We arrived here for an after work event. We had one of the back rooms to ourselves for (the most part). The two bartenders did a great job of keeping the group served. We visited with another couple on a quiet Saturday evening. We had reservations but because of the holiday weekend, we probably did not need them. Liked the ambiance immediately upon walking in. We began with appetizers that included Salt Baked German Pretzels and the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. The pretzels consisted of two that were medium sized. Salty and very tasty with a little butter. The Brussel Sprouts were excellent. Nice portion and very tasty with a little bacon added. Our entrees included two orders of the fish and chips, the wok seared Atlantic Salmon, and the Grilled Filet Mignon. The fish and chips were a big hit. Not that greasy and huge portion. Fries on the greasy side. The wok seared salmon was amazing. Huge piece of Salmon served on a bed of vegetable fried rice with a sweet soy sauce. Outstanding. Our friend devoured his filet mignon. The plate never had a chance. The service was excellent and friendly. The prices were reasonable and competitive. There was plenty of parking in their private parking lot. I last reviewed Delicious Heights way back in 2014 and have revisited this location on a few different occasions over the years. It's beginning to feel as if the restaurant menu is becoming stale or new ideas need to be put in place by some creative cooking minds. The rustic décor is also starting to feel a bit outdated, and the furniture feels worn. Some better lighting, color, art, or something else could also help uplift the indoor environment and bring a modern touch to the ambience. I just recently visited with family and ordered the smokehouse burger, firecracker cauliflower as an appetizer and a side of coleslaw. I requested the burger to be cooked to medium which did come to the table as requested. The burger was a bit on the messy side but was passable, nothing to travel long distances to sample but passable. The firecracker cauliflower was the highlight though. It was hot, sweet, and spicy, and it had a nice crunch. Coleslaw was coleslaw, people don't choose restaurants for coleslaw, but it was passable as well. The fries which accompanied the burger were hot, crispy, and satisfying. The restaurant was busy as it was a Saturday night and service was a bit slow to start. There was a confusion of who would be waiting on our table. Once our server was located, she took care of us throughout our meal, and she did a great job of making use feel welcomed and relaxed. Overall, the 3-star rating is probably an agreeable number to give nine years after my original review. What was once a remarkable experience just feels a bit outdated now. I wasn't really excited to eat here but my mother-in-law was in town and this an easy-going menu to comfortably please a picky eater. I would recommend Delicious Heights to people who are looking for a quick and affordable meal, but I would suggest trying somewhere else if you're looking for a more special dining experience. read more

Traveling with my dog and saw that BringFido notes DH is dog friendly. Doggies are allowed in their covered outdoor patio (as well as the side outdoor tables). The covered patio had heat lamps. It was 60 degrees out, but we were very comfortable. Our service was wonderful and yummy food. Will def come back again! read more

Delicious heights seems like a great restaurant to go to when you was casual dining. It can accommodate large and small parties and is suitable for both. I most recently went to DH with a group of friends and sat in the bar area. It was a week night and the place was packed which was great to see and we didn't have a problem finding seating for a party of 6. There are also a bunch of tvs so if you're looking for games they probably have what you want to see. We were quickly greeted by the bartender after we arrived. ***remember to check in on Yelp and you receive a free margarita pizza*** he was very patient (I wish I remembered his name because he was seriously awesome and really made our night special!) and attentive. Our group arrived in waves and he didn't mind giving us time to take our orders and wait for the rest of the group to arrive. So service was on par that night! The waiter also was able to remember all of our food modifications and restrictions. He even made a really thoughtful recommendation to my sister-in-law after he realized she couldn't haven't certain things. Very appreciative. The food was pretty good! No complaints. My husband got the poke bowl and it looked really yummy. My salad was just what I wild expect it to be, which can be just what you need sometimes. Try out this local spot , from yelp reviews it could be hit or miss . The place is super clean and very trendy. The food was average american type food I had the nachos app that was very good very small for the money . This place seems way expensive for the quality and amount of food you get on your plate . They had a kids menu that my daughter eat off of just to let you guys know with kids the mini chesse burgers are super mini !!!! But my daughter like them wish they were bigger ,Maybe 1.5 oz tops . My wife had the chesse with a side of Fries that were crisp on the outside and mushy on the inside. She thought it was excellent and for the cash it seemed fair , not a great value. The waiting staff seemed overwhelmed that night so I don't want to comment on that . It's been about 10 years since I ate here... WOWZERS! The entire menu is awful. I remember when I first started dining here... the