I usually have to ask for extra. I ordered coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. When the juice arrived, a large glass, I almost downed it at once, it was soooo good. The place has a full bar, and they offer a tasting sampler of four spiked iced coffees - fun! One problem with the menu - the omelettes are all four egg! That's huge. I was afraid to order one, thinking that I'd waste half. I got the basic two eggs with sides (with "potatoe" written on the receipt, ha!) When it arrived, it was clearly more than two eggs, perfectly scrambled. The wife ordered avocado toast, which was a beautiful presentation. It was DIY, with unadorned toast, a little bowl full of avocado topping, additional sliced avocado, two sliced hard boiled eggs (the menu said it would be one - see a pattern here?) and crispy hash browns on the side, instead of fruit. Everything was delicious and well presented. I can't wait to try more dishes there, but come hungry!

Denny's, the quintessential American diner, has long been a go-to spot for hearty breakfasts and comforting meals. While its menu boasts a wide array of classic dishes, one new item in particular has captured my heart: the Strawberry Shortcake French Toast Platter. Let me tell you why: Strawberry Shortcake French Toast Platter from Denny's First and foremost, the French toast itself is a masterpiece of fluffy, golden goodness. Each thick slice is soaked in a rich custard batter, giving it a decadent eggy flavor that melts in your mouth. The bread is cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and pillowy interior. But the real star of the show is the strawberry topping. Fresh, juicy strawberries are generously layered on top of the French toast, creating a symphony of sweetness and tartness. The strawberries are perfectly ripened, bursting with flavor with every bite. And to top it all off, a dollop of whipped cream adds a touch of richness and indulgence. The Strawberry Shortcake French Toast Platter is not just a breakfast item; it's a possible dessert. The sweetness of the strawberries, the richness of the whipped cream, and the eggy goodness of the French toast all come together in perfect harmony. And to make the experience even more enjoyable, Denny's serves this dish with two perfectly cooked eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage. The eggs provide a savory counterpoint to the sweetness of the French toast, while the bacon or sausage adds a touch of salty goodness. In addition to the incredible food, Denny's also provides a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained. Whether you're dining alone or with a group, Denny's is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious breakfast. So, if you're looking for a breakfast that will satisfy your taste buds and leave you feeling happy and content, I highly recommend Denny's Strawberry Shortcake French Toast Platter. It's a dish that is sure to put a smile on your face and make your day a little bit brighter. read more

Denny's stands out as a beacon of breakfast excellence, an unassuming gem that consistently delivers a five-star experience. My recent visit to Denny's was a testament to their unwavering commitment to breakfast perfection. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon, scents that instantly awakened my taste buds. The ambiance of Denny's is both comforting and inviting, with warm lighting and a casual atmosphere that instantly puts diners at ease. I settled into a booth, eager to peruse the extensive menu. After careful deliberation, I opted for the Salted Caramel Banana Vanilla Cream Pancakes, a hearty concoction of fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, savory sausage, crunchy hash browns, and two perfectly golden eggs. The pancakes were a revelation, their light and airy texture melting in my mouth with each bite. The bacon was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, while the sausage provided a savory counterpoint to the sweetness of the pancakes. But the true star of the show was the Salted Caramel Banana Vanilla Cream Pancakes, which cascaded over the entire plate, creating a rich and decadent sauce; surprisingly the toppings were not too heavy or overwhelming. With each bite, I was transported to a breakfast fruity/sweet nirvana. The service at Denny's was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who were eager to fulfill my every request. Our server, a bubbly young woman with a contagious smile, was the epitome of Southern hospitality, ensuring that my coffee cup never ran dry and that my every need was met with promptness and courtesy. As I savored the final morsels of my breakfast, I couldn't help but reflect on the exceptional experience I had just enjoyed. Denny's, with its unwavering commitment to quality food, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere, had once again proven itself to be a five-star breakfast mainstay. read more

Title: Exceptional Service and Quality at Denny's 9642 (5/5 stars) My recent visit to Denny's 9642 was a delightful surprise that went above and beyond the typical diner experience. This independently owned franchise has truly elevated the standard in terms of service, atmosphere, and food quality. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful postmodern diner aesthetic. The fresh take on the traditional diner ambiance set the tone for the fantastic experience to come. The warm and hospitable staff at Denny's 9642 ensured my comfort throughout the visit. A special shoutout goes to the host, who took great care in seating me and even adjusted the blinds to block out the sun. This level of attention to detail is not something I expected at a Denny's but was genuinely appreciated. The real standout of my experience, however, was our waiter, Javier. His outgoing personality and dedication to providing excellent service made a lasting impression. He checked in on me frequently throughout the meal and offered spot-on recommendations. I've been to high-end restaurants that didn't have service this good! Javier took the time to ask me several questions about my preferences before suggesting the Crazy Spicy Skillet with eggs on top and tortillas. I never would have thought to try this dish, but it was absolutely delicious - spicy, savory, and not too overwhelming. Denny's 9642 surpassed my expectations in every way. The exceptional service from Javier, combined with the inviting atmosphere and delicious food, made for a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a top-notch diner experience. Don't let the Denny's name fool you; this independently owned franchise is in a league of its own. read more

