This review is specifically for ------ Cesar S. On 9/18/2026, I came here with my partner to celebrate my birthday. I was especially excited because the Never-Ending Pasta Bowl was back, and I regularly visit this Olive Garden in Carson. After ordering two different pastas, I asked Cesar if he could bring me another one before we finished dinner. He looked at me and said, "No, I can't bring you another pasta until you finish one of the pastas you already have on the table." I asked if that was a new policy, and he straightforwardly told me yes. His attitude caught me off guard, especially when he said he was already being "very generous" with me. I ordered the Never-Ending Pasta Bowl, so I didn't understand why asking for another pasta became an issue. I don't know what Cesar was going through or why he had an attitude, but that's not how you treat a customer, especially someone celebrating their birthday. Cesar, you left a bad taste in my mouth, and you really need to work on your attitude and how you speak to customers. Every time I come here, I normally have really nice and friendly servers, which is why I always return. This was my first time having Cesar S. as my server, and I hope it was my last. So first I'm gonna say that the service here was impeccable. This is probably the largest eating out gathering I've had in a very long time we had like 20 people and the waiters did such a good job at taking care of us and making sure all the orders were right I wouldn't give a big kudos to the waiters. It was such a great vibe in there. By the way, like the seating set up Little background music great vibe. I ordered the seafood Alfredo absolutely delicious comes with tons of shrimp and tons of scallops, which was one of my biggest concerns cause I didn't know how much seafood would be in the pasta. It had a great amount. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the shrimp had tons of flavor, also cooked perfectly with highly recommend. So I tried my chicken Alfredo. She got with crispy chicken instead of grilled chicken and it was really good crispy chicken with the soft pasta noodles and the sausage and cheese. Absolutely delicious. And the steak and shrimp, bucanti was good. The steak was cooked and seasoned really well and the possums were consistent. The sauce was nice. The shrimp was good. I had a great time. Came during never-ending pasta and it was a busy night. The wait was about 20-30 mins. Our waiter was TJ, he was super nice. It was really busy so there were times when things were missed but overall it was good. I have a feeling they don't like this time of the year when people are trying to see how many bowls they can eat, me included. For the price, it's a steal! It's always a fun and exciting time when we visit the Carson Olive Garden! The food is always on point and so very yummy! The staff fae always incredibly friendly. We had the pleasure of dining this evening with Siobhan (spelling?) as our waitress and she was delightful. So very sweet. She made our dining experiance quite enjoyable. I absolutely recommend giving them a visit. We love coming in for date night and spending time enjoying the families as we get a tiny escape from our kiddos for the evening. read more

ARE YOU ACTUALLY FOR REAL?? We came here for endless pasta , orders from one plate and then got completely ignored after. Our server was too busy across from us chatting it up with a table that brought their own "lean " and sprite bottle with a double cup. To make it worse , some little kid comes up to us selling chocolates and then turns around and starts gang banging on the table across from us. Then they were all chatting about their "hoods" and our server was standing there with them while the little kid punked him and called him vulgar names. The lobby seating was plenty and comfortable. However, the restaurant needs WD-40 to stop the door springs from emitting a high-pitched squeak each time doors are opened and closed. The restaurant was clean, lively, but well-attended. Our server was attentive and made sure the kids were occupied with an activity booklet. The children enjoyed their food (chicken parm and fettuccine alfredo). My chicken marsala was quite salty; potatoes were very processed and inedible for me. We came in on a Friday night, waited about 20 minutes to be seated which was pretty decent for a Friday. As we got seated I put my kids food in on the little table tablet. Our server came and got our drink order and we also ordered calamari and our entrees. The 2/5 stars is for the service. We got a lot of "sorry" from our server. Our waters had ice when we ordered no ice. Sorry. Our calamari came before our soup or salad. Sorry. Our entrees came out really late. I also ordered an extra meatball for our kids food that cane out ridiculously late. Sorry. The last one was for our check and boxes it was a sorry I had to use the restroom.... A little