Would often take my mom here for brunch when she was previously local to this Denny's location. Parking in the disability spaces was often easy peasy as there were several. Shout out to Angie who often served us many times. She was always smiling, attentive, and kind even when they were very busy. Can't go wrong with the AARP discount if you have it. There was the 55+ menu that my mom would sometime order from but her favorite became the half order of nachos. I'm a fan of chips and dip so with the ground beef, cheese, peppers, tomatoes, and sour cream, it's good! Had the everyday slams for 6.99 many times as well-- also can't go wrong w/a basic breakfast. We were also good with the decaf coffee. This location can get pretty busy that they overlook things like a piece of scrambled egg on a chair. Mom is living in the South Bay now so we likely won't return to this Denny's location. We are thankful for many good visits there. 3.5 stars is more accurate but not quite a 4.

One of the worst food: the chicken was deep fried but coins nit cut not could chew: the bread and a salad was all soggy : Asked the waiters if this was their standard all she said sorry we will give you discount: we did not come for any discount: horrible food horrible service Please this is not the same place that was( years ago

She really enjoyed the food Carlos served us!

Very good food and very good service from our server Carlos. He made us feel comfortable and gave us excellent customer care, it is clear that he really enjoys his job and cares for the people he is serving. Thank you Carlos!

We usually come at like 2/3 am right when we get off from work. And let me tell ya, Isaiah is awesome! Every time we come he has amazing energy and interacts with us. We love him!! I know 2 am is late but trust if you can go you better go and be in his section!! 10/10 recommend him!! read more

The lady there over priced me and I would here a lot. She try to charge me for the same meal I get everyday which is $11. She charged me $14 and I told her about the situation and she still charged me...she seemed like a manager tryin to get her food cost up. Not good bad experience with her over charging me and didn't want to fix it...I was actually really nice and didn't give her a hard time she just didn't want to hear me out. read more

Came in after a long night out and was greeted by Joanna and she gave us great service as a server. I did have a minor issue with my order that was incorrectly taken and I was given the wrong plate of food. The manager Edith was quick to make this right by giving me the order I originally wanted. For a Denny's, this is a better one that I've been to where the servers and managers are actually well mannered and care about their customers. read more

So after waiting for 10 mins , I got my order which I had asked for a salted banana caramel a la carte being that it was almost 5 am in the morning I didn't want to over fill myself & when I received my order I took off without checking the bag but was handed regular plain pancakes. read more

We usually go to IHOP. Our Denny experiences in the past were not great for many reasons. However due to ratings, being burned out on IHOP, and a location we had not tried. My husband, and I decided to give this Norwalk location a chance. We it here ! It seemed renovated, very clean, and most importantly the food was on point! We informed the manager about the food on our way out, and he informed us that the cook was new. We told him, he should definitely keep her ! Our waitress CECY was amazing !!!!! She was busy, but super attentive, gave advice on items we asked about. She brought our food immediately, and it was so hot/fresh. My husband said, the coffee even taste better than IHOP. Cecy even put in a to go order on time. So it would be right out the oven when we were ready to go. Please keep the specials !!! We were able to get what we wanted , under $20 for BOTH of us. The night environment, and service is . Please Don't change anything, we'll be back ! read more

Slowest Denny's ever. For a pick up order I have had to wait over an hour on multiple occasions. Other people complain about the same thing. I get if it's busy but then don't put a time that your order will be ready or use a better system. Most workers are nice even when customer get upset but honestly something needs to be done about pick up/to go orders. read more

The waitress was nice, the service we was good, but we were rudely interrupted when we noticed this old, nasty, moldy grape. This place get only one star for that reason. Hopefully nobody else got any nasty grapes and just ate them without looking. Most likely not gonna come here again. Will not recommend. read more

