We grew up going to Sizzler's on special occasions but I mistakenly thought that all the locations have since closed. It's been well over 20 years since we were at a Sizzler's so this was a very nostalgic visit. We ordered the salad bar and enjoyed the offerings as it brought us back to the past. The cheese, toast and fried chicken were how we remembered Overall quality of the salad bar (fruits and veggies) and value however, average at best.

I love this sizzler. It's my favorite one probably the best around town, but I was bumped out to hear that they don't have the one trip salad bar anymore probably people taking advantage of that one trip. I totally understand, but I didn't understand this kid size portion of the hibachi chicken I guess. My server was really good though.

Customer service was outstanding yesterday. My food was cooked to the tea. We left very satisfied.

The person in the picture is rude ! I wanted to just get the corn nuggets that my grandsons like but I had to buy something for me to get something . So I had to get the cheapest but he did not tell me the cheese was $ 1.29 added ! .last year I did it with no problem So if you see this at the cashier ~ run don't eat here and give you your business .

Mom and I had a free day so we decided to come around this area to do a bit of window shopping (where browsing turned to buying.) Famished from the walk, I asked her to look around and decide where to eat (including the food court at the mall) and she mentioned we drove by a Sizzlers. It's been ages for both of us since our last visit at one of these. (It's been at least more than 5 years, possibly even a decade since!) With that realization, we decided it was time to come back. Although it's my first time here, the design and atmosphere is similar to the ones I have been. It brought back a lot of memories from when I was a kid and fam would come through one of these! I'm also glad to learn they're still popular. There was a line, but it moved through fast. Mom went for the AYCE salad bar, and I decided on the steak (medium rare) and shrimp. VERDICT: I'm still impressed! They still deliver their cheese toast (which is tastes exactly as I remember it) and my steak was cooked to the perfect pink I specifically requested. The shrimps were a good size, battered thin and seasoned well. Mom enjoyed the salad bar a lot A LOT. It really is just like how it was even back in the day: wings, spaghetti, salad, soup. They were refilled plenty as needed. They never an out of anything. FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 5. Workers were mindful about picking up used plates and utensils. They were also friendly and provided service with a smile. VALUE: 5. So worth it! PARKING: Private lot next to a car shop. OVERALL: 5. TIP: They do offer senior citizen and military discounts. We didn't hit any glitches during this stop. There will be many more future visits!

I am so glad that this location is still around. Maybe it's just me but the food here gets better over time. I don't go there often, but each time it seems the food gets more delicious than I remembered. The staff is always amazing. Great customer service. I love that the buffet is actually taken care of frequently. I see them cleaning and checking the temperature on a consistent basis. I appreciate that.. Sizzler has gotten a little pricey but it's definitely worth the taste and nostalgia.

This location does things well. They have enough seating for people to eat. Lately their service is faster than previous years. Before my food would get to my table in over half an hour. Now the food arrives in about 15 minutes. Food is great, they have probably the best grilled salmon around. Also their garlic toast is really good. Their ice cream for some reason doesn't taste like ice cream, it feels like water texture. In addition, I think they need more staff. I've seen workers rushing and looking exhausted. Some tables take a while to be cleaned up and people are standing around waiting for a table to be cleared up.

I went right when they opened, Thurs 11:00am. Only one server and service was slow. Restaurant got busy quickly. I sat in booth next to window near the exit door. Booth was DIRTY. The seat was shredded. (see picture) The top of the backrest of the booth was sticky and not clean. One of the serving plates near the salad bar was obviously very dirty and it sat there for a long time. Overall salad bar cleanliness was not too bad. But overall, very low standards there. I will not be back.