TMI. Still a line but the wait was less than 10 minutes. The salad was good and the bread was soft and yummy. We had the Tour of Italy which is a combination (perfect for the undecided) and the Chicken Parm . I would order that again. Nothing fancy. Comforting and filling. I can never understand why some places that always have consistent great service has low stars. Every time I come here, they make sure I have everything I order to go. Same when we dine in. Today, we did a to go order. Everything is always neatly packed and correct. Parking can be a doozy as it's always packed. Food I always fresh and delicious. They never give me a hard time about needing extra Romano cheese. This place does tend to get super packed on weekends. The place is clean. Servers are clean. They are welcoming when you walk in. The service at this Olive Garden is just the best. Kim helped us and she was just a wonder. She was so kind to me grandson and when I had to correct him to say please, she just smiled at him and said what he said was great. She paid so much attention to him and listened to him. It is hard to understand him when he speaks. She just stood there and was so happy when we got the words out and she would smile at him some more. He told me he wants to go back to see his friend. Now, they have games on a pad at the table so if you have a kid, get ready to be ignored, but that is fine. Clearly, those games are more interesting than me and his Pop Pop. The place is ever so clean, including the bathrooms and the booths are big and comfortable. The lobby is pretty and the front desk staff is really nice. If I were you I would go around 4 for dinner or it is going to be very crowded. We loved our food. Their never ending salad bowl is just perfect. I am not in love with their bread sticks, but my grandson love them. All of the pastas are super. We had Ziti and a dish with ravioli, linguini and chicken parmesan. All of it was great. We had never had steak there, but my husband was brave and wanted to try it. It came out just as ordered with great vegetables and he was thrilled. Our dinner experience was definitely elevated because of Melzir (sorry for the spelling). He was one of the most lively, professional and accommodating servers I've ever experienced. He made some great recommendations and made sure our bowls, salad and drinks were constantly filled. Servers like him make all the difference in the experience and can make your restaurant go from good to great. The food was made fresh and did not disappoint. We got here about 6 pm before the dinner crowd, and were seated quickly. After the initial interaction with menus and napkins and napkins they said our waiter would be here shortly. The wait was not short, in fact we had the greeter come to our table to ask if we were doing ok and have ordered anything yet. We said no and she took our drink order and apologized for the wait. A short wait after our server came and took our order. After a normal amount of time we got our food but they got my grandparents order wrong. We explained it to another lady who wasn't the server when she asked if we were doing ok. We explained the issue and she said she would take the plates back and get the correct ones. After a much longer wait my grandparents were no longer hungry for their food and requested to take it to go. We waited a while more for the food and the bill. We also ordered a fettuccini Alfredo to go $6 that would be frozen to take home and were charged for the full to go portion for $22. When we explained this issue, we were comped for the food mistakes but I've never had such an awful experience from Olive Garden. I won't be getting the time back that we lost waiting as the entire dinner fiasco lasted over 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. read more

I had zero thoughts of speedy service as I couldn't park even remotely close to Olive Garden Restaurant. There were at least 20 persons waiting to get seated for inside dining. I generally order my meals for take-out. To my surprise, I walked right up to the counter, placed my to-go order and was gone in 20 minutes. Now that's service! I was craving some pasta and what better place to go than Olive Garden... I haven't been in a couple of months, so I decided to take myself to dinner. The wait for table of 1 was about 10 minutes, the server Angela was very beautiful with amazing customer service. The food came out faster than my drink but that's okay because I was hungry. Everything was nice! But the only thing that grossed me out and turned my stomach was looking around the restaurant and noticing the fake plants on top of the tables with the booths were a great amount of spider cobwebs and so much dust around the entire area. I immediately asked to pack my food to go and I left. I understand sometimes it could be a hassle to keep a restaurant sparkling clean but a duster and vinegar works very well.
