This is a must go to restaurant while in Pittsburgh. My husband and I had an amazing dinner that will not be soon forgotten. We had reservations and sat at a great table in the third floor. I ordered a fun mocktail that reminded me of a Pink Drink from Starbucks and my husband picked a drink of the month. We ordered the salmon and lobster and crab Mac and cheese...both were dreamworthy!!! We also got the famous strawberry pretzel salad with the cotton candy and sparkler. Everything we had was wonderful and we can not wait to try another menu soon!

The entire place is so darn cute and picture worthy, the decor is on point! We were able to easily get a reservation and were seated right away. Our server had a trainee with them and both of them were fantastic, so nice and helpful. We both started with the lavender lemon drop mocktails, which were both delish. My only complaint is the weird lavender gem-like hard candy that they use as decor on a stick. Makes you think it's edible which it didn't taste like anything at all and didn't dissolve so I'm not quite sure about that one. It was super cute too. We started with the French onion soup which I would definitely order again. The depth of flavor was insane and you don't get that with many onion soups. It came out right away. We decided to split the Asian fried chicken and luckily we did bc it was enough to feed us both. They were awesome and split it in the kitchen without us even asking. It was delicious! Crunchy, the Asian sauce on the bottom of the plate was flavorful, the slaw on the side was awesome to eat with each bite. My silly complaint here is the knives they give you are terrible. Get new knives!!! We also ordered truffle fries which were good but I've had better. They would have been nicer a little crispier and maybe a little seasonings. It had Parmesan and truffle obviously but idk it just needed something. We also ordered tiramisu and the mocha latte cup. Tiramisu was lacking, no coffee flavor. That mocha latte cup though OMG! It had this mousse inside that was incredible and it was so cute looking like a little latte cup! They were tremendous and boxed everything up for us as well. I felt like we didn't even need to lift a finger. The manager also came over and asked us how everything was at one point which was nice.

Since moving out of Pittsburgh, I'm not as in touch with the restaurant scene. Ritual House wasn't really on my radar, but more and more, I was seeing Instagram posts of their photo-worthy decor and food. When my sister proposed making reservations during a recent visit back home, I was certainly interested to try it out. We snagged Sunday AM reservations, which was clutch. The restaurant is located right downtown near the Omni, so ideal location for those staying right in the city. I was a little confused on parking and wound up just valeting my car (I thought it was just a general lot), which I wouldn't have otherwise done. No big deal though! Upon entering, it's clear to see why Ritual House is so popular on social media. The decor is quite trendy and picturesque, especially the hanging basket chairs positioned right in the window. Lots of greenery, plush velvet seats, gold tones, and crystal chandeliers surround the entire restaurant. We were seated in the front at a spacious table with hefty but comfortable seats. Our server was attentive and helpful, offering suggestions when needed. The menu is comprehensive, offering a number of sweet and savory dishes as well as more seasonal items. They also have an impressive brunch cocktail menu! For this visit, we just stuck to coffee, which was standard but solid. For my meal, it was tough to decide which direction to go. I ultimately landed on the Brie French Toast, a seasonal item. I enjoyed the mix of the sweet fruit and bread with the more savory cheese, all encompassed by sweet bread (that could have been thicker, in my opinion). I wound up taking part of it home since it was a decent portion! I've had my share of excellent French toasts, and this one was good but not in my most memorable list. My dining partners all enjoyed their meals (opting for more savory dishes), perhaps raving more about theirs than I did mine. The price point was a little pricey for Pittsburgh, but you are certainly paying for the experience. Overall, my brunch at Ritual House was good, but it's more of a trendy spot for the social media fanatics and influencers than a spot I would pick for the best meal in the city. I would revist to try other meals or other options from their brunch menu, and I can see this being more of a spot for a group of friends vs a date night with my husband!

We had an event in their private space that's tucked away behind the hallway upstairs with the bathrooms. The room itself was spacious and we had four tables with 5-6 people each. I enjoyed the lovely details like the etching on the tables and the silverware. There is a TV to project a presentation and there was a speaker although it was unnecessary. The food came out at a good pace and it was all pretty good in general. People were especially impressed by the presentation of the desserts!

Flew in late and saw ritual house was close to hotel. Phoned in an order and walked over. Went with the cavatappi with grilled chicken and a crème brûlée. Walked to the bar to pick up my order. Friendly service at the door guided me there. Couple floors with chill vibes. Very cool spot. The cavatappi was delicious and the crème brûlée stole the show. Very big portions!

Great gluten free options on their menu Had the deviled eggs, flatbread (it's g/f), bisque & onion soup - ong they were just so yummy Surprisingly the flatbread by far was our favorite - it was really fresh tasting, the crust was delicious - it was perfect The eggs were pretty & yummy The bisque presentation was really nice, the flavor was intense The onion soup was so good - ooey, gooey cheese, the broth was so flavorful & the onion & g/f crouton were gooood Go, enjoy

Stopped in here for the first time on Easter Sunday for brunch. We got seated pretty quick and the restaurant was very clean and service was very good. I got the money Cristo sandwich which was pretty decent, but not great. I probably would not get that sandwich again, but everything else on my visit was just fine.

Ava made our experience special. Even with all of the brilliant colors and lighting to enhance the surroundings of our birthday dinner it will be her thoughtfulness and proficiency that completed the experience. Even though the restaurant was full our appetizers and well plated main courses were served with perfect timing. We were given ample time to enjoy our meal through dessert and then some. I do wonder however how such a finely run establishment thinks seating six at a round table with a deep and very low L-shaped bench on two sides could possibly work out. At 6'-2" I had to sit on two cushions to be high enough above the table to comfortably eat. Even then I had at least eighteen inches between me and the back of the bench. If I was seated elsewhere this would be a five but I just can't overlook the inappropriateness of this use of space. Replace the benches. They are all wrong even if used for a party of four.