I grew up eating Sizzler. This is where the family would go out to eat from time to time. Chef Roy Choi's family would visit Sizzler too growing up in LA and I could not believe that he took Anthony Bourdain to a Sizzler on his TV show. I was getting some new tires next door so I decided to come for their $13.99 salad brunch for some childhood nostalgia. After filing for bankruptcy several times, they seem to be doing some rebranding with some of their signage and trying play off childhood nostalgia to resurrect the business. If vinyl and cassettes have made a comeback, why can't Sizzler? After doing some light reading online about the company, I didn't realize that they were founded Culver City in 1958 originally opeing as a steakhouse. Steak at Sizzler is not the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Sizzler. I think of the cheese bread and the salad bar. It is interesting that after you order at the register, they ask you tip in dollar amounts with a minimum of $5 instead of percentages at the register before you're served. They give you the cash you select to tip your server. I found a seat facing the salad bar for prime people watching. I love watching people getting excited and happy as they serve themselves at the buffet. The food in the salad bar isn't anything remarkable. If you're there for a plate of green salad, you will feel satisfied. There are different leaf varieties such as spring mix, spinach, and iceberg lettuce and around 5-6 salad dressing options and other toppings like eggs, carrots, broccoli, etc. to choose from. You'll also see things like macaroni salad and potato salad. On one end you've got the soup selection served warm almost at room temperature. I tasted all of them -- chicken noodle, clam chowder, and not sure if it was Italian wedding soup, but it had meatballs. My favorite was the warm almost room temperature chicken noodle soup. Their most popular seemed to be the clam chowder. It was cleaned out of anything chunky and what I was left with was cream soup. There is the crispy taco bar, nachos, guacamole. Also, a spaghetti and meatballs section. My favorite was chips and guac and the meatballs. I had one chicken wing and it was the most horrible chicken wing of my life. The fruit section highlight was the cut pineapples. The most popular seemed to be the banana pudding with Nila wafers which was never refilled while I was there. You'll find odd looking cantaloupe slices most likely frozen, canned peaches, and cottage cheese. The server will bring you unlimited cheese bread if you ask. I only ordered one slice to taste. The server never came back to refill my drink as she seemed way too busy working half the room. She did stop by once to clear out my soup bowl and asked if I wanted more bread. Would I return again? Probably not. It was nice to come back for some fun childhood nostalgia and people watch in front of the salad bar. The crowd at lunch were predominantly black folks, a table of Latinos, and a few tables of senior citizen white and Filipino folks. Go for the people watching, salad bar, and unlimited cheese bread. I enjoyed the frozen yogurt topped on brownie chunks as well. Maybe order a margarita to celebrate that you're at a Sizzler.

This place was amazing! I Love their salad bar because theres a lot of option that you can choose from soup, salad , protein and desserts. I feel not guilty every time I come here in terms of calories . We usually come here with my husband, He loves their steak and also my girlfriends (golden girls) who are cautious on what they eating loved this place. The servers are all polite and friendly. The ambiance is very welcoming too!

When I first started coming here, the smallest cut was only $25, which felt like an incredible deal. Prices have gone up over the years, and it's now $37 for the smallest cut, but even with the increase, it's a place I continue to return to because the quality and experience have remained consistently good. I always order the prime rib medium rare with the soup and French fries. The prime rib is consistently delicious, flavorful, and tender, with a rich beefy flavor that really hits the spot. It's cooked just the way I like it, and every visit reminds me why I've been coming back for so many years. The portions are generous, and the meal is satisfying from start to finish. One of the things I appreciate most about this restaurant is its classic atmosphere. The interior feels like a step back in time, with an old-school charm that is becoming harder to find these days. It has the feel of a traditional steakhouse from the 1960s, and the nostalgic vibe adds a lot to the overall dining experience. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a good meal, and appreciate a piece of local history. There is a parking lot available, which is definitely a plus, although it can be surprisingly easy to miss if you're visiting for the first time. Just keep an eye out as you're approaching the restaurant. While I miss the days when the prime rib was only $25, I understand that prices have gone up everywhere. The fact that I've continued coming here for six years says a lot about how much I enjoy the food and atmosphere. If you've never been and you're a fan of prime rib, this is a spot that's well worth checking out at least once. Chances are you'll find yourself planning a return

It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.

Once we were seated, we decided to order the American Sliced Beef Don (small size) and the gyutan plate. We were uncertain if the beef don would be good so we went with a small, but wow we should have gotten a large cause it was so good! The beef was extremely soft and the sauce all around tasted really good with the rice and all. The beef tongue was also pretty nice, but a bit tough for me, wish it was more soft chewy! Although, overall flavor was really nice. The beef don especially was really good. There's also a Arcadia location but the prices seem a tad bit cheaper here. So luckily we stopped by at this location to try it for the first time.