menu was tasty just to read. Overly sweet Vodka sauce on the Panko chicken. Sweet pork belly dish. Lacking major opportunities for savoriness. Even the lemonade taste bad. We had our daughter's baby shower here this past Saturday 6/3/23, and we couldn't be more pleased! Everything went smoothly. The food was excellent and the service was superb. I'm sorry I didn't get each servers name but thank you again. The room was just right. The ambience is very nice with a good vibe. The staff was very accommodating to us as we had a lot of decorations to put up.Special thanks to Brittany Boehm and Mike Romano for your assistance in all of the arrangements. This place is very family friendly and we had a very good dinner here. Sat in a high top booth near the bar area. Service was fast and friendly. Drinks were good. We had a couple of appys...buffalo wings were standard, the pretzel appy was forgettable, and an amazingly spicy sriachi garlic shrimp appy with quinoa. Apparently, you come here for the ribs...served with Cole slaw and mashed potatoes, they were devoured. The salad was very good and a large portion. I came here with my Dad on a Sunday night for the opposite of a "quick bite"-- probably the hardest type of customer to properly take care of because our pace of ordering was all over the place. Also: the pandemic. Where I live, dining times max out at 90 minutes, but we had so much to catch up on, I worried at first we would be rushed. While I'm not sure if the 90 min rule extends to Berkley Heights, we were never shoved out the door. What made this meal so pleasant was, a. the mojito was on point, with properly spanked mint; and b. our waitress Taylor was great. She was attentive but not annoying. She took great care of us and was very sweet and patient with our somewhat awkward ordering. Dad had the soup of the day and loved it. I dropped the ball in regards to my dad's birthday dessert (we both filled up too much), but after I told the hostess, they brought a little ice cream with a candle. It was just what he needed-- the pandemic has caused us to not be able to see one another very often (my dad is kinda old, and it's risky).. we felt safe with their procedures and felt comfortable enjoying not only the food, but some well-needed father-daughter time. We went to Delicious Heights for a quick lunch and were generally satisfied. We went for some appetizer bar fare: pretzels, chicken tenders, and strip steak bites. The pretzels were alright, but the Buffalo chicken tenders tasted funny and the breading was mushy. The steak was tender and cooked nicely, though it was served on some stale pita chips or something. Delicious Heights offered a Yelp check-in bonus for free pizza, but apparently they were out of pizza and couldn't apply the promo to something else. They were also out of 3 beers - which happened to be the 3 beers I tried to order - I ultimately settled on a 4th choice bottle. Bummer. I split a panko chicken sandwich - which was breaded chicken, served with bell peppers, mozzarella and broccoli rabe on a sandwich. It was okay, if a bit unusual. I've been to Delicious Heights on two occasions only for lunch. Neither time, I have not been disappointed in the food quality or customer service. The first time for lunch, I had a delicious Victorian Ocean Perch (lunch portion). The fish was beautifully coated with macadamia nuts $15.00. Autumnal squash was a very tasty side. My second lunch occasion (today), I had for starters two large scrumptious soft German pretzels with sweet mustard and horseradish sauces $7.00. My entrée consisted of an excellent lunch size portion Red Snapper with mango chutney $18.00. Couscous and spinach came along with it too. Lastly, I had a double espresso $5.00. Jenna was my server. She was a real sweetheart. Everyone is very friendly in the restaurant. I am definitely returning to Delicious Heights to try different dishes. The restaurant has its own private lot. At lunch time, I had no problems parking. Must say that the restaurant Delicious Heights has definitely taking the quality of food and customer service to even much greater heights! I was in the area for an event and needed a quick bite beforehand. Lauren T (who is a local) suggested Delicious Heights. She is a regular there, and after my visit I'm sure that I'd become one as well if I lived in the neighborhood. The inside is extremely spacious and well decorated. There is ample space to mingle and hang by the bar, and also lots of tables if you are looking to come in for a meal. We sat at a hightop and went splits on some apps. Because it was Tuesday, all apps were half off which was a major win! The guac was creamy and delicious and came with a large portion. But, the standout of the app show most definitely was the chicken lettuce wraps. The waiter told us that these bad guys are their most ordered item, and I certainly wasn't surprised. The chicken has got the perfect crunch and flavor and is dripping in a sweet and tangy glaze. The wraps also come with an entire fixings bar, and you can add on an additional creamy ranch sauce and some asian veggie and slaw options. These definitely put any other lettuce wraps that I've ordered in the past to shame. Only reason that I'd take off a star is pricing. Apps were half off which was reasonable, but without that discount they were outlandishly high. Most apps were around 14 dollars. Including the guac which I thought was pretty crazy- I've never seen that in my life. I'm happy to pay 7 bills, but the regular prices just seemed to be a bit much. But, service, ambiance and food is five stars all the way. I'd definitely return! read more
