    Southwest Shrimp Bowl

I ordered the Southwest Shrimp Bowl 10/10, decent sized blackened shrimp and the dressing they use is really great too. The chicken cutlet sandwich is good too, but order a side of vodka sauce to dip it in, definitely takes it over the top! We sat outside, it was nice and quiet and service was great too. Can't wait to go back and have the bowl again

Came for a group lunch as a recommendation from a friend, on a Sunday. Fun place! Was a little quiet, but we came midday. Our server was friendly, and other staff were kind and helpful. Food was solid. Prices were pretty standard, and everyone enjoyed their food. We weren't going to get dessert but I'm glad we did... the cookie skillet turned out to be delicious.

Haven't been to this place in quite some time, so I knew their menu would be different. But change isn't always a bad thing, I loved everything that we ordered! The apps were great steak tips cooked perfectly, monkey bread was tasty, spinach dip was great but didn't care for the pita bread , tortilla chips went way better. Used the pita to make a sandwich with the steak, genius. Wanted something sweet of course so got the deconstructed s'mores & cookie dough brownie skillet , both were delicious and super rich !

I live around the corner and finally tried this joint. The fries needed to be cooked linger but the bacon burger is fire. Cooked perfectly. Loads of veggies & bacon. Their menu is extensive and they are always busy during happy hour with locals. I am a huge fan.

Very attractive restaurant with a nice bar area. Went here with a dozen friends and everyone enjoyed themselves. Decent beers on tap. My Bloody Mary was tasty. The wings were spicy and crispy. The chicken fingers were really outstanding (the best appetizer by far). The fried calamari was good also. Our group enjoyed a variety of sandwiches. Our bartenders Chris and Taylor were friendly and attentive and made it a fun evening for our crew. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Delicious heights seems like a great restaurant to go to when you was casual dining. It can accommodate large and small parties and is suitable for both. I most recently went to DH with a group of friends and sat in the bar area. It was a week night and the place was packed which was great to see and we didn't have a problem finding seating for a party of 6. There are also a bunch of tvs so if you're looking for games they probably have what you want to see. We were quickly greeted by the bartender after we arrived. ***remember to check in on Yelp and you receive a free margarita pizza*** he was very patient (I wish I remembered his name because he was seriously awesome and really made our night special!) and attentive. Our group arrived in waves and he didn't mind giving us time to take our orders and wait for the rest of the group to arrive. So service was on par that night! The waiter also was able to remember all of our food modifications and restrictions. He even made a really thoughtful recommendation to my sister-in-law after he realized she couldn't haven't certain things. Very appreciative. The food was pretty good! No complaints. My husband got the poke bowl and it looked really yummy. My salad was just what I wild expect it to be, which can be just what you need sometimes. DH is a nice options whether your going for dinner for two, group, or to hang out by the bar.

The Chicken Fried Rice was probably the most amazing fried rice I have had in my entire life. Asahi roll was super fresh and beautifully presented. The staff was also super accommodating and made my mom a steamed shrimp and cucumber roll, even though it wasn't strictly on the menu. Awesome time all around, and I would highly recommend coming here for great sushi.

By no exaggeration it's the worst sushi I've had the experience of eating. My group ordered a ramen, a sushi platter, and a sashimi platter. To start with a positive, the tonkotsu ramen was tasty and it had a nice balance of flavors. Now, I'm not sure if maybe it was just a bad day but the texture of the tuna was like mushy, grainy gel. The salmon didn't fare much better as it had an uncomfortably soft and mushy mouth feel. In addition, the sushi rice was on the warm side. The most disappointing though was the flavor, totally absent and none of the sushi had the slight savory/umami taste that I've come to expect in good fish. (Sushi making side note: preparing the fish usually involves a brine that enhances the taste and texture of the meat. My guess is that maybe this step was skipped, but I honestly have no clue what they did to that fish) When my group left, we all had to debrief about how bizarre the sushi was. I don't want to be mean spirited in any way, our server was very attentive and the manager/owner also checked in with us while we dined. I just cannot in good faith recommend this place to anyone from my own experience. Atmosphere & Staff: 4.5/5 Ramen: 3.5/5 Sushi: 1/5 Sashimi: 0/5