Not knowing LA has Red Rock and I've been wanting to try this place for like forever. Seeing one of…read moremy friends posting it and got uberly excited that it's available here. Tons of the reviews mentioned great things about it as well, so no wonder when we reached on Saturday lunch time, there were around 5 people on the wait list. It fortunately moved relatively quickly especially as we're willing to take counter seat and there were only 2 of us. The venue did have decent amount of seats, but certainly would be tougher for bigger group. Their signature dish was certainly the Sliced Beef Don, yep that one that looked like Volcano. We got it with extra raw egg topping. Along side, we got extra Chicken Kaarage. The beef was juicy and tender, but the flavor itself mostly was on the rice given the sauce was more mixed into the rice. It was luscious, but probably I set too high of expectation that I wasn't like blown away. In fact, the kaarage got me hooked more with unique batter coating and super juicy chicken. For the prize, the portion was pretty generous and I could confidently say that if I came back, I would doubtlessly order this again.

It's the last day for Black Angus Torrance! I made one last visit a few weeks back when they were…read morescheduled to close on June 21. I was pleasantly surprised to see they got an extension to stay till July 11, This place has been a staple of the South Bay for over 50 years and I literally grew up just down the street from here. I remember wondering as child how it was to dine here but it wasn't until I was in college a few years back that I finally got to try this spot out. It's been a go to spot ever since. I've been here with family and friends for various celebrations, occasions and even dineLA (see previous review). I will miss their dine LA specials, Prime Rib Wednesdays, Black Angus Wagon Wheel samplers and Campfeast Dinner for 2. It was always a treat to have their Sky High Mud Pie and their Chocolate Chip Cowboy Cookie for my birthday. I do hope the Torrance location finds another spot. They have been such a big part of the South Bay story and it would be wonderful if they can continue to be part of the Torrance.

I'll jump to the end real quick because this is important .... no fault of the restaurant but in the parking area (I parked far enough so that my car wouldn't be hit by anyone) and some bozo still managed to swipe my entire side front end of my new car. Jerrrrrkoff move of the driver but I guarantee you that karrrrma is going to come back ten-fold to you. What comes around, goes around so I'm not worried about a fish being served cold to you, soon. Ample parking; however not great drivers. Everyone had 7pm reservations and the establishment did great in getting everyone to be seated in an orderly fashion. The staff was welcoming. One patron decided to be the a h o l e of the night and cut everyone in line as she believed she was entitled. Many people were upset with this. Totally understandable. The lady ended up going to the bar with her husband and friend. She is an embarrassment. Again, no fault of the restaurant. We had a great team who worked beyond hard and provided great service. Leo, Candy and Savannah were the main host and cocktail artists. Our server was Thomas. I believe we were so lucky to have him. He provided the utmost exceptional service. I'm all about great customer service and he was excellent. He definitely made our night. My sister and mom had made reservations and my husband and I had another reservation. We were able to sit together. Our daughter came but did not order since she was Keto and did not want to break her ketosis. Kudos to the chef! Everything was savory, heavenly and exquisite. The experience came with; 1st course: Deviled eggs, smoked paprika, crispy bacon, crispy potato chip 2nd course: shrimp cocktail, house cocktail sauce, basil aioli Paired with a limoncello martini featuring Grey Goose Vodka ENTRÉE: Top Sirloin au poivre, mashed Potatoes, grilled asparagus, brandy cream sauce Paired with a cucumber martini featuring Grey Goose Vodka DESSERT: Berry crème brûlée Paired with Key Lime Pie Martini featuring Grey Goose Vodka The price was very reasonable. I loved the limoncello martini and cucumber martini. Grey Goose is my favorite along with crème brûlée so I knew this night would be a good one. Thomas, is such a delight. We hope to see him again. We are astonished by his great service. His attention to detail all the time while providing excellent service with a smile. He was so friendly and made sure we and others were taken care of. This Torrance location has been one that we have come to since I was a little girl. It's really sad to see them closing but I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing all of these lovely workers at the new place. The restaurant has an old school western style and feel.
