We sat for 10 minutes before anyone came over. The server didn't say hello what can I get you when he finally came over, he just threw the menus down and walked away. When you're in a fine dining experience, you expect kinder and faster service. Another server came over a few minutes later to ask if anyone had come over yet, I think she could tell we were looking around for service. For appetizers, the carpaccio and tuna crispy rice were good, I did have a few shells in the crispy rice. The steak seemed small for 32 oz of a tomahawk, not worth it. Not sure if 32 oz includes the bone or not. Whipped potatoes were good.

Attended a work event here and everyone was highly impressed with the food and staff at Del Frisco's. The drinks were great and the food was even better. My steak was cooked perfectly and the strawberry cheesecake was rich and flavorful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was live music in the lobby when we walked in which was a nice touch that you don't see in a lot of places anymore[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant was very clean and very much so gives an upscale atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Phenomenal service and mouthwatering dishes. Steak cooked to a perfect medium (you never seem to get that anymore)! My tuna was tender and went wonderfully with the paired radish salad as well as the asparagus we added on . I will say I wasn't impressed with the beef carpaccio. That is one of my top favorite dishes and I found the stone mustard to be extremely over powering which was disappointing. However , I realize a lot of restaurants simply can't find their niche until they have trial and error with different dishes , recipes and customers/guests. This is why I am okay with giving 5 stars. Service very professional and we even had the manager stop by to check in. It was nice seeing that some places still have the curtsey to go above and beyond to ensure we leave with a satisfied belly and a great experience. Expensive - yesss. My husband ordered their margarita and asked them to make it a double. $42!! However it was in fact a perfect margarita. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is pretty typical fine dining kind of decor /set up. Very modern very classy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The service was on point and the food Definitely Did NOT disappoint [[HIGHLIGHT]]The night vibe was nice[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the Sommelier- Joma * (hope I didn't misspell apologies in advance), did a great job with the perfect recommendation for a bottle of Red to pair with our dinner. The apps were perfect! our table of 5 enjoyed the Wagyu Meatballs, the Thick cut Bacon and the Tuna Tartar. For dinner we each enjoyed different dishes. I had the lobster Bisque, there was a Strip Steak had, a Ceasar salad, Truffled Fries, the Creamed Spinach was really tasty as well. I recommend a night here with a group or by yourself, and perhaps a date night I will always come back here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar is amazing with live entertainment to have drinks, or while waiting for a table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cheers!!! Bon Appetite!!

This is definitely one of the nicest restaurants in Pittsburgh. The vibe was great around Christmas, with a live singer in the bar area. On a Saturday night there was definitely more noise, which we like, rather than your quiet high end restaurant. Service was great, but as expected for the price. Filet, lobster mac, whipped potatoes all 5/5. Salmon 3.5/5 (lacked some flavor) Ahi Tuna 4/5 Butter cake 4.5/5 Beignets 3.5/5

I had a work meeting scheduled and I arrived early. We decided to get some apps at the bar. I ordered the bacon bites and the steak & cheese egg rolls. The bacon bites had an amazing smokey flavor and just melted in your mouth. The egg rolls were just ok. They were sort of bland, and they give you a sweet Chilli sauce, but when I think Steak & Cheese, sweet chilli sauce doesn't go. They gave me some Dijon mustard which helped. The break was just ok this time, seemed a bit stale. Not the super fresh and soft it usually is. The Tuna tartar was also very good. I ordered it with bread chips instead of the prawn chips. The Hamachi - was fantastic. It was my 1st time having it and the flavor was incredible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar was crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartenders were great as usual.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was very nice and upscale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was impeccable. We ordered the surf and turf trio and the 16 oz prime ribeye. The seafood was spectacular, highly recommend the lobster tail. Wait staff was very friendly.

Fine dining begins and ends with cordial, knowledgeable and attentive staff and servers. It begins when you walk in the door of this trendy, beautiful restaurant. The greeting of the staff, the amazing bartender, and then ultimately Daniel our server made it a warm and wonderful night to remember. The wine service was excellent. Daniel's recommendations were perfection. Filet with a scallop and a crab cake to share. We started off with oysters to wake up our palettes. And oh the warm butter nut cake with vanilla ice cream to end our dinner was delish! The espresso was the best and off to the theatre we went! Thank you to Daniel and the team of staff that makes it a favorite classy place to go.

my first time there -- compliments to Chef Alberto (excellent!!) and our waiter, Zach, who gave perfect attention throughout the night iykyk and very professional as well as down to earth .. I can't wait to go back when returning to Pittsburgh! the food was to die for - yummy .. not a complaint in the house .. [[HIGHLIGHT]]perfect lighting and great save between guests - not crowded together like a can of sardines..[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]it was perfect - great birthday celebration .. I loved it!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Some of the best steak in the city! Although it is a chain it never disappoints and 2 times a year we get to enjoy restaurant week deals and pricing and they have one of the BEST. I mean just look at it. The service, food, and vibe is always on point! See you all soon!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Del Frisco is another upscale steak restaurant, with the same menu, atmosphere, prices, and service as the others.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a very pleasant dinner tonight, martinis, shared strip steak, fries, and creamed corn. Service was excellent and the food was good, but the dinner lasted over an hour and a half, even though we ordered quickly. We may return when it's convenient, but there's nothing special to attract us.

