Hair found in the pork chops

The food is always good when we come. The cheese wontons here, are the best! Today was the first time I've ever had this problem and I understand sometimes things are out of our control. I didn't want to post a review about it, but it didn't give me an option to message the store directly. When I tried to call the number went straight to a dial tone. So posting this review was my last resort. I recommend the food and the service is always friendly! But this one time, I had a hair in my food.

Staff is sweet, attentive, and friendly! Coming in the dinning area is clean and counters as well. Plus, food looks and taste fresh! I honestly would rather come here than go to Panda Express! Looking at my pictures you can see why. They fill your plate!! If I can't finish my meal in one setting I can have more for later!

I hate leaving negative reviews but this is necessary. Noodles and spicy shrimp tasted has if it has been reheated several times. Borderline spoiled. FYI, if you decide to pick the chicken wings as a side expect to get one wing (flat and drum). What a joke. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Too much flour, & not enough orange chicken

Not too many selections in the area. Like all the safety features in place. Great customer service. I just don't understand about the orange chicken. I feel, there's less and less chicken and lots of flour. Definitely not acceptable. Yes it's popular, can we please add more chicken and less flower. Greatly appreciated.

I have never had a bad experience with this place, while working from home I had a taste for chow mein and theirs has always been hot and fresh and they are not skimpy on the serving size, see photos, I ordered through door dash 20 minutes ago and it's here hot and ready for consumption

    Unflavored/steamed rice

This rice tastes so crazy. They don't take exchanges or give money back. This rice is from yesterday. They are not stir frying it. They are mixing it up and saying it is with steamed rice. Everybody know what fried rice tastes like and looks like. This rice rice ain't been in no skillet/wok or grill. The bbq pork, has sauce on it but it's not sweet enough. Does not have enough sugar in it or they are buying the wrong brand. The mixed vegetables though? Bomb Man they need the OG's cooking not the lil g's. I wouldn't waste my time or money here. $22 for two plates of diss appointment.

I dont particularly like fast food Chinese food, but my kids wanted it and of course I have to taste their food to make sure it isn't poisoned. He-He. It was the typical Orange Chicken you get from places like this. Chicken is super sweet, glazed, and super breaded with little chicken. The chow mein was good. I'm not a big noodle person so I can't really rate based on difference. One thing that trips me out about places like this is they pile the noodles super high. Now I wonder is there something wrong or this can't be healthy because this is enough to feed a horse. Honestly we probably won't be back. I'm sure the food is loaded with msg. My son ate and was in a food coma after. He is Usually up on his ig or texting some girl. That MSG is a seasoning that can cause lethargy and all sorts of other things .... bloating, headaches etc.... Id rather get quality Asian cuisine that I can enjoy and recognize the type of meat I'm eating

This place is very good for fast food Chinese. I love their orange chicken and fried rice. I don't normally frequent these Panda Express types of places but I regularly come here. They have this special for 3 potstickers or 3 fried shrimp for $1. OMG best shrimp ever! The potstickers are good too! Get the combo 1 instead of the bowl. The bowl price went up so the plate is a better buy. Decor is standard and very clean. And the people are genuinely nice too. I like places that seem like they appreciate your business. If you don't get anything else, get the shrimp!

I was reluctant to leave this post in hopes of keeping it a secret, but it's time to share this treasure. The same family from the 70's owns this restaurant which is now in their second generation of family owners, their children. Their cooking tastes like it's always tasted, extraordinary. No other ethnicities are in the kitchen cooking. To me, that says a lot about the continuity and quality of food. Trust me, this is not Panda Express with high school kids.... lol. This restaurant is authentic. Food: 5/5... my favorite is their Mongolian beef, peppered pork chops, and orange chicken. They are the best I've tasted (and I love eating Chinese). They have an old school menu with plenty to choose from, nothing disappoints. All is good. Service: 4/5... there are time where things get busy, this may cause some delays. But for the most part, food comes out hot and their family servers are working both kitchen and service. Price: 4/5.... They offer a family dinner special that serves 4 people.. two dishes, fried rice, chow mein, eggrolls, wonton soup, and fried wontonsz. A lot of quality food, for an amazing price. Rest of menu is decently priced. Food 5/5: here it is, the best in the South Bay. Hands down. Pick anything on the menu.. I'd say orange chicken, pepper fried pork chops, or Mongolia. However their sleeper dish is the "three meats king pao". All fire. Ambiance 3/5: No frills, or fluffs... basic Chinese restaurant seating. Nothing special with the ambiance... it's the food that counts. You won't be disappointed.

