Michael and Alex just worked on my locksmith van AGAIN and the experience was on a completely different level than the average mechanic shop. They replaced my motor mounts, did all of the brakes, and had everything finished exceptionally fast. No delays. No runaround. No inflated invoice. Now here's the part that really matters. They tested and charged my AC and found a loose hose. Most shops would have told me I needed parts. Most shops would have padded the bill. They didn't. They fixed the loose hose properly and did not charge me for something that didn't need replacing. That kind of honesty is rare. And when you run a business with fleet vehicles like I do, honesty is everything. Their pricing was far below what most shops in the area would have charged, and the quality of work was top tier. Clean, efficient, and done right the first time. From this point forward, every one of my fleet vehicles and my personal vehicles are going to Innovative Automotive. They earned that loyalty. I called on a Saturday morning to get an estimate on my squeaky brakes. I just had new ones put in…read moreback in April, so idk... BB also needed an oil change. Mike answered the phone and made my 2 pm appointment. First off, you should know that this place is a HOME. Dude runs the business from his home, and I'm sure he's certified, licensed and all that, but it was pretty awkward pulling up to a neighborhood. Once I parked on the driveway, I rang the doorbell on the front door and Mike came around the garage. I explained what the issues were and he said he would call me to let me know what needed to be done if anything. I do appreciate the fact that they thoroughly assess your vehicle and call to give you an estimate before performing any work. I was desperate to get it done because B.B. is my only ride. I don't have the luxury of switching vehicles like some people do (maybe one day again.. lol). I ended up walking home since it was literally a few blocks away and they didn't have any kind of lobby or waiting area. Mike called within a half hour to tell me he didn't hear the brakes squeaking and that they were fine. I also mentioned the oil change and when he gave me the estimate, my jaw kind of dropped to the floor. He quoted me over $200 for the oil change, air filter and cabin filters changes. I'm not auto expert, but that seemed pretty damn high. I get that I drive a V8 but daaaamn!! At that point, I didn't gaf because I had to walk in the slight rain to get it back. I wanted it done so I approved it and he got to work. He and his associate completed the work in about 45 minutes so they are quite efficient! I was satisfied with the work, but I won't be returning. I know I can do the filters myself but like I said, I was just wanting it all done in one stop. Also, to note, they are moving out to I believe East Mesa I think it was. I overheard him telling another customer as he was leaving. I'm not sure if he has overhead costs but even with the military discount I asked about, I still paid $240!!! Smh. If $120 for labor is standard for having my vehicle for under an hour, then I guess there's value in what I paid?! Oh well, it is what it is and the work was done well. Lesson learned. Damsel in distress will do research and plan accordingly for my next automotive needs.

Mike sent several apologies and went above and beyond what most business owners would do in a situation such as this. - He refunded me for the missed alignment and the cost of the new tire. To find this kind of honesty is rare and it proves that he operates his business with integrity. Knowing this, I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle directly to Mike in the future if need be. Mistakes happen, and he was quick to correct it. Thank you, Mike! ********************************************************* My husband brought my car over to AZ Automasters in February of 2024. We had never been there before, but I had just had new control arms and ball joints put in and since the tires were also brand new, my mechanic who did that work recommended an alignment. AZ Automasters kept the car overnight and my husband picked it up the following day. My husband stated that he asked the employees if the alignment was off and by how much, and that no one could answer his questions or seemed to "know anything about anything." But he did say that the employees working the morning he picked it up were not the same ones who were working when he dropped it off. He didn't leave feeling super confident but they said the car was done so he left and that was that. This car is kept in a garage, has not been in any accidents, hit any curbs or anything of that nature, and is well loved. I have put 8000 miles on the vehicle since the alignment. The other day we realized that the tires should probably be rotated and were horrified to notice that the outside of the passenger front tire was completely bald, the inside of the tire barely worn. We went over to where we purchased the tires as they are warranteed to 80,000 miles, but because they deemed it an "alignment issue", I had to purchase a brand new tire out of pocket. Not only did I waste $118.00 at AZ Automasters as they did not complete the alignment I paid for, I'm out an additional $145 for a new tire and still need to get the car aligned. I'll certainly be getting alignment, but it won't be at AZ Automasters. *Edit* I just had a front end alignment at a reputable shop where the employees actually care about their customers. They had to take a torch to the tie-rod jam nuts as they were totally locked up on both sides. This would NOT have had to be done had AZ Automasters done the work they were paid to do a year and a half ago. Also, this shop, who did the alignment using lasers, was able to show us via computer what they adjusted and how much, which AZ Automasters could not do for us. And this new place was cheaper! Lesson learned to shop around!

Was a little curious when making the appointment to hear they are a weekday-only shop. What?! Who does that? So I scheduled the last appointment of an upcoming day, and was again taken aback to hear I should plan an hour or hour and half. What?! I've had oil changes in 20 minutes! Hmmm... well it's free (and I'm broke), can make time to sit and wait (thank goodness for cell phones to zone out with)... let's just do it... Huh! Turns out there's a good reason for all this! In the 70 minutes I was in there, I saw this General Manager do more work for free than I've seen many people do in half a day! As I listened to his many customer interactions (they were more interesting than my cell phone) it became apparent he was in this for the long haul. Although young, he has old-fashioned ideas of being honest and reputable ABOVE making bankroll! I went so far as to privately talk to 2 of the other customers (one also new) who were equally amazed and impressed with the helpfulness, sincerity, and honesty of the GM. It became clear to me that this shop, with the current General Manager in position, WILL be there for any of us when we need him. He will give us a fair price, a hard day's work, and a sincere "thank you for the business." Fourteen years I've lived here, and I finally have a mechanic I will happily return to and trust!

Fortunately I recalled using APR with my last vehicle some time ago. We called on a Friday and APR set us up for an appointment on the following Monday. Monday morning came and we were able to drop the keys off for the diagnosis early. By noon, we were contacted with the work that needed to be done and felt the price was fair. I picked my car up before the end of the day and the air was blowing probably colder than before it went out! I'm very happy with the service provided!
