It was ok. I wish they'd finally have a decent vegan protein option. The marinara sauce is good. The salad and breadsticks are classic. Service was good. Not great. Busy location but we got seated quickly.

It's always a fun and exciting time when we visit the Carson Olive Garden! The food is always on point and so very yummy! The staff fae always incredibly friendly. We had the pleasure of dining this evening with Siobhan (spelling?) as our waitress and she was delightful. So very sweet. She made our dining experiance quite enjoyable. I absolutely recommend giving them a visit. We love coming in for date night and spending time enjoying the families as we get a tiny escape from our kiddos for the evening.

This guy is rude...

Well the manger guy there is not a very nice person. He somewhat, of just rude, and disrespectful. He doesn't care about anything but his pay check. Something to keep in mind.

The lobby seating was plenty and comfortable. However, the restaurant needs WD-40 to stop the door springs from emitting a high-pitched squeak each time doors are opened and closed. The restaurant was clean, lively, but well-attended. Our server was attentive and made sure the kids were occupied with an activity booklet. The children enjoyed their food (chicken parm and fettuccine alfredo). My chicken marsala was quite salty; potatoes were very processed and inedible for me. Our overall experience was pleasant, but it took quite some time before we were able to check out - even after approaching three people.

We came in on a Friday night, waited about 20 minutes to be seated which was pretty decent for a Friday. As we got seated I put my kids food in on the little table tablet. Our server came and got our drink order and we also ordered calamari and our entrees. The 2/5 stars is for the service. We got a lot of "sorry" from our server. Our waters had ice when we ordered no ice. Sorry. Our calamari came before our soup or salad. Sorry. Our entrees came out really late. I also ordered an extra meatball for our kids food that cane out ridiculously late. Sorry. The last one was for our check and boxes it was a sorry I had to use the restroom.... A little TMI. After not seeing our server for most of the night the last 10 minutes he was definitely around. We were celebrating mine and my youngest daughter's birthday month so we did get a free birthday dessert.

You can never go wrong eating here. If you're looking for a song, good Italian food. I know this is more of a franchise and fast food. Kind of restaurant but it will definitely do the job if you're craving good Italian food. ,

You can't go wrong for the $! The food is good and the service was excellent. Best value! The server was very attentive and caring. The restaurant was busy on a Friday night at 9. Still a line but the wait was less than 10 minutes. The salad was good and the bread was soft and yummy. We had the Tour of Italy which is a combination (perfect for the undecided) and the Chicken Parm . I would order that again. Nothing fancy. Comforting and filling. The restaurant is inviting, bright, comfortable and filled with happy customers. This is a great place for families.

Packaged to go food

I can never understand why some places that always have consistent great service has low stars. Every time I come here, they make sure I have everything I order to go. Same when we dine in. Today, we did a to go order. Everything is always neatly packed and correct. Parking can be a doozy as it's always packed. Food I always fresh and delicious. They never give me a hard time about needing extra Romano cheese. This place does tend to get super packed on weekends. The place is clean. Servers are clean. They are welcoming when you walk in. Prices remain reasonable. I wish OG would bring back their Alfredo pizza lol

When it comes to a quick, easy, family friendly meal and restaurant- I don't think you can go wrong with Olive Garden. The staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant lacked nothing in regards to service. This is not really top-tier Italian food, but it's better than any pasta I can make at home. I recommend this restaurant for good customer service, great food at an affordable price. My fettuccini with 5 cheese marinara with a delicious dish, paired with a Peroni I was very happy.

$7.49 pasta, side, breadsticks, drink. You can add the side to take home for $6 too
Jessica S.

Yes, I ordered a kids meal. Yes, I am a fully grown adult. And YES, it was delicious. For $7.49 at the Olive Garden in Carson, I got pasta, a side, breadsticks, a drink, and a mint that made me feel fancy. The meal came with silverware if you ask nicely -- but no pepper packet, which I'm still emotionally processing. It took about 20 minutes, but they let me chill at the bar with my drink like a classy rebel. Bonus: there's a bike rack out front, so I rolled up like a pasta-powered commuter. 10/10 would dine like a child again.