It's not the glitz and glamour type of restaurant it's the kind of spot that instantly brings you back to childhood with the smells, the sounds, and that familiar mom-and-pop energy. The salt & pepper shrimp was the standout for me crispy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and honestly so good it feels like it's in its own world. It has that nostalgic taste that hits in a way newer restaurants can't recreate. Nothing about Lucky China feels mass-produced or corporate. You can tell it's run with heart, history, and pride. It's the kind of place you keep in your rotation not because it's trendy, but because it makes you feel taken care of. If you're looking for a true mom-and-pop experience with amazing food and that old-school charm, Lucky China is it. I'd absolutely recommend it.

If you've ever had popcorn chicken from a good boba shop, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. We asked for not spicy and there was only a hint of white pepper. The only negative was the presentation. It is served in a large paper cone. That's fine if you're eating and walking with it. But at a table, the cone was so tall that you have to stand up to see the chicken inside. And you have to rotate the cone if you're sharing since one side of the cone is taller than the other. The stinky tofu was serviceable but it could have been stinkier. The beef noodle soup was okay. The beef was very tender and the soup was good. But it's not as flavorful as the ones at Sue's Kitchen up the street. The only miss for me was the Dan Dan noodles. I was warned it was spicy but it was a bit spicier than I anticipated. That's ok but the sauce had a weird sour taste to it that was kind of off putting. The service is very attentive. I wish they served boba drinks. Overall we will definitely be back. I can't wait until they open their new branch up in Palos Verdes later this year.

There was eight of us, and we ordered a lot of dishes to share. I'm gonna break them down, but I have to say that nothing we had was not top quality. I haven't had food like this in years. First was the Kung pow chicken. Wow, it was just a perfect blend of spice and the chicken was perfect. No gristle. And that is the theme of this entire meal. I hate gristle, this Kung pow was sublime. Sweet-and-sour pork. I basically given up on this dish because no one gets it right, and it's always an excuse to hide gristle and fat. Not in this case. It was super tasty and for the first time I can remember there wasn't 1 ounce of gristle in this meat. It was just crispy tasty wonderful. Hong Kong style chow mein with pork. Another dish I haven't had in years, and this place nailed it. Reminded me of my old China house restaurant in Alameda. I mean it was really good. The pork was awesome, the gravy was perfect. What a great dish. The fried rice was excellent. Not greasy at all. I believe we got a combination fried rice and man was it good. Shrimp with lobster sauce. This was excellent, God this dinner was just so great, and this dish was right in there with the rest of them. I can't wait to go visit family again so I can eat at this place. It was spectacular. Oh and the last thing, the hot and sour soup was amazing. Again haven't had this type of food since I left the Bay Area. I give this meal a triple wow!!!

We ordered the xiao long bao, broccoli beef, beef rolls, and chicken chow mein. The xiao long bao was excellent with a good amount of soup in each dumpling, and the beef rolls were probably my favorite item, especially dipped in a mix of black vinegar and soy sauce. The broccoli beef had a nice flavor, though I wished it had a little more meat. The chicken chow mein was the weakest dish for me: the noodle texture was great, but the overall flavor didn't stand out as much as I expected. Ordering was easy and the menu was very approachable thanks to the pictures. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which actually made it easier to get a server's attention when needed. Food also came out pretty quickly. The ambiance is straightforward and comfortable -- nothing fancy, just a solid neighborhood restaurant. Because it's small, you may have to wait if it gets busy, but tables seemed to turn over quickly thanks to the fast service. One practical tip: the portion sizes are bigger than they look.
