Got the combination chow mein. Noodles were cooked well. Not greasy at all. Service was very friendly.

    Kung pao chicken lunch special

Very good, tasty food! First time there and would go back again and try other things. Ordered Kung pao chicken lunch special and it included rice (choice of white or fried), soup and an egg roll. Kung pao - 9/10 - very good flavor. Would have liked a few more peanuts in it. Fried rice 9/10 - very good Egg roll 10/10 - perfectly crispy, great flavor. Served with nice, thick sweet & sour sauce Soup 5/10 - egg flower soup - no real taste & very thick Total price $16.50

Picked up today on the fly. Food was ready fast, parking was easy in a shared lot, and most of all food tasted good. The menus available on yelp were old so I expected way lower prices. I posted updated menus and prices below. The flower egg drop soup was really good. Just enough salt and good flavor. Chicken lo mein was also yummy. Perhaps a bit salty where the noodles had soaked in too much of the sauce. Szechuwan Beef was decent. They didn't have seating available. Blocked off the front entrance with tables and only seemed to be doing take-out. Pricier than I had expected but everything has gone up lately. They did pack the containers to explosion so they didn't scrimp on portions. I would definitely pick up again and try some other dishes.

My girlfriend and I wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant and found this spot near Kaiser. Thinking we would sit and eat, the owners had it closed off and left us to order takeout. We ordered Chicken Lo Mein which was really good. Also beef kung pao which was very good and the vegetable fried rice was delicious. My girlfriend also ordered the spring rolls and the spicy dumplings. She truly enjoyed them and I always like to see a smile on her face. This place used the same package containers as other restaurants we enjoy which was good to see. Definitely good food and if you live closer, I suggest you give it a try.

Upon entering the location was in a dirty strip mall..... but that has nothing to do with how the food could taste. Going inside the place needed a good cleaning... the floor mat kept sticking to my shoes. Again that has nothing to do with flavor. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice & Sweet and Sout Chicken. The Rice was not thoroughly cooked had pockets of white rice uncooked... but it was edible.....However the chicken YUCK!!! I have no clue what that was... I don't think I can go back to that place again. I spent $32 there and after my one serving the rest went into the trash. I really hate having to throw away food. I would not even give this away. Although they accept Apple Pay you have to open up the Apple Pay on your phone, hand them the phone and let them walk back to the register and read it. Lastly, I make this review so people can get an idea of my experience. I'm not trying to trash this place, I just feel they are not good. I gave them two stars Today I called the establishment. Spoke with manager and discussed the situation. She told me "oh well you bought it and we don't refund" just let me know that she does not care about her customers, nor does she stand by the quality of the food that they prepare. Even large establishments can have an off day, will offer you an adjustment or replacement just to try it out again. Not these people. I am going to report them to the LA County health Department, because the overall dirtiness in the inside waiting area. Good luck to all that go there and just beware.

One of my favorite places to have lunch. Hun and her husband who is an amazing cook really aim to please their customers. Anything you order will be freaking cooked. Some of my recommendations are, The Chicken Vegetable, Chicken Mushroom, Fish in Blackbeansauce,

There was eight of us, and we ordered a lot of dishes to share. I'm gonna break them down, but I have to say that nothing we had was not top quality. I haven't had food like this in years. First was the Kung pow chicken. Wow, it was just a perfect blend of spice and the chicken was perfect. No gristle. And that is the theme of this entire meal. I hate gristle, this Kung pow was sublime. Sweet-and-sour pork. I basically given up on this dish because no one gets it right, and it's always an excuse to hide gristle and fat. Not in this case. It was super tasty and for the first time I can remember there wasn't 1 ounce of gristle in this meat. It was just crispy tasty wonderful. Hong Kong style chow mein with pork. Another dish I haven't had in years, and this place nailed it. Reminded me of my old China house restaurant in Alameda. I mean it was really good. The pork was awesome, the gravy was perfect. What a great dish. The fried rice was excellent. Not greasy at all. I believe we got a combination fried rice and man was it good. Shrimp with lobster sauce. This was excellent, God this dinner was just so great, and this dish was right in there with the rest of them. I can't wait to go visit family again so I can eat at this place. It was spectacular. Oh and the last thing, the hot and sour soup was amazing. Again haven't had this type of food since I left the Bay Area. I give this meal a triple wow!!!

If you've ever had popcorn chicken from a good boba shop, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. The chicken is crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and somehow manages to disappear before I make it home. The fried basil is the real MVP though! crispy, fragrant, and incredibly addictive! Highly recommend checking out this local gem!!!

We asked for not spicy and there was only a hint of white pepper. The only negative was the presentation. It is served in a large paper cone. That's fine if you're eating and walking with it. But at a table, the cone was so tall that you have to stand up to see the chicken inside. And you have to rotate the cone if you're sharing since one side of the cone is taller than the other. The stinky tofu was serviceable but it could have been stinkier. The beef noodle soup was okay. The beef was very tender and the soup was good. But it's not as flavorful as the ones at Sue's Kitchen up the street. The only miss for me was the Dan Dan noodles. I was warned it was spicy but it was a bit spicier than I anticipated. That's ok but the sauce had a weird sour taste to it that was kind of off putting. The service is very attentive. I wish they served boba drinks. Overall we will definitely be back. I can't wait until they open their new branch up in Palos Verdes later this year.