This is a go to brunch spot especially when seeing a Sunday Matinee! Not many places in the city do bottomless anymore and what can I say I love that option HAHA. No pictures of the mimosas but what I love about theirs is you get to mix the ratio yourself. Perfect for the people who love a whisper of juice with their champagne. (It's me, I'm people) Now for the food, we ordered a table pancake (Coffee Crumb Cake), Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, and Avocado Toast. The pancake was good I wish it had more of the coffee cake flavor throughout though, it was only on the top of the pancake. The sausage gravy and biscuits was for sure my favorite thing. You can pick your eggs to be any way, I chose cheesey scrambled and they were perfect! The potato's were so flavorful I didn't need any sort of sauce for them. Normally I stay away from avocado toast on a menu just because it's usually not worth the price to me. This one was on focaccia and came with 2 poached eggs on top so this is an exception to my rule! So good the eggs were poached to perfection! Side salads I can take or leave but this was a nice accompaniment lol.

The shrimp and grits.... Amazing, no notes. Service could've been a little bit quicker but I understand a Saturday morning can be busy! The food was delicious and this is a great spot!!

Food was a 100000/10 for flavor and quality. The drinks were incredible, our server was so great! All around great experience!! The wagyu ragu was unbelievable, lighter than expected thankfully.

The ambiance is cute and trendy unless they take you to the far back room which unfortunately was our case. It feels like a cold, not well thought out, addition where they stick the customers they don't want to be seen. It's a completely different vibe and honestly worth asking to change. But we didn't our server was wonderful and even brought us out a complimentary treat for a recent celebration. The food was okay. The brisket lacked a bit of flavor and so did the veggie dumplings but the kimchi on it was delish. The best salad was also nice. The cocktails were good that I can say with confidence. Man on the wing of the plane is their take on a paper plane and it was well balanced and tasty. Overall I was mostly disappointed at the location in which they sat us. They really need to spend more attention on that room. The rest was just okay. But our server was wonderful.

Online this place looks regal and higher end. At first the ambiance gives that but the food and drinks absolutely lacked. I sat at the bar and wanted to take part in the happy hour menu. There were tons of people working and multiple people tending the bar. I ordered drinks and a few appetizers with one person and another person delivered them. Our drinks were extremely extremely syrupy and sweet. I asked for club soda to cut through the sweetness. The bartender I spoke to wanted wanted to know who made the drinks and if we wanted them remade. Our food came out and the wrong dumplings were delivered. Again, the person who dropped them off was different from the person who too out order and again wanted to know who took the initial order. Seemed like there was a lot of disorder behind the bar. The food was nothing to write home about and the drinks were not good at all. This place looks nicer than it is! Plenty of other places to try out.

Is there valet parking or a nearby garage?

They do have valet parking. A close garage is 350 Oliver, just a couple blocks away and I believe they still have a very reasonable evening and weekend late around four dollars!

Is there a required attire for brunch?

I was there in a sweatshirt and yoga pants last Saturday, so hopefully not!

    Not clear about Dinner?

The food was ok but overpriced. There are many other better restaurants in pittsburgh.

When we walked in, the host greeted us right away, asked for our name, and seated us pretty quickly. There were actually a good amount of open seats, so I am not sure reservations were completely necessary, but it was still nice to have one. I honestly expected the inside to feel more extravagant and space themed, almost like an outer space vibe with more visual elements and atmosphere. I was hoping for something more immersive and futuristic. It was still cool overall, just not quite as visually dramatic as I imagined. We ordered an espresso martini and the Kiwi Nova. I really enjoyed my drink, especially after talking with the host who explained that they use scientific processes for their cocktails along with fresh purées and fresh ingredients. That is something I really appreciate because I am not a fan of drinks made with a lot of simple syrup or fake additives. He loved his espresso martini and said it was one of the best he has had. My drink was definitely on the sweeter side and I feel like too much of it might lead to a hangover, but it was still really good. Our server was attentive at first, but later on we ended up waiting a while to order another round. After sitting for a bit, we decided to order through the hostess instead and she got us taken care of right away. Overall, it was a cool experience mainly for the drinks. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. Service was okay, and I am not sure if we will return, but I am glad we finally got to check it out.

I've heard so many mixed things that I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed every aspect of my experience. It kind of has dive bar vibes but the food and drink options are definitely on the elevated side. They open at 4 on Sundays and I got there around 4:15. It was already pretty busy (and by the time I was leaving, every single table and bar stool were occupied). They have standard booth seats along the windows, hightop tables in the middle and bar seating along the bar that curves along the back of the restaurant. I chose to sit at the bar since I was by myself. I was promptly greeted by the bartender. They don't hand you copies of the menu, you have to scan the QR code to access. It is easy to read and follow with sections for drinks, specials (this time they were Wicked themed as a nod to the show at the Benedum) and a sushi section. I ordered the street corn dip. The chips were a bit overcooked and the dip was just OK. I thought it was pricey for what you got. The star of my meal, though, was the patty melt. It had the burger, a bacon jam, caramelized onions and was absolutely delicious! It was served with fries. I considered ordering sushi but wasn't sure what to expect. The patrons sitting on either side of my ordered rolls and they were a nice size and looked delicious, so that is something I would consider ordering in the future. It was a place I'll likely be back to because of the proximity to the theater (although their prices definitely reflect that). Just note how crowded it always is and give yourself plenty of time if you plan on heading here for dinner before the show.