The service at this Olive Garden is just the best. Kim helped us and she was just a wonder. She was so kind to me grandson and when I had to correct him to say please, she just smiled at him and said what he said was great. She paid so much attention to him and listened to him. It is hard to understand him when he speaks. She just stood there and was so happy when we got the words out and she would smile at him some more. He told me he wants to go back to see his friend. Now, they have games on a pad at the table so if you have a kid, get ready to be ignored, but that is fine. Clearly, those games are more interesting than me and his Pop Pop. The place is ever so clean, including the bathrooms and the booths are big and comfortable. The lobby is pretty and the front desk staff is really nice. If I were you I would go around 4 for dinner or it is going to be very crowded. We loved our food. Their never ending salad bowl is just perfect. I am not in love with their bread sticks, but my grandson love them. All of the pastas are super. We had Ziti and a dish with ravioli, linguini and chicken parmesan. All of it was great. We had never had steak there, but my husband was brave and wanted to try it. It came out just as ordered with great vegetables and he was thrilled. Their little donuts with two sauces on the side are so good. These are addictive. The prices are fair and again, you won't find better service.

First time at this location and had a pleasant dinner. I was craving soup and salad and their $14 never ending soup salad and breadsticks is such a deal. I'll forever love you OG for this lol. Our dinner experience was definitely elevated because of Melzir (sorry for the spelling). He was one of the most lively, professional and accommodating servers I've ever experienced. He made some great recommendations and made sure our bowls, salad and drinks were constantly filled. Servers like him make all the difference in the experience and can make your restaurant go from good to great. The food was made fresh and did not disappoint. Yes OG is a franchise so it can be hit or miss but it seems like this location makes an effort for the community. Would definitely come back again.

Seafood Alfredo
Wanda

This is the Seafood Alfredo. I love it. How ever I got 3 shrimp and pieces of the scallops. I am already paying 24.49 for this and they want me to pay extra if I want more shrimp. Also, with the Scallops were hardly there! I got a little bit of pieces the size of a jelly bean. I asked for some black olives with this order today. I got 3 Lol Pay a little more attention to your good paying customers.

I love their Cobb salad served with chicken instead of turkey and that honey mustard dressing is delicious. Today they were giving out samples of some of their soups and their chili. My son and I had an appointment nearby and he asked if we could have this for lunch. I'm always up for trying new places, so I agreed. We came in, and were welcomed by a tall gentleman at the entrance with, "Pick up?" I said no and he walked over to the cashier's side as he saw me perusing the menu; he asked if this was my first time. I confirmed and he went over the menu; which I appreciated. I opted for the broccoli cheddar baked potato bowl with steak and shrimp, while my son went for the spaghetti and meatballs. The gentleman was kind enough to offer us samples of the beverages. I really liked the orange drink, while my son loved the berry drink. I paid the check and then the guy asked if we were dining in or taking out; and I confirmed we would be dining in. This is where things went sideways. I completed my order at 12:03 but we didn't get our food until 12:25; then when we got our food, there were no drinks. I had to get up and line up to remind the cashier about the drinks. 22 minutes for these two dishes and then another three minute wait to get the drinks I ordered 25 minutes ago; that is overkill in my opinion. The whole process was confusing. I'm assuming the cashier was supposed to give us our drinks when I paid but he forgot. There was no explanation on how the process works. I assumed we would be called out by name, since he asked for my name while ringing up my order. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is nice. This was my first impression and though the lengthy delay and confusing experience didn't leave a great impression on me; the food was still tasty and if I do return, I will likely stick to take out.

Limone was a gift that kept on giving, from the cute branding, to the welcoming service, and to the unique mix of flavors and fresh ingredients. Some things that I really appreciated about the chicken shawarma bowl: The salad inlcuded both dill and mint, which uplifted the entire dish and left me wanting more. They give you a whole stack of (fresh!) pita bread that is sprinkled with flaky salt, something I didn't know my pita needed until now. The hummus were topped with crunchy chickpeas that gave hummus that a nice blend of textures where it would normally just be smooth. Lowkey the chicken was the least memorable part of the dish, but it was still cooked well and tender. For how much competition there is in the Enclave, these guys are killing it. And I have found a winner, and they now have a new regular.

I went with brisket, chicken, fried tofu, and mushrooms, along with the chicken and beef broth and thin noodles. Unfortunately, the meal didn't live up to my expectations. Overall, everything was very bland. The broth tasted more like watered-down chicken stock than a rich, flavorful pho broth. The chicken was also quite dry and chewy. One thing I did appreciate was being able to add vegetables to my pho, since that's not something you typically see at traditional Vietnamese pho restaurants. However, even with the added veggies, the soup lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The restaurant itself was clean, and I liked that there was a self-serve beverage station with complimentary water. I also ordered a jasmine iced tea, which was refreshing. One thing to note: if you choose to sit on the patio, your meal will be served in takeout containers because their ceramic bowls aren't allowed outdoors. Overall, I really wanted to like this place because of the customizable menu, but the lack of flavor kept it from being a memorable bowl of pho.