The space has a warm and modern feel. On the food side, I enjoyed a beet salad. The dish was beautifully presented with a generous portion of beets underneath a tower of greens, topped with a fried goat cheese cake. Delicious! For cocktails, I started with "The Perfect Pairing" - a seasonal whiskey cocktail with Widow Jane applewood rye, Aperol, spicy pear liqueur, bitters, and muddled orange. I really enjoyed this sturdy cocktail. I'm not much of a dessert cocktail person, but Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream is my flavor, so I indulged with mixology ace Giovanni's "Mint Chocolate Martini." Pumping up the vanilla vodka, creme de menthe and another liqueur was mint chocolate ice cream. Other guests were raving about the espresso martinis (that use freshly brewed espresso right off the machine). It's safe to say that dessert cocktails are a strong suit at Providence Bar! Chatting with owner Eric, I learned that the patio has a retractable roof which will be opening up with warmer weather close at hand. They also hold special events (wine and food pairings, cigar nights, mixology classes). With great food, cocktails, and service - Providence Bar is highly recommended. I look forward to returning soon.

Summary: Food was excellent. Overall service was lacking…read more We arrived at the restaurant and we were seated promptly. The host provided us with our menus upon each of us sitting in our chair, and we thought we were in for a nice customer experience. Upon being seated, we waited about 10 minutes to get bread and water, and then another 10 minutes after that for someone to take our drink order...and then the bar was backed up, so we did not get a drink in hand until about 30 minutes in. You would think that if it took that long to get drinks, you might want to put the appetizer order in when we ordered the drinks. This did not happen. We did not put our food order in until about 45-60 minutes. The apps we ordered were very good. The entrees were good as well, although upon ordering filet mignon medium rare, the meat was severely undercooked (essentially raw and jiggling). We had to request the order be heated to the correct temperature, which our waiter did without hesitation. Unfortunately, as we waited for this to occur the rest of our meals waited to be consumed. We then ordered our coffees/desserts - only 2. Our coffees came out within about 10 minutes, which we finished in another 10 minutes. Dessert did not hit our table for about 25 minutes. We had a 6pm reservation for 3 people. The entire meal took 2.5 hours to compete. We only ordered a total of 3 alcoholic beverages, 3 apps, 3 entrees and 2 desserts. From my perspective, the restaurant did not staff an adequate number of wait staff for the volume of customers. Additionally, there should be a dedicated staff member that can run drinks to tables. Even the person that filled water glasses and delivered bread was falling behind. She brought out apps plates to our table as we were finishing up our apps and eating out of our bread plates. Not a big deal, but just added to the underperforming service. Again, food quality was excellent, but the restaurant did not nail a great service experience on this night. The good news is that hopefully they can correct this for the future.

What is outstanding to us is the care which all the staff and brewers show as they are there. Clearly the same love is widespread as the place was full on a Sunday afternoon. It is pleasing that many were there with their kids showing that this local business gives to the whole of the community. The enjoyment of brewing has moved past mere pub secrecy out to the whole of the community. A long calendar of events of all types from pub trivia to local music to sponsoring fellow food, eateries and holidays are all helpful to promote the family warranted nature of this business as it's clear with a large number of newborns and families as might be unusual and yet should be normalized. All staff are knowledgeable in the brewing and hospitality skills to succeed now and for the long run. Point of sale systems are able to keep open a tab and clearly distinguish ongoing bills. The marketing keeps rights with the sign ups of emails and keeping customer histories. Branding is consistent and relevant leading to a nice, smooth, comfortable customer experience. The two bathrooms are both individual and there are plenty of amenities like nooks and crannies the chat in and coat hooks and ledges and more private corners and food trucks rotate thru the good seasons and lots of lovely people always. Oakflower, just opened in 2022, was recommended time and time again, so we made this our first stop. I'm pleased to say it absolutely lived up to the hype. You can tell a brewery is serious about their beer when they don't offer flights or any kind of flavored seltzers. They are concentrating on making the best beer they can and it shows. 11 beers on tap with lots of hazy ales, a dangerously good 12.8% barrel aged stout, and a pale ale on nitro which I don't think I have ever seen before. We did a few tasters and a few full pours and everything we tried was fantastic. The taproom is spacious, airy, lots of plants and natural light which gave it a relaxed vibe. It was a Friday afternoon and was pleasantly full, with some of the bartenders passionately talking New York sports with some of the regulars. The friendly employees, the amazing beer, the well designed taproom, its location right across from an old train station in quaint downtown Millington... all of this together made for a perfect first visit. We live too far away to come back anytime soon, but we bought some beer to go to tide us over, and will definitely mention Oakflower to others when asked for brewery recommendations in North Jersey.
