Great fast friendly Service love the lunch specials from 11 to 2:30pm . Good choices Food serve fairly fast and hot and great tasting recommended for your Chinese lunch needs.

Lucky China is one of those real old-school gems that reminds you what comfort food should feel like. It's not the glitz and glamour type of restaurant it's the kind of spot that instantly brings you back to childhood with the smells, the sounds, and that familiar mom-and-pop energy. You walk in and it just feels like home. The food is the real reason you come here, and it absolutely delivers. The salt & pepper shrimp was the standout for me crispy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and honestly so good it feels like it's in its own world. It has that nostalgic taste that hits in a way newer restaurants can't recreate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nothing about Lucky China feels mass-produced or corporate. You can tell it's run with heart, history, and pride.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's the kind of place you keep in your rotation not because it's trendy, but because it makes you feel taken care of.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're looking for a true mom-and-pop experience with amazing food and that old-school charm, Lucky China is it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd absolutely recommend it.

Everything tasted old also felt like they boiled the meat and then threw it in sauce. For $125 to feed my family I feel like I got ripped off.

Because it was from a DoorDash order so saying I had to request a stupid refund, what a total mess. Mo if you're reading this, I've been coming in here for the last five years. This is the worst out of all visits... I couldn't believe I had to have an attitude with your Manager, she was so incompetent in the situation and her best response is "I just work here" took absolutely no ownership in the situation, and was so uninterested on helping. She didn't know how to process an exchange and redo the order., and if your phone line was only working so I can call in to tell them to remove the onions, none of this would've happened, You should empower your staff and give them the authorization to do things when you're not around, so this kind of screw-up doesn't happen again. I'm irritated, This is not how I wanted to spend my weekend.

I was googling Chinese restaurants in my work area and I have only tried one other across the street and wanted to try another mom and pop but place my order online for pick up. This place was the only one that had a website (out of the ones I searched) that you could place an order online and pay for (I could have called in an order I suppose at the other places). Located in a really tiny strip mall with a convenience store and a couple of other restaurants, parking is super tight and made me super nervous driving through it (blink of an eye). I opted to park at the USA Gasoline station next door (at a gas pump) as there were no parking spots available. When I walked in, the place looks like a complete dump (sorry, being honest here) with clutter everywhere! One family was dining in and there is one long table and two other separate tables so I would not plan on dining in (just take out). I was not worried about the food quality cause as they say, hole in the walls have the best food! So I placed my order at 11:29am & it was supposed to be ready by 11:43am; however, it was not ready until 11:55am. I got a lil nervous due to where I parked (at the gas station) so I noticed a couple of open spots in their congested parking lot and immediately moved my car. Magic happened upon my return: my food was ready! I ordered the kung pao chicken with steamed rice (brown or fried is 1.00 more). I also added on the hot and sour soup, egg roll, and fried wonton for 1.99 more. With tax, my order came to 20 bucks and some change. For the portion size, it equated to two meals for just the kung pao chicken (not the rice nor apps). As for flavor, I ordered medium on the heat level and it was not spicy and it was good but lacking a bit on flavor. The owner who served my takeout was very nice but you could tell she was a bit busy manning to go orders. Not opposed to trying this place again, but the parking situation is a major stress fest.

There was eight of us, and we ordered a lot of dishes to share. I'm gonna break them down, but I have to say that nothing we had was not top quality. I haven't had food like this in years. First was the Kung pow chicken. Wow, it was just a perfect blend of spice and the chicken was perfect. No gristle. And that is the theme of this entire meal. I hate gristle, this Kung pow was sublime. Sweet-and-sour pork. I basically given up on this dish because no one gets it right, and it's always an excuse to hide gristle and fat. Not in this case. It was super tasty and for the first time I can remember there wasn't 1 ounce of gristle in this meat. It was just crispy tasty wonderful. Hong Kong style chow mein with pork. Another dish I haven't had in years, and this place nailed it. Reminded me of my old China house restaurant in Alameda. I mean it was really good. The pork was awesome, the gravy was perfect. What a great dish. The fried rice was excellent. Not greasy at all. I believe we got a combination fried rice and man was it good. Shrimp with lobster sauce. This was excellent, God this dinner was just so great, and this dish was right in there with the rest of them. I can't wait to go visit family again so I can eat at this place. It was spectacular. Oh and the last thing, the hot and sour soup was amazing. Again haven't had this type of food since I left the Bay Area. I give this meal a triple wow!!!

We ordered the xiao long bao, broccoli beef, beef rolls, and chicken chow mein. The xiao long bao was excellent with a good amount of soup in each dumpling, and the beef rolls were probably my favorite item, especially dipped in a mix of black vinegar and soy sauce. The broccoli beef had a nice flavor, though I wished it had a little more meat. The chicken chow mein was the weakest dish for me: the noodle texture was great, but the overall flavor didn't stand out as much as I expected. Ordering was easy and the menu was very approachable thanks to the pictures. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which actually made it easier to get a server's attention when needed. Food also came out pretty quickly. The ambiance is straightforward and comfortable -- nothing fancy, just a solid neighborhood restaurant. Because it's small, you may have to wait if it gets busy, but tables seemed to turn over quickly thanks to the fast service. One practical tip: the portion sizes are bigger than they look. We had a table for two and ended up with dishes crowding the table pretty quickly. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back.

They're typically very busy when we go on a weekday night. But once we got seated, service was fine. I usually get the pork wontons with chili oil. It's flavorful and it's actually not really spicy. I ended up dipping my noodles in the chili oil sauce from the wontons just to get more flavor in it. Good place to come for simple dishes. Overall pricing is reasonable as well.
