Was hanging out with a friend from NYC, and we decided to pop into Denny's for dinner since we were in the area. I have been to many Denny's. And I have to say. This is one of the best Denny's That I have been to. The food was great. I ordered a Denny's burger. Which was delicious. And came very quickly. However, the main reason this location was exceptional was because of the customer service we received, from the moment we walked in, was friendly, very attentive, and very competent. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and a hello by an individual who just so happen to be our server Named Dennis Coloma. Our server, Dennis, was genuinely nice and friendly. He took our order correctly. Returned with it quickly and visit. And visited our table. Quite often just to check in and make sure that we were OK. Although he was busy. Did not seem like it detracted from his service, as he always checked in and had a great attitude. The one thing that keeps me rich. Turning to a restaurant more than the food is the service. And Dennis provided top-notch service. That makes me want to return, and hopefully be served by him again. Lately, when it seems like everybody is in a bad mood. After the pandemic, it is nice to see a friendly face. Thank you, Dennis your friendly service, you made me and my friend's day. read more

So I usually do not do this, but I am sitting in my car before pulling off to make sure I give credit where credit is due! I am writing a review because I had such an amazing encounter with one of their employees/servers by the name of Silvia L., Initially prior to being seated, I was a little irritated because of the long wait (which is expected during graduation season) but once my family and I were seated, Silvia made sure to acknowledge us and reassure us that she will be over as soon as possible to take our order. She was extremely kind, patient, and even went out her way to speak with her manager to help assist us in accommodating our needs. In addition, Silvia saw that we had 4 kids at our table, and she took time out to educate us about the many free/ cheap activities that places offer during the summer. She even was nice enough to go to grab her brochure and give it to me! Overall, meeting people like her that's truly genuine that goes above and beyond a pay check means more to me than just how the food tastes. But for those who are wondering, the food was good! Lady Silvia, at the Denny's restaurant across from Carson Mall, made my experience so cool. I was there to play happy birthday for a guest patron that was using the bar area to celebrate. Lady Silvia saw me walking in with my sax and directed me where to go. As I approached the area and was very close, I began play my sax, carefully stopping at each table asking if they were to birthday lady. just to create ambience. after playing, I then came to my seat and Sylvia, with her big smiles got everything done for us. the entire crew that day seemed to be very happy and helpful to all the guests. even though I'd been to that location, quite a few times before, I was glad to be there that day and be served by Lady Sylvia and the entire crew that day. the food was great as well. my order was perfect and perfectly served. just how i wanted it to be served. This Dennys does alot better than most others. To the moment I first arrived i was greeted within seconds of sitting. Good thing too because man i was hungry! I usually get the Lumberjack Slam but i wanted something different. So I asked the server what would be something just as filling but still in the realm of breakfast? He was like i should get the T-Bone with French Toast in stead and if i liked spice to add a Grilled Jalapeño with seasoning. I was like wow sure i'll give it a shot, and well... it was pretty damn good. I guess there was a reason he had a star on his name tag because it was a good recommendation. His neglectful attitude persisted as he failed to assist a struggling staff member and dishonestly claimed ignorance. When I expressed my frustration and sought the District Manager's contact, Leno tried to remedy the situation with a meal comp, feigning ignorance. Grateful for Maribel Q., who exhibited kindness and competence, providing the information needed to report Leno. Contacted Daniel, the District Manager, whose offer to comp my next meal mirrored Leno's insincerity. Disappointed by the overall management service, Maribel Q. deserves a healthier work environment. I got seated with my family and we waited over 30mins where we just decided to leave because none of the servers even bothered to get our order or get us drinks while we waited. After ordering two different pastas, I asked Cesar if he could bring me another one before we finished dinner. He looked at me and said, "No, I can't bring you another pasta until you finish one of the pastas you already have on the table." I asked if that was a new policy, and he straightforwardly told me yes. His attitude caught me off guard, especially when he said he was already being "very generous" with me. I ordered the Never-Ending Pasta Bowl, so I didn't understand why asking for another pasta became an issue. I don't know what Cesar was going through or why he had an attitude, but that's not how you treat a customer, especially someone celebrating their birthday. Cesar, you left a bad taste in my mouth, and you really need to work on your attitude and how you speak to customers. I was immediately greeted by a server whom quickly took my order and brought chips and salsa to my table. I ended up ordering the two hard shell taco combo with rice and beans and a fountain soda. The food was ok (not the worst); however, very pricey: 16.99 for the taco plate and 4.99 for my fountain drink! With tax and before tip it came to 24 bucks! I definitely won't be eating here again. Service was great and the servers were friendly enough and very efficient but overall not worth the price. Side note: this is a great place for large parties. Parking is tight except around the side of the bldg. Decor is dark inside almost like Dia de Los Muertos type!

The sandwich in this combo is 8" and they put the usual accoutrements (mayo, lettuce, tomatoes) but they do not pile on the ingredients (@ least not in the combo); however, it was perfect since I was not wanting to eat a heavy meal. You have several options for sides so I chose the greek cucumber salad and it was very tasty. You also get several options for the drink choices. I placed my order via their website with ease and the GPS told me it was 11 min away & by the time I arrived my order was ready! Single employee on duty, he was friendly and gave me my order immediately. Store was very clean and not busy at all at the time I went. There is one curbside parking spot available out front for to go orders and the parking lot is a decent size but is located in a small strip mall and appeared to be a little congested. Will definitely order from here again!

The pastrami tacos were extremely small, like the $3 tacos you get at a street stand, but they cost $14--definitely not worth the price. They were lukewarm, but at least they were decent in taste. The eggrolls, however, were a complete miss. They were also lukewarm and seemed like they were cooked a couple of days ago. I threw them straight in the trash. I really wanted to like this place, but the quality just wasn't there. Maybe the hotdogs are better, but I won't be rushing back to find out.