Definitely not returning to this Denny's. From the start it was horrible service. The host had a line in the front and took his time to clean tables to sit everyone. Once seated it took about 20 minutes for our server Monica R to come to our table. She was rude from the get go. She rudely stated the kitchen was backed up. The communication was appreciated but the attitude was unnecessary. We were all ready to order since we had more than enough time to look over the menu. We let her know we could just place the entire order and she said something along the lines of " Well I have to start with your drink orders". Took her time to bring out 2 coffees and took another 10 minutes to bring out 3 waters. Our drink orders were not kitchen related or complicated for them to take that long. We asked for lemon and ice on the side when ordering and had to ask for the cup of ice 3 times again AND the lemon 4 times again. While waiting for our food we noticed a table that came after us received their food first. When we finally received our food we requested an extra plate which we never received. At this point we still didn't have our lemons either. She was not making any eye contact or asking us how we were doing. Literally just dropping food off and disappearing. We noticed this was the same attitude she carried with all her tables. I understand times are tough with staffing but a positive/friendly attitude would've made the biggest difference. We were not bothered by the food wait time at all. We just ended up feeling unwelcomed. I hope management does make an effort to change this experience for future guests and doesn't brush it off but from previous reviews, I really doubt it. A discount will not make the visit better and at the end of the day it will cost the location seeing as this happens frequently. Monica: if you are that miserable working there you should look for another job. As someone who has many years in the food industry I know it is not for everyone. read more

I had the best breakfast this I had the santa fe skillet I believe it's called it contains chorizo, mushrooms,eggs,potatoes,cheese and onion. ( I asked for no bell peppers it comes with it) my boyfriend had a veggie omelette hash browns he says we're perfect this location. My son had Mac and cheese and devoured it. My waitress was the best! And the reason why I am coming back is waitress ASHLEY, she is so kind and welcoming I felt at home immediately. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. Was looking to get a bite after a long day at work.I walked in and was immediately welcomed by an employee with a smile.Isaiah gave me a table asked what I would like to drink and brought it immediately as he handed me the menu.he made me a suggestion and I went with it.lemme tell you it was so delicious he suggested the coconana breakfast meal.while eating my meal he was on top of the refills for the drinks I did not have to ask once about a refill.which was amazing.he moved at a quick pace while maintaining the order accurately.I was so glad I came to eat at Denny's tonight.I am extremely grateful for Isaiahs excellent service.I will definitely keep coming back to this Denny's read more

Oh my god so this is my first review thanks to Isaiah the server. To be honest I just wanna talk about how thanks to his work ethic I was not only served quick, full but more than satisfied . Loved the attention to detail as he made sure the food looked right for our group picture , he position the drinks right and left of the plate and the fried jalopeno right ontop of the steak! Fast lovable and comfortable is what I would describe the environment he made for us. this place are a bunch of thieves. do not order from this location i have reported them. i have a special needs child. i have had entire missing meals and items i paid extra for. only for them not to refund me or compensate my next order. when i call management is incompetent and rude. will not give you a refund and states you have to deal with door dash. it is not door dash drivers because i ask them and denny's employees tell them they aren't allowed to check if items are in bag so denny's are stealing our money and food on top of that. bunch of crooks! read more

This is one of my favorite Dennys to come to service is always great here. Our server was Yoana and she did a wonderful job serving our table drinks and food were on time and correct just as ordered she had a smile the whole time as she approached the tables. The service is mediocre, they are clearly understaffed. The cooks always my hasbrowns when I ask for them well done. The marinara dipping sauce for the mozzarella sticks tastes like plastic. And not to mention the old plastic cups they use! It looks like rodents have been gnawing on them! I only come here because it's near my home, but it's well known around town that the service at this location is terrible. read more

This Dennys was amazing. The Dennys looked so nice and clean, The severs were good, I got treated with respect. The staff were friendly, I got sat down quickly by the Norwalk sign I also got my drinks pretty quick. When we Ordered our food we didn't wait to long and everything was hot and fast! This time they get three stars for inconsistency. The customer service was fine, but my food came out kind of cold :( And my table was a bit dirty...but they were probably extremely busy that they couldn't get around to it. But the food should always be hot. No excuses for that one. read more
