It took 15 minutes for her to even acknowledge us most of the time she was at the end of the bar with her back turned to us on her phone when she finally came to us to ask us "what do you want" we ordered Kettle One vodka on ice with a splash of cranberry juice and soda and lime, the Kettle One she didn't even know what it was. We had to point it out to her then we saw that there was only like an eighth in the bottle and asked her if she had more in the back. It took her a while to think about it and she said that she did not have the key to get into the alcohol vault. So instead, we ordered Tito's. Again, she did not know what it was, and we had to show her where it was at. When she made our drinks, she did not put cranberry juice in it. She put a cherry in it. We had to wait another 10 minutes or so for her to acknowledge us again to add the cranberry juice. We ordered a pretzel as well we figured because we've ordered pretzels before it takes at least 30 minutes or so so we didn't have a problem waiting for that because the pretzels there are awesome. However, 45 minutes later we asked her is the pretzel ready yet and she says oh no we don't have pretzels today. I understand that this is new ownership, however There are some training issues happening here and some language barriers. I always say stay ready so you don't have to get ready. If it's the goal to run both the restaurant and the bar efficiently, I think consistent training and a positive welcoming attitude really make a big difference just something to keep in mind as things move forward.

The Valencia French toast was good but not very tangy or orange flavored unlike the description. The egg croissant was okay but the eggs looked like they were rubber. When I checked out, I asked for a blueberry muffin, bear claw, a blueberry danish and raspberry turnover. I assume it was the owner ringing me out because they seemed to act the owner but when they went to put the items in the bag, they had to excuse themselves to blow their nose. I am watching this all happen, but instead of washing his hands first, he reaches into the case with a parchment sheet hand no gloves to grab my blueberry muffin. Now why didn't I say no thank you after that, I didn't want to be rude. Maybe I should have, but either way I'm thinking that will be the last time I go here. After eating dinner with my father each evening, I'd stop in here for a couple of beers or a cocktail. The service was very pleasant but not always prompt. Bianca the bartender is a hoot - it's clear that all the regulars who belly up to the bar enjoy her company, and may be regulars because of her. The interior is very pleasant, with big north-facing windows, dark wooden tables and chairs, and a few nicknacks scattered about. I'll probably stay at the Residence Inn again on my next visit, and stop in to this pub in the evenings as I did this time. It's a good, welcoming place.
