Went there on a Friday night around 10pm for dinner for 4 people. Got seated right away and food came out in a timely manner. We ordered zesty nachos with sour cream on the side and I saw the server scoop the sour cream by holding the small condiment cup with her fingers and side scooping it into the sour cream tub. It looked very unsanitary. When it was time to pay, I noticed she charged us for the sour cream EVEN THOUGH the sour cream was already included in the meal. We also ordered a skillet and she asked us what kind of bread we want with it, making it sound like it was included, but NOPE. We saw that additional charge for bread too. I asked the server about both charges and she said, "that is how the computer reads it when I put the order in." I looked at her with disbelief and did not want to waste my energy. We paid and left. Benjamin was rude towards me and he wasn't even the waiter of my table but walked up to me and said "Are you done?" I told him I was waiting for Lam to return so I could order dessert that is why I asked for the menu; which was given to me but no one took the order. There's a definite bias at this location or "something". Lam said the Manager would stop by, I waited about 40 minutes, no manager and no desert order. read more

Update from 1 star to 5 star. Came here for kids eat free Tuesday and now they are finally open for sit down so we dont have to sit outside in the cold. Manager Lan remembered me from before and apologized for turning us away before when it was kids eat free tuesday from my previous review. New/returning swever Maddy was nice. We ordered country fried steak and the chicken bowl. Usually country fried steak is a bit over cooked along with anything that is fried. Today it was on point and juicy. Everything was pretty on point today including the kids meals that they scarfed down. The only thing that looked off was the kids alfredo pasta. The sauce was really wet and not creamy. Now indoor dining available, food was good, kids ate free, service was friendly Dennys is deserving of a 5 star for the team here. read more

I needed a stomach friendly meal after having some issues with food sickness. Denny's was really close to where I lived so a visit during the day to the diner was the decision. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak omelette and pancakes and the waitress offered to substitute the pancakes for the bread which I took. Food came out fast. Most drinks they offer free refills and they also have AYCE pancakes for $4 if you're into that. There's a nice chill atmosphere. The pancakes were soft, buttery, and very tasty. The hash browns were tasty and always reliable. The omelette was alright. Probably needs more sauce and I guess it's just not my taste. This place is reliable but not spectacular. between the great food and the very kind and friendly milo the waiter, this is a place I like to go to relax and feel at home. it's nice to just sit at the bar and milo comes up, talking like he would to a friend, and I grab coffee, and just enjoy the none modern and chill atmosphere. what else can you ask for after a long day of job hunting? this place is the best. Absolutely disgusting food and the service was terrible. One of the servers, Judy was incredibly rude and my table had to wait 30 minutes until our food was given to us. And when we finally got the food, the eggs were cold, pancakes stale, and there was a hair on the waffles. Never go there if you don't want to get stomach issues. Well, where do I start? The oven doesn't work that's you know just something that you have to deal with stuff breaks but when you walk into an establishment and nobody speaks to you and it looks like the owner was talking to one of the waitresses he didn't even stop he points to somebody else for them to help us but the person that he points to they're already busy so we have to wait, now that we're seated no utensils at our table we're eating, but we have no utensils as I watch her sit to other tables and right away they have utensils and a menu so I'm gonna see how long we're gonna sit here without no utensils looks like the guy is here to fix the stovetwo stars for me read more

It seems to depend on which Dennys you go to, as to how good things are. Overall, the last time I went to a Dennys in No San Diego county the food was served hot, beverages brought quickly before your food and the menu is extensive, but simple American fare. Breakfast all night! Good BLTs and fries. Generally I think Dennys has been reliable. read more

Only giving a 2 star because service was amazing, i came in yesterday the food was horrible not just horrible but horrid i wake up today 6 hours after my dennys meal and immediately i feel very very nauseous its a feeling that's indescribable just like the ingredients in their food it's all a mystery. Just wanted to post this because i know for a lot of people dennys is amazing for that after party spot to go get some grub but at the end of the day guys it ain't worth it.
