day and his price was very fair and reasonable. I needed a new alternator and battery. Very fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend Chris to do any of mine or my husbands auto issues (God forbid) that should come up in the future. If anyone wants a great mobile auto repair go with Genie! I did! read more

I asked for a quote and received a reply in an hour or two. On a Sunday at that! Every other place I emailed didn't reply til the next day. Chris was able to come over the next Monday morning and work on my car. Not only did the quote he gave me seem reasonable, it actually was the same or less for all the other mechanics that weren't even mobile. I have not used Yelp to find a mechanic before, but after seeing a perfect five star review for Chris I am very pleased with his service, his pricing, and his promptness to my car situation. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone that has a problem with their car/truck. read more

Moved to Chandler and found Chris early 2018. Really glad I did. He has done 4-5 jobs for us. He always takes the time to explain what's going on. He is extremely honest and his prices are tough to beat. Great reliable work done right at your home!!. I highly recommend Chris for your auto repair needs! read more

Chris was professional, convenient, and friendly. He was prompt and flexible with scheduling, and competitive with pricing. Chris replaced my ignition switch in my driveway, and took the time to test the parts before installing them, saving us further headache. Highly recommend. read more

Do yourself a favor and just call Chris! Took me 3 nights of working in the dark with a headlamp on and a new starter that cost me 140 bucks and my problem still not fixed. I called Chris and he had me up and running in 30 minutes! I LOVE CHRIS! AND YOU WILL TOO! CALL HIM AND SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND HEADACHE OF TRYING YOURSELF read more

Genuine service and very personable, he gives professional advice and takes the time to ensure you understand your vehicle concerns.

Took my 2004 350z to Chris for repairs as well as upgrades. Other shops quoted me for a clutch replacement for 3,000 for just the labor, and they also wouldn't let me use aftermarket parts (Chris does). Chris quoted me at 750. This was a no brainer for us obviously because that price is almost unheard of. Since Genie Auto is NOT a scam, I was actually able to buy more parts for the car in because I could now afford it. The longer he had the car Chris pointed out more things that could use attention, and took the time to call junkyards (since the car is so old) to find a part for me. You simply will not find this at another mechanic shop. I ended up getting a stage 2 clutch install, flywheel, custom radiator hose, short shifter, tie rods, exhaust, y pipe, test pipes, under shroud, slave cylinder, oil change, and new coolant for under 1k. On top of this Chris is super communicative and you just feel like you can trust him. Take your car here!!!!! read more

Extremely impressed with the service provided. Arrived promptly as promised, answered all my questions, performed the services requested and at a fabulous price. Will definitely use for all my vehicles needs. Do not hesitate to call Chris for all your needed car repairs and maintenance. read more

First of all, my car is 7 years old, 145,000 miles on it and so I figured it was time to find a mechanic and stop taking it to the dealer. Yelp has this nifty feature that you can request a quote from various companies. I took full advantage of that feature and requested numerous quotes. A few of the companies responded that they didn't work on my brand of car. A couple companies never got back to me, one company didn't understand what work I needed done (strange, since all the ones who gave me a quote had no problem) and there were 5 who emailed me quotes. 2 of those quoted me over $900 while the other 3 quoted me around the mid $500's. Why the difference? Ya got me. So, I narrowed it down to the 3 with the reasonable price quotes and of the 3, Chris of Genie Mobile Auto Repair was the only one who was mobile. Why not stay at home and get some work done while the car is being repaired instead of sitting in a shop or having to use Uber or getting a ride. I set the date and time for the repair and everything was awesome. Chris showed up to my house on time. He was very professional and in the end he took the same amount of time to do the repair that the dealer had told me it would take. He was clean and as far as I can tell did a great job. There was a bonus coupon offered via Yelp but even without those savings, Chris was extremely fair with his pricing. I would totally recommend Chris and his services. I've found the mechanic I've been looking for and will use Chris in the future for tune-up's and any of the other services his business provides. 5 Stars. read more

We have relied on Chris and Genie Auto Repair since he founded the business in 2016. When he was strictly a mobile repair business he came wherever we were and always did a prompt thorough job. For the past couple years he has moved into a modern shop on Guadalupe and Country Club and has kept the same professional yet personable approach to auto repair. We have Chris do all our scheduled maintenance on our F150, our CR-V, and a camper we have. Never an issue, and always fair, quality work at a more than fair price. In this day and age, to find a mechanic like Chris is golden. Will never go to another shop as long as Chris is here! read more

Top notch service all the way around, Chris was extremely responsive and did great work at a very fair price...what more could you ask for.

When I moved to AZ I knew I was going to need a mechanic because the power steering had went out when I got to load it up on the Uhaul trailer. I found Genie Mobile Auto Repair! Chris and his team deserve more than 5stars!!! He gave me a deal you can't beat to fix the power steering issue as well as the A/C. Haven't had any issues thus far. But the car is old so I can expect some to come up but I won't be looking for anyone to work on my car other than Chris. Thank you!!! read more

His slogan is no joke genie in a bottle! Chris completely saved the day! My car broke down on the side of road, I had it towed somewhere where Chris came out and looked at it real quick. he hold me exactly what is wrong with my car turns out that my alternator and battery died on me. went to get the parts and had me up and rolling in an hour! Chris made everything super simple and easy. I would give Genie mobile auto repair more then 5 stars if able. Definitely using Chris for all my cars future repairs. read more

Fast dependable and very reasonable. Chris came out fixed my vehicle for a reasonable price and got me back on the road fast.

I'm a little late in posting my review but I wanted to make sure it got done! We recently moved from California to Chandler and HAD to get the air conditioner fixed on my son's car. Since we didn't know who to ask, I relied on yelp I sent a message to a few top rated mechanics asking for quotes. Chris replied almost immediately and was the only one who wasn't going to charge me to look at it! We set up a time for him to come over my house which by the way is most convenient and he was able to fix the problem at an unbelievable price!! He also looked at my husband's car while he was there and he did and didn't even charge me! He gave me an estimate and came back the next day to do the work. Now all the cars are running like charms without breaking the bank! He will definitely be our go to mechanic and I highly recommend his services. Not to mention he's genuinely a nice guy read more

Chris does great work and is very honest, knowledgeable and dependable! The next time you need automotive service, give Genie Mobile a call.

Responsive, showed up as scheduled. Quickly replaced my alternator and better prices that local shops. I'm pleased.

Never again. He caused damage to my car that cost me $350 to fix. He was unprofessionally dressed, and fits the definition of a "Melvin" mechanic. read more

Our 2004 Kia Sorento, the ole gray mare as I like to call her, had sit for a couple months without being ran and the positive battery cable had literally corroded and fused to the terminal and basically melted off from the heat and corrosion! Love the AZ heat! So I either had to tow it to a shop or get someone to fix it. Well I did my Google search and saw Genie Mobile Auto Repair had 5 star ratings on both Google and Yelp. So I gave Chris a call. He responded quickly and came to my place to take a look at the SUV. He gave me the "dealer" option which is to replace everything with new parts (way too many $$$$) and then another option that effectively solved the problem for a fraction of the cost. Bam! Given the miles and age of the vehicle, he knew how to give me a solution that fit the need. Perfect. Totally recommend Chris and his service. Oh and he communicates well, what a concept! Haha. Great job will use again. read more
