I have been going to Denny's for quite a few months. It doesn't matter if I'm going in for a cuppa coffee or a meal they treat you like royalty. I'm impressed how they open up their doors to the community and allowing them to come in and do studies of whatever they need to do this is how I became acquainted with Denny's never thought of stopping by to eat there until I started having Bible study there I was so impressed. Your manager is incredible. Very warm outgoing and every employee has treated me the same to have that kind of service they'll have me forever thank you so much for allowing me to post this review. read more

Good breakfast! Kacey was very attentive and has a great attitude! She made our breakfast very enjoyable. read more

Every time I've eaten at this location, the food was subpar, as was the service. Many mistakes are made to meals and I've had to point out the need corrections. For instance, my daughter was brought a salad that they initially forgot about, then was given no dressing and we had to ask for that. I was also given watered down sprite when I ordered plain lemon water. We have waited up to 15 minutes for our drinks after being seated. Most of the time, the employees are very nice, but can't correctly take and deliver orders. As of 8-6-22, I do not recommend the brisk-it-all melt...we had to request more meat for the sandwich as there were only a few pieces and they looked burnt on the outside. I always try to show some grace for the servers. We all have bad days or maybe someone is new and gaining experience, but on one instance, I could tell our server was getting overwhelmed when taking our desert order and was a little rude about it. Overall, points of improvement are: Service Food quality Timelinesses read more

Denny's - Diners Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

We eat at this Denny's about 6 times a year or more. We've always been happy with the food but our most recent visit, March 2024 was a step up in their breakfast! Our server, Nicole, was very attentive and added to our satisfaction. read more

Kacey hit out of the park great service, food was perfect, OMG pumpkin pancakes with nuts, like amazing, thank you for great experience

Okay, so I know that giving Denny's 4 stars seems a bit of a stretch. Denny's is Denny's. Solid pre-fab diner food. The 4th star is for the service from Carmen. Normally I am not a Denny's person... but we have limited options in Vail and this place just opened up close by. It was very busy, Sunday late AM breakfast crowd. We waited a reasonable 10-ish minutes for a table. When seated a very friendly Carmen came right up and took our drink order. She was very engaging throughout, took our food order quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Despite the busy breakfast hustle the restaurant was clean. Food tasted solid, you know... it is Denny's. I am a little put off by the 1 and 2 star reviews as this place is brand new and likely still working out kinks in staff both in the kitchen and on the floor. Folks are super unforgiving I guess with newly opened places. read more

Kacey is an amazing server- friendly and attentive. Best service we've had in a long time.

Services was slow but overall good experience. Food was little on the warm and not hot side.

Amazing service from Carol at Denny's on River Rd Tucson.. Great fresh food, served hot, terrific fruit salad.

We had Rachelle as our server twice this week randomly. My son's birthday was Wednesday so we went with a couple of friends and we went for breakfast yesterday morning with my husband and were sat in her section again. We really enjoyed having her as a server. She's so sweet and friendly and really paid attention to all of our needs. She was super attentive, making sure our drinks were always topped off, and we always had plenty of sugars and creamer ( my husband goes through A LOT of those!!) The food was brought out promptly and she offered dessert which is huge for me! I love to be offered desserts to order because sometimes we forget but always go for it when offered! We will always ask to be sat in her section she's working whenever we return. Thanks Rachelle, you made our dining experience very enjoyable!! read more

Denny's has friendly service food was good and the waitresses are super nice to my kids Please thank the waiters for being super nice.

My friend & I visited this location today to get a cold beverage (on a HOT Tucson day) and an appetizer. We opted for counter seating and Cold Brew Coffee and smoothie along with an appetizer combo. Our server, Rachelle, was beyond fabulous! She took exceptional care of us during our visit. She took our dietary needs into account & ensured we had multiple sauce options to sample. We can't remember the last time we enjoyed such great service - thanks Rachelle you knocked it out of the park! read more

Terrible!!! Terrible!!! So, we have been there twice and both times were very similar experiences. This time we ended up walking out and will never return. I can't review the food because we never got served....but it's Dennys so the food is probably the same at all of them. As I said....we never got served. It took them literally 17 minutes for them to even acknowledge us after being seated. An older waitress came up and asked us what we wanted to drink. We ordered to coffees and an orange juice. She left and never came back. Meanwhile she continued to serve others, some who came in after us. Obviously we were forgotten. Another waitress finally came over and it was back to square one. We ordered our same drinks again. She brought our drinks but no spoons or napkins. We asked for the wares so we could stir our coffee / creamer. Again, poof!! No return. After a total of about 30 minutes we decided to walk out. Honestly I feel foolish for even waiting that long. We will never go back there again. Worst service ever!! read more

The food is always as expected, still a good value today, and they served it up very fast even though the restaurant was busy. Our server, Kacey, was absolutely lovely! Attentive but not intrusive and very friendly. read more

Nathen the general manager is amazing!! His staff hands down has to be the best I've seen from a Dennys. This franchise is a well oiled machine. Everyone seems to know their purpose and cares about providing great service. It was a pleasure just enjoying our meal over the weekend and seeing the hustle from all the staff. This restaurant is a delight and we will definitely be back and be telling family and friends to visit. Thanks to all your staff. read more

We went on a Sunday morning, expecting it to be busy. They were very short staffed and from the get go let us know the service and food might take a while. We got our food in a timely manner regardless and our server Kacey was phenomenal. She was sweet and efficient and still was able to help out in the kitchen! All around the staff always checking in on us and we never felt a lack of good service! read more

Mia made our dining experience even better, with her attentiveness, kindness, professionalism, and humor. We will definitely return.

The price for my Grand Slam was spot on per the limited time promotion price. The service and experience was GREAT thanks all to Kacey the Denny's associate. She went above and beyond by anticipating that I also wanted water along with my coffee order when she brought the order out. It was a nice environment while eating maybe because I came in early and no wait and OBTW the order came out quick. Thanks again Kacey. read more

We had dinner at your Houghton Tucson Denny's, our server was Sophia S. She was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. She took our order and before we knew it our food was ready and was cooked perfectly! We bought some yogurt but didn't bring a cooler so Sophia gave us a take out dish with some ice, talk about going the extra mile for customer service! read more

We hadn't set foot in a Denny's for over a decade, but after our daughter's dance recital late last night, and everything closed, we decided to give the Rita Ranch location a whirl. We initially had low expectations but were thoroughly impressed! Our server, Kacey, must be part superhero. We are pretty sure she can leap tall stacks of pancakes in a single bound. Attentive? Check. Professional? Check. Accommodating? Triple check. Despite being busy, Kacey personalized our experience like a master tailor fitting a bespoke suit. And the food? Absolutely mind-blowing. Roasted vegetables that could make a carnivore consider vegetarianism, mozzarella sticks that should be on every bucket list, and a lasagna (yeah lasagna at Dennys) so good our daughter forgot all about her elegant dance moves and started doing happy dances in her seat. Denny's, you've officially won us back. See you soon! read more

Mike, Nicole, Jessica, Kristen and Desmond made my day today! Thank you for awesome service and a wonderful breakfast experience.

Inexperienced cook, slow service. I don't expect a lot from Denny's, but I do expect the food to be fully cooked. I got hashbrowns that were black on the outside, and raw in the middle. My wife's pancakes were barely brown on the outside and gooey in the middle. It took an hour for this quality meal to make it to our table. We ended up not paying for the pancakes, and went down the road to a McDonalds, where at least the food it's dependable. read more
