On the busy road in downtown Scotch Plains. I sat outside for lunch and we received good service. A bit pricy for what you get, but the guacamole was good and cocktails well made. Overall it was a good meet up spot with some friends for a quick meal.

Stopped here just as they opened and I was immediately seated and my waitress came along and she was very friendly. I ended up ordering a Darby Classic burger with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes cooked medium well. The burger was good and the fries were salted properly and crispy. My only complaint is they seem to hide their beer list they give you a menu with the cocktails and adult coffee but I had to ask about their beer selection. A pub especially one trying to be a soccer pub should have a ample beer selection and scream it loud and proud.

I have been lucky enough to dine here, order out from here, and overall just enjoy the food which has been expertly crafted. Very consistent with wonderful service and food just done right. There are hearty options, healthy options. A few more craft brew options would be welcome.

Wow! So good, everything you want an Irish pub to be and more! Started off with the Gaelic nachos, the potato chips were fried nice and crispy and then topped with cheese, queso, bacon, pico de gallo, sour cream, jalapeños and olives. It was like Mexican nachos meets potato skins, 10 out of 10 and perfect for sharing. I had the French dip melt for lunch, it was delicious! My son had the Irish burger, he loved it, only thing I wish there was a burger with American bacon on the menu. Service was excellent, waitress was very friendly and nice and the vibes were on point. Darby road is a great spot for a family meal, a date, or a place to watch a game.

The three of us all agreed we enjoyed our food and will return to try more menu items in the future. The service was efficient. We had no complaints. This is a very lively atmosphere for the area and you could feel the energy in the room. I had the crispy ranch chicken sandwich special and my friends had the Caesar salad with salmon and shepherds pie. Everything was good. Parking is free in Scotch Plains and is also available on the street and in the municipal lot next to the restaurant. Only complaint would be the credit card fee, which is on the bill whether you are paying your credit card or cash.

Located in Scotch Plains downtown - Great venue for watching football or any other sport. Parking in never a problem as there is a free parking lot adjacent to it. Fun atmosphere, great service and solid pub food and good selection of beers and cocktails. They have 4 sections - bar area with high tables, dining area adjacent to bar with booths and tables , another dinning room with a bar and tables which they usually open for major games and a covered patio behind the bar. All sections have TVs to watch games while enjoying your drinks/meal. I have been there many times with my friends to watch soccer games and always had a great experience.

Cool party room in back lined with soccer scarves. Thank goodness for the tv to distract the kids from the 2+ hour dinner. Due to our large group, we had a limited menu to choose from. The pretzel bites were tasty. But my fried chicken sandwich was a bit dry and not too flavorful. I did enjoy some kind of mango beer, though.

I came here with co-workers to celebrate our end of year for lunch. I love pub style food. I had this loaded chicken sandwich and it was everything and them some! They have some pretty tasty alcoholic beverages as well.

Darby classic burger w/ cheddar cheese and sautéed onions... Excellent!

First time here, our server was Jade, she was great checked in often to see if you needed anything. My husband started off with the wild boar sausage appetizer. He said it was delicious, as I didn't taste any I'll take his word for it. For our dinners, he had a cheesesteak and I had the regular cheeseburger with cheddar cheese, sautéed onions with lettuce, and tomato... This cheesesteak was the least of the favorites that he's had that's why we're docking the star. Why would you serve a cheesesteak on a what I think was a brioche bun? I have no idea. My husband who is a pastry chef said that's what he believes it was. He said it was hard to chew and not what a cheesesteak should be served on. My burger however was delicious! One of my favorites cooked to a perfect medium rare and so flavorful and juicy. The burger was huge so I didn't want to eat my fries just so I could leave room to try and finish my burger but the fries were fresh and crispy too... We definitely plan to go back and try some of their other selections, everyone there was great!

My old phone was taking blurry pics from far away so I wasn't able to capture it, but think very cozy, fireplace with candles glowing from within, and little alcoves in the wall for candle clusters. It was perfectly elevated while still being casual and approachable. When we came there was a Mac and cheese special with pulled bbq pork on top. I knew we had to get that because it is right up my husbands alley. It did not disappoint, my husband was tempted to order some to take home! The pasta was super creamy and cheesy, mixed with the roasted pulled smoky bbq pork on top, it was the ultimate comfort food for the cold rainy day we were having. For my meal I got the Grilled Cheese which is more of an elevated "grown up" grilled cheese. It had cheese, thin apple slices, fig jam and bacon. The flavors were great, I only wish there was a little more cheese or a little less jam to balance the sweet and savory a little more, because for me it was a touch too sweet. The sourdough it was made with was delicious and fresh, I also appreciate that they don't seem to soak their grilled cheese in oil like a lot of places do (butter or nothing, please!!) My husband ordered the burger which he really enjoyed but nothing was going to top the pulled pork Mac and cheese for him. They should consider adding it to the regular menu! He originally wanted the duck sandwich but it was unavailable on this day. All in all it was a cozy afternoon together. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure to check on us without ever being too overbearing.

From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Our server was attentive and professional, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and quietly classy--ideal for a relaxed lunch and conversation. I started with the Candy Roaster Squash & Coconut Soup, a vegan dish with a warm, sweet, and hearty flavor profile. It was absolutely perfect on a cold winter day. For my entrée, I ordered the Brewer's Burger with pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, rosemary aioli, and a side of frites. The flavors came together beautifully--salty, sweet, and savory notes all working in harmony. Truly a dance in your mouth. One additional detail worth noting: the gender-neutral accessible restroom was spotless and had a very pleasant odor. It was top-notch, just like everything else about this restaurant.
