    New big burger
    Danny C.

Once again, this restaurant created another hit! They increased the size of their burger. It now fills the burger bun! It is also very juicy and great tasting. The French fries are also very tasty. I usually don't eat lunch, since I eat breakfast here. The service is outstanding! Very attentive waitress's. The restaurant has undergone an extensive renovation and it is still ongoing. It is a great place to dine. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out on some good tasting food! It's a good place to bring friends and and enjoy a warm welcome! The have several large meeting areas as well.

My wife and I had lunch here for the first time. The service was friendly, and the inside ambiance is cozy. Everything was clean. I had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, and my wife had the soup of the day. I thought the food was more on the bland side, but both the bakery options and taste were excellent. We ordered a variety of desserts to bring home for later. The pistachio and (I think) ricotta dessert and the chocolate cannoli were exceptional. By far the best desserts I have had in a long time! I wish their baked goods were labeled, and when they put them into the takeout container, they would not place them on the side. This was my fault for not paying attention. Mountain View Cafe is only open for a few hours of the day (10 - 3 p.m.). They also offer a nice patio for outside dining.

This place is a local gem! The service is always friendly and efficient, even when it's packed during lunchtime. The sandwiches and burgers are top-notch, and the soups are hearty and comforting. Be sure to check the board for the daily special and the soup of the day. Don't bypass the pastry case - it's filled with tempting treats, including delectable cinnamon rolls. I take a pastry to go so I can enjoy it later!

This is a hidden away gem of a place for a good lunch ad very good baked goods. Fresh breads on Thursdays (I think ... better call ahead, and order). Stopped by a couple of times and enjoyed a sandwich for lunch. Took home pastries ... well, it is a bakery and when in Rome, etc. Not too much more to say, nice people, nice food, indoor or outdoor seating.

Cinnamon rolls are terrible. Dry bread like. Doesn't have that good sticky filling. Way to expensive for what you get.

Great food. Great service. It gets very crowded when snowbirds return. And gets very noisy. Desserts counter great.

What, what, what?…read more Seriously, stop reading this review and go to Brindi's immediately! Wow... We had the sampler platter, which was yum and then some. Crazy delicious Baba ghanoush. (I will share some of the completely pretentious, but true comments circulating at our table.) "I haven't had eggplant this good since Santorini." And the mushrooms. "Diners in Istanbul would be jealous of this dish. I had amazing mushrooms at that fab little place near the Blue Mosque, but these are now my fave stuffed mushrooms in the world." Yeah , Snowbirds, the chicken kebab is healthy and flavorful, but, "The lamb will transport your taste buds." Our desert was a Dubai delight. "The only thing that would make this dish more delightful and decadent would be to dust it with flakes of 24 carat gold." Oh, and the staff is AMAZING We discussed climbing over the fence and pitching a tent in their garden on the way home. Fellow Foodies, Brindi's puts Green Valley on the current gastronomical map of Southern AZ. P.S. Dear Brindi's, have you thought about adding a few weekend brunch items?

I had dinner here once, lunch twice and complimentary breakfast twice during my stay. Lunch and dinner were fine, not great, breakfast was very good both times. After eating dinner with my father each evening, I'd stop in here for a couple of beers or a cocktail. The service was very pleasant but not always prompt. Bianca the bartender is a hoot - it's clear that all the regulars who belly up to the bar enjoy her company, and may be regulars because of her. The interior is very pleasant, with big north-facing windows, dark wooden tables and chairs, and a few nicknacks scattered about. I'll probably stay at the Residence Inn again on my next visit, and stop in to this pub in the evenings as I did this time. It's a good, welcoming place.

I definitely do not regret that decision. This visit, I focused on pastries and coffee. I didn't realize they also have a full food menu until after I ordered, so that will be for next time. I picked up the Dubai chocolate muffins, a pumpkin scone, and a blueberry white chocolate mocha pastry (which was incredible). For drinks, I tried the Sweet Lavender Espresso (hot) and the Cherry Love Bomb (iced). The Cherry Love Bomb was my favorite, refreshing, balanced, and just unique. Everything I tasted was delicious. Every pastry I sampled had great flavor and texture, and the drinks were thoughtful and fun without being overly sweet. While I was there, I noticed they offer a sourdough avocado toast, and the staff member who helped me described it so well that I already know I'll be returning specifically for that. If you're into unique and intentional flavor combinations, this is absolutely worth the stop, even if you're not already in the Sahuarita/Green Valley area. Everything I tried was genuinely enjoyable. Its a cute coffee place with great views actually! I'll definitely coming back!