This is a spacious and beautifully decorated restaurant with multiple floors for seating. The wine list has a nice selection of glasses and bottles. The dinner rolls have a light touch of honey and butter making them slightly sweet and holding a nice texture without making them soggy. The house salad comes with bacon on it which is a nice touch. They do not offer a vinaigrette dressing which is a bit surprising. The sea bass was prepared with a nice crunch on top and well cooked. The fried rice was mainstream. The steak (not pictured) was a nice size and cooked perfectly to the request. We were too full for dessert. The staff was very nice and all signed the birthday card.

We walked into Del Frisco's for an early dinner during Restaurant Week, and it was an absolute treat. The ambiance is undeniably upscale, but it still feels inviting rather than stuffy. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and exactly as ordered. But the real surprise was the twice-baked potato, which was hands-down one of the best I've ever had. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, it elevated the meal even further. Adding to the experience was the live music, which was done exceptionally well--tasteful and at the perfect volume, enhancing the atmosphere without forcing conversations into a shouting match. And the service? Absolutely top-notch. From start to finish, I felt well taken care of, with friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was just right. Would 100% come back--Del Frisco's knows how to do steakhouse dining right!

Upon entering the restaurant, there are crystal chandeliers, bright colors, French posters, and a lively atmosphere. The restaurant had a lot of potential until we experienced the service and cuisine. I brought my Supper Club here, and we had a group of 8 of us. There was also a very large group at the restaurant. We were neglected on several occasions, and it took us 2 HOURS just to get our food order. That's not an exaggeration. Our waitress was rather snippy with us, and ended up apologizing at the end but it did make for an unpleasant experience. When we finally received our bread, we were so hungry that we scarfed it down despite it being not so great sour dough bread. Every dish was flavorless and left us wanting more. I had to send back the steak on two occasions: once for being undercooked and once for being overcooked. I ended up getting my meal for free. The Coquilles St. Jacques had the smallest scallops without the lovely scallop shell its usually served in. The shrimp cocktail tasted like anything you could get at the grocery store. The Nicoise Salad was just sad and flavorless. The porkchop and escargot had the most flavor. I will definitely not be back to this establishment. Our group did enjoy each other's company, and it created a very memorable experience even though it was an overall bad experience!

The seating hostess looked too casual in her jeans. The experience got better. The room contained only 16 seats so was quiet. Throughout our dinner, our waitress provided timely and friendly service. Our appetizer was Bone Marrow, which tasted very rich with toast. For the main course, my husband's 12-ounce Queen Cut Prime Rib was juicy and flavorful, especially with the accompanying horseradish, beef au jus, and Yorkshire pudding. He called the prime rib a "dinosaur of a steak," and he had leftovers to take home. My special of Lobster Thermidor was fewer ounces but was also very flavorful. We also enjoyed our sides of Truffle Fries and Creamed Spinach. For dessert the Baked Alaska was a show for both our eyeballs (tall flames of fire!) and tastebuds. We did not order any alcohol. The total price for our six foods, state tax, and credit-card fee was $237 plus a tip.

It's cute but crowded with plush seating. I can't imagine being here on a busy night, it must feel like there's no breathing room. Service was fine. Our order was correct and servers were friendly. The best part about this place is the cocktails but don't expect them to be strong. My drink was absolutely delicious but with the mood effects of a mocktail, meaning nothing. I ordered two because why is this almost $20 with no buzz in sight, are we not a lounge? The menu was plentiful though I think the chef may be a little off about the origins of some of the menu items- just be Greek, friend, it'll be okay. I didn't try the pizza, which is almost half of the menu because I wasn't impressed by the small plates. How can you get pickled cauliflower wrong in Pittsburgh. That should be a sin. The hummus was okay but could use a little more ancient influence... like maybe 4,000 years worth, idk. Overall, I wouldn't be back and wouldn't recommend. It's trendy in it's ambience but doesn't deliver anything better than 25 other spots along the same street. AVVA in Aspinwall is a better option. I came here based on reviews by Elite's and this place was incredibly misrepresented.

LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good.
