This is my new favorite breakfast place. The interior is…read morebig and bright, somewhat loud. Big TVs showed football, so if you want a quiet omelette, this isn't the place. The menu is large, with savory and sweet, and out server Eda was excellent and attentive. The table was set up with plenty of condiments and lots of half-and-half, which was was great. I usually have to ask for extra. I ordered coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. When the juice arrived, a large glass, I almost downed it at once, it was soooo good. The place has a full bar, and they offer a tasting sampler of four spiked iced coffees - fun! One problem with the menu - the omelettes are all four egg! That's huge. I was afraid to order one, thinking that I'd waste half. I got the basic two eggs with sides (with "potatoe" written on the receipt, ha!) When it arrived, it was clearly more than two eggs, perfectly scrambled. The wife ordered avocado toast, which was a beautiful presentation. It was DIY, with unadorned toast, a little bowl full of avocado topping, additional sliced avocado, two sliced hard boiled eggs (the menu said it would be one - see a pattern here?) and crispy hash browns on the side, instead of fruit. The food makes up for a lot, I will definitely be back to try other things but I will try to pick good times and not get things that need syrup.

The food was also poorly packaged. The lids were not properly secured, causing syrup to spill all over the inside of my bag. To make matters worse, my sourdough bread was so hard it was practically like a rock. On top of the food issues, the woman working at the online order pickup area was quite rude, which made the experience even more frustrating. I've enjoyed Denica's in the past, but the lack of attention to detail, poor packaging, and unfriendly customer service have really been disappointing lately, especially considering the prices. I hope they take these concerns seriously and improve their consistency.

I'm giving this Denny's a low rating today me and some coworkers came in to have some breakfast and at first everything was good. The food did take a while to come out a coworker ordered a glass of milk and did not come out until he was already done with his food, the server never asked how we wanted to pay and assumed I was gonna pay the bill so I corrected him and he came back and split the check appropriately once I paid. I moved myself to the back so my coworkers can pay for their bill and I saw that he was mumbling under his breath. after a few seconds he got louder, and he was mentioning about not giving a tip. He became very disrespectful and was being specific how we did not want to tip him not for the foundation, but for his own kids at home. After the argument, he mentioned to me and my coworkers that if we don't have money to tip that we should go to Burger King. I really don't mind tipping people, but when they come at you this disrespectful and wanting you to support their kids then that's when I just don't bother in tipping.His name is Javier C. This is Denny's is racist. We came in to sit down to eat and noticed there was a big party on the side of us so we asked for some water. He said that he wasn't our waiter so I got up to ask the front if we could order come to find out, she was the manager manager ordered my food, but didn't complete my order so as she brings out my food, I'm thinking that she's bringing my husband food too. They don't bring out the food so then I asked the gentleman who said that he wasn't our waiter. He was like he didn't know. Look at me like I was stupid got up and asked the manager came so she trying to figure out who is our waiter mind you he is taking the table that it's next to us and the table that just came and sit in, but we wasn't his table in the same area They racist so then we walk over to nations and my husband goes to tell the gentleman what happened and he said we were the third people who came and walked out of Denny's and came over to nation's burger and told him something went on this week racist at that Denny's Pleasanton you have to do better you have to do better I understand you don't like black folks, but y'all gotta do better because it's a lot of us in this country, y'all gotta do better. read more

This place has got to be the worse Denny's I have ever eaten at. We ordered biscuits and gravy with an egg and sausage and my husband ordered french toast. We picked up our order and it was something I have never seen before and a English muffin. The French toast was ok. So I sent my husband back and he came back with some chewy bisquets with pieces of chicken strips and gravy on top, tasted terrible. It sure wasn't the bisquit and gravy I remember. No Suger or cream for my coffee. I don't recommend this Denny's to stop and eat at. Just a few miles up the road in Tracy is a good Denny's and it's worth the extra miles read more

I'm sorry but homeless walking in and literally eating off of the dirty trays dolly . I've lost my appetite. Then proceeding to stay in bathroom for 35 minutes?!!! Safety should be paramount for Denny, not only for customers but their hard working staff! We all have problems but enabling the homeless isn't a solution for the manager of Dennys or ANYONE for that matter! Dennys use to be so nice ...no excuses . The staff cares. I have always got my food on time and the way I like it. The staff checks in on me to see if I need anything else. I am allowed to seat in any available area in the restaurant. They are there before I can up wrap and prepare for my meal to take my order. I am always greeted by name. This is a very freidly place to dine in. read more

I called the owner the next day. He apologized but didn't follow up or show much concern, even after I mentioned we considered going to the hospital. I missed work, and even my child had stomach pain after a few bites. I won't be returning to the Pleasanton location.

So I stood there for 10 mins fixing it and I told them I was going to redeem my birthday reward. I ordered a cup of soup. Mina the person who helped me told me that I had to buy at least a sandwich to redeem the birthday reward. I mentioned in the fine print, there was no written rule. I wished the experience was smoother. Place could use a renovation or brighter lights. The Squash Soup was ok. If I was in the area I would come. Even for the birthday reward, I would not go out of the way to come anymore. Doe the past 2 to 3 years, there was no purchase requirement. Honestly the Carrot Cake was delicious , thus I came to get the slice reward. Because of the unfriendly customer service, I may not even come for lunches.

Even though I'm a Hilton Diamond member, breakfast isn't complimentary. My wife decided to go for the buffet since after looking the menu, she could get more food options she was craving. I went with the menu item and got the NY steak And eggs. Steak was okay. Very meaty and was served with 2 eggs and hash brown. No complaints so 5 stars. Coffee was $2.95 and the funny thing right in front of the Players restaurant, there was complimentary coffee you can make yourself as a guest at the hotel. So advice- get the free coffee and bring to your table. Service was excellent. We got served by a man and a woman (Maria) and they were very attentive and got us all the condiments we could ask for without asking.. tobacco , cholula, ketchup and A1 sauce. They checked on us often and asked if we wanted coffee refills often. 5 stars Overall, a good breakfast and was able to put the charge to our hotel

As for service - Breakfast service was awesome. Dinner was busier so the bartender had a lot on his hands. Not bad service just a little slow as a result. Taking off a star for ambiance, but it could be nicer on the patios.

We had a great convo as he sliced up the bread, meats, and cheeses, and made me feel so welcome even though I came in close to closing. Then he passed me off to Hazel. I've spent a couple of call back and forth in an effort to have this dealt with and the end result was nothing could be done. I placed an online order added an extra meat did not receive any call from the restaurant to let me know they could not do it. They just added extra of a meat that I did not request. Seems like this could be easily taken care of to just remake a new sandwich, but they would not do that nor offer any credit or a refund; all of which I would accept. it's not acceptable that when a restaurant can't make something the way you've ordered it to then contact the customer to tell them so rather than just make the decision on your own to make it differently. I would also change my review on here, pending a response from the business owner to fix this. I guess we'll have to see what happens by yelp response. The order was placed online through the yelp platform. I believe it was delivered by DoorDash so ultimately the only one that would be responsible is the restaurant itself.
