Cinnamon twisted roll when you feel like rock n roll

I want to say thank you to the staff for opening up early in the morning to serve that deliciously donuts and Vietnamese coffee. Especially to the chef for making that super delicious Chow Fun and special fried rice. Unbelievable dish. The flavor is perfect to taste. Rich in sauce and texture. Let's dive right into the good stuff, but if my ways of describing things don't please you. Take a look at some of the pictures I've attached to this review. My orders are, Appetizer: 1. 1x Egg roll The egg roll is mixed with shredded cabbage chopped meat, or other fillings inside a thickly-wrapped wheat flour skin. Main: 1. Tuna Sandwhich Canned tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, relish, etc... any others upon request. This Tunalicious Sandwhich was super duper juicy deliciously. What incredible Sandwhich when combined with all the additives. The best Tuna Sandwhich, my opinion. It was so fresh and so good. What can you ask for during brunch. I definitely recommend this location due to their choices of custom-made orders. This place is clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is limited but have street parking. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!

My go to place to get my favorite ham and cheese croissants since forever bought a few of my co workers and they devoured it and said it was delicious and fresh if, you want to order a few of them you have to order it in advance so they can make it for you b/c these bad boy sale out quick. Servers are polite and sweet and the place is very roomy

3.5 Stars! Donuts and Asian Fast Food! Fast, Easy and Cheap..3.5 Stars! Where else can you stop  and get fast chinese style food and fesh donuts. Wait, theres more! They also have coffee and drinks and are open early.  Nothing beats an all-nighter that is topped off with a togo order of orange chicken, orange glazed donuts and a large coffee. Icing on the cake is that the donuts are fresh and you won't  leave with an empty wallet.   The ladies working here are really nice. The parking lot is small but I have always found a spot. This is a good choice if you are in a rush and want a quick bite, donuts for dessert and not spend a lot.  A dozen donuts will cost you about 40 to 50% less than some of the other local donut spots.  Overall, reasonably priced, easy parking, fast and easy lunch and donuts.

I need my refund. I ordered for my daughters birthday party to be picked up last Saturday OCT 1st and your store is closed due to Gas Leak. I understand but you have to call and inform your customers who's relying on that food. Very unprofessional. Up until now the store is closed and i haven't received my refund.

    Great selection of foods!

As donut places go, this is pretty standard offerings, but wait, they serve croissant sandwiches too, which makes a world of difference. Did I mention they make chine food too? This place has breakfast and lunch covered for the working folks here in Long Beach/Carson. The food is excellent, and the two women running the show have their act together. If you have a big order, they even through in a dozen donut holes for good measure. I can't say it's the healthiest of breakfasts, but it sure is good as we slowly get ready for another days duty at work.

A standard looking Chinese fast food joint. They have donuts, fruit drinks, sandwiches, great for those working nearby to stop for lunch. Although it looks very simple, this place has a great variety of food and combinations, something for everybody. The tuna sandwich, however, stands out above all their menu. It is absolutely the best tuna sandwich ever in size, price, and taste. If you like tuna, definitely worth a trip. Not much parking but it's never too busy around here.

Chinese food on the left. Donuts on the right with small seating area in front.

I know prices are raising everywhere but for the price you're paying, SOME food quality would be nice. This was the last straw for me, I ordered a taco and a chicken salad. The taco was so beyond salty and oily I could not eat it. It literally melted thru the bag that's how oily it was and the amount of lettuce on it was almost comical. The salad I thought would have grilled chicken nicely on top but it was actually a bunch of cooked chopped chicken and a grip of cheese melted on top (I was unaware this is how they did their salad so that's my bad but also why put a bunch of hot chicken on lettuce like that??) it wilted the salad underneath which already had some bad leaves in there anyways and kind of defeated the point of a salad for a healthier option. The service is hot and miss, sometimes they're nice enough but a lot of the time it almost feels like you're bothering them or something The inside is your usual American type fast food place. Their burgers and Fries aren't bad (when they give them to you and not a tuna melt instead) but all and all I think it's worth passing on this location. Save yourself some money and some indigestion.

Our group of four had a chance to stop by for an early dine-in dinner, and found the chicken to well prepared and tasty. Originally founded in 1976 in Los Angeles by a enterprising franchisee who wanted to create his own fast food brand, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken soon became very popular with LA residents. As sometimes happens with immigrant communities by word of mouth and 'paying it forward', the burgeoning Cambodians began to be the majority owners of franchisees, until it resulted in the brand being sold to a Cambodian in 2009. Considering the largest concentration of Cambodians outside of Cambodia is in Long Beach, California, I wanted to try this particular location. They also sell donuts here, and my credit card bill actually listed the donut shop as the vendor...this for me is not a selling point, but was not noticeable during our visit. It's a walk-up set-up, where you order/pay for your food through security windows. We ordered a 12-piece family combo for $35.45, which included 3 pieces of breast/thigh/wing/leg, 2 small orders of fries, a coleslaw and 6 rolls. They also sell fried catfish and shrimp, so got a 4 pc shrimp ($3.85). They only sell drinks by cans or bottles, so got 4 cans of Coke/Pepsi/Squirt. It is clearly stated that each order is fried fresh, taking about 20 minutes. Our order was ready in 15 minutes, and we decided to dine-in (a small makeshift outdoor dining area with temporary tables was set-up). The chicken was well brined and had been fried well (leaving plenty of space between the chicken), with the outer coat being crunchy with a little bit of spice. For me it tasted very similar to the popular national chain, but with more consistency. The 'small' fries were not that at all, but very large...with one being enough to feed the four of us. The fries looked underdone, but were not. There were no condiments available, so the saving grace was the thin hot sauce that you could dip your fries and chicken into. The rolls were forgettable, and the coleslaw was grocery store quality (which I actually like). In fact, the chicken and sides reminded me of what you could get at a grocery store deli, except always getting the chicken fresh, instead of ones that have been fried too many to a basket and sitting too long under a heat lamp. Freshness definitely matters here. There was plenty of food for the 4 of us, with us taking half of the meal home. It reheated very well, providing us a good lunch the following day.