I'm giving this Denny's a low rating today me and some coworkers came in to have some breakfast and at first everything was good. The food did take a while to come out a coworker ordered a glass of milk and did not come out until he was already done with his food, the server never asked how we wanted to pay and assumed I was gonna pay the bill so I corrected him and he came back and split the check appropriately once I paid. I moved myself to the back so my coworkers can pay for their bill and I saw that he was mumbling under his breath. after a few seconds he got louder, and he was mentioning about not giving a tip. He became very disrespectful and was being specific how we did not want to tip him not for the foundation, but for his own kids at home. After the argument, he mentioned to me and my coworkers that if we don't have money to tip that we should go to Burger King. I really don't mind tipping people, but when they come at you this disrespectful and wanting you to support their kids then that's when I just don't bother in tipping. His name is Javier C. Times are hard for everyone and we can't just assume we have that extra money just like they are making their paycheck and trying to make their own ends meet. Other people are as well doing the same. people should not feel for us to having to tip as that is not mandatory. read more

Stepping into this newly remodeled restaurant is like discovering a hidden gem in our community. The thoughtful renovation has created an inviting atmosphere. The star of our dining experience is undoubtedly Javier, whose exceptional service elevates every meal. His attention to detail, warm personality, and ability to anticipate guests' needs make him stand out among the already excellent staff. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular like us, Javier treats everyone with the same level of genuine care and professionalism. The kitchen consistently delivers outstanding dishes that keep us coming back week after week. Their portions are generous without sacrificing quality. Their new French Toast deserves special mention - it's become a must-have item. What began as a casual visit has turned into our weekly tradition, and it's easy to see why. Even for the birthday reward, I would not go out of the way to come anymore. Doe the past 2 to 3 years, there was no purchase requirement. Honestly the Carrot Cake was delicious , thus I came to get the slice reward. Because of the unfriendly customer service, I may not even come for lunches.

Even though I'm a Hilton Diamond member, breakfast isn't complimentary. My wife decided to go for the buffet since after looking the menu, she could get more food options she was craving. I went with the menu item and got the NY steak And eggs. Steak was okay. Very meaty and was served with 2 eggs and hash brown. No complaints so 5 stars. Coffee was $2.95 and the funny thing right in front of the Players restaurant, there was complimentary coffee you can make yourself as a guest at the hotel. So advice- get the free coffee and bring to your table. Service was excellent. We got served by a man and a woman (Maria) and they were very attentive and got us all the condiments we could ask for without asking.. tobacco , cholula, ketchup and A1 sauce. They checked on us often and asked if we wanted coffee refills often. 5 stars Overall, a good breakfast and was able to put the charge to our hotel

There were random sports on TVs and many families due to the dance competition in town. We ordered cheese pizza and fries. I was surprised that the fries were so good and you get a ton. The pizza was OK. Nothing to write home about. Returned to the dining area the next day where breakfast was really good. Eggs were cooked well. Portions were decent sized. As for service - Breakfast service was awesome. Dinner was busier so the bartender had a lot on his hands. Not bad service just a little slow as a result. Taking off a star for ambiance, but it could be nicer on the patios.

I decided to give it a try, and it was really good! The fries were great too, and the pricing was reasonable. The only small issue was the BBQ sauce. When we showed it to the staff, the male employee claimed it came from a mushroom and said it was "totally fine to eat," which made no sense and felt very dismissive given the situation. When we first raised the issue, there was no immediate apology. Instead of showing concern, the staff seemed defensive. The woman wearing glasses appeared visibly annoyed that we even complained. When we were given a refund, it was handed to us in a very rude manner, as if we were being told to "take the money and leave," rather than receiving a sincere apology.

We had a great convo as he sliced up the bread, meats, and cheeses, and made me feel so welcome even though I came in close to closing. Then he passed me off to Hazel. She was so fun to talk to, and was patient with my complicated order. Top-tier sandwich architecture. I was having a tough day, and this genuinely picked my spirits up after having such fun interactions with such nice people. Plus I have a bomb sandwich now too. 10/10 will come back again!

I've spent a couple of call back and forth in an effort to have this dealt with and the end result was nothing could be done. I placed an online order added an extra meat did not receive any call from the restaurant to let me know they could not do it. They just added extra of a meat that I did not request. Seems like this could be easily taken care of to just remake a new sandwich, but they would not do that nor offer any credit or a refund; all of which I would accept. it's not acceptable that when a restaurant can't make something the way you've ordered it to then contact the customer to tell them so rather than just make the decision on your own to make it differently. I would also change my review on here, pending a response from the business owner to fix this. I guess we'll have to see what happens by yelp response. The order was placed online through the yelp platform. I believe it was delivered by DoorDash so ultimately the only one that would be responsible is the restaurant itself.
