This is a tiny lunch restaurant, very popular, and has really tasty food. The menu changes, depending on which day you come and is presented in a hand- written whiteboard on a stand. Bring cash as they don't take plastic. If you come when they open at 11, you can pick your table (inside or out) but within another half hour, all the tables are full. Here's a small restaurant in Green Valley that we stopped at after visiting an art festival. (I counted 16 tables) Oh, it's great! We both had the fish tacos, grilled tilapia fish - It came with avocado, salsa and sticky rice - excellent! And a side of guacamole with chips - small but just delicious. Well I've checked in here 213 times and it's still very good very consistent. The fish specials on Friday are always really wonderful some sort of seafood dish. Some of the dishes I've had here are like no others. The stuffed Argentinian squash is one of the most amazing things I've ever had. Hours are short so get in because it's really packed for brunch. The food was good took a little while to get but it was great hit the spot. The chicken I had was nice and tender the stuffed chorizo was amazing it gave it the nice spicy accent to the chicken; I really love chorizo. The tortilla was unbelievably delicious and the sauce was nice and savory with a hint of spice. The two owners were really nice and super engaged. Not very aesthetically pleasing they focus more on the food which isn't a bad thing but small and a bit crowded; since it was packed it was a bit noisy but overall a good experience would go back if I decide to go out for brunch and can go at their hours. read more

Seeing all the other 4 & 5 star reviews made me really think about what I wanted to say about Marti's Bistro. The food was very good. I ordered soup and sandwich. The soup was a very simple combination of a very flavorful broth and vermicelli noodles. The sandwich as also flavorful and quite tasty. They were busy when we arrived. It took well over 10 minutes for someone to come to our table. After we ordered it took close to 30 minutes for our food to be delivered to our table. But it was freshly prepared and hot, so that's good. After we finished eating we waited quite a while for our checks. Then we realized, you have to walk up to the front counter to pay. The staff were stressed which may be why we sort of felt like we were getting the cold shoulder from them. Towards the front of the restaurant a heavy picture fell off the wall and nearly hit a customer. I did hear someone from the back yell 'sorry'. Then a bit later a waitstaff person did come by and ask if the lady was ok. But I got the feeling it wasn't a big deal to the staff. I'm not sure the quality of the food makes up for very slow and not very congenial service. read more

We have been going here for years. Always quality food and wonderful presentation. The receipes are unique and delicious.

The food was tasty, the service- not so much. While the waitresses worked together to get everyone seated, the place was crowded, loud, and the staff wasn't exactly friendly. We ordered about 20 minutes after arriving and waited about 30 minutes for our food. They are only open 11-2, which is probably why they were so crowded. If the hours were more like 10-3, it would be much more enjoyable to dine there. read more