YessVera's Tacos in Long Beach is hands down my go-to spot for tacos…read more I've been coming here for a few years now, and tacos are one of my top five favorite foods, so I'm pretty particular. I've tried almost everything on the menu, with maybe one or two meats left, and everything has been great. I've had the tacos, nachos, burritos, and even the horchata, and they always hit. The sauces though... OMG. That's really what takes it over the top. They're so good I've definitely taken an extra one or two home to use with breakfast the next day. My favorite meat is the asada, and I also really enjoy their potato tacos, which I almost forgot to mention. Super flavorful and always satisfying. Customer service is really nice, and even though they're usually pretty busy, you still get your food fairly fast for the amount of people there. Just a heads up, parking is super limited, so I definitely recommend calling ahead, placing your order, and then picking it up. It's a food truck setup at a market, so it's not really about ambience, but they do have some outdoor seating if you want to sit and eat. Vera's tacos is just a great little spot with consistently delicious food. Definitely one of the best taco spots in Long Beach. Flavor Profile (for reference): Umami-forward (savory, salty depth) Acidic or bright (tangy + sour) Pungent and intense (spicy and bitter notes) Drink Preference (for reference): Bitter-forward cocktails Balanced acidity Light sweetness only, not overly sugary

The carne asada here is delish - it's flavorful and tender. I like it taco form, but it's also great in a burrito. Whatever the case, the carne asada is solid. My favorite thing I've eaten so far are the tacos dorados de papa. For about $10, you get 4-5 taco(?) in a little foil tin. They're deep fried, topped with lettuce and crema. The tacos have just the right amount of potato to keep them meaty after a dip in the fryer. The toppings keep it feeling fresh. Deliciouso. Prices are very reasonable, if not cheap. Highly recommend Vera's Tacos if you're looking for something quick and easy.

This location in Signal Hill is the closest to our home, and we have been here before. So when we had an errand to run in the area, stopped by here for carry-out, even though there was dining space available. Service was great, the food this time wasn't the greatest. It was a rainy New Years Eve, so they were running their 'Kids get free Hot Cocoa' promo, and people were taking advantage. Even with such a very small published menu, there is definitely in-n-out terminology that will help the ordering process. But if you don't know it, the cashiers have always been kind in explaining/confirming. This time was no exception. The food does take a while to be ready, since each burger is only started once the order is made. The burgers were prepared nicely for carryout in a paper box to minimize squishing, and the fries were in a separate paper bag. I got a double-double animal style, replacing the grilled onions with whole grilled onions ($6.35). In terms of the taste, the novelty has definitely been replaced by appreciation for their consistency. That being said, it wasn't a great day for toppings today...it's still whole leaves (not shredded) but there wasn't as much of it, resulting it being past wilting and getting near slimy territory (though the other burgers seemed OK). Not great. Only their spread (a thousand island like sauce, for me, tasting similar to Big Mac sauce) is available on the main menu, though one can ask for ketchup or mustard (no mayo, though). We got 3 cheeseburgers as well ($4.40 each) and the rest of our party seemed to enjoy theirs. As for the fries (2 at $2.40) each...they really need to be eaten immediately, with added salt and ketchup. It's probably the cleanest french fries one can get (just freshly cut potatoes, fried in sunflower oil), but isn't great in taste, fast food wise. They only have one size, and two servings was fine for the four of us. Having no freezers in the stores means having to use freshly hand cut fries, which sounds great, but doesn't reach the ceiling what a freshly fried Mickey D's fry can (sometimes) attain.

They've cleaned up the interior and the patio over the years, so it's become less dive-y but will likely never be able to shake the old Taco Bell building vibes. That's okay though, they don't have to -- you're coming for the food. Our order has been, and always will be, a chicken teriyaki burrito with everything, add avocado, as a combo, with a side of their jalapeno torreados. It isn't gourmet -- plain steamed rice, a generous pile of freshly chargrilled chicken, American cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, green onion, and teriyaki sauce. Adding the avocado costs a couple bucks but totally transforms the burrito into a calorie-dense behemoth that'll keep you going all day. The fries are always perfect and salty, and the jalapenos are doused in lemon-y pepper seasoning. Drizzle some Sriracha and teriyaki sauce in-between bites and you're golden (because Golden Bowl.
